The Peter Principle Presidency

What happens when you combine Affirmative Action with the Peter Principle? Barack Obama becomes president.

Peter Principle – In a hierarchy, every employee tends to rise to his level of incompetence.

In any government structure, the Peter Principle is amplified. Think of the classic example of the DMV. People who would normally be fired for utter incompetence remain employed. Another example would be public school teachers who can’t teach. Typically they’re promoted into school administration.
But how does a mediocre student become a “community organizer”, a mediocre state senator, a mediocre U.S. Senator, then the president of the most powerful nation on Earth? Normally his level of incompetence would probably be someplace like Congress. Clearly he rose to his level of incompetence a long time ago so why is he the President of the United States? Affirmative Action.
So what do you do when you’ve risen past your level of incompetence? Get it while you can. Steve McCann of American Thinker explains:

The portrait of Barack Obama’s presidency is that of an egocentric — not only incapable of leadership, but someone who views the office as a vehicle for the satisfaction of his delusion that the world not only owes him a living, but a sumptuous one.
A trait common to many who espouse socialism, inclusive of dictators and Democrats, is an insatiable appetite for self-indulgence. While those on the conservative side of the political spectrum are often accused of hypocrisy when it comes to matters of sex and morality, those on the left are equally guilty, if not more so, in matters of money, paying taxes, and lifestyle.
Regardless of the public image they may convey, Barack Obama and his wife never fail to take full advantage of a lifestyle that would be the envy of any modern-day monarch while the bulk of the American populace struggles to afford life’s necessities.

Unfortunately, we Americans suffer.

You know Obummer took advantage of affirmative action because what other president gets elected without being vetted. There were also traces of the “race” card mixed in. We have a president who is dependent on others mainly via his teleprompter to tell him what to do and what to say. He does not lead by example and demands respect that… Read more »

I think you are much too generous in your praise of The Chosen One. In this case, I think it just boils down to DNA – coupled of course with the rest of the ideas you mention above. But, justice will be served, at least so long an Moochelle continues to hang around. Just like Hillary (and I presume most… Read more »
