Culinarily speaking, any salad can be a Caesar salad if you stab it enough.

Ditto for salad dressing.

So, yesterday Mark Kelly, the Astronaut turned Democrat lackey ditched his Tesla. What a pathetic little 5 year old girl! But I thought it was fitting that he did this on the same day that Elon Musk sent his Space X Rocket to rescue Mark’s old NASA colleagues. 😉

This is a fantastic discovery if it proves to be widely successful.

In the spring of 2022, Tim Story’s doctor told him that he likely had just months to live.

Story, a high school football coach in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, had been diagnosed with Stage 3 small bowel cancer two years earlier, at the age of 49, after mysterious pains in his side turned out to be a tumor in his small intestine. Surgery and several grueling rounds of chemotherapy and immunotherapy had failed to stop the cancer, which had spread to other organs.

    and,

There was one final option, however: He could join an unusual clinical trial at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston that had just started recruiting patients. Highly experimental — and with no guarantee of success — the trial involved getting a so-called fecal transplant from a patient with advanced cancer who had been completely cured by immunotherapy. The idea was that the unique populations of gut bacteria found within the stool might help kick-start the immune system to better recognize and fight the cancer.

    plus this,

It was around 18 months later, in the fall of 2023, that Story began to notice a tone of optimism in Overman’s voice. The fecal transplant, combined with PD-1 inhibitors, had triggered a remarkable shift in his body, and his tumors were starting to disappear. By the fall of 2024, he was declared cancer-free.

I saw that. They use fecal transplants for the dangerous c. difficile infections, too.

I’m at church at once more. It seems on the fallback person for the third Saturday rosary procession and breakfast. We really need to get more worker bees to help out the rosary center officers on days like this. I started my day off with painkillers, and I skipped Mass so that I could set up the breakfast and the coffee for everybody. Probably a good thing, since kneeling is the last thing I need to do today.

The violent contempt the Left has for Elon Musk proves their childish immaturity. They always require a big, bad Boogeyman on which to focus their infantile anger. Leftists have always been the incorrigible juvenile delinquents of history.

Musk has $400 billion and he could sell off or shut down Tesla tomorrow with little personal damage. The people hurt by bombing Tesla dealerships and charging stations are the regular rank-and-file salaried employees. The Left doesn’t care about them anyway; they’re just collateral damage in the Marxist march through Western institutions.

The left’s protests are always nothing more than virtue signaling. The trouble is that their “signaling” causes actual harm to others, whether they agree with the kiddies or not.

This Day in History Five Years Ago:

WASHINGTON — The government’s top infectious disease expert said Sunday he would like to see aggressive measures such as a 14-day national shutdown that would require Americans to hunker down even more to help slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Still, Dr. Anthony Fauci said travel restrictions within the United States, such as to and from hard-hit Washington state and California, probably will not be needed anytime soon.

Fauci, the public face of the administration’s messaging during a round of morning TV interviews, said the country should do as much as “we possibly could,” even if officials are criticized for “overreacting.” He said he raised the issue of measures such as a shutdown with the Trump administration, and said it has been open to his ideas.

The center-right Demokraatit party pulled off a stunning upset victory, capturing nearly 30% of the vote compared to just 9% in 2021. This pro-independence party’s platform aligns with Trump’s vision of a Greenland that determines its own future—the first necessary step toward potential partnership with America.

    plus,

Naleraq politician Qupanak Olsen, whose party favors swift independence, acknowledged that Trump’s interest had helped their cause by making Greenlanders “aware we are worth more than what the Danish people have been telling us for the last 300 years.” This recognition of Greenland’s true value represents a significant shift in thinking that could eventually lead to closer ties with America.

If the NAACP had even an ounce of credibility, it is long gone now.

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — The I.C. Norcom student and track star who faces an assault and battery charge after her baton struck and injured another runner during a track race last week reiterated Thursday that the incident did not happen on purpose and thanked people for supporting her and believing in her.

“Thank you all for supporting me,” said I.C. Norcom track star Alaila Everett through tears during a community meeting and rally to support her. “There’s nobody else who wanted to hear my story except for people that know me and people that know I would never do anything like that. I would never harm anybody. I’m not a fighter. I’m not confrontational. I wouldn’t even do that on purpose.”

    and,

Boyd said that the Portsmouth NAACP would continue to stand by Everett and her family and will continue to meet with the Lynchburg NAACP leaders.

    How it started…

Mugambe was a fellow housed within Columbia University’s Institute for the Study of Human Rights, whose fellows work to “address some aspect of a history of gross human rights violations in their society, country, and/or region,” in 2017.

    How it ended…

A United Nations judge was convicted on Thursday of trafficking a young woman to the United Kingdom and forcing her to work as a slave.

