Thursday Seething Rage Open Comments

What does one do when it is discovered that there was a cheap, highly effective treatment for the WLR – and most other infections – that was refused by The Powers That Be?  A chemical manufactured by our very own human bodies as part of our immune system?

No need for ventilators, “vaccines,” Remdesivir, monoclonal antibodies.  Something that could’ve stopped this whole scamdemic in its tracks.

Read it here in Dr. Malone’s column:

What if your body produced its own antimicrobal?

Hypochlorous Acid and Its Revolutionary Impact on Healthcare, Skin Care and Disinfecting

Hypochlorous acid is created by our own immune system to fight bacteria and viruses.  It can be used on the skin to treat a multitude of issues (even aging?) and in the nasal passages to kill the viruses that just love to party down on our mucosal surfaces.

It is naturally a short-lived chemical, but a coupla engineers in Tampa, FL figured out how to produce it in volume and keep it stable.  It’s made from water, salt, and electricity.  They tested it, specifically against the WLR, and it stopped it dead in its tracks. Then this happened…

  • took their data to the FDA believing that this would provide an important method for reducing the damage and spread associated with this (supposedly) highly lethal pathogen, and the FDA in its infinite wisdom basically told them to go pound sand (much as happened to Steve Kirsh with his Wash U drug trials) and threatened legal action if these engineers tried to promote their finding,
  • and these clever American engineers, undeterred by the FDA intransigence, went to the EPA and convinced that agency to approve their non-toxic antimicrobial for disinfecting surfaces.

And then, crickets. The whole “hand and surface disinfectant” industry was so heavily invested in a variety of toxic alcohols and soap formulations that no-one would consider anything else.

The major route of infection for the WLR is, as you may have guessed – the nose!  A simple wash of this solution…

Surely this must be an imaginary parallel universe. There is no way that the US FDA would have blocked rather than expedited the availability of such lifesaving treatment using an inexpensive agent which is less toxic than povidone–iodine!

I bought a bottle of that nasty smelling iodine stuff!  Just in case..

I am very sorry to tell you that what I am describing is not some parallel, dysfunctional universe in which the FDA has been transformed into a bootlicking sycophantic captured promoter of the commercial interests of the patented pharmaceutical industry, or yet another sordid example of the US Federal Imperial Administrative State making arbitrary and capricious decisions which have indirectly led to a large unnecessary loss of life. Unfortunately, as is often the case, both scenarios are clearly true in THIS universe.

More from Dr. Malone:

…I have heard many physicians (including eye and plastic surgeons) as well as many other lay people ascribe what sounds like magical healing properties to this natural agent. My advice, as always, is to do your own diligence and research, and if you think there is merit, consider trying out the product.

Curative Bay’s website, if you want to look at their product line.

HOCl works by neutralizing bacterial and viral proteins, making them unable to spread or cause infection. (Wish we had something like that for libs.)  It’s non-toxic and safe, so it can be used on surfaces.  Think: doctor’s offices, hospitals, school cafeterias, etc.

However, the benefits of Hypochlorous extend beyond its EPA approved disinfectant properties. It is also becoming increasingly popular as a skin care product due to its non-toxic nature and ability to fight off bacteria, eradicate acne, and speed up the healing process of burns and wounds.

Furthermore, it has strong anti-aging characteristics, making it a one-stop solution for skin health.

Just think how different our world would be today if this option had been pursued instead of masking, lockdowns, jabs, etc….but then, there wouldn’t be much money to follow, would there?  How does one grab power when the people are free to move about?

A report out of Stanford University last month by one of the premier virus research groups in the USA nails it—the SARS 2 coronavirus gets into your body by invading the mucous membranes in your nose, not through your lungs! Moreover, the virus takes quite a while to infect cells after it latches onto their surfaces –about 24 hours, in fact, before it invades and starts the cycle of infection and spread. All during that time it’s exposed on the nasal cell surfaces, and… that’s where it can be attacked.

/snip

Dr. Ivan Delgado and about 30 medical professional- colleagues at the University of Colima in Mexico published the results of their studies in two peer- reviewed papers. In the first 2 they showed that a nasal spray solution of hypochlorous acid (HOCl), a natural product made in human white blood cells, could reverse the symptoms of SARS2 coronavirus positive patients that came to his hospital. It was also highly effective in preventing worsening of symptoms in those people already suffering from the disease. These researchers then went on to show that nasal sprays sprayed up each nostril several times per day were highly effective in preventing infections in nurses and healthcare orderlies who were caring for COVID19 patients every hour of their waking days.

