So it is not normal for a horse to have gas? It’s been 50 years since I was even around any horses, and I was never especially aware of what they ate. I didn’t realize this was dangerous behavior when I first saw the video.

“Its not going to get as high or last as long as we told you. Yah some people got flooded, but they live in trailers because we won’t let people build houses down there anymore because of the flooding.”

Well I made it down to Paradise late yesterday. I got up early, made a pot of coffee and walked down to the pier, (exactly 2 miles round trip), took a quick dip in the gulf and yup, life is good.
Everything is at last winding down here with likely a bit over 2″ in the gauge when we can see it in the morning. It will be nice to have a week of sun and drying weather to get rid of the mildew and rescue the nearly drowned plants.
Hope everybody is still dry at home. G’night all.
