So our brunette is a gelding? He is beautiful though. Well we’ve made another Friday, weekend is on the way.
BTW; I’m not seeing any required reading so you might want ot go back and check Tedtam’s #44 last night about Gorsuch’s take on the COVID Government totalitarianism. Worth the read.

The IRS suspected a fishing boat owner wasn’t paying proper wages to his deckhand and sent an agent to investigate him.
IRS AUDITOR: “I need a list of your employees and how much you pay them”.
Boat Owner: “Well, there’s t-boi , my deckhand, he’s been with me for 3 years. I pay him $1,000 a week plus free room and board. Then there’s the mentally challenged guy. He works about 18 hours every day and does about 90% of the work around here. He makes about $10 per week, pays his own room and board, and I buy him a bottle of jack Daniel’s Tennessee honey and a dozen Bush Lights every Saturday night so he can cope with life. He also gets to sleep with my wife occasionally”.
IRS AUDITOR: “That’s the guy I want to talk to – the mentally challenged one”.
Boat Owner: “That would be me. What would you like to know”?

    😀

How to make New York City look like Detroit.

    Not kidding.

As part of last week’s budget deal, Gov. Kathy Hochul and the Legislature ordered the New York Power Authority to shut down all its fossil-fuel plants in just seven years — even though gas-fired plants supply nearly half the state’s electricity.

At the same time, they banned gas (for stoves and heating) in all new buildings by 2029, forcing them to be all-electric.

And by 2035, the only new cars sold here must also be purely electric.

Where on Earth do they think all the new juice that’s needed will come from?

People will die, many people, if these people are allowed to continue in power.

To address the ballooning needs for juice, the plan imagines the state will suddenly — magically — ramp up renewable-energy production.

Yet solar and wind now account for just 6% of the state’s juice; natural gas, 43%.

Hydro and nuclear plants pump out the rest, but hydro is maxed out, and no one’s talking about new Empire State nuke plants even as the few remaining ones age out.

So renewables must grow from covering just 6% of the load to 50% by 2040, or 75% if the nuke plants close.

The state of New York has no plan in place, none whatsoever, to replace the power supply.

Morning, gang. I guess if people (e,g, New York citizens) are stupid enough to let their gubmint officials phase out and shut down their energy supplies, well… so be it.

As distasteful as it is to normal people, we must come to grips with the reality that the Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates types of people want most of humanity to die.  First they must strip us of our means of self defense, then they can starve us to death or freeze us with no heat available in northern zones; absent that they will just shoot or poison us.

They hate we normals and want us all dead.  Normal people can’t think this way – only psychopaths can.

    Good Morning Hamsters,

Love the OC picture of that beautiful and elegant bay Quarter Horse going gray gelding.  He could possibly be a Half- Arabian.

Looking at his eyes one can see there is somebody at home. A clue to how his graying is proceeding is on his forehead. He could end up being light gray or even white.  It would be interesting to know the color of his sire and dam; at least one is gray.  It is rare to see gray Quarter horses except in one or two bloodlines.

Gray dominates bay and chestnut horse coat colors, and only one parent has to give the gray gene.  Their turning gray is as individual timewise as it is for humans going gray.  The genes rule.

I don’t know what kind of coverage, if any, this bombshell report by Chris Rufo at City Journal has received in Texas so here is a link to the story.  It was released on Tuesday, May 16th, and is getting national attention.

Last spring, executives at Texas Children’s Hospital announced that they would cease performing transgender medical procedures on children, citing potential legal and criminal liability. The hospital’s chief pediatrician, Catherine Gordon, an advocate for “gender-affirming therapy,” abruptly resigned.

I have obtained exclusive whistleblower documents showing that, despite its public statements, the Houston-based children’s hospital—the largest in the United States—has secretly continued to perform transgender medical interventions, including the use of implantable puberty blockers, on minor children. (When reached via email, hospital spokeswoman Kelley Carville responded: “We have no comment.”)

As an institution, Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH) has openly promoted “gender-affirming care” to its physicians. In January of this year, TCH and Baylor College of Medicine, which works in partnership with the children’s hospital, hosted a “pediatric grand rounds” presentation titled “Medical and Psychological Care of Gender-Diverse Youth,” describing the process of sex-change interventions, from puberty blockers to cross-sex hormones to genital surgeries.

    and,

The patients getting implants (or removals) from Rialon were 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 years old. Other medical records confirm that Rialon has administered the drug Supprelin LA, an implantable gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) medication that is one of the most commonly used drugs for blocking puberty in transgender-identified children.

AG Paxton is focused on the case,

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has launched a probe into transgender ‘science experiments’ at America’s biggest children’s hospital, after a whistleblower claimed doctors were carrying out clandestine procedures there.

