Wednesday Guilty As Hell Open Comments

WASHINGTON — Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic Chairman Brad Wenstrup (R-Ohio) revealed new allegations that Dr. Fauci went to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Headquarters to “influence” its COVID-19 origins investigation. This revelation comes on the heels of recently acquired whistleblower testimony alleging that the CIA potentially skewed its COVID-19 origins review by offering six analysts significant financial incentives to conclude that the result of its investigation was inconclusive. Dr. Fauci’s questionable presence at the CIA, coupled with recently uncovered evidence that he, Dr. Fauci, “prompted” the drafting of “Proximal Origin” — the infamous paper that was used to attempt to “disprove” the lab leak theory — lends credence to heightened concerns about the promotion of a false COVID-19 origins narrative by multiple federal government agencies.

Chairman Wenstrup is seeking all documents and communications related to Dr. Fauci’s access to CIA facilities and CIA employees as it relates to these allegations. Also, after becoming aware of additional information, the Select Subcommittee is requesting Special Agent Brett Rowland appear for a transcribed interview regarding Dr. Fauci’s purported movements to and from the CIA. As mounting evidence continues to imply that federal government officials covered-up the origins of COVID-19, investigating any improper influence will ensure future accountability of not only the intelligence community, but also public health officials.

And of course nothing will come of it. I’ve been out walking and am impressed at how they added these hotels on the island without disturbing a lot of the old Live Oaks. Even though this place is built up everywhere it still has a rustic feel about it. FWIW; One of the new Golf Courses is literally located out in a marsh with fairway running through it. If you’re wondering how they got this past the EPA, it’s called money. If you disturb 1 acre of wetlands, you have to replace it with 2 acres. That’s what they had to do at Harborwalk @ Bayou Vista near Tiki Island.

A veteran posted this yesterday about what was happening in downtown Philadelphia.

    It is sickening and infuriating.

This happened 5 minutes from the Liberty Bell and right down the street from where the founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia. This is what liberalism has done to our country

    and,

Mass looting is being reported all over Philadelphia tonight. There are accounts of Center City stores being cleaned out by looters, including Lululemon, the Apple Store, a Foot Locker near the Liberty Bell, and many others:

Now that is a great picture. What do you bet that Biden won’t get his vote this time? FWIW; I bet he voted for him last time. Also I’m betting that this little Pony Show, orchestrated by the Biden team, will get the Union Boss’ endorsement, after all he cares nothing about his members and is a diehard Democrat Communist. ~SPITS~

When you show kindness and compassion to the criminal and cruel, you will inevitably rain criminality and cruelty on the kind and compassionate.

Texpat 0756:  Your linkage shows clearly that my statement above is true.  When the masses of looters show up, the only way to make it stop is with masses of high velocity hot lead.  Unless and until there is death, pain, and legal consequences like prison this sort of thing will continue.  Is a store owner no longer permitted to defend his property against theft and destruction?

Affirmative action started 50 years ago; when is enough really enough?  Remove all race/sex based preferences and let merit reign as the only means for advancement.  The notion that somehow we still need to coddle minorities after 50 years of preferential treatment is beyond absurd; it is an insult to the decency and integrity of the individual.

If ‘diversity and equity’ were so righteous, why then do we have to keep lowering standards to achieve it?

I’m so far in Stephen Kruiser’s camp on the terrifying specter of Michelle Obama leaping into the 2024 nomination at the last minute.  I don’t think she will do it and neither does Stephen.

Until now, the popular choice among prognosticators for the role of Savior of the Democrats has been California Gov. Gavin Newsom. There has been a contingent insisting that Michelle Obama would be the one on the white horse, though. They’ve been hanging around in the background until now. Then Ted Cruz went and pushed her to the front of the line, which Ben wrote about yesterday.

    and then this,

The money is, of course, a heavy deciding factor here, but so is something I heard when His High Holiness the Lightbringer was leaving office that I truly believe. A good friend of mine who is a political junkie told me that she thinks the Obamas are motivated by being celebrities. That’s the dream for them.

    Bingo.

Politics feels to me like it was a means to an end for them. We live in a time when Washington politicians are hanging around long past their “best by” dates because they’re too addicted to the game to let it go. It’s often tough to believe that not every politician wants to stay a politician forever. The Obamas are Hollywood players now, that’s a pretty sweet gig.

