What a great Dust Bowl picture.
Well we’ve made another Friday and it looks like I missed some good topics yesterday. I need to find some time to stop by but I’ve been real busy this week.

Notice the ceiling.
I stumbled across a Packard Clipper Eight Sedan that was given to General Mac Arthur in 1942 that said it had all options including A/C. I knew that some Buicks and Oldsmobiles had a primitive A/C system mounted in the trunk, in the 50s’ but I had no idea that Packard was the first in 1940!
I learn something new every day. 😉

Fifty-one former drug counselors have signed a letter saying that Hunter Biden is not a drug addict.
BREAKING Rep. James Comer says six banks, including JP Morgan, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo, submitted over 170 suspicious activity reports to the Treasury Department regarding the Biden family, alleging their involvement in money laundering, human trafficking, and tax fraud.
The American banks also raised concerns about wire transfers received by the Bidens from foreign state-owned entities, notably from the Chinese government, allegedly for the purpose of money laundering and tax evasion.
The foreign wires were found to be directed towards Biden’s business associates before being funneled through 20 shell companies associated with the Bidens. Subsequently, the funds were distributed among various Biden family members.
SARs are vital documents that financial institutions must file with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) when they suspect any cases of money laundering or fraudulent activities.
Rep. Comer highlighted one specific SAR linked to a $3 million wire from China to Biden’s business partner, Rob Walker. This money was received in an inactive account that had maintained a $50,000 balance for ten years before the significant wire transaction from China.
Within just 24 hours of receiving the wire, Walker initiated incremental payments to several Biden shell companies, eventually disbursing funds to four different Biden family members.
Comer explained that concealing the source of money through the use of shell companies to deceive the IRS is considered money laundering and racketeering.
He noted that if the funds were intended for legitimate purposes, they could have been wired directly to Hunter Biden, but instead, they were routed through business partners and various companies with no clear legitimate purpose.
Senator Ted Cruz asked, “So the Chinese Communist government was sending the money?”
Rep. Comer replied, “Yes.”
“If Hunter Biden was doing something legitimate for China, they could have just wired the money to Hunter Biden, but they didn’t,” he explained.
“They sent it to a company called Robinson Walker. Then they wired it to a company called Owasco. Then they wired it to another company called Bohai. These companies don’t do anything with the money.”
Senator Cruz responded, “It’s just a bucket to pour the water in, then a bucket to pour it into somewhere else?”
Rep Comer said, “That’s exactly what it is and it was organized. This is like organized crime.”
When the corporate media foolishly asks where is the evidence that the Bidens committed crimes?
American banks have submitted hundreds of suspicious activity reports on the Biden family, alleging their involvement in human trafficking, money laundering, and tax fraud.
Congressional investigators have obtained bank account records and wire transfer statements on twenty shell companies owned by the Bidens, which were allegedly used for laundering illegally obtained money from China, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, and Kazakhstan as unregistered foreign agents.
This evidence is supported by hundreds of thousands of emails, tens of thousands of text messages, photographs, audio recordings, calendar statements, and ten years of data from Hunter Biden’s laptop, which the FBI took into its possession in 2019. @MarcoPolo501c3 published a comprehensive “Report on the Biden Laptop,” documenting 459 alleged crimes involving the Biden family and their associates, including 140 business crimes, 191 sex crimes, and 128 drug crimes.
A $1,000 reward is offered for any verifiable corrections, but thus far, no crimes have been disputed.
In addition, credible IRS whistleblowers have accused the Justice Department of obstructing the Hunter Biden investigation by blocking felony charges, search warrants, and interviews while preventing any investigation of the President and his family.
Furthermore, just yesterday, a judge highlighted an unprecedented lenient deal offered by the Justice Department to Hunter Biden, which would result in no felony charges or jail time for tax fraud and lying on a gun form.
This DOJ deal would have also granted protection to the First Son from any future prosecution related to illegally obtained money from foreign nations as an unregistered foreign agent.
What is more corrosive and destructive to our nation than a politicized Justice Department that applies different legal standards depending on whether one’s last name is Trump or Biden?
WTH happened to gas prices?! I gassed up yesterday and paid $3.44 a gallon. Now, I’ve not been driving a lot lately so the last time I gassed up was a couple of weeks ago and paid about $3.00. Thank you Joe Brandon!
SO! Did uncle Joe finally run out of the Strategic Reserve gas that he was using to try to lower the price of gas?

