The best thing that can happen with any encounter with a cop is nothing and it goes downhill quickly from there. There is no positive outcome, the best you can hope for is a neutral outcome.

New Heartland Study: European Union Is on the Verge of Vassalizing America Through New Global ESG Law
Published March 31, 2025
https://heartland.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/CSDDD-press-release-main-image.png
‘The CSDDD is the greatest threat to America’s sovereignty since the fall of the Soviet Union.’
‘If allowed to proceed unchecked, the CSDDD will eviscerate U.S. sovereignty, economic prosperity, free markets, and individual liberty.’
‘The EU’s CSDDD is exactly the type of aggressive and globalist progressive meddling that provokes President Trump to consider tariffs.’
‘The EU’s CSDDD isn’t just a law—it’s a global shackle, chaining businesses and freedoms to Brussels’ radical agenda.’
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL (March 31, 2025) – The radical environmental, social, and governance (ESG) movement has recently experienced substantial setbacks in the United States. However, ESG is far from dead. In fact, it will soon be imposed on America by the European Union.
The European Union’s recently enacted Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) is designed to impose sweeping ESG obligations on large companies worldwide—including hundreds of America’s most prominent corporations—regardless of whether they are based in the European Union.
Worse, large companies covered by the CSDDD will be forced to ensure that nearly all their business partners adhere to the same stringent obligations, irrespective of how much revenue they generate or where they conduct business. Because of this focus on companies’ supply and value chains, it is possible that nearly every business in the world will ultimately be forced to comply with the European Union’s draconian policy initiatives, transforming global economic and social activity.
To hell with the Yuro-Peon nanny staters! We don’t need them. We have the cropland, raw materials, energy, and smarts to live just fine without their BS. The lust for power is strong with that EU bunch. May they all choke on their own vomit.

I was thinking the same thing.

-
I think I may have lost one to the ether
-
I was able to re-create it above.
-
Please don’t do that we might be slow and deficient but will turn it loose in time. Thanks

Re: Euro CSDDD
Looks like a lot of U.S. companies will be headed back home anyway, with or without Trump’s tariff experiment.
This is the one-world-government that has been brewing for a long time.

Checking in late with no good excuse.

The FBI withheld these documents from Congress for almost 8 years.
The FBI has released long-requested records concerning the 2017 Congressional Baseball Game shooting, which targeted Republican lawmakers. The shooter, James Hodgkinson, opened fire at the Alexandria, Virginia practice session, critically injuring Congressman Steve Scalise (R-LA). Hodgkinson was killed by police during the attack.
President Donald J. Trump’s newly confirmed FBI Director, Kash Patel, announced the handover of documents to Congress amid years of contention about the agency’s classification of the incident. The FBI had initially termed the attack “suicide by cop” rather than domestic terrorism, a decision that ignited criticism from Republican congressmen demanding transparency and clarity as to how the bureau came to that determination.
“I can report that as of 30 minutes ago, the FBI has provided the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence all requested documents related to the Congressional Baseball Game shooting in 2017,” Patel wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter). He added: “These are documents sought by Capitol Hill officials for almost eight years. Providing these documents was one of our top priorities in delivering a new FBI era of transparency. Thank you to the committee and Chairman Rep. Rick Crawford for your partnership in getting Americans the truth.”

mRNA vaccination causes long-term changes in a crucial part of our chromosomes — changes previously linked to inflammatory and autoimmune diseases and cancers including leukemia and brain tumors.
The finding came in a peer-reviewed paper from German researchers last week. The discovery might help explain post-mRNA jab “inflammatory diseases which occur in… [some] vaccinated individuals,” the researchers wrote.

