I’d been operating under the assumption that this animal was a part of the Cartel and would disappear under their protection.  But now I hear that the Cartel was looking for him too, and not to help him out.  So he really did have nothing left to lose.  Maybe when they get him to prison the Cartel can finish the… Read more »

Glad to hear the SOB killer is caught.  His lawyers will likely claim he is insane and can’t go to trial because he can’t assist in his defense, or something.

I figure the top shelf Border Patrol guys who have spent years on the US/Mexico border tracking illegals and criminals are probably the best open field trackers we have in law enforcement these days.

By the way, the same Border Patrol BORTAC unit that finally stopped the Uvalde killer are the ones who caught this evil creep in Cleveland.  They also killed the escaped convict in a shootout on the NY/Canadian border back in 2015.

I always figured the murderer was hiding in those East Texas woods and would eventually be caught.

At least he wasn’t apprehended in Mexico with the big drama over extradition and capital punishment.

That’s what I heard.  Nothing official yet, but word is out that he has been caught.  Maybe a news conference sometime,  I’m surprised he wasn’t killed while trying to escape.

I’m sure the wedding will be in Fredericksburg. I think I’ll take a week off for the first time in…..well, I don’t remember the last time. Must’ve been in the 80’s.

I’m gonna strike the Pacific War Museum off my bucket list yet.

I’ll probably get a rolling walker with a seat before I go there, though. 🙂

Just got word that the grandson is engaged. Yippee!

I thought he was going to die an old maid. He’s been pretty picky since getting burned.

I got to meet her a few months ago. I knew almost immediately that she was going to be the one.

#31 mharper42, Indeed one never knows when you say goodbye to a friend that it might be the last time you see each other.  I had that same thought several years ago when a friend and I were visiting an older friend we had worked with  for maybe 10 years.  We drove to her home in SE Houston for lunch… Read more »

#31 mharper42, You had a lovely experience with an old friend today, and that shall be a wonderful memory.  Hopefully that is not the last time you will see each other. Reminds me of the story of the crippled man buying dog food at Walmart.  The lady in line behind him asked if he had a dog.  He replied that no he did not have a dog, but he was on a dog food diet.  She then noted his difficulty walking and asked what had happened to him.  He told her… Read more »

I thought perhaps my old glasses were playing tricks on me when the Bellville DQ sign was advertising a PB Puppy Chow Blizzard. I, too, had lunch with an old friend. He wanted to share his recent ancestry search. Adopted, along with his brother, at the age of six, he had never searched out his birth mother’s story. Back in my oilfield days running Louisiana I used to know of an old grocery store that had the best boudin balls you ever did find, somewhere down the road in Crowley but I lost track of it and don’t have a clue how to find it, if it still exists.

We are headed to Lake Charles to pull on some machine arms at the Golden Nugget, planning to stop by Pats of Henderson for some first rate Cajun food. You have to ask yourself how these people could be so dumb. One prominent pro-life organization, Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, is leading the charge against Trump. SBA Pro-Life said Trump’s stance is a “morally indefensible position for a… Read more »

Very interesting profile.  I just hope the guy is sufficiently paranoid about the Chinese stealing his technology.  He’s planning on installing these units of his in remote places to recover raw lithium.  I guarantee you the Chinese will be haunting these places looking for the opportunity.

It’s too bad the governments of Bolivia and Argentina won’t subcontract their lithium mining to the Chileans.    As it is, those two dysfunctional nations are sitting on vast riches and not doing a thing with them.  I used to have a couple of copper mining customers in Chile.  Those people know how to mine and do it well.