Don’t miss the video interview with Rep. Comer on the Ted Cruz podcast.
The Biden’s forget the people watched Ozark so we understand this laundering stuff.
From 2010-2015, Special Prosecutor Jack Smith was head of the Public Integrity Section of the DOJ when the media – worldwide – raised questions about Hunter Biden/Burisma.
One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut. After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber replied, “I cannot accept money from you, I’m doing community service this week”. The florist was pleased and left the shop. When the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a ‘thank you’ card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door.
Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, the barber again replied, “I cannot accept money from you, I’m doing community service this week.” The cop was happy and left the shop. The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a ‘thank you’ card and a dozen doughnuts waiting for him at his door.
Then a Member of Congress came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill, the barber again replied, “I cannot accept money from. you. I’m doing community service this week”. The Member of Congress was very happy and left the shop. The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen Members of Congress lined up waiting for a free haircut.
And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the citizens of our country and the politicians who run it.
We are in the sardine can with wings, next stop Seattle.

I read something about a coming, big U-turn in gasoline prices a couple of weeks ago.
Have fun Bones, watcha’ up to?
Shannon, I find it unbelievable that Trump tried to refill the Strategic Oil Reserves when gas was about $2 bucks a gallon and couldn’t get it done then along comes Biden and throws a monkey wrench in the domestic oil production and starts using up the reserve to try to keep the price of gas down. To fix a problem THAT HE CREATED!!!!!! ~SPITS~

Another great line from an Ace commenter, in reference to the unacknowledged Biden granddaughter:

Alex Berenson:
A dose of Moderna’s Covid jab injured the hearts of about 3 percent of people who received it, Swiss researchers have found.
The vaccinated people did not show obvious signs of heart damage. But when researchers ran blood tests three days after the jabs, they found high levels of troponin, a protein the heart releases when it is injured, in many recipients.
“Subclinical mRNA vaccine-associated myocardial injury is much more common than estimated based on passive surveillance,” the researchers concluded. The paper was published last week in the peer-reviewed European Journal of Heart Failure.
Over 1 billion people have received mRNA jabs. The study suggests tens of millions of them may have suffered heart damage – and don’t even know they’ve been hurt.
Turn 65 early next month. Anyone understand the +65 property tax exemption/freeze, when is best time to apply, do the upcoming new property tax laws play into it? Will the new homestead exemptions be phased in or will they be immediate?
The new homestead exemption will be 100K, +65 exemption is 25K, is the 25K added to the 100K? How does that work?
I just took out my second bag of old invoices, shredded, for trash pickup today. I can’t put those in my compost piles, since the chemicals used to make them carbonless may have a negative effect on my food stuffs.
I still have the white paper stuff to shred. Slowly working my way through the old boxes. We generated so. much. paper. during our plumbing company days. Turning it all into worm food will take time. This is even more mind boggling when I think back on how Office Help and I were crazily shredding papers for years. I had been too busy to make it a priority for years, and we had boxes and boxes and boxes of old paperwork to burn/shred. Hubby got me a burn barrel for the old invoices, which I thought would be a quicker way of disposing of those old invoices. It took much longer than I thought, and several days of sitting by the barrel, stirring it up, getting “sunburned,” etc.
But I’m sure there is a light at the end of the tunnel…somewhere.
I have to keep seven years’ worth of records in case the IRS comes after us, and seeing as how we were four years behind in filings, that means more boxes to keep, just in case. Some things I can go ahead and shred – like our job packets with our internal records of locates, etc.; but I keep the invoices and vendor records. Each year, I’ll be able to make more worm food. I shred as I wait for programs to load, reading emails, etc. As I clear each box, it becomes available for food storage.
It felt good to put out that bag of old records. It’s good to finally be clearing stuff out.
I think today is D-Day for the bee hive in our backyard. I’m gonna get an umbrella, drape it with plastic, and close with clothes pins, with a hole for the garden sprayer nozzle to poke through. Hubby tested it out, and it’ll shoot a good fifteen feet. I’ll put some Dawn in the sprayer and while underneath my improvised plastic bee suit, shoot the hive with the soapy water. One of my bee keeping videos showed a guy killing his “hot hive,” and soapy water is the government approved method of killing the bees.
I wish the bee guy had come back to collect them, but he doesn’t even return my texts any more. Hubby doesn’t want to pay hundreds of dollars to do this. These aren’t killer bees, but I do expect them to be a little wissed off, so I’m going to do it when I have help from Hubby and/or Handyman. Hubby can’t do it, being allergic, so it falls on me. I’m going to be very careful.
If we do it now, it’ll give the hive time to die before we cut down the rotten tree and put it out for heavy trash pickup later in August.

