This is what’s headed our way if we don’t stop it now:

Canadian Woman Offered MAID services instead of cancer treatment

Amy Judd and Kylie Stanton reported for Global News on November 27 that a BC woman who was diagnosed with abdominal cancer was offered MAiD (euthanasia) rather than treatment was successfully treated in the US.

She was seeking treatment for her abdominal pain and got put on a “we’ll call you later” list for scans and tests.  The pain eventually became so intense that she ended up in emergency care, where they found Stage 4 cancer.  (Her mother had died of cancer.)

Her family doctor told her that ‘with this type of cancer, they usually do a procedure called HIPEC, which involves delivering high doses of chemotherapy into the abdomen to kill the cancer cells.

The article states that a surgeon with BC Cancer told her that:

“Chemotherapy is not very effective with this type of cancer, …It only works in about 50 per cent of the cases to slow it down. And you have a life span of what looks like to be two months to two years.

The Surgeon told her to talk to her family and get her affairs in order and asked her if she wanted medical assistance in dying (euthanasia).

That’s right: her doctor was pushing her to kill herself.  She declined the offer and ended up getting treated in Boston.  Her story ends well: she is hale, hearty, and full of life.  She is, however, trying to deal with the medical bills.

Before going ahead with treatment ‘she called BC Cancer to ask how long it might be to see the oncologist and was told it could be weeks, months, or longer, they had no idea.’

Ducluzeau is doing well now and thanks the team at Mercy Medical Center for their care. She told the reporters:

“I feel 100 per cent,” she said. “Some days even better. There is nothing that I did before I got sick that I can’t do now. I mean, I can ride my bike 15 kilometres and go have dinner with friends and ride home afterwards. I can golf 18 holes without feeling tired. I started running again and I haven’t run for 10 years.”

She said she was back at work a month after having her surgery. But the financial burden is still weighing heavily on her.

Ducluzeau is trying to get her medical bills paid by the BC Ministry of Health but she received a letter from the BC Cancer Agency stating:

“the services you chose to receive in the U.S. would not have been the recommended treatment for your cancer diagnosis.”

I guess euthanasia (MAiD) was the preferred treatment in BC because that is all Ducluzeau was actually offered.

She is trying  to make the best of her new lease on life.  She has married the love of her life on a beach in Hawaii.  “I’m calling this my bonus round and I’m just trying to find joy in every day.”

36 Squawk Where are they getting the money ? I’ve been asking this for years. Where are all these poor, destitute Middle Easterners, Africans and Chinese people getting the money to buy plane tickets to Venezuela, Ecuador, Colombia or Panama ?  They have to have some money to survive, buy food and possibly pay some bribes as trek from down… Read more »

A bit of trivia for you music buffs.

If you watch the video closely you see Joe Perry flip the bird at S Tyler @ about the 1:45 mark.

they didn’t like each other much at this point in their careers.

The Drugs took em over.

but they still kicked tail on stage with their rock and raw.

The hard left totalitariancrat are dictators and much worse.

But you knew that already.

they and the scum bucket media always accuse Trump and everyone else of what they already are and have been doing for decades.

37 Dr Phil Good Watching that video once again of Gohmert dissecting and field dressing Robert Mueller like an old turkey was very depressing.  To think Mueller was the Director of the FBI only a few years previous.  It’s scary because that man had no more comprehension of what is going on than Joe Biden does most of the time.… Read more »

If Trump the dictator will open up the oil & gas industry, close the borders, stop the climate change idiocy, reform the FBI and DOJ and cut taxes, he might become the most popular tyrant of the 21st century.

I have no idea what Trump will be in his second term.  He may try to become a dictator, who knows ? All I said was no matter what he does, no matter how strictly he follows the Constitution,  Trump will be accused of being a dictator.  If he tries to become a dictator, then all those yelling about it… Read more »

I think Trump said he wants to be dictator for day because he wanted to troll the satanic propagandist media and it worked. but more importantly he wants to be able to collude with Putin and Russia again so he can steal the 2024 election. That will then make it possible for Ferris Mueller to star in the sequel, Russian… Read more »

Whether it qualifies as trademark infringement is a matter of opinion.

I think it may be close enough to win the case for Taylor.

Personally, I would have demanded something more original.

Taylor has the deepest pockets to hire the best lawyers in the country.

I don’t know why y’all don’t get it.  Trump is a totalitarian madman.  This proves it.  When President-elect Joe Biden is sworn into office on Jan. 20, a traditional element that once illustrated a peaceful transfer of power between presidential administrations will be missing: the outgoing president. Well, I ran some errands and put in some new AC/Heater filters, getting ready for the winter checkup on Friday. Made a start on clearing off the driveway again, covered with zillions of leaves and some sort of nuts that are falling off this autumn from a tree in 80-y.o.’s yard.