I’ve had it with these European jackasses. Withdraw from NATO, demolish the EU HQ in Brussels and let the Russians have them. I just don’t give a damn about them anymore.
-
TODAY IS APRIL FOOLS DAY AND THERE IS NOT ONE ATTEMPT TO FOOL. This place has become too serious.
-
Life is too short to wrapped around the axel about EVERYTHING.
-
Like my Grandma used to say when I got all cross ways
“Have you gone to the bathroom today?”
I love my Grandma.-
What a discreet way to tell you that you’re full of crap. . . .
-
Yup
-
-
-
Cops actually doing their job. Like the cammer said, “Why do you think it revolves around you?” The truck guy could have just gone on about his day but, no, he had to escalate the situation because his middle name is Karen.
-
Since I slept like crap night before last, and my back was spasming last night, I took my muscle relaxant (half pill, if I took a full one I wouldn’t’ve woken up until noon) and slept like a rock until 8:00. Got up and took my numbers – surprisingly good, thank goodness – and began my rosary time.
My Catholic podcast guy is forced to cover secular news, because the bishops just continue to dig their hole deeper due to Trump yanking back all of that illegal immigration money. We had a second collection for Catholic Relief Services, and even though I sit only about five pews from the front, there was not a single donation in the basket. I wasn’t going to to be the first to donate to that fund, either. I hear it’s becoming a bigger problem, as all of those sleepy Catholics are becoming aware of just how symbiotic the Church has become with Caesar.
On top of that, there’s more circumstantial evidence that we have a Brandon situation at the Vatican. Pachapapa can barely function, yet his autopen has been busy….
I pray for my Church every day. We have been promised that the Church would go through a passion, but would re-emerge smaller yet more pure from the struggle. A lot of us think we are in the process.

Good morning, C&C, it’s Tuesday! Today’s roundup includes: The most world-shattering executive order yet drops without any warning— and this could change everything; Pete Hegseth moves to strip double standards from military fitness tests; Times trims Trump outrage and avoids taking the bait over third-term presidential run; and tariff brou-ha-ha dominates media coverage as Trump’s Liberation Day looms.
-
First up, weird stuff. And no, we’re not talking about the libs protesting Tesla, it’s UFO stuff. You can read the rest of the story.
April Fool’s! As Mr. C. said, things are so weird that this was almost believable. We live in interesting times!
-
The first real story Mr. C. covers is Hegseth eliminating the two-tiered requirements for the military. Women now have to be just as able bodied as the men, which only makes sense. If you’re on the battlefield and can’t carry your kit or handle your gun, you don’t belong there. Chivalry doesn’t exist in battle.
The Times began its usual tear filled diatribe over the harshness of the patriarchy. But Mr. C. makes this point:
The story suggested a Marine example. In one test, male Marines must do 3 pull-ups or 34 push-ups in two minutes. Female soldiers can open their mascara cases ten times in sixty seconds or … just kidding! The fighting ladies strain to complete one push-up or eke out 15 push-ups in two minutes.
How do you suppose the guys feel about that? That’s not just a rhetorical question. Morale is an unquantifiable but critical war-fighting factor. Double standards devastate morale in the military same as everywhere else.
I want our fighting men to be able to depend upon their war-mates to have their back in the thick of things.
A high-ranking female in the military agrees:
Kristen’s op-ed was titled, “With Equal Opportunity Comes Equal Responsibility: Lowering Fitness Standards to Accommodate Women Will Hurt the Army—and Women.” In it, Kristen argued that lower standards for female soldiers “not only jeopardized mission readiness in combat units but also reinforced the false notion that women are categorically incapable of performing the same job as men.”
So, apart from Hegseth, the op-ed only quoted a lady soldier arguing against double standards for women. In other words, the Times isn’t snapping up the bait this time. They didn’t reflexively try to defend the indefensible.