Some friends of ours when we lived in Turkey had a similar experience. The wife/mom was Mexican and was making tamales. The scene apparently looked like yours except with added tamale goodness on the ceiling (and the cabinets and the floor and the refrigerator…)
Re: over 65 exemptions
In the year that you turn 65, you can apply at your Appraisal District for the over-65 exemption which “freezes” the school district portion of your property taxes. It is not a true freeze, but it will only go up if you make Major home improvements (like adding a room).
As for the newly increased Homestead Exemption amount, this applies to the other taxing entities such as city or county taxes.
So, plan a trip to your local Appraisal District office.
Roundup:
Good morning, C&C, it’s Friday! This morning I take a crack at debunking the climate narrative and you won’t believe what they haven’t been telling us, and a contentious House committee hearing on surgical mutilation of minors drives dems nuts.
News:
Surely you’ve seen all the climate hysteria lately, and probably seen lots of counter argument. But there are some things they haven’t been telling us, that are in themselves complete explanations for any increased world temperatures we might be living through this summer. It’s not carbon dioxide, as crypto-marxist, faux protest group “Extinction Rebellion” wants you to think: [insert tweet that corals ARE GONNA DIEEEE!]
Mr. C. then recounts history, specifically the Hunga Tonga volcanic eruption waaaaayyy back in 2022. The eruption went unnoticed because we were all getting verklempt over masking and forced jabs, etc. This vent, 490 feet under the waves, let loose with a massive, record breaking eruption, bigger than Mt. Pinatubo. This eruption created massive amounts of water vapor, with all of that hot lava getting exposed to the ocean.
You never heard about it since it was underwater and nobody died. But the erupting lava instantly vaporized fantastic, unimaginable amounts of sea water, which billowed into the atmosphere, changing the water composition of Earth’s atmosphere and heating it up for years. In only a few days, the superheated water from the Hunga Tonga eruption blanketed the globe, pole to pole, East to West.
The eruption was so big it could be clearly seen from space.
Here’s an August 2022 headline about the eruption, straight from the NASA website:
“Unprecedented” is accurate but doesn’t do it justice. Here’s how the rocket-slash-climate experts at NASA described Hunga Tonda as one of the most dramatic events in modern history:
When the Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha’apai volcano erupted on Jan. 15, it sent a tsunami racing around the world and set off a sonic boom that circled the globe twice. The underwater eruption in the South Pacific Ocean also blasted an enormous plume of water vapor into Earth’s stratosphere – enough to fill more than 58,000 Olympic-size swimming pools. The sheer amount of water vapor could be enough to temporarily affect Earth’s global average temperature.
The not only injected ash into the stratosphere but also large amounts of water vapor, breaking all records for direct injection of water vapor, by a volcano or otherwise, in the satellite era. …The excess water vapor injected by the Tonga volcano … could remain in the stratosphere for several years. This extra water vapor could influence atmospheric chemistry, boosting certain chemical reactions that could temporarily worsen depletion of the ozone layer. It could also influence surface temperatures … since water vapor traps heat.
“We’ve never seen anything like it,” said Luis Millán, an atmospheric scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Southern California.
…Current estimates are three times higher than the original: scientists now think it was closer to 150,000 metric tons, or 40 trillion gallons, of super-heated water instantly injected into the atmosphere. Talk about a greenhouse. Water vapor — humidity — is a much more effective greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide.
This event is now expected to impact global climate for years. FOR. YEARS.
I say we ban volcanoes. They are the problem child of climatology.
But I bet you never heard anything about Hunga Tonga, did you? Thanks, media. Better late than never, though. And if I’m doing my job right, you’re starting to think, hey, maybe the hot summer weather this year might have something to do with this historic volcanic eruption last year? If so, you aren’t the only one. Here’s another study, from April this year: [insert various headlines and studies]
/snip
See that? Hunga Tonga warming could last five more years. At this rate, the plume will likely outlive Joe Biden. [snuffle snort!]
/snip
“Okay Jeff,” you say, “nice volcano theory, but does anything back it up?” Well, yes, I’m glad you asked. The Ethical Skeptic, who has done so much great work crunching covid mortality figures the last few years, recently turned his attention to the climate. He’s been noting another startling fact that you probably never heard of: for some reason, worldwide ocean surface temperatures have bafflingly jumped rapidly this year — much too fast for any cause to have been atmospheric.
First, although Antarctic ice has just very recently started melting quickly, and a lot, it is during a record cold winter in Antarctica right now, which is why you haven’t heard about it. The melting is pretty dramatic:
Ethical’s theory is that the oceans are heating up due to increased activity in the Earth’s molten core. Like the kind of activity that could cause giant underwater volcanoes to erupt. Various data support his theory. One study he often cites found dramatically increased water temperatures at abyssal depths — deep, deep underwater, where increased air temperatures have little or no effect.
In other words, Ethical is suggesting that the water is heating the air — instead of the other way around. And the Earth’s core is heating the water. It’s a theory that explains everything.
But despite all of this evidence, the “experts” are baffled and continue to blame the gas that living creatures exhale and plants need to live.
Hysterical corporate media articles about global warming ignore all these facts. …. They only want to show you the summer heat map and run clips of cantankerous teenage climate propagandist Great Thunberg whining that your SUV is literally killing everybody’s grandma and will eventually burn the Earth into a pile of hot ash.
Don’t you believe it. “Science” has only the barest notion of what heats and cools the Earth, and they even refuse to grapple with the evidence they do have. The climate has been changing ever since God created the World. It is the pinnacle of human hubris to believe that we know what the optimal global climate is, or to think we can somehow freeze that optimal climate into place without breaking everything else.
Next up: Democrats walk out on a video of a doctor describing how he mutilates kids to “affirm their gender”
Someone linked to this story yesterday. Representative Cammack wanted to enter the video into evidence in a hearing – a video that the legislators had already seen. Dems vehemently protested it and made silly arguments about why not to include it. When they lost, they walked out before they had to watch the video. Again.
Now, you could maybe understand the democrats walking out if Representative Cammack played a clip of some neo-nazi, trans-hating domestic terrorist. You know, like part of a Moms for Liberty conference or something. But gauging by his speech, demeanor, and job, Dr. Blair is hardly a rock-ribbed conservative. If I had to guess, my bet would be the good doctor voted for a barely-conscious, gaffe-prone old man for president last time around.
In other words, Dr. Blair is a fellow liberal, an experienced gender surgery practitioner, and should have been a credible source for the democrat committee members. He’s literally pro-trans. But the democrats refused even to sit silently in committee while a liberal gender surgeon discussed the very surgery they were voting on. It’s not that they didn’t want to hear it, which would have been bad enough; they already watched the video during the recess.
It’s just a wild guess, but they either didn’t want to be seen endorsing these procedures directly or had some Chinese “businessman” waiting to give them some money. Or they realized how devastating the video would be for their agenda if made public. Pardon me – MORE public.