Ugandan judge Lydia Mugambe, 49, “exploited and abused” the victim, prosecutors said, forcing her to work as an unpaid maid and caregiver while barring her from seeking other employment.

I’ve been posting about this ActBlue outfit recently and their years of money laundering for Democratic candidates at the federal and state level. They have been the sleazy bank for every Democratic campaign across the country. There are others like Arabella Advisors and Tidelands.

During a Thursday interview with independent journalist Benny Johnson, Rep. James Comer (R-KY), Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, revealed that the Treasury Department has received hundreds of suspicious activity reports (SARs) from banks regarding ActBlue’s transactions. Comer stated that his committee is “investigating ActBlue the same way we investigated the Bidens. We’re starting with the suspicious activity reports—bank violations that flag financial crimes. And let me tell you, the evidence is overwhelming.”

Comer first requested the SARs last summer, but all of his requests before the election were met with silence from then-Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen.

Following the election, Yellen allowed “a few of [his] staffers” to review the SARs. Comer noted there were “several hundred suspicious activity reports from various banks. We got to look at 12 of them. I can tell you, they were bad. They were exactly what we suspected.”

“We requested to see more, but they cut us off,” he added.

    I missed this bombshell story.

Washington, D.C. — In a surprising judicial decision at 07:13 AM on February 10, 2025, Federal District Judge Hugh Jassole has put the brakes on former President Donald J. Trump’s attempt to make America great again, citing that it’s unconstitutional to do so.

Judge Jassole issued an injunction, arguing that the the newly formed “Department of Government Efficiency” (DOGE)’s mission to streamline government operations was unconstitutional due to its “excessive productivity.”

    and,

The DOGE plan, which had garnered attention from those tired of bureaucratic inefficiencies, aimed to revolutionize public administration through the use of cutting-edge technology and a no-nonsense approach. Critics, however, feared it would lead to a dystopian state where efficiency overshadowed civil liberties. “We can’t have government workers working efficiently; where would the chaos come from?” remarked an anonymous bureaucrat, clearly distressed at the idea of streamlined processes.

I remember my mom talking about having to dust every single day living in Lubbock, of course as a kid I never noticed. In later years my sister and her boyfriend, now husband, driving up there to meet my grandparents in his brand new Ford F250 and his hood got sandblasted in a dust storm. As BSue mentioned last night, my stepdad talked about having rain during a sandstorm, making a muddy mess everywhere.

I had to go to West Texas for some business and on the way back around Abilene I hit a really turbulent sandstorm. They had sold out of everything but the large eggs. It seems they have a bunch of new chickens and the older ones who make the misfits are gone. I also went to get some groceries and then by Hobby Lobby to get fabric. Of course I ended up buying other stuff.

Once I got home I unloaded the groceries and started cooking the two chickens I bought. Them I had to lay down because… back.

    President Trump

on Friday signed an executive order that aims to eliminate seven federal agencies, including ones that focus on media, libraries, museums and ending homelessness. The president directed the government entities “be eliminated to the maximum extent consistent with applicable law,” insisting they “reduce the performance of their statutory functions and associated personnel.” It ordered the heads of each entity submit a report to the Office of Management and Budget confirming full compliance within seven days.

The president targeted the U.S. Agency for Global Media, which is the parent company of Voice of America’s (VOA), as well as the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in the Smithsonian Institution, which is a think tank, and the Institute of Museum and Library Services, which is an agency that supports libraries, archives and museums in every state.

Trump should offer to drop all the tariffs on Canada in exchange for Alberta. It would be one helluva deal.

Amid the growing tariff war, the bubbling secession movement is gaining speed.

At a recent makeshift ceremony, Alberta local Dan Casselman swore an oath renouncing his allegiance to Canada in favor of the US, citing his fears his home nation is ‘doomed’.

At the heart of many of so-called 51st Staters gripes is anger over the way they feel Alberta’s oil industry has been both demonized and exploited by liberals.

    and then this insult,

The province provides 56 percent of all US oil imports and is the richest in Canada with a GDP per capita.

But measures brought in under former Primer Minister Justin Trudeau‘s father Pierre Trudeau mean that the $2 billion of profits are redistributed to French speaking Quebec and left-leaning Ontario.

The younger Trudeau also pursued green energy targets at the expense of the oil industry which many Albertans feel is a mistake.

‘All we’re doing is saying we want this, yeah, we accept President Trump’s offer,’ Alberta native Peter Downing told the Telegraph.

Jennifer Sey was being groomed to be the CEO of Levi Strauss. At least she was until she publicly called for schools to open during Covid shutdowns. As the mother of several children she saw the damage being done. Because Sey had the courage to speak out, she was harassed, isolated and forced out of her senior executive position.

