Alina Kabaeva, Retired Russian Gymnast, Russian Politician

Ms. Kabaeva may or may not be married to Vladimir Putin. Reports indicate he sired her three children. She reportedly spends most of her time at a nice place in Switzerland.

Perhaps Tucker asked him about her.

The parts guy story was a joke I saw on an equipment mechanics FB group I’m on. It’s funny because you can see it happening. It was common to go to the parts store to pick up parts for a forklift or whatever that used some automative part like a start solenoid or electric fuel pum, of course the guy… Read more »

When Skittles are freeze dried, most of them split their shells along a midline and the white insides puff out.  Some of them don’t, though, and little spindle of white stuff comes out of a  hole and falls/curves over. I’m calling them “skittle worms”. Because “skittle penis” just sounds rude. For someone on a keto diet, smelling all of that… Read more »

Finally slowed down enough to pop back in.  The legs are tahrred, and the back ain’t fer b’hind. I’m about to pull out my first batch of candy.  I’m setting up some for the car club’s trip, and I’ll probably set some aside for Hubby and Handsome Son, who’ll be here on Sunday. Shannon @ 6:06 PM I remember Steve McMichael. On April 23, 2021, McMichael announced that he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). In the announcement, he also confirmed that he would be retiring from making public appearances going forward. The announcement came six months after one of McMichael’s contemporaries in the NFL, former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle and broadcaster… Read more »

36 GJT The parts guy at Oreilly’s said he needs a cereal break before he could look up parts for my car. I have been warning you folks about the infantilization of America for years and now it has come about at the lowly parts counter of O’Reilly’s Auto Parts. #31 Texpat that’s a pretty good story. and it’s eerie to think that the second quake hit on the anniversary of the first one.

Oh and I 😀 at this;

That was my California earthquake experience, in a bikini factory, 52 years ago today.

28 Super Dave It’s funny you bring that up. On this day, February 9th, 1971, Los Angeles was hit with the Sylmar Earthquake that collapsed buildings, destroyed multiple hospitals and crumbled dams, bridges and freeways.  It was devastating and miraculous only 64 people were killed in a region where millions lived. I arrived nine months later in November of 1971… Read more »

America’s B-1 bomber teaches Iran a firepower lesson Friday’s strikes were just a taste of what the B-1s can unleash On Friday, strikes by U.S. Air Force B-1 bombers demolished 85 aimpoints at four Iran proxy militia target areas in Syria and three in Iraq. The major fundamentals driving inflation here are fuel, energy costs and food.  Cheaper Chinese goods in Walmart and Target won’t be making a significant dent in domestic inflation. I would say the major driver is the bazillion bucks pumped into economy because of Kung-flu. It shows most in goods that are absolute necessities the most.  Increasing fuel/energy costs drives the… Read more »

This makes a lot more sense from Bloomberg.  Chinese investors dumping commercial real estate in major urban markets will help inflation some in the US, but it could very well hasten the real estate crisis I’ve been predicting by depressing rental rates even further. This is from Financial Times and I take everything they say with a dose of skepticism.
