It’s a brunette Friday and I’d say that it’s a Good-Un. I’ll admit I didn’t know her name but I do recognize her face.
It’s Friday! Gateway to the weekend, not sure what I’m up to today but the weather sure is nice so there’s that.
Mornin’ Gang

Good morning.
OU sucks.

Back Atcha’ Shannon.
BTW; First good cup of coffee I’ve had in a week. 😉 -
Scientists discover dog with two A……. 😀
Disclaimer; One naughty word.

How about a blonde? Sally Kellerman, the original “Hot Lips” Houlihan, from the MASH movie.

Sarah is completely freaked by the cone. She won’t walk, drink, pee, poop, or eat with it on.
I took it off and she did all but poop. Outside. Then she ran into my office and jumped on my massage table.
I put it back on and she barely moves.
I don’t think she is going to go 7-10 days with the cone.

Trying to wake up with my coffee in hand, waiting for Hubby to take me to the doctor about my knee. Of course, today is the best it’s felt in a long time, but I’m not falling for it.
I’m still going to the doc.

I don’t trust radiocarbon dating much, but this is an interesting story:
Scientists say they’ve confirmed evidence that humans arrived in the Americas far earlier than previously thought

If you needed yet one more reason not to fly, here it is:
America’s biggest airlines ground planes as they launch desperate search for THOUSANDS of jet engine parts sold with fake safety certificates
The aviation industry has been rocked by reports thousands of jet-engine parts with fraudulent safety certificates have been installed onto passenger planes.
Major airlines including American Airlines, United Airlines and Southwest Airlines have pulled jets from their fleets as investigations into the potentially catastrophic faults are ongoing.
The scandal has zeroed in on a dubious airplane parts supplier named AOG Technics, which allegedly mass-produced fake safety certificates in order to sell its engine parts to airlines.

He had all of that digital evidence, and yet…
Mike Lindell admits he is ‘broke’ as MyPillow attorneys say he owes them ‘millions’ in unpaid fees for defending him in election defamation lawsuits
Well, the left has managed to destroy one. They are working on Trump.

Well, we survived the first post-op nite and early morning with Shortie – she seems to not be in a lot of discomfort – but then again – she wants to lick… Guess we’ll see how it goes when she gets more awake… but I do believe she enjoyed going “walkies” with cooler air outdoors. I KNOW I DID!!!!
Tedtam – prayers for answers (or at least the right questions) about your knee. I would highly recommend Osteo-Bi-Flex (or the store equivalent) but guess I ought to let your doc do that. I used to get injections with “Syn-Visc” or the equivalent every 6 months but have not done so for years – and rarely have too much problem – after having gotten the meniscus tear that sent me to the Ortho Doc to begin with dealt with… and a diagnosis of osteoarthritis in both knees – well over 10 years ago.

Tedtam #10
Lindell brought a pillow to a gun fight. He annoys me but I hate to see this happen to him.

I’m probably not telling y’all anything, but if you aren’t already, keep a close eye on your credit reports. A week ago today someone started attempting to take out auto loans in my name. I noticed the hard inquiries showing up in my reports. The person (or people) trying to do this likely got my information from a data breach of (ironically) Equifax, which is one of the major credit reporting agencies. If you don’t jump on these ID theft problems early, they will become much bigger problems later. The prevalence of fraud (along with other types of crime) is definitely on the rise. Beware.

That ain’t right. If anyone gets to be The Dooood I wanna be The Dooood.

Doc suspects ligament damage in the knee, so now I gotta make an orthopedist appointment.
And crutches. Lots of crutching in my future. Even if the knee feels good, gotta crutch. I guess my cardio program is toast.
While Hubby and I were sitting in the pharmacy drive through waiting for the stronger naproxyn sodium prescription, I got a call from Green Cousin’s brother (of sorts). He and his wife are going up to see GC and Beta. He starts out by telling me where GC is going to be buried…
I almost lost it. I thought something had happened since last night. He had to reassure me that she was still alive, but that he was just letting me know that the arrangements had been put in place. I know it’s going to be inevitable, as it is for us all, but I really wasn’t in a good place to receive that kind of news.

