Sir Winston Churchill, 1874 – 1965

“Politics is the ability to foretell what is going to happen tomorrow, next week, next month and next year. And to have the ability afterwards to explain why it didn’t happen.”

and,

“If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.”

and finally,

“This is the lesson: never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never — in nothing, great or small, large or petty — never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.”

Now that’s a great picture and the quotes are even better. I’m confident that Winston Churchill is spinning in his grave seeing what has happened to his country. Another cold morning here @ 34 but we’ll be in the 70’s by noon. I’ll be glad when we finally get over this last hump.

We have a winner in the Dumbest Woman of the Week Contest !

A tech tycoon has been branded a “creep” after allegedly offering a woman $100,000 to take off her face mask on board a Delta flight.

Steve Kirsch took to Twitter to say he made the anonymous passenger the offer last Friday.

“I am on board a Delta flight right now. The person sitting next to me in first-class refused $100,000 to remove her mask for the entire flight,” the millionaire wrote. “No joke. This was after I explained they don’t work. She works for a pharma company.”

Kirsch accompanied his post with a selfie that showed him smiling on board the full flight. He did not disclose the destination to which he was traveling.

Kirsch has been a prominent critic of masks, lockdowns and “vaccine” mandates.  He was an early substack.com user also writing extensively about COVID.

We have our first practice Saturday at Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige (other side of Giddings). Our new set of shocks and lighter springs are still on order so we will have to start out with what we have. We have learned some adjustments that should help, the Hoosier tire shortage is lightning up, at a cost!, last year we had to go down a size because the correct ones were not available anywhere. So, we have two new right rears (one for spare) and two new fronts.

Other than that we have just been doing maintenance type things on the car, also been doing some rearranging in the race trailer, a WIP.

So we will see how the weather holds out, fixin to get busy!

I love it! And since Millie the 20+ y.o. cat up and died on my birthday, I do now have 6 cats. But somehow I think of a Crazy Cat Lady as having quite a bit more than 6 cats…

Grankids got to meet Altuve yesterday. They were in the outfield stands and called out to him and he came over and signed a ball for them. That’s several autographs they’ve gotten, including McCormick’s bat! They are having a ball!

Handyman brought in an Amazon delivery of ink for my computer.  My delivery instructions are to deliver to “back door,” and most drivers know to deliver to the dome home instead of the old, vacant blue house up front. (Hubby is talking more seriously about tearing it down, now that we’ve recovered the flooring we need for the Dome.  The flooring, original to the blue house, has been waiting in that large storage locker until we could get it installed upstairs.)  We’ll have to clear out the garage so Hubby can move his table saw into the garage when the time comes, but otherwise, it’s just storage for lovely memories and lots of crap.  My babies took their first steps in that house, but everything from the old garage (torn down) was moved into the vacant building and is still there.

I made a sign, big thick permanent marker on a plastic tub lid, to NOT leave orders at the door of the blue house.  Guess where the delivery guy left it?  I’m glad it didn’t get stolen.  Handyman thought he was doing me a favor by nailing that plastic lid up at eye level, so I’m asking him to lower it.   I’m guessing the (new) driver was in a hurry and didn’t look at eye level, just where he was dropping the package.

    Good Morning Hamsters,

mharper42 has kindly rescued and cared for cats that nobody wanted, some of them simply thrown out and likely left to die.  Cats are intelligent creatures and good companions for homo sapiens, in the right combinations. The relationship is successful when each knows what the other is thinking.  Same thing with horses and people, or dogs and people, and best of all people to people. 🙂

Back from the clinic.  They wanted to know if I feel safe at home, if I’m still driving, if I’ve fallen down, etc.  The nurse put a sheet of paper with a large circle on it and asked me to put the numbers on it to make a clock.  I put 12 at the top, 6 at the bottom, then 3 and 9 on the sides, and then filled in the rest of the numbers.  She then asked me to draw the hands on the clock to represent 10:50.  I asked her AM or PM, but she said it didn’t matter.  Anyway, I passed the clock test.  She said people with altimzers cannot draw a clock.  Then I told her that my kitchen clock is one of those clocks that runs backwards, and I have to think about it when I see a clock that runs in the normal direction, so that made the clock test even more difficult.

After that the phlebotomist drew about 7 or 8 vials of blood, asked me to go drain my lizard in a cup, and then I was good to go.  Too late to stop back by for coffee though.