Paxton, a Republican, said he was probing claims that Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH) doctors defied state guidelines by continuing to prescribe puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones to children as young as 11.

Wife’s heart rate began fluctuating again a couple weeks ago, last week they put a monitor on her for several days. She went to cardiologist today for follow up from wearing the heart monitor, he says heart is actually stopping at times and she needs a pacemaker. He can’t do it until Monday but wants her in the hospital for the weekend so they can monitor. We are in ER now waiting for room.

We had a fine morning fishing. It was overcast and cool, mid 70’s or so. I had put out my minnow trap and caught a couple dozen tiny Bream to use for Bass bait and of course I had wigglers. After Bream fishing for a while my wife decided that she liked fishing for Bass better than the Bluegill since they fight so hard and are bigger so I rigged her up with a live bream and in no time she hooked a nice one. Turns out it’s the biggest one we’ve caught this year. FWIW; This isn’t a very big Bass but it’s likely about the largest we have now since they’re making a comeback from pretty much nothing, after the poachers cleaned us out before we retired. Also it looks like the pond is well balanced with the Bass keeping the Bream in check. When we first retired in 2019 there were hundreds of small Bream and a few 10″ Bass. I was afraid that I’d have to Rotenone the pond and start over but the Bass grew and solved the problem.    😉

My #18, ifin’ someone that shouldn’t be at the pond sees a wild red-headed dude jump out of his Mule while it’s still running and he jacks a round into the old Mossberg 20 Ga pump, they seem to have a come to Jesus moment and oddly enough I’ve not seem them since. I didn’t catch the dude with the plastic Wally World Chair but he left so fast he left the chair, two reels and his tackle box. He/She hasn’t been back neither. 😀

    SHOT:

Some families no longer see a future for their transgender kids in Texas. They’re moving to states with strong civil rights protections for trans people.

Susan and Brian are parents of 5-year-old twins, including a transgender girl. (Sources in this story have requested we only use their first names, due to fears of being reported to state authorities and of online harassment.) Over the past few years, they have been affirming their daughter’s slow steps toward socially transitioning — growing out her hair, changing her pronouns and going by a feminine version of her birth name.

They are among the Texas families with a trans child who are planning to leave Texas, after recent actions from top state leaders. Susan and Brian are now looking for jobs in states with strong civil rights protections for trans people.

Two months ago, Gov. Greg Abbott called for investigations into the parents of transgender children. It was backed by a non-binding legal opinion from Attorney General Ken Paxton arguing that parents are child abusers if they allow their kids to access treatments like puberty blockers or hormone therapy. This legal argument came despite near consensus among major medical organizations that such interventions are within the standards of care.

    CHASER:

This pilot study compared mothers of boys with gender identity disorder (GID) with mothers of normal boys to determine whether differences in psychopathology and child-rearing attitudes and practices could be identified. Results of the Diagnostic Interview for Borderlines and the Beck Depression Inventory revealed that mothers of boys with GID had more symptoms of depression and more often met the criteria for Borderline Personality Disorder than the controls. Fifty-three percent of the mothers of boys with GID compared with only 6% of controls met the diagnosis for Borderline Personality Disorder on the Diagnostic Interview for Borderlines or had symptoms of depression on the Beck Depression Inventory. Results of the Summers and Walsh Symbiosis Scale suggested that mothers of probands had child-rearing attitudes and practices that encouraged symbiosis and discouraged the development of autonomy.

Y’all really have to read this.  This is so typically Biden-stupid it’s almost unbelievable.

The bizarre predicament is one of the president’s own making, after he pushed for changes to the party’s presidential nominating calendar that stripped the Granite State of its first-in-the-nation primary. The move was designed to reward South Carolina, which catapulted Biden to the nomination in 2020.

New Hampshire has been the first primary in presidential elections for about 7 decades.  It’s like the Groundhog Day of the campaign season to warn Americans they are once again about to be hit with a tsunami of political BS like never before in history.

It is highly important to New Hampshirites because nothing else of any importance ever happens in a place like New Hampshire.

But there’s a state law requiring New Hampshire’s contest be held a week before any others, and Republicans in charge of the governor’s office and state legislature are refusing to touch it. If they don’t, a primary may well be held without the sitting president putting his name on the ballot. Now, national Democrats are searching for an off-ramp. With a June deadline looming for New Hampshire to make progress on changing its law or get kicked out of the official early voting lineup, Democratic National Committee members are privately considering giving the state more time.

Thanks MHarper. When I left a little after 9:30 a room had not come available, might be a long night in the ER room. They gave her blood thinners and something through an IV that steadied and lowered her heart rate, it was running crazy from 100 up to 170, continuously. After meds it leveled out about 70, and she noticeably felt better..