I mentioned yesterday or day before, that Trump was trolling the idea that he could serve a third term:
Trump’s third-term trolling has really triggered the blue-check crowd. The whole thing boils down to a goofy, legally questionable idea: Trump could run as VP in 2028, then take over when the president resigns. That’s it. That’s the grand conspiracy.
Ironically, when conservatives floated this exact same theory about Obama — that he’d slide in as Joe’s VP and then run the show — the media sneered, called it QAnon hysteria, and completely ignored it.
This time they can’t quit talking about it. They’re obsessed! And it’s hilarious. Trump should play an awesome April Fool’s joke today, and announce the formation of his Third Term Victory Committee. They’d lose their minds faster than a toddler who just got their iPad taken away for the rest of the day.
There really isn’t enough popcorn.
-
And then Trump is touting “Liberation Day” with the reciprocal tariff EO taking effect tomorrow. Trump is not releasing details of what “liberation day” will look like, leaving the left looking like the dog who’s favorite tug toy has been taken away. The left is, of course, confused, demoralized, angry, and triggered muchly:
..The President is all set to impose … something. But he hasn’t said what. And that is driving the media mucho loco.
I’m not sure that anything like these “secret tariffs” has ever happened before. … Once again, President Trump has shattered the normal rules, coyly refusing to say exactly what “Liberation Day” actually looks like.
/snip
Trump is basically weaponizing trade policy as political theater— transforming the idea of tariffs into a global media spectacle. And he’s obviously loving it.
Despite the media screaming that the consumer pays the tariff costs, the reaction of Canada and Mexico refute those claims. As Mr. C. points out, it’s more of a market access issue. We haven’t had “free markets” for decades, despite what the media says. Foreign governments have tariffed, taxed, and regulated American goods out the wazoo, and America has just accepted it; maybe even celebrated it, depending upon which side of the aisle is being discussed.
…Trump says he’s going to shut that racket down.
And if he does, the potential economic benefits are incalculable. After a short period of moderately painful adjustment, Trump’s field-leveling will likely trigger a Rust Belt renaissance— massive re-investment in American manufacturing, reshoring of strategic industries, stronger middle-class wages, and the long-overdue collapse of the post-WWII globalist order that’s always been subsidized by American consumers.
In other words: a short-term hit will land on Wall Street. But the long-term result could be a historic Main Street revival. And that’s just the part we can see.
Don’t forget the External Revenue Service!
That’s not just a tax policy tweak. It’s a shot across the bow at the entire globalist free ride. The carefully complicated system of international trade designed to enrich our arrogant élites could come crashing down. No wonder they are freaking out.
Stand by for Liberation Day.
-
Surprise surprise surprise.
the propagandist media told the truth today. -
What’s a donkey’s favorite day of the year?
April Mule’s Day!
what did one donkey say to another donkey when his owner called him a jacka$$?
he said hee-aww, hee-aww, hee-aww, hee-awwlways calls me that.
-
That’s just weird.
-
-
Mark Steyn gets a little satisfaction.
Why is it that the lefties lie so much?
-
$530,000!!!!!
Thats wonderful for Mark.
I guarantee you that doesn’t cover the actual nor the non-monetary costs to Steyn.
-
-
WTF?! I just paid $2.70 for a head of Iceberg Lettuce about the size of a Ruby Red Grapefruit!
-
One reason I’m growing leaf lettuce in my reduced garden. It’s easy to grow, until it bolts. I had a lot of it bolt last year (because of our hot weather, and it’s an inevitable result anyway), and I saved the seeds. I may be growing a hybrid mix of the varieties I had going last year, but it’s all edible greens. If I get a Sandy-Oak Leaf mix, Hubby won’t know the difference.
Here’s hoping that my sun shaded garden experiment results in extending the growing season this year.
-
Pretty sure nobody was holding a gun to your head, forcing you to buy it.
-
Well no.
-
-
Just wait till the tariffs kick in. Most produce could become luxury items.
I used to be a real salad hound.
To reduce waste, I’ll buy a couple of pre-made salads a week and try to stretch them into four small servings.-
Costco sells a big, fresh salad with some great dressing included for $8 to $9. We can make 4 nice servings out of it. We usually have some grilled chicken or fish to sprinkle on top. It’s cheaper and less wasteful than buying all the ingredients for only two people.
-
-
FWIW; My point besides the cost was the tiny size. We don’t use Iceberg lettuce in salads but always have some in the fridge for sammaches. We buy the large box of mixed greens for salad and add our own tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, carrots and peppers and stuff.
-
-
It’s overcast today but we’re not expecting rain until Saturday. I think I’m going to try to water my garden. Handyman just mowed the grass, so I’m hoping the mosquitoes won’t be as aggressive as they were the last time I was outside. I may mix up some vanilla extract water if they are; it’s supposed to be a less chemically laden alternative to DEET based products.
-
I want every single agent who was involved in the Hunter Biden laptop coverup charged with obstruction of justice and election tampering.
-
Never. Enough. Spit.
Although putting some of those agents on spits is an intriguing idea.
-
-
I just never got into the whole April Fool’s Day thing.
-
STIM

I have always detested practical jokes. They are usually meant to humiliate or demean another person.