Although HOCl is a natural product it’s possible with modern technology to manufacture it in large quantities (300,000 gallons per month), pure, stable, and at a cost that is a tiny fraction of the cost of monoclonal antibodies and antiviral drugs being promoted. Something like a cheap, safe, effective nasal spray that people could use as many times per day as they wish, and especially in situations of high exposure risk is much more desirable.

There are more than ten thousand scientific papers published on HOCl, its chemistry, natural and synthetic production, safety and all the powerful effects it has on germs of all types, including coronaviruses, and even Mad Cow prions!

HOCl is safe to breathe and stands as the first and most powerful line of defense in your natural immune system. And it can be made available for daily use by hundreds of millions of people for a few dollars per day per person.

How’s that for a contrast?

Heads. Should. Roll.  There should be an avalanche of extreme haircut victims rolling down Pennsylvania Avenue.  Tomorrow.

You may recall that several days after Fay’s funeral, Texpat and I were both diagnosed COVID positive.

We immediately started the vitamin/supplement regimen recommended by Dr. Malone and holed up in my house.

Another part of the Malone regimen was daily nasal wash with a NetiPot using a 50% solution of food-grade hydrogen peroxide. I only lasted three days using this method. I became convinced that I was going to damage my mucosa and my vocal chords.

Hopefully that HOCl isn’t as nasty as the hydrogen peroxide.

My HEB had only the large 2.5 lb can of their French Roast coffee. Hopefully they’ll have a one pound can next time.

I noticed a small bag of McDonald’s McCafé Coffee, so I bought it.

I made some just now. Not bad. Not bad at all. Need to make it a bit stronger next time.

Looks like Shannon is up and about early this morning. Speaking of coffee, I was at Publix yesterday and I’d never buy coffee there since they’re a little pricey BUTT they had a 2 Fer on 8 O Clock whole beans in the 12 Oz bag, $9.20 each and a freebee, couldn’t pass that up but should have got more than two I guess.

Another fine day here at the beach, I’m getting ready to walk down to the pier.

Hypochlorous acid, Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine + zinc.  All cheap, very effective, and very safe even for preggers.  Our corrupt government prohibited the use of these drugs for the treatment of WLR – because they want us sick or dead; there is no other rational explanation.

    A Re-Declaration of Independence.

Wow – I slept in this morning…  Shannon – I guess I can understand your hesitance to buy the big can not knowing whether or not you’d like it… We usually only make one pot a day (with 4 rounded scoops), the rest of our coffee consumption is K-Cups when the urge strikes… That large can lasts us about 2 weeks.  Just sayin’… And be safe on your journey to “Yankee Land” tomorrow (Remember, I was told that I was a Yankee because I was born north of I-10 ROTFLOL) with prayers for the Bama Belle continuing.

Good photos of the GW Bridge, Shannon.

Fog is a rare and not so heavy phenomena around here so these natives have never really been fog-blind and are freaking out.  Growing up in southern Texas along the Coastal Bend, a Texan develops X-RAY vision if they want to stay alive.

Fortunately, I live a few miles west of the GW Bridge.  The intensity of the Canadian smoke seems worse right there on the Hudson River.

I worked late last night, and got a lot done.  I have the two big checking accounts left to reconcile, which I want to get done today.  I had let the last two months slip by without reconciling, and I was worried about the work pileup.

I leave on Saturday, not Friday, so I have an extra day to get my act together.

Today is Mrs. Texmo’s first day without caring for or worrying about her hubby.  They have a teenage son, so I’m sure the void left in her life will be filled with caring for him.  Prayers for her and the family, for grace in finding their new normal as they make this adjustment.

It seems that Fox is trying to keep Carlson quiet until after the election.

They don’t like him expressing his views on Twitter, and are threatening to take him to court. Fox argues that his “services are exclusive” until the end of his contract.  Carlson’s lawyers argue that Twitter is not a competitive venue against Fox, and that his First Amendment rights should not be infringed.

I’m sure they both can afford the best lawyers money can buy.

I probably live closer to the location of that ceremony (several years ago now) than any other Hamboner did, but the word came so late that I would be driving in the dark to a location I had never been to before. I simply chickened out. And now I am stunned that Shannon didn’t get the word — although living where he does, he would not have been able to drive there — near-north Houston, sorta close to where he had lived (and died), as I recall — in time for the service.

Well add me to the list of the uninformed. I heard nothing about it but I guess I wouldn’t have been able to make the 10-11 hour trip in time.