Gor notice that my worms are arriving today.  They were not scheduled to show up until Saturday, but I pretty well had everything set, so just need to complete a couple of tasks and they should be made to feel welcome.  Found a good dark corner to start this operation off.  Inside has a much better chance of survival I would think for now, so I should be able to handle that since I live alone.  I hear of men keeping them under their kitchen sinks until the wife finds them, but I’m not keeping mine under the sink.  probably will just start them off on a diet of corn meal, oatmeal, and cardboard.  Be interesting to see if there are any survivors a month from now.  I guess the first interesting thing will be to see if any of them arrive alive.

I didn’t make Millie’s death a headline issue, but I did mention it on my FB page on my birthday Jan 25. She didn’t eat that morning, so I called the vet but they couldn’t get us in till 4 pm. I spent the morning with her in my lap but never got her to eat anything. My 80 y.o. neighbor hosted me a birthday luncheon at his house at 2 pm. At 3:45, I went home to get Millie and head to the vet about a mile away, but found her dead on the floor in my tv room. She was cold and stiff so had apparently died right after I went to my b-day party. I called the vet to report that I wouldn’t need the appointment, but I wanted to have them bury her. So I put her in a box and drove to the clinic. My favorite vet tech there, also named Millie, took the box and got the few details about her death that day.

I remember when Barf Kitty died.  I came home to find her draped halfway out of her litter box.  I picked her and laid her down on the floor, where she stretched out.  I tried to cover her with her warm blanket, but she kept crawling out from under it, so I stopped covering her.

I laid there on the cold floor with her for as long as I could.  It was late at night, and I was about to fall asleep, so I went to bed.  Maybe she was waiting for me to leave her. Who knows?  She was gone when I woke up, and Hubby and Handyman buried her in her blanket, in a place in the backyard where she’s not likely to be disturbed.

She could be a real PITA, but she was my PITA.  And a sweet cat.  Hubby claimed he didn’t like her, but the kids and I giggled quietly when we caught him absentmindedly petting her.  One of my favorite pics is of Barf Kitty draped over Hubby’s thigh as he slept in his recliner.

    Pets are special.

Millie was one lucky cat.  And to make it 20+ years – wow.

Our first dog was a part Lab pound puppy named Sheba.  She had the Labrador undercoat and was my baby.  I spent a lot of time with her teaching her commands and tricks. Hubby loved her, too.

When I became pregnant, I realized I wouldn’t be able to spend as much time with Sheba, so we got a second part Lab pound puppy, named Aggie. (She had that name before we found her.)  She was mixed with pointer, and her fur had no real undercoat but was curly and wavy.  I know about the pointer because I caught her pointing the day after we got home.   Never again, but it was cool that I saw that.

As the kids grew older and became less time consuming, I was able to play with the dogs more.  I was surprised that I didn’t see signs of a tight bond between the two, but my heart broke when Aggie passed.  Hubby buried her in the backyard, and Sheba laid on top of her grave for three days straight.  Every time I passed a window and saw Sheba keeping vigil I got a tightness in my throat.  I suppose they bonded more than I thought.

  24. Tedtam Avatar

Oh, and Aggie – one evening I was feeling rather mellow and sat out on our driveway with a doggie brush, and I brushed and brushed her fur, talking to her, for at least an hour.  She put her head in my lap for pets.  When I finally had to go inside, I gave her a kiss and a final pat before leaving her to wander into the back yard.

Hubby found her curled up and cold the next morning.

I’m so glad I had those sweet moments with her that evening.  That goes for our loved ones, too.  Never pass up a chance to let them know they are loved.

We are never promised another day, or even the next five minutes.

    Aviation News of the Day

Dramatic video captures a small plane carrying six people — including a 3-year-old and a newborn — floating safely to the ground in Brazil after the pilot deployed an onboard parachute during an emergency.

The single-engine Cirrus SR22 suffered engine failure shortly after it took off from Pampulha Airport in Belo Horizonte, in the southeastern state of Minas Gerais, about 11:30 a.m. March 11, Air Data News reported.

But disaster was averted when the pilot deployed the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System, commonly referred to as CAPS — which is a whole-plane recovery system that has so far saved 249 lives.

    Somebody caught it on video.

    This is an amazing story.

A Missouri pastor said he stopped gunmen from hurting his church’s congregation by praying for them.

Earlier this month, pastor Marquaello Futrell was in the middle of preaching a Sunday morning message at All Creation Northview Holiness Family Church in Ferguson, Missouri, when a group of men entered the church.

