Good Friday is always a sad day when one takes time to think about it and remembers how we learned about it as kids growing up as Christians. The promise of Easter Sunday is joyfully fulfilled on that day. The older you get, the more you understand what it means.
The Cougars were already short-handed.
To lose Shead to injury in this game was a killer.
He was Big 12 Player of the year and also Big 12 Defensive Player of the year.
@5:15pm Jersey boss man Stan. I really don’t care what all the kangarooed penguins write in all their legalese mumbo jumbo bs decisions. i think they basically said it’s not an invasion because they aren’t armed. how do those dumb cluck penguins know that? Guess they didn’t see the video from El Paso the other day. so using their logic… Read more »

Attention: Dr Phil Good RE: Texas SB4 and Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals I know most people have no patience for the procedural process of the appellate law in America. Oh and the most shocking advice was when you take the boiled eggs off of the heat – and before you plunge them into ice water – go ahead and crack them with a utensil handle right away. Oh and since my wife can’t start the push mower that she uses around her flower beds and in areas where the big mower won’t go, I got her a RMA 460 battery powered mower and it works very good. It’s also real quiet.
I told her this would be her Mother’s day gift and she loves it.
The local Auto parts place that sells Stihl products had their big spring sale, Mar 28,29, & 30 so I broke down and got me a MS 391 with a 25″ bar. 64 CC, 4.4 HP, 3/8″ chain, weighing a little less than 14 Lbs….Gumbi Dammit. 😉
I finally got back out there to finish the 40% of the mowing that I just couldn’t finish the other day.
I decided to re-mow the entire job.
Looks good.
Brenham had this really neat Appliance and Mower parts house run by this older couple for many years. It was actually situated in an old house. Morning, y’all! It was chilly outside when I fed Billy Cat.It would be nice to know if he ever had a home. I’ve been feeding him in the back yard for a year now, and he is still terrified of me if I get too close to him.

Everything old is new. As noted by The Verge on Tuesday, US music fans purchased around 43 million vinyl records in 2023, about 6 million more than total CD sales last year.