The Battle of Okinawa, codenamed Operation Iceberg, was a major World War II battle fought between the United States and Japan on the island of Okinawa from April 1 to June 22, 1945, serving as a crucial stepping stone for the planned invasion of mainland Japan. The Old Bastards fought this battle. No it was not Texpat Shannon and me, A great story just the same.

This guy has lots of videos. I find him to be an outstanding storyteller. Look for ‘The Fat Electrician’ on ewetube.

This is incredible. It’s hard to believe, but thanks to the people at the American Accountability Foundation we know about it.
Sue O’Sullivan of Veritas Association Management is the managing director of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) and 26 other medical organizations across the United States, according to tax documents reviewed by the American Accountability Foundation. WPATH is a radical organization that has pushed for transgender medical procedures on children, including the removal of breasts for girls who identify as boys, and opposed laws to protect kids from such procedures.
O’Sullivan is the co-founder and president of Veritas Association Management, an Illinois-based professional services company that manages operations for dozens of mainstream medical organizations like the American Pediatric Surgical Association and the American Society of Andrology.
-
Here’s another one. This woman still runs a major division of the IRS after being Lois Lerner’s henchwoman trying to stop Tea Party activists over 10 years ago.
We know this because of Thomas Jones and the American Accountability Foundation (AAF). AAF recently asked why Holly Paz, who was Lerner’s top deputy during the targeting scandal, is now in charge of the IRS Large Business and International Division.
This is the same Holly Paz who provided deceptive testimony during two congressional hearings, was suspended temporarily from her official duties, and, with Lerner, was sued for civil damages. The latter was settled out of court.
Lerner retired but Paz did not, and during the Biden administration, the Inflation Reduction Act — quite possibly the most misleadingly named piece of legislation ever passed by Congress — established the operation she now heads.

Culture is still upstream from politics…
What the massive fires in Southern California didn’t burn was set afire by the Woke Hollywood mob of morons. Ace has long coverage of the debacle and sheer panic of the entertainment industry via the Daily Mail expose. As I commented the other day, Disney is on track to lose $270 million on Snow White. The movie itself is horrible, but pouring gasoline on the fire was little Rachel Zegler, star of the show and hostess to the biggest disaster in Hollywood history.
More than a dozen Hollywood insiders ranging from an Oscar-nominated producer to the writer of one of the most successful TV shows ever have spoken exclusively to the Daily Mail about an industry in ‘crisis mode.’
‘When the #MeToo [in late 2017] and George Floyd protests [May 2020] happened, every studio in town jumped on the woke bandwagon,’ a Disney insider says.
‘Five years on,’ he adds, ‘everyone is desperately trying to save themselves and Hollywood. You can’t underestimate the fear behind closed doors. This feels like a battle for survival.’
This is truly funny.
Amazon, which owns The Apprentice – the show which made Donald Trump a TV star – has added every episode to its Prime Video streaming service after mothballing it for years.
‘The numbers have been incredible,’ one Amazon insider told me. ‘Now anti-woke programming is making money. But it could be too little too late. So many jobs have been lost because of [DEI].’
and,
A&E is bringing back Duck Dynasty, which the liberal executives hated, and Cops-like show called Live PD is coming back, too — after it had been cancelled in the post-George-Floyd anti-cop panic.
-
I read the column. Sweet, sweet comeuppance.
-
Rachel Zegler, once one of the luckiest girls in the world, has now dropped a bunker-buster bomb on her own career. She did that at 23 years old and she will probably not be able to get a job in Hollywood sweeping the floors in the future.
She is going to have to buy a used Tesla and work for Uber or just go ahead and get an OnlyFans account. It’s what all the washed up bimbos and talentless trashy girls do.

What ?!!!
“While it’s always difficult to see violence and property attacks, are the attacks on Tesla and Tesla vehicles justified?” the pollsters asked.
The vast majority of respondents (70%) said, “No,” while 11% said they were not sure. Nearly one-fifth, however, said “Yes” (19%).
Respondents who live in high population density areas (53%) proved most likely to say the attacks were justified, followed by self-described atheists (45%) and respondents who say they think about politics every day or nearly every day (41%). Younger respondents (ages 18-34) also proved more likely to call the attacks justified (36%), as did supporters of Bernie Sanders’ policies (32%), and Democrats (31%).
Republicans (13%), independents (14%), supporters of Trump’s policies (9%), and self-described Bible-believing Christians (13%) proved less likely to support the attacks.