Laura Ingraham has the story on this preacher.  Watch the video here.

That was cool. I wonder if there’s a system for large jets?  Probably requires multiple parachutes for those big birds.

There’s a scene in the movie “War Room” where an elderly prayer warrior woman refuses to cooperate with a mugger, declaring “In the NAME of JESUS! I command you to put your knife away!”  She repeats it a few times as the mugger tries to process what’s happening and then runs off.

Later, EPWW is eating ice cream as she and her friend describe the event to the police.

Cop: “So, let me get this straight…he pulls a knife on you and you tell him to leave in the name of Jesus?”

EPWW: “Thass right.” /watches cop writing notes/ “Now, you be sure not to forget to write down Jesus.  That’s what’s wrong with this world, too many people forgetting Jesus.”  /turns to her friend/ “You gonna eat that ice cream? Here, I’ll eat it.”  Then she enthusiastically eats the ice cream.

It’s a good movie, but I skip the last minute.  Too preachy.  I think the movie would be better with those last few frames.

The C&C has made an appearance.  I hope Mr. C. is enjoying his trip.

    ETHICS ☙ Thursday, March 16, 2023 ☙ C&C NEWS

Good morning (afternoon) C&C fans, it’s Thursday! Only two more days until we’ll get back to the regular morning schedule. Today’s roundup includes: It’s Coranaversary, which celebrates government malfeasance; James O’Keefe unrolls his new media enterprise which has the best acronym ever; evidence of Pfizer tampering at Project Veritas; March shows an epidemic of sudden and unexpected pilot cardiac events; law professor opines that we need more bank board accountability to fix financial crisis; I analyze the Trump PAC’s ethics complaint against Governor DeSantis.

    ***

Yesterday, as I am sure you already know, James O’Keefe launched his new media enterprise: the O’Keefe Media Group (OMG). The video promoting his new venture was really directed at two different audiences: the obvious announcement to the public, of course, but it also contained a special secret message directed at Project Veritas’ board of directors and remaining staff. I’ll translate it for you, as best I can understand.

    Video of the announcement: https://video.twimg.com/ext_tw_video/1636037217205329922/pu/vid/640×360/C_E43C62CKptRyIU.mp4?tag=12+

The video sent a farewell message to the board: James originally started Project Veritas, not them (the initial ACORN image), but they savaged him over trivially stupid stuff like BLACK CARS, SANDWICHES, and a DANCE production — all of which appeared in sequence. The images had double meanings: James is not sorry (still using black cars), throws the disgusting Project Veritas sandwich BEHIND HIM — he’s moving on — and is Snoopy dancing into his new venture without them (the solo dance moves); in other words, he couldn’t be more happy about it.

You have to hand it to him. It was pretty brilliant.

/snip…He simultaneously trolled the board masterfully and sent a message to the firm’s other employees, who are almost certainly floundering in a morale crisis right now.

    Yeah, I caught all that.

I wonder if PV will be his first expose for the new OMG?

  30. Tedtam Avatar

As to Project Veritas…Childers’ legal instincts are spidey tingling…

While researching the OMG story for this morning’s report, I happened to review the Project Veritas timeline, and my instinctive lawyer alarm system suddenly went off as I noticed something new.

    /snip

But as I was reviewing Project Veritas’ Twitter timeline I discovered one of my favorite kinds of telltales — the absence of evidence. Shortly after putting O’Keefe on involuntary leave, Project Veritas quickly STOPPED REPORTING ON THE PFIZER STORY.

On January 31st, PV reported its video van parked outside Pfizer HQ running Jordan Walker’s face. They were taking it to Pfizer, but good, and getting plenty of press about it:

    /snip

But an only week later on February 8th, O’Keefe was placed on leave (he finally left PV on February 20th). From February 8th on, ZERO new Pfizer videos were released, and no new vans appeared outside Pfizer HQ or anywhere else.

Instead, on March 2nd, PV shifted to its brand-new exposé of Long Island schools and their covert gender program….

I don’t believe for a second that PV ran out of Pfizer material, nor have they explicitly claimed that…. They always trickle the news out a little at a time and stretch out the story. They always take advantage of their target’s responses, delighting in contradicting the target’s public statements with more material.

But not this time. Not with Pfizer.

This time, PV deviated from the normal script, and quickly wrapped the biggest story in PV history just a few weeks from its inception, and completely moved on.

