Big-A$$ed USB Flash Drive

Our resident non-technical contributor and bane of computing forwarded me an article that shows what has to be the biggest USB flash drive ever. It looks like it could be some sort of Soviet-era effort at miniaturization and probably holds at least 200 bytes.

On the bright side, it’s hard to lose.

I’ve been fighting some ants for a few weeks now. I had put some bait out, which didn’t work, then went to a chemical/janitorial supply place and got some gel type bait (which I probably could have gotten at the store, and Hubby had gotten some concentrate (which no way I could have gotten at the store). I’ve been baiting… Read more »

Just to show that I’m not completely and totally racist, I do believe that the vunables have a point in that they have lost trust in the judicial system in America today. So have I. When we have a lawless President and a lawless Attorney General who daily stomp on the Constitution and make a mockery of our checks and… Read more »

I received a UPS delivery today with the driver showing up in a U-Haul truck rental. He said UPS is already being swamped with seasonal demand unlike anything they have ever seen before. Does this signal the end for brick and mortar – especially if you figure in Ebolacare and the like?

I’m just wondering why the police even bother to show up at some of these “protest sites” rather than just let anarchy prevail. I suppose that it looks better to have a few policemen standing around watching the circus, but I can’t see that they serve any purpose whatsoever, except that perhaps their presence makes a better photo op. They… Read more »

I’m not sure how I feel about this. If I’m innocent, I’d be inclined to answer questions. But then again, I’ve heard that an innocent person can get entangled in a crime, especially since the one being questioned doesn’t know what evidence the police actually. “My Cousin Vinnie” comes to mind.

Remember Stuxnet that created all kinds of havoc for the Iranian nuke program. The Iranians were smart enough to not allow their computers internet access, so those working on the nuke program could only talk to each other. Having been challenged with how to infect their network, the Israeli (or the US agents, or whoever) left thumb drives on the… Read more »

Ms Adee Hmm, weird but interesting. I think I’d want to know who owns the brick wall that thing is stuck in. I am not so concerned about who owns the wall. I am more concerned with downloading some really bad computer critter. How many times have we been told not to open attachments in our email that come form… Read more »

INVESTIGATION: Lena Dunham ‘Raped by a Republican’ Story in Bestseller Collapses Under Scrutiny. In her just-released memoir, Not That Kind of Girl, Lena Dunham describes her alma mater, Oberlin College, as “a liberal arts haven in the cornfields of Ohio.” After a month-long investigation that included more than a dozen interviews, a trip to the Oberlin campus, and hours spent… Read more »

The special election to fill Contoller-Elect Glenn Hegar’s unexpired Texas Senate District 18 term has turned nasty in the past week, with candidate Gary Gates of Richmond going very negative on current state rep. Lois Kolkhorst of the Brenham area. It seems to have also become a chess game of her statewide endorsements vs. his mostly Fort Bend County endorsements.… Read more »

This is interesting but notice that the PC crowd left out the main reason for the comeback, illegal immigration, also notice that Colorado and Washington have the highest numbers. Could that be because of all the liberal transplants that moved there? The Measles Outbreak Coming Near You. Parents who won’t vaccinate their children are reviving once-dead diseases. Will a vaccine… Read more »