I expect a strong tongue lashing from Mr Haney will be administered to the head of the FIBbers, in front of the cameras, in the not too distant future but in the end Haney will end up 0-714 in the results dept.

Morning, gang! Chilly air in my back yard! About time, ya know.
I was pleased to see Billy Cat asleep in the gazebo, which puts him in a safe place, where he can see when I have his meals ready. I have hoped for him to do that since I first saw him in my back yard this Spring.

I expect a tongue lashing in front of the cameras will be coming from Mr Haney to the summoned head of the FIBbers pretty soon but in the end his record will be 0-714 in the results dept.

It is becoming ever more clear to me that the leftists in control of the government are trying real hard to provoke an armed response to their serial constitutional violations.
May they reap what they are sowing 1000 fold.

Not much traffic on The Net today…

Voting Machine BS
I admit to not following closely the lawsuits filed by Dominion and Smartmatic. I still do not understand why these suits are holding up in court when almost all defamation claims are dismissed in the courts. What makes these companies so special ? The criticism of the integrity of voting machines is voluminous and I haven’t seen them suing anybody else besides Fox, Lindell and a couple of lawyers.
Back during the Bush administration, Diebold made voting machines and the CEO was The Devil and all the employees were the Devils’ apprentices. The Diebold machines were all rigged and made in a secret underground warehouse on The Ranch in Crawford. It was the only reason Bush beat Al Gore and John Kerry because everybody knows how intelligent those two are. I am sure Diebold never sued anybody even though those people have tails and horns growing out of their head.

The anesthesia has worn off of Sarah and she seems to not be so terrified of the cone.
My son and his 90 lb pit bull just moved in with us. That big dog is so sweet and gentle. Sarah wants to jump all over him and he seems to think that is a good idea.

12 Squawk
Truer words were never spoken.
Mike Lindell is a sincere, naive guy who dove headfirst into the Swamp full of crocodiles and water moccasins. The man never had a chance and could barely swim.
Mike would have been just fine if he had quietly kept running his company and funding good candidates.

I’ve been worried for some time about how much the major oil & gas companies are caving to the pressure from the Left to fundamentally dismantle the energy sector infrastructure built to sustain a fossil fuel future.
There are the rumors and references to O&G companies investing in various “renewable technologies”. However, this is great news if Exxon will actively work the properties which I suspect they will be forced to do by their stockholders and Wall Street.
In a deal that would be transformational for the US energy sector, and spark another shale revolution, the WSJ writes that US supermajor, the largest US energy E&P and formerly the world’s largest company by market cap, Exxon – the company that according to the Big Guy made more money than God in 2021, is closing in on a deal to shale giant Pioneer Natural Resources, a blockbuster takeover that could be worth roughly $60 billion and reshape the U.S. oil industry.
The deal, which the WSJ first leaked back in April and has described as “seismic” (metaphorically but also literally, ha ha) could be sealed in the coming days, though it is still possible there won’t be one, sources told the Journal.
After posting a record profit in 2022, and flush with cash, Exxon has been exploring options that would push it deeper into West Texas shale. An acquisition of Pioneer, with a market cap of around $50 billion, would be Exxon’s largest deal since its megamerger with Mobil in 1999, and would give Exxon a dominant position in the oil-rich Permian Basin, a region the oil giant has said is integral to its growth plans.

I managed to make dinner tonight, but when Hubby got home he has tried to keep me off my feet. When I am visibly uncomfortable, he asks what he can do, which is nothing. I just gotta gut it up and offer it up. I can tell he wishes he had a magic wand.
The dude loves me, God bless ‘im. I’m blessed to have him.

I came into my office and I’d left the little TV on so on Ch 4-2 they had the game of the week. Our own Carroll High is tied with Eufaula 31-31 in the third quarter. And we’re playing at home. Dang I kinda’ wish I’d have gone to the game.

Texpat I’d almost forgot about Diebold and that three ring circus.
And yes I feel for Mike Lindell, his problem is that he thought he had freedom of speech.

#31 Super Dave,
Sadly, your comment nails what happened to Mike Lindell from the hateful socialist side masquerading as old- fashioned Democrats. A pox on their houses.