I never thought Michelle wanted to be First Lady or liked being in the White House.  Most First Ladies seem to be in awe of the privilege with the exception of the BagWoman of Chappaqua who spent her 8 years there making lists of what she could steal when they were finally thrown out.  Michelle Obama always seemed to feel as if her role as the President’s wife was a burden and imposition.

Like Kruiser says, Michelle doesn’t really want a day job.  And Barack Obama told a reporter on the way out of the White House he wanted to be the first billionaire ex-president.

Given my batting average in predictions, don’t lay any bets on my opinions though.

I can easily see Gavin Newsom or even the bloated Pritzger as the D nominee.  I have a real hard time seeing Bidet or Heels up as the nominee.  EVERYONE knows Bidet is deep in dementia not to mention the corruption and that Kamala is too stupid to even consider.  Big Mike Obama is as toxic as Hitlery so neither of those has even a chance.

My prediction is the cheat will be even more outrageous in 2024 than it was in 2020 and the GOPeeeeeeeeeee will do nothing about it.  IF any law suits are brought up prior to the elections the judges will say that no harm has been done, if brought after the elections the judges will say it is too late.

I am slowly cleaning up the area behind the garage. It ended up with a lot of stuff stashed behind it, where there is 25′ of ground, “temporarily holding” dozens of old planters I had stored outside, and overgrown vines that came under and over the very high fence between Harpland and 80 Y.O.’s  backyard.

I am cutting down all the unwanted volunteer plant life, and disposing of it in the Thursday CoH trash bin pickups.

  21. Tedtam Avatar

Mharper puts her unwanted flora in the trash, I put it in my compost pile.  I make new plants out of it.

We have one of those “accumulator spots” behind our garage, too.  It was partially cleared out some years ago, but I think we still have a toilet – or the remains thereof – back there.

  22. Tedtam Avatar

And I sure get the “slowly” part.  It’s how I approached my dirt pile, years ago, and how I’m facing the mess upstairs.  It’ll get done, but when I’m good and ready.  I used to run 90 mph, 24/7, but not so much anymore.

    Good Afternoon Hamsters,

I again have the Visiting Nurse folks coming to the house to help with my recovery from the atrial fibrulation surgery 3 weeks ago.  That has stopped any hint of galloping horses running around in the atrium part of my heart, and all is blessedly quiet there at last.  As it should be.  My internist doc, cariologist doc, and cardiac surgeon agree that all is well now to continue with the physical therapy.  My internist asked me to hold his hands and squeeze them as hard as I could, a standard way to judge recovering strength.  So did the cardiac surgeon.  I did.  They were surprised at how hard I squeezed.  Actually, so was I. 🙂

All the years of riding horses has resulted in a goodly amount of muscle memory that still is available and does not forget.  That is a big help in getting back to where I was before all the cardiac stuff started.  The horses all are in endless green pastures now, that happen to be our pastures.

Speaking of things conveniently stashed behind the garage and mostly out of sight unless you go back that way, we had the same idea at our house in Houston.  Many neighbors around us had tall fences in their back yards that were great for privacy and keeping noise down.  We had installed several sections before any homes were built next to us and added more once the block we were in was full.  And so the odds and ends behind the garage slowly grew, but occasionally we searched for stuff we would never use again to put out with the trash.

    HEADLINE:

Dr. Birx Admits to Obfuscating Truth About Covid to Trump

Washington, D.C.: “It’s hard to keep track of all the lies our government has told us about Covid,” said Ed Martin, President of the Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Even worse, Dr. Deborah Birx’s new book tells us that lying was part of the Covid-19 response strategy from the very beginning.”

Dr. Birx, who served as part of the Trump administration’s Covid response team, has published a new book, Silent Invasion. It details the early days of the Covid response and her advisory role in the White House in early 2020.

Martin continued, “It’s astonishing that Birx admits that, because of the limited data the CDC had available, her recommendations were arbitrary and primarily based on speculation despite being presented as factual! To be clear, I’m not shocked that her advice wasn’t based on science, I’m shocked that she’s admitting it in print! She even goes as far as to mask it as ‘strategic sleight of hand.’