And yes, I believe the special extra 25K school tax exemption is added to the $100,000 before your school tax is figured.
I haven’t heard that the new 100,000 Homestead Exemption will be phased in. Pretty sure it becomes law in September.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr @RobertKennedyJr
Since the assassination of my father in 1968, candidates for president are provided Secret Service protection. But not me.
Typical turnaround time for pro forma protection requests from presidential candidates is 14-days. After 88-days of no response and after several follow-ups by our campaign, the Biden Administration just denied our request. Secretary Mayorkas: “I have determined that Secret Service protection for Robert F Kennedy Jr is not warranted at this time.”

At $25,000, it sounds like your school district has a very generous over-65 special local option exemption.
This is directly from the Comptroller’s office:
For persons age 65 or older or disabled, Tax Code Section 11.13(c) requires school districts to provide an additional $10,000 residence homestead exemption. Tax Code Section 11.13(d) allows any taxing unit to adopt a local option residence homestead exemption. This local option exemption cannot be less than $3,000.
Just an fyi on pressure cookers: it’s almost impossible for that to happen today’s pressure cookers. Mine has several emergency safety features. There’s a pop-up (or pop out) rubber valve that will activate when the pressure gets too high inside. Once it pops, the steam inside will be released. The rubber gasket also has an opening in the lid rim that will allow it to be pushed out under extreme pressure, providing another outlet for the pressure.
But yes, the older ones…

Hunga Tonga !
No wonder it’s so damned humid. You almost need a machete to chop through the air just to walk around outside up here. It’s as humid as the worst day in Houston. I don’t care what the weather readings say – it feels like 99%.
.
Correction:
The voters of Texas will have to vote soon on all or part of the new property tax changes before they go into affect.
The next statewide election is in November.
Regardless of the vote, I would go ahead and apply for the over-65 exemption at your Appraisal District before the end of this year.
Hubby is about to start on finishing Elsa’s room. We just discussed the electrical problems and wall/work table dimensions. He’s going to make me a flip-up shelf, similar to my canning shelf, for me to use when I need extra space to remove the shelves inside Elsa for cleaning.
I do love having a handy Hubby.
The people at my Appraisal District office were extremely nice and helpful – but then I know half of the folks who work there. After the funeral, I had a couple of items that I needed to take care of.
The lady who helped me even volunteered the special form to remove Fay from the title of my mobile home. Mobile home Titles are handled by a separate State agency.
Dropping her from the title is not mandatory, but I want to do it to make things less complicated for my executor. That stupid form is still sitting on my desk – the last thing on my post-funeral To Do List. But it will require a phone call to the State.
Which is as good of an excuse for procrastination as there is.
Amazing life after death story from a surgeon.
I made my first pot of coffee of the week this morning. Am I becoming an occasional coffee drinker? I don’t know, could be. Weird.

My 25K statement was from a general DDG search, not sure what our district exemption is.
I was just wondering if I should be timing my application to the best moment and not lock myself in at a higher rate. I think I read you should apply before May 1.

This thing is getting ready to get very nasty. Popcorn time.
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A new poll from the Hobby School of Public Affairs at the University of Houston reveals the race for Houston mayor is currently a two-person contest.
According to the just-released poll numbers, 34% of likely voters would choose State Sen. John Whitmire. Thirty-two percent would vote for Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee.
The remaining likely voters polled between July 12 and July 20, 2023 would cast their ballots among the other 12 declared candidates, and none has more than 3% of the likely vote. The survey included 800 city of Houston likely voters and has a margin of error of +/- 3.5%.