    CONSPIRACY FACTS ☙ Thursday, June 8, 2023 ☙ C&C NEWS

    Roundup:

Good morning, C&C, it’s Thursday! Today’s roundup includes: another Wall Street Journal pedophile network exposed on Instagram; New York Times runs fake news story about real Ukrainian Nazis; more information about the Biden bribery document emerges in a fog of fake news and propaganda; and an encouraging take on how the Canadian Trucker Convoy protests played out.

    News:

Following two weeks of Jeffrey Epstein news, the Wall Street Journal ran another shocking exposé yesterday, headlined “Instagram Connects Vast Pedophile Network.”

    /snip

…Instagram (owned by Facebook)…software even encouraged debased criminal users [pedophiles] by helping them connect with each other, helped them trade highly-illegal CSAM, and even suggested ways for them to avoid getting caught.

Facebook blames all of that on surprising side-effects from their A.I., which sure gives us a glimpse into the near future. Get ready to hear “AI made me do it” a lot….

You might fairly be wondering what, exactly, Facebook’s swarms of social media police do all day long…. But what they DON’T DO is combat any real-life crimes:

Sometimes user reports of nudity involving a child went unanswered for months, according to a review of scores of reports filed over the last year by numerous child-safety advocates… When the activist reported a post declaring, “This teen is ready for you pervs,” Instagram responded with an automated message saying: “Because of the high volume of reports we receive, our team hasn’t been able to review this post.”

It seems that Stanford researchers discovered that one single account that they set up was swamped with porn site suggestions.  And it didn’t take long, either.  Like the pedophile network was EAGER to find a new source able to share depraved images.  Underage porn.

It’s a long article. But this one paragraph especially jumped out at me, and at other close observers of the captured media:

The pedophilic accounts on Instagram mix brazenness with superficial efforts to veil their activity, researchers found. Certain emojis function as a kind of code, such as an image of a map️—shorthand for “minor-attracted person”—or one of “cheese pizza” , which shares its initials with “child pornography,” according to Levine of UMass. Many [Instagram perverts sickeningly] declare themselves “lovers of the little things in life.”

I remember the poo-poohed claims of pedophilia in the Capitol, including the White House.  I remember one discussion of Obama’s email discussing the shipping in of “hot dogs” to the White House for some event.  Like the kitchens of the WH can’t find “hot dogs” locally?  I found out later that “hot dog” was a pedophile term for a specific set of young children for sexual abuse.  FB was active in deleting any references to “Pizzagate”.  Another pedophile term.

Wait, go back. Did they just say, “cheese pizza?” Pizza? Wasn’t that the obvious code word all over Hilary Clinton’s leaked emails? But … I thought the pizza thing was all debunked conspiracy theory misinformation. They mocked the very idea, laughingly labeling it “pizza gate” and darkly hinting that anyone who believed that stuff was dangerous and should be on the no-fly list or something.

    /snip

Reading between the lines, the paragraph above shows that the Journal gave Facebook time to clean up its act before running the story. Why? Do people without government connections get the same consideration before an exposé is published? Just asking.

So that’s one conspiracy theory confirmed. But there’s another one today, too.

    RE: Hammy’s funeral/memorial mass

Remember, guys, we only found out about it a few hours before it commenced.  I had to hustle to get there in time, myself, and I was close by.  It’s not like we had time to discuss it beforehand.

  16. Tedtam Avatar

Childers next discusses the problematic Ukrainian soldiers and their love for the Nazi flag.

I’ll shorten the issue for you:  the liberal media is trying how to reconcile their love for Ukraine with the virtue signaling against Nazism.  Because, Trump is a nazi.  And DeSantis.  And anyone who disagrees with transing our kids or supporting traditional marriage.  Or any other of the left’s darling causes. (The list of which they never seem to exhaust.)

So, how to support Ukrainian nazis, hate Putin, and keep their purist ideals?  How can they argue that Putin was lying about (one of) his reasons for invading Ukraine when the proof is in front of their noses.

Now, I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking about how Joe Biden laughed like a braying donkey when a reporter questioned Ukrainian Nazis, and about how the Times itself has repeatedly promised you that there are no Nazis in Ukraine, zip, zero, not even one, because Putin. Putin is the real Nazi, if anybody is, they said. Stop spreading misinformation, they said.