I was going to cut and paste from my book, part of Zachary King’s story of redemption, from High Wizard of the Stnic Church to his conversion. His story is truly horrifying in parts: the 146 abortions he enthusiastically participated in because that’s what Stn likes; his attendance at Bohemian Grove and Bilderberger conferences, being hounded by the elites – millionaires, and politicians – begging for spells; and the whole adrenochrome abomination. Adrenochrome is a substance claimed to be extracted from human victims, the result of literally being horrified to death. Without the details, I have to assume the victims are bled out after being scared to death and the adrenal secretions processed out. I don’t see it just seeping out of the corpse and being scooped up. Since all of the stronger stnic rituals involve blood, it seems probable. His story also mentions that stn feeds on abortions, and there are wizards in every time zone around the world, conducting 3 hour long black masses consecrating all of that day’s abortions in their zone to the master of lies himself.
His story includes 3 failed abortions; procedures that failed had the common factor of the presence of Catholics praying rosaries near the clinic. that was just one more thing that made him question which was stronger- his demon or God?
Then he was handed a Miraculous Medal and saw Mary, felt her love, and then who then presented him to Jesus. That day, his desire to perform his evil procedures ceased. He ran from his stnc church. He began going to mass, and saw Jesus standing on the altar with the priest, His love beaming out over the congregation. He went to Adoration, where the Real Presence of Jesus was displayed, where he saw and felt His presence. He eventually went through the process of being accepted into the Catholic Church.
Mary gave him the task of helping her end abortion. He uses his story to further her work in saving souls, spiritually and physically. He is still attacked by the dark side to this day. He is virtually blind and has lost a foot. In this humble state, he continues to speak out. Witnesses have seen him being physically attacked by dark forces.
Whether you believe in all of the spiritual stuff or not, what horrified me was his description of the global elites and their plans to control the world. Those plans included decreasing the population via disease and “vaccinations”. Managing food sources. Smaller populations are easier to control. A billionaire, “Mr. G.” was one of these, and it was Mr. G. that brought the adrenochrome into the boardroom and tried to force everyone to drink it.
I was going to cut and paste a few pages from Mr. King’s story, but I’ll link to a video interview and to his ministry web page instead.
We are fighting dark forces, indeed. Keep praying.

Both races called for R in FLA.
But turn out was terrible. That doesn’t bode well for WIS. Maybe.
-
What the damn hell is WIS ? I am so sick of living in a subterranean world of acronyms nobody can possibly keep up with.
-
Sorry, I was in a hurry.
Wisconsin. Location of the most important election today.-
Most important election until the mid-terms.
-
-
-
-
Oh sorry. WIS is for Wisconsin
-
In case you haven’t noticed over the years, I go out of my way to avoid using acronyms that suddenly came into common use with the smartphones and texting. I hated them then and I hate them now. Some of the worst are military bloggers and they get no forgiveness from me, but the world seems to be overrun with lazy ass people.
-
Couldn’t agree with you more.
I was in a hurry. Sorry.
-
-
Appears WIS went to the Blue WISSERS
-
WISconsin voters overwhelmingly ensconce Voter ID into their state constitution.
Yet install the Liberal on their Supreme Court.
/sigh-
Wow
-
-
As long as Milwaukee and Madison exist, we may never turn WISconsin.
-
Just like the sun over the mountaintop
You know I’ll always come again
You know I love to spend my morningtime
Like sunlight dancing on your skin
I’ve never gone so wrong
As for telling lies to you
What you see is what I’ve been
There is nothing I could hide from you
You see me better than I can
Out on the road that lies before me now
There are some turns where I will spin
I only hope that you can hold me now
‘Til I can gain control again
And like a lighthouse
You must stand alone
Landmark the sailor’s journey’s end
No matter what sea
I’ve been sailing on
I’ll always pass this way again
Out on the road that lies before me now
There are some turns where I will spin
I only hope that you can hold me now
Til I can gain control again