In a mayoral runoff between Jackson Lee and Whitmire, the poll found that 51% would vote for Whitmire. Thirty-three percent would cast a ballot for Jackson Lee.
Besides Dems running out on testimony about child mutiliation surgeries, they also snubbed “Sound of Freedom” screening.
I think that tells us all we need to know.
I’ve finished breakfast for me & all the cats, now just dragging my feet… Need to get OUTSIDE and finish the front yard.
Good Morning Hamsters,
Supposed to be a hot but a lesser hot day than going 100 or over. This is a reprieve? Already we are at 90 with 71% humidity.
A neighbor who regularly jogs around our two streets and around other small subdivisions nearby passed through here shortly after 8:30 this morning. Hope she was carrying a water bottle along with her cell phone. Another neighbor jogs with her dog in the evening when shade is plentiful along the way but it is still hot.
I am presuming most of them are neighbors who live in one of the other subdivisions down the road from ours because we have little traffic here other than residents, and visibility along our roads is very good. Plus most of the folks who live here now are older adults and careful drivers. When we moved out here in 1980 there were several families with young children or grade-school age that eventually became families with high-school kids and college kids. The school bus still stops here but for very few children now. Thus goes the way that neighborhoods seem to age.
I think that when the new Homestead Exemption amount eventually kicks in, it’s going to be applied and further lower your frozen school tax.
But since I am not Paul Bettencourt (thank the Lord), that’s a good question to ask them when you are there.
From Ben Domenech:
Earlier this week I noted the Schrodinger’s Cat problem facing the streamers — that if they open up their books in the process of the current strikes and make clear how many people are actually watching streaming content, the truth may be particularly painful for the more diverse, woke content that may not be getting eyeballs but corporate loves to tout. The cost-benefit analysis of producing things that a majority of subscribers won’t watch would come into play, and it would be bad for a lot of creators.
Yet even though we don’t have a clear idea of how many people are watching what shows on which platforms, we can make some judgment calls based on financially-driven renewals and cancellations. It was extremely telling that when Netflix had to make cutbacks last year, for instance, that they canceled two Ibram X Kendi series: “Antiracist Baby,” which was supposed to be for preschoolers, and the teen-skewing “Stamped: Racism, Antiracism and You”. But those shows were still in the process of being made. What about the ones that were already launched and running?
Just scroll down this list of what got canceled last year by Netflix and notice what almost everything has in common: racial diversity, gender politics, things that haven’t been taboo on TV for decades presented as such. Unless I’m wrong, not a single one of these shows had a white male lead.
The Creature from the Kenyan Lagoon signed a big money deal with Netflix.
maybe one of the clauses in the contract was no white male lead need apply.
Hmmm, Facebook tracks the top 5 or 6 video channels I look at every day, and reports them so I can see what I did. I don’t know (or care) if anyone else can see my list.
I’m still mowing the front yard, which is nice and shady. Took a hydration break and while sitting down, I wound the “trimmer line” I bought yesterday onto the reel on my old whacker. Think I’ll go see if it works.
I know nothing of Facebook. Are you saying that they indicate the popularity (by viewership numbers) of shows on the the various streaming platforms? Such as Netflix, Prime, YT, Hulu, etc?
Facebook automatically tracks your streaming habits?
Good grief.
I guess Zuck sells that data to raise money to donate to the election administrators of purple, lavender, and blue counties across the fruited plain.
Also known as Zuck Bucks.
$38 million dollars of Zuck Bucks flooded some Texas counties for the 2020 election.
I’m still trying to find out the amount that went to the corrupt Harris County elections administrator.