Listen. This story isn’t about Ukrainian Nazis, not really, nor about the inconvenient fact Putin has apparently been telling the truth since Day Zero. (Don’t fret about that, scum like Putin don’t deserve apologies.) No. This story is about how the fact that Ukrainians love Nazis might somehow help the Russians. And that’s all it is about.

So the media must cover up the facts.  Deleting pictures of the offensive armbands. Rephrasing the facts.  This story is not so much about the nazi Ukrainians as it is the duplicitous media:

We can learn much from this article about how the captured media shapes narratives for its government overlords. Is it JUST the lying? The photo editing? Or, are they more active? How dirty do they get their hands? Read this next paragraph from the Times’ totally un-self-aware article, and tell me what you think:

In November, during a meeting with Times reporters near the front line, a Ukrainian press officer wore a Totenkopf variation made by a company called R3ICH (pronounced “Reich”). He said he did not believe the patch was affiliated with the Nazis. A second press officer present said other journalists had asked soldiers to remove the patch before taking photographs.

They’re telling subjects how to dress and what to hide! That’s not just misreporting the news. That’s shaping the news.

Orwell would be so proud.  Childers ends this portion with the following musings:

Finally, this story also passes our new fake news test. It’s old news, only recently admitted, and it is controversial and inflammatory. Therefore it’s propaganda. So … why now? What are they trying to distract us from? Is it part of the strategy to give the Biden Administration cover for another Afghanistan-like “retreat?”

That makes TWO conspiracy theories that graduated today.

    Next up: Raskin lies /shocker

The Federalist ran a story yesterday headlined, “EXCLUSIVE: Bill Barr Confirms Rep. Jamie Raskin Lied About Biden Family Corruption Investigation.”

Weasel-faced Representative Raskin (D-Md), a democrat member of the House Oversight Committee investigating the Biden crime family, attended a private conference with Committee Chair James Comer (R-Ky) and the FBI earlier this week….

… Raskin raced to the podium to tell credulous reporters all about the new information. As it turns out, Raskin was lying …. I won’t bother detailing all his lies, but it included more nonsense about Rudy Giuliani and a new (false) claim that Trump-appointee Bill Barr killed the investigation.

Since then, Comer and Barr have (separately) set the record straight. Here are the facts the we know so far. First, the information came from a long-standing FBI informant, who had proven so reliable the FBI had paid them over six figures. Apparently the informant got the intel directly from a foreign national who described in great detail how he personally paid Vice President Biden, to buy some favorable policy decisions.

Quid pro quo, in its barest form.

The information wasn’t some half-baked, third-hand hearsay.  It came directly from the source.

And Giuliani gave the FBI his documents months earlier than the FBI got the Biden bribe report. So the claims that Giuliani was involved is utter BS.

After the FBI got the report, under Barr’s direction, the Delaware U.S. attorney’s office was assigned to investigate. That’s when things go sideways. Two months after receiving the report,…in August, 2020, FBI Supervisory Intelligent Analyst Brian Auten filed an “assessment” discrediting the informant’s report as “misinformation,” which effectively shut down the investigation.

Brian Auten is a busy little deep state termite. He’s had starring roles in nearly ever FBI disaster in the last ten years: the RussiaGate Scandal; the Mueller Probe; the Hillary Email Whitewash; and Suppression of the Hunter Biden Investigation.

After the deep state termite got involved, the FBI restricted the files and shut out the Delaware investigators.  Comer has pledge contempt charges against Wray.  I don’t know what kind of enforcement is available.

There is good news out there today.

    First

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) School of Medicine has officially discontinued its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) task force.

Originally formed in 2019, according to a school statement made to Daily Mail, the group was assigned tasks such as “finding environments where diverse groups of students [can] thrive” and “eliminating racist content and terminology.”

A year later, the task force encouraged students to explore topics like “Understanding that America’s medical system is structurally racist” and “Understanding and Responding to Microaggressions.”

However, the school faced pressure from Color Us United, a group “advocating for a race-blind America,” who objected to the task force and its recommendations.

    but now,

In a response on May 11, Senior University Counsel Kirsten Stevenson stated that “there is no plan to implement the Task Force’s recommendations now or in the future.”

    Second

But a new Wall Street Journal report says this may not be the case for much longer. The Wall Street Journal. explains: “What is changing now, executives and corporate advisers said, is that conservative groups and political leaders are pushing back against companies more forcefully. Consumers are also more openly expressing frustration that companies are airing views in ways some don’t welcome.” As opposed to past approaches, current backlashes have “more teeth,” one former Disney high-up said.