You see, I loved my old life and I’d spent more than 3 decades building it and it was taken from me because I dared say “open the public schools.” Yes, it was taken from me by a bunch of psychotic covid alarmists and authoritarian censors. Which was almost everyone. I’ll never forgive them. I don’t care what they say about letting go of anger and how it poisons you to hold it. Those who targeted and cancelled dissenters deserve for our rage to be trained on them. They deserve it and I hold it in a place, I make room for it to exist, while building joy around it with my family, my new city, my new start up, my new friends. But it’s there, make no mistake.

I don’t really know what to say about it all. I’ve written extensively on the subject, even a book — about what it was like to dissent from the outset. I feel tinges of rage at prominent “heterodox-ers” who now, or perhaps 2-3 years into it all, pretend at dissent. We needed you then.

This is almost laughable. Five years later the New York Times decides to publish an opinion piece about how “we were all misled” about the Wuhan lab leak. We weren’t misled – we were flat out lied to and public officials conspired to cover it up.

Media figures now wonder why the public not only distrusts health officials and the medical/pharmaceutical industries, but exhibit outright hostility towards them. Anything here remind you of the 51 spooks who signed the letter claiming Hunter’s laptop was a Russian trick ?

Yet in 2020, when people started speculating that a laboratory accident might have been the spark that started the Covid-19 pandemic, they were treated like kooks and cranks. Many public health officials and prominent scientists dismissed the idea as a conspiracy theory, insisting that the virus had emerged from animals in a seafood market in Wuhan, China. And when a nonprofit called EcoHealth Alliance lost a grant because it was planning to conduct risky research into bat viruses with the Wuhan Institute of Virology — research that, if conducted with lax safety standards, could have resulted in a dangerous pathogen leaking out into the world — no fewer than 77 Nobel laureates and 31 scientific societies lined up to defend the organization.

WASHINGTON — The biggest housing provider for unaccompanied migrant children nabbed billions of dollars in grants from the Biden administration — and used the massive windfall to boost and even double some executives’ salaries, according to tax filings and records exclusively obtained by The Post.

Southwest Key Programs pulled down roughly $3 billion in federal taxpayer funds between fiscal years 2021 and 2024, according to data compiled by the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), to help shelter and place migrant kids with US sponsors as border crossings hit an all-time high under President Joe Biden.

    and,

Anselmo Villarreal, who became the group’s president and CEO in February 2021, was paid $491,642 over the course of that first fiscal year — but saw his compensation skyrocket to $1,174,551 by fiscal year 2023.

    this seemed to go nowhere,

The original court dismissed the defamation case, but the plaintiff won on appeal and now Maxine Waters has finally agreed to a deposition this month. A trial date has been set for April.

Los Angeles, Ca – Former U.S. Navy veteran Joe Collins, a 2020 congressional candidate, filed a defamation lawsuit against Congresswoman Maxine Waters. He claims that during the 2020 House race for California’s 43rd District, she made false claims. These claims damaged his military service and reputation.

Collins, who ran as a challenger to the long-serving congresswoman, claims that Waters’ campaign spent significant resources on marketing and advertising. They falsely accused him of being dishonorably discharged from the Navy. Collins has consistently said these statements are completely false. They were meant to tarnish his reputation and credibility among voters in the district.

This is not entirely accurate. She had sex with a few men and then they killed themselves.

Oh my goodness! I’m sure that was great. About the premium beef, I sent my Boy and SIL “CARE” packages of Omaha Steaks from Taste of Texas for Christmas but there is no way I’d purchase them for myself. Daddy grew up dirt poor and the fruit doesn’t fall far form the tree. 😉

Five Republican Minnesota state senators are set to introduce a bill tomorrow that would classify “Trump Derangement Syndrome” (TDS), which they define as an “acute onset of paranoia” regarding the presidencies of Donald Trump, as a mental illness, according to state documents.

    and,

The five co-sponsors, state Senators Glenn Gruenhagen, Justin Eichorn, Nathan Wesenberg, Steve Drazkowski, and Eric Lucero say that TDS should be added to the definition of mental illness and incorporated into the state’s legal definition through amended statutes.

The Republican legislators write that symptoms may include “Trump-induced general hysteria, which produces an inability to distinguish between legitimate policy differences and signs of psychic pathology in President Donald J. Trump’s behavior.”

Old Radio Porn; Here is a picture that I found on-line of the old Telefunken AM/SW/FM Radio that my Dad got from a Fort Rucker Solider. Notice the green tuning eye in the upper right grill cloth area. You could see yourself in the highly polished wood cabinet.