Well, the bee decimation program has begun and may be over already. Handyman helped me clothes pin plastic sheeting to my umbrella, and I tried not to trip on my way to the bee hive, holding my sprayer with Dawn and Pyrethrin mixture. I expected more of a fight, but I think the sheer volume of water hitting their front door along with the soapy water/poison mixture nixed much of their ability. I made sure to get some good streams to the top of the dead trunk, which is where they entered originally. I didn’t want their “back door” to become a new “front door” if they tried to regroup. I guess watching all of those bee keeping videos has paid off.
Sadly, there is very little activity going on now. I was actually quite happy, watching them come and go like busy little bees. They didn’t bother me and I didn’t bother them.
But – I would never know when the hive would go hot, which is likely to happen as the Africanized bees take over existing hives or breed into them. And even the gentler, European bees were a danger to my Hubby. So they had to go. I just wish the bee guy had come and gotten them.
Handyman and I were joking about my makeshift bee suit. He was on hand in case I needed to make a run for the back door.
I called it the human condom. That cracked him up.

Tedtam, I have a very nosy question… How many sets of trays do you have for Elsa????
Fake tattoos?
#56
One set. I do have a set of eight 7×7 pans that I’m going to use to pre-freeze stuff in.
But since Kroger was having such a good sale on meat yesterday, I’ve refilled that blank space I was trying to create in my freezer…/sigh
I saw on one of the videos that a FDer was taking canned goods and FDing them. Lighter on the shelves. There’s something to be said for keeping liquid available in canned goods. If water gets iffy to drink, there will be some moisture available in canned food. But then, that liquid won’t be available if the jars are falling on the floor because the shelves collapsed…food for thought.
The clouds are teasing me again.
Mean clouds. >:-(
Bsue – I also purchased a roll of silicone matting that I cut into pieces that not only fit the bottom of Elsa’s trays, but also go up the sides and corners. Makes cleanup a breeze, and if I pour a liquid into the trays, it won’t seep underneath the mat.
I do have some pre-cut parchment paper, too, for use with foods that might be greasy and I want some absorption.

I may or may not have a dormant FB account. It’s been so many years ago.