In interviews with various executives, it is made clear that these companies are calculating all the costs and benefits of speaking out on a given topic. At least one company “uses an internal scoring system to determine if, and when, it makes sense for the company to comment on matters that may offend some of its customers and employees or affect its brands.” In light of recent events, though, this company “reexamined an older evaluation process.”

    plus,

The goal, therefore, should be to make the costs of involvement with hot-button matters impossible to ignore such that these corporations simply stay out of it going forward. The hope should be for a restoration of a genuine free market, properly understood, where the inorganic influence of outside factors such as ESG is diminished. This does not mean corporations would become activists on behalf of conservative causes, though. Oftentimes, there is prudence in restraint.

Abbott is going to try some marine barriers to stop illegals from crossing the Rio.

The first 1,000 feet of floating barrier, consisting of large rotating buoys strung tightly together on thick steel cable, will be rolled out on a highly trafficked stretch of the Rio Grande between Piedras Negras, Mexico, and Eagle Pass, Texas, where a rising torrent of immigrant family groups have been crossing to turn themselves in since the end of Title 42 pandemic instant expulsions May 12, the sources said. Immigrants would have difficulty crossing over the buoys because they would rotate backward toward immigrants attempting to climb over them.

    /snip

Such a move comes with some political risk as physical barriers to illegal immigration such as high walls reliably draw criticism and controversy from illegal immigration advocates – and hostile media attention if immigrants are injured attempting to defeat them.

State officials are aware that some immigrants will try to swim under the barrier.

“The whole design is to block the thousands, not the one” who might defeat it, one state official said.

But internal discussions are underway as to whether to use underwater webbing that would hang some distance beneath the barrier to deter such attempts on grounds that these might reduce, rather than increase, the chances of drownings.

Remember, not all GMO food is necessarily bad, despite the hysteria generated by the food mob.

In this article, as an example, it’s pointed out the canola plant has been genetically modified for different pests and diseases.  It’s only the plant, not the oil from the seed, that is GMO.

I’m not automatically alarmed because something has been genetically modified although I’m not convinced every GMO product is good.  If we had not been able to genetically modify cotton, it would have been impossible to grow it in America these last 50 to 60 years.

One example of the unreasonable attitudes about this are the same people who are anti-GMO turn right around praise how wonderful lab-grown fake meat is for people.

Have you noticed the word “bioengineered” or the new bioengineered symbol on your foods? Don’t freak out — both the Food and Drug Administration and National Academy of Science* have said these foods are safe to eat.

If you haven’t noticed though, you probably need to look closer because as of January 1, 2022, food companies must disclose whether their products are bioengineered or contain bioengineered ingredients.

But, even if you did notice this change, do you know what the new term means?

Is it simply the next generation of genetically modified or something totally different?

Let me lay this out for you.

There are some excellent American strains of corn and rice out there that could vastly benefit Third World farmers and consumers, but international organizations like the UN fiercely fight their distribution, but that is another horror story of its own.

*FOOTNOTE:  I don’t blame you if you’re highly skeptical of opinions issued by the FDA and National Academy of Sciences these days.  It does make it hard to know the truth anymore.

Far more than GMO and Bioengineered Foods, I would be a lot more worried about all the attempts to develop mRNA vaccines for livestock and children everywhere.  Where else are they trying to sneak it in to our food supply and medicines ?

How does anybody know the boy didn’t hide the gun somewhere in woods ?

Would the Waller LEOs have mobilized at DEF-CON 1 if the parents had not mentioned a gun missing ?

We got a nice rain last night, and may get a bit more this afternoon.

#34 mharper42 – judging by the growls from the sky and the images on the radar – we be in for some more “falling weather” as Mama used to call it… guess it covered all forms without having to try to outguess west Texas weather 😉

I have finally acquired “caught up” status as regards all of my bank statements.  I still have papers on my desk and things to do, but the sword hanging over my head has been taken safely down.

It’s taken me a long time to get here.

The confidential source said the Burisma executive told him he “paid” the Bidens in such a manner “through so many different bank accounts” that investigators would not be able to “unravel this for at least 10 years.”

I suppose this helps to explain how they evaded the Suspicious Activity Reports banks are required to file, at least for a while.  No wonder so many foreign countries are wanting to be a part of BRICS+.  Why wouldn’t they?

On a more personal note, so sorry to hear about Katfish and Texmo in addition to Hamous.  This sucks.  But thanks to y’all for keeping this site going.  Many prayers.

