Dang, now I’m looking at Traeger pellet grills. They have a smaller one called the Tailgater I might consider later on. Right now, I have too many other things to think about though. My daughter in Oregon has the Traeger Ranger model and loves it, but it’s a bit small for me.

My propane oven/smoker burner burned out a couple years ago, parts not available. I finally got around to rigging up an extra burner I had laying around, it was way easier than I figured, don’t know why I put it off so long. Love that thing, you can easily control the temps and gives a nice smoke with the wood… Read more »
Memphis style dry rub ribs with some deer sausage and HEB sausage be ready in about an hour. Wife has HEB Charro beans going and HEB tater salad. Neighbor friends and son and his galfriend coming over.
Got my gardening done. Today’s efforts: more green beans, one tomato (a few more to come in soon), trimming the yellow leaves, and putting up some shade over some of the tubs. I mentioned the fish fry yesterday so here’s a picture, Bass N Bream, fries, coleslaw and hush puppies.Dang fine eating right there. My sister brought her outstanding coleslaw and also helped me fry up the fish.She battered them up to toss into the hot oil.

I don’t feel much like cooking, though I have some ribs and coals. I think I’m going to pull some cooked ribs out of the freezer for Hubby.