The first time I clicked on your link it took me to a Joey Feeks “music video” with a woman who looked like her but with blonde hair and tattoos. I was kind of shocked by it and I had never seen her with tattoos or with anything but black hair. I assumed it was all done for the video.
Now, I get a completely different video when I click on the link.
This site has also logged me out at least three times today for no reason. ????
According to the just-released poll numbers, 34% of likely voters would choose State Sen. John Whitmire. Thirty-two percent would vote for Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee.
close fake polls make the steal that much easier.
get ready.
The Big Steal II is coming again in 2024.
The same 5 states all with corrupt governors..
4 totalitariancrats and one corrupt eCan’t rino in Georgia.
then in the aftermath the eCan’ts and John hindermoonraker over at the Downed Powerline blog will run with the propagandist media narrative of ‘we just ran bad candidates.’
Again.
Compared to Fetterman, Feinstein and the wooden dummy who are superb, cream of the crop candidates.
But I’d have to say most eCan’ts are lousy, gutless and spineless candidates.

I bought gasoline today @ $3.39 (cash price).
The last fill up was $3.19.
Tedtam, the reason I was asking is that I wound up with THREE sets… I don’t know that I’ll ever have enough freezer space to use more than 2 – if you want the “spare” just say so… they’d be free

Very weird.
The song I posted was “That’s Important To Me”.
Blond? Never.
Tattos? Highly doubtful.
Clearly, YouTube hates you. And Joey Feek.

I was very busy at the office when Facebook suddenly became very popular. I finally decided to open an account without knowing anything about it. I think I agreed to “friend” 12 or 15 people I knew well.
I left the office and when I came back in the morning, there were friend requests from 3,000 people I never heard of. I said then I don’t any time for this silly nonsense.
Fuel price jump of 20 cents is what I saw also – just filled earlier today. Wife is back in the fuel biz and she confirmed OPIS jumped up this week. Probably reasonable to expect more jumps coming our way.

ROTFL
We probably added a half dozen extra hits on Joey Feeks‘ YouTube video just to see what the heck Texpat is talking about. 😛
Joey Feek has long been in my top ten of Brunette beauties.
I just took a chance and tried to find out her ethnic heritage. I always assumed she had a large dose of American Indian blood.
I am not surprised to find that she also has some Texas genes. 🙂
So Powerline doesn’t do the Meme thing anymore?
Oh, well, here’s funny thing that I came across…..
”My husband said he did a double take of me when he first met me but l’ve also seen him do a double take of a free pile of dirt.”
“Growing up is realizing that talking doesn’t scare the fish, and that grandpa just wanted you to STFU.”
“Is British food really that bad?”
”Yes, if made correctly.”

I know, it seemed like Saturday to me all day today for some reason, but it’s Friday and Hayward posts his The Week In Pictures on Saturday.
Trimmer line failed. I guess the problem might be that my old chopper is worn out. Look like I need to buy a new one. But I got all the mowing done out front.
I guess what I do most on Facebook is watch videos that I enjoy.

I don’t know what that image is supposed to represent.
Here is the link to weeks, months, maybe years, etc. of The Week In Pictures by Steven Hayward at Powerline.

makes reference to a 404 error that you sometimes encounter when you arrive at closed website or have some other failed connection online.
Bsue – I’ll take you up on the tray offer. I’ll get with you via text or phone call. I’ll be busy most of the day tomorrow, so Sunday or later, prolly.
Shannon – your #79 deserves 4 thumbs up… and having started my PC life with a Windows 3.1… I understood the second I saw the picture
#81 – no problem… they aren’t going anywhere
Remdesivir may be the most despised drug in American history, earning the nickname Run Death Is Near for its lethal record during COVID. Experts claimed that it would stop COVID; instead, it stopped kidney function, then blasted the liver and other organs. Now this reviled destroyer of kidneys has been approved by the FDA for COVID treatment of kidney patients. Does anybody else feel as if the FDA is shoving its power in our faces and laughing at us?
I’ve been joining online support groups for people who lost loved ones to the Remdesivir Protocol — a nightmarish sequence in which a patient is isolated in the hospital, bullied into taking Remdesivir, ventilated, and then sedated to death. Thousands of Americans were killed this way, possibly hundreds of thousands.

Cheri Martin, who lost her husband Steven to the protocol, chimed in with thoughts on the agenda: “They’re going to use this decision as a way to clean house of renal patients and people on dialysis. It’s saving a ton of money for Medicare over the next twenty years.”
Nailed. It.
That, and money gets funneled into another Big Pharma pocket.