Regarding the Burisma Biden Bribe, remember the video of Biden bragging that they had to fire the prosecutor looking at Burisma malfeasance or they wouldn’t get the billion dollar loan?  Wanna bet that the bribe came from that very fund, almost like a finders fee?

Raining doves and squirrels, with raccoons and possums to come later on. And hooboy, it started here hard and fast. I thought I’d put out the early supper under the breezeway, but the rain was already coming in at a 45 degree angle. I don’t see Billy in the gazebo, so I hope he is in good shelter somewhere.

Overcast here with a storm to the north of us apparently slowly moving this way.  Many storms coming from any direction this year have left a few raindrops here on the way to somewhere else that gets all the rain.    Aha, the wind has really picked up from the north, trees are really swaying now, and Old Glory is swinging on the front porch with considerable vigor.  However, we have learned not to hold our breaths on such occasions previously, risking turning blue in the face while waiting for that which never comes here.  Sigh.

Quite the frog strangler outside. Wind. Sheets of rain. Lightning and thunder.

Power has blinked a few times.

  48. bsue54 Avatar

We had a little rain then BOOM the power went off… Blessedly, our whole home generator kicked right in – and Nat’s screen said “do you wise to resume???” I was almost freaking out because I have a load of pre-cooked sausage patties in there – first meat with any fat I’ve done… and it is looking different than any I’ve ever done… Now the power is back on, and everything’s humming along to the pitter pat of nice gentle rain…

  49. Dooood Avatar

No power here and multiple large limbs down. Haven’t seen one this bad in quite a while. Probably tornado but passed now.

Rain stopped, but everything is still dripping. I saw that Billy Cat had made it to the gazebo, where he is pretty well sheltered. I had just fed the 6 indoor puds, so I opened a can for him, put half of it in a large bowl and took it out to him. The umbrella made him nervous, so he backed away and then waited until I had walked back to the breezeway before he approached and started eating.

When I got back to the kitchen, which is where I feed the 6 indoor monkeys, I noticed most of their bowls still had some food in them, so I scraped those bites all together into one bowl. Then I divided up Billy’s remaining half-a-can into a couple of bites each into the bowls for the indoors cats. Most of them came right over and tried the switch in flavor and liked it. The bowl of scraped-together food they had not liked quite so much, I took out for Billy who was finished with his first bowl and licking his paws to clean his face. But he ate the 2nd helping and was glad to get it.

    Two questions.

I neglected to mention, the dad came out yesterday, when the kid was still missing, and said that report was erroneous and there was no missing weapon. So, can’t say for sure on that but something told me that was false.

The kid pulled this same trick about a month ago, no reports of a gun then and they were out in force. Actually had a helicopter out the first night.

I would imagine the law was laid down in some fashion to prevent this from happening again, lot of dollars and manpower spent.

Rain has stopped so I went out to put down food for the raccoons under the breezeway. To my surprise, Billy came to the patio to see what else there was to eat. The dog chow I put out for the big critters does not appeal to cats, so I went in again and fixed him a bowl of dry cat chow. I’ve been feeding Billy for over 6 weeks now, and this was the hungriest I have seen him.

Deep blue sky toward the NE over Houston and very windy here for about 10 minutes on the way through to the SE.  We were at the very edge of it passing by.  Purrscilla kitty was frightened (I don’t blame her) and has taken refuge under the dining room table, with a convenient view of the front yard through the tall window.  Her supper is ready, but she still seems glued to the floor in the dining room.  Of course she has far better hearing than we do.

Spouse is out walking around the house to see what got blown off the trees. So far it is just some small branches and twigs and clumps of leaves.

Earlier today we had three bucks visit the front pasture, no sign of the ladies and the one faun today.  Two of the bucks have antlers, and the third might be a yearling just grown some.  The ladies come to graze at a different time, and the faun keeps mom busy making milk.  Spouse has pasture gates open so they can walk through and don’t have to jump the fences.  The faun is too small yet to jump 4.5 foot fences with mesh underlay, so squeezing underneath the bottom rail is not possible.

Dood, I was thinking that – but don’t trust my memory too well… When we looked at the radar, we were guessing that most of the storm was going to miss us to the west, and while we did lose power briefly, a good soaking rain was about all we were blessed with.

Just opened a Christmas gift bottle of chocolate wine, a Netherlands delicacy we discovered several years ago.  It is Dutch chocolate mixed with red wine, and it is powerful beyond expectation.  A little goes a long way, and half of a wine glass is the limit if you want to be able to navigate through the house when the glass is empty.  At least it is for me. 🙂