“This should tell you that the government thinks we’re too dumb to make our own decisions. They barely knew better than the rest of us what to do about Covid, yet their draconian lockdowns closed churches, tanked the economy, and forced Americans to miss the funerals of loved ones. These executive branch elites, including Dr. Birx, must be held accountable for their deception of President Trump and of We the People.”

For these admitted lies, she should be hung by the neck until dead.

I can’t tolerate the sanctimonious, arrogant Bill O’Reilly either and have been fed up with him for years.  Back when he got fired from Fox for harassing women who wanted nothing to do with the asshat, he started up his “Killing “fill in the blank” book series with some ghostwriters.  When he came out with “Killing Ronald Reagan” people who were there at the assassination attempt and afterwards came out of the woodwork publicly listing all the mistakes and deliberate lies in the book and O’Reilly refused to make any corrections.

Back in the early 2000s, O’Reilly was the biggest moneymaker at Fox and he had a hissy-fit over some high profile leftwinger and threatened Roger Ailes he would quit Fox if they didn’t sue the guy (I cannot remember who it was).  I ran into an attorney who had done work for Fox News and he told me the story.  He had advised them not to do it. Fox blew through most of a million bucks and ended up dropping the suit all the while being the laughingstock of the media world in NYC.

Also, every single time the price of oil went up, O’Reilly would come on the air and rant about the Big Oil Price Fixing Conspiracy of Big Oil in America.  I would hear him on the radio in my truck and want to take a baseball bat to the radio in the dash.

Laura Ingraham was talking to Doug Schoen, the veteran Democrat pollster (and honest man), the other night about the coming Republican debate.  Doug was a lifelong colleague, partner and close friend of the great Pat Caddell, the guy who invented modern political consulting who often made Hunter Thompson look mild-mannered.

Doug commented it was a little silly at this point to have 7 candidates up there when there are only three semi-viable ones.  Laura asked Schoen who would win the debate and he said, “Donald Trump”.

The sad stories out of Philadelphia about the riots and looting in the downtown area are personally depressing for me.  When I first came here in January 2003, one of my initial business meetings was scheduled in central downtown Philly.  It is in what they now call the City Center.  I was stunned to walk out of my hotel early on Saturday morning and find the streets packed with happy people, lots of families – children everywhere – and friendly folks of all ages.  Every store was open and the streets were amazingly clean. Restaurants and bars were bustling  and it was a safe and happy environment.  Sunday was even busier.  Try to imagine downtown Houston like that on a given Saturday or Sunday.

The people of Philadelphia and their government had worked very hard throughout the 1990s to clean and restore their town and they did an incredible job.  It didn’t last and eventually the responsible politicians, old time Democrats and Republicans, were forced out and the George Soros gangsters took over with the mayor, the police chief and the district attorney.

They have destroyed one of America’s most beautiful and historic cities.  May they all rot in hell for eternity.

I didn’t watch the last debate, but Her Highness convinced me to watch tonight.  I actually liked it without Trump and found it interesting.  It’s not that anybody has a real chance although I very much enjoyed the discussions of issues.

It didn’t bother me Tim Scott or any other candidate interrupted given the lousy format.  It’s a no-win deal.

My quick take:  Christie is a carnival clown.  Hailey cannot be trusted.  Pence is a sad loser.  Tim Scott has upped his debate game, but no winner.  Burgum is okay, but he keeps running against Biden who won’t even be there in 2024.  Vivek is still the best debater and speaker.  His presence fires everybody else up and raises their game.

Nobody else on that stage like De Santis has actually stood alone against the DNC machine, all the Hollywood celebrities, his  legislature, the national media, Disney and every tranny, child molester and pedophile in the nation and still managed to win on virtually every issue.

The only other current national conservative figure to do that is Donald Trump.

Trump and De Santis, and their supporters as well, may butt heads and despise one another, but they are the only two men in America to have stood alone in the arena and fought like gladiators to win.

Thank you all for the summaries of tonight’s debate.  Did not watch it and instead had a pleasant evening with spouse watching some historical programs covering the Inca, Aztec, Mixtec, and the earliest human societies in Central, North, and South America.  It is a long series covering that history in 48, yes 48, programs.  Good stuff that fills in many areas of interest that unfortunately my college course in the same early New World (to us) civilizations could not have covered this well as an introduction to archaeology in the Americas.  A whole lot happened before the Spaniards showed up….