    /snip

Project Veritas’ sudden lack of Pfizer coverage and its lack of continuing attention to the pharma giant — even after publicly promising they weren’t done — speaks volumes. It might even be more damning evidence than their purging of Mr. O’Keefe.

Like we all suspected, it seems.

Next C&C – another aviation issue, this time with pilots and cardiac issues:

So far this month, three pilots on three different airlines have been removed from flights due to cardiac issues. Remember, pilots are required to have a complete physical every six months in the US, and annually in Australia. So all these guys had been medically cleared for flight — recently.

On March 12th, Creative Destruction Media ran a story headlined, “Breaking: United Airlines Flight Diverted – Incapacitated Pilot In Hospital.” It published a leaked, internal Houston United Airlines memo reporting an “incapacitated” pilot was taken off a flight and sent to the hospital for chest pains:

The airline has refused any comment on the situation.  British Airways had a similar incident recently, too. The pilot died just moments before piloting an aircraft full of people.  The only good thing about that incident is that it happened BEFORE takeoff.

Virgin Australia, however, had a pilot have a health crisis 30 minutes after takeoff.  Originally, it was a “sudden and unexpected” heart attack, then the airline denied it, issuing an it was a “minor illness and the pilot is fine now” statement.

Three in one week.  Must be a record of some sort.

    Next up: banking crises

The Hill ran a common-sense opinion piece yesterday headlined, “To Prevent Bank Runs, Fix Bank Governance.”

Childers explains that banks have responsibility to shareholders, not depositors. He covers some legal grounds explaining this.  “Putting your money in the bank is the same as lending your neighbor money.”

[The professor author of the article]He suggests that states should pass laws making bank board members liable to depositors under a fiduciary duty.

…If the bank doesn’t give your money back, you can sue them for not paying you back, and that’s it. You can only sue banks for breaching fiduciary duties when the bank undertakes special extra services like giving you investment advice.

Never mind the fact that banks are referred to as “fiduciaries.” It means nothing.

So, the professor is not wrong to call for enhanced duties, and it’s a wonderful thought, but given how difficult it has been to get state legislatures — even in Florida — to consider laws enhancing duties between hospitals and patients, I think we have our work cut out for us to enhance duties between bank board members and depositors.

Yeah, that could be an uphill climb.  A lot of politicians depend on their wealthy banking friends.

  33. El Gordo Avatar

My little small order of worms arrived, complete with instructions as to what to do next.  It explained that being in the mail system in a box for a few days could be upsetting to them, and as a result, they could lose up to 70% of their body size, but that they would recover quickly.  I had the bed all prepared, opened the bag up, dropped them in on the prepared bed.  I expected them to be somewhat sluggish, but once they realized that they had been freed, the scurried off in all directions to burrow into the bedding.  Withing 5 minutes, there was not a single worm to be seen on the surface.  I did not find any dead ones, and everything smelled fresh, so hopefully odor will not be a problem inside – so long as I’m doing everything right.  I sprinkled a little oatmeal and some fresh blended egg shells with used coffee grounds on top, put a wet newspaper on top of that, covered it with a piece of cardboard cut out of a Bubbly 8 pack, put the lid on, and stuck them over into the corner with the plastic lid on top in case any of them try to make a break for it.  Hopefully they will be happy in their new home, get themselves acclimated shortly, and get more interested in eating and less interested in escaping.  Then I set up my spread sheet to keep up with everything in this venture.  So far I’ve still got less than $30 tied up in it.

  34. Tedtam Avatar

Last story is about Trump’s attempt to shut down DeSantis.  Think the Trumpster is worried?

…, the Hill ran a story yesterday headlined, “Trump-Allied Super PAC Files Ethics Complaint Against DeSantis Over ‘Shadow Presidential Campaign’.”

    /snip

Make America Great Again Inc., filed a 15-page complaint with the Florida Commission on Ethics alleging that the pro-DeSantis super PACs, state-level political contributions, and the governor’s “personally lucrative book tour” adds up to an improper, un-filed presidential campaign.

The key is Florida’s “Resign-To-Run” law, which requires any officeholder seeking a new office to resign from their current job if the terms of the two offices would overlap. … Trump’s PAC is arguing that DeSantis is violating the law by running for president (without declaring it), and should have resigned first.

They are off base. The relevant statute, § 99.012, says that:

No person may qualify as a candidate for more than one public office, whether federal, state, district, county, or municipal, if the terms or any part thereof run concurrently with each other.

The statutory key word is “qualify.” If the statute applies, DeSantis must resign to run for president ten days before “qualifying” for president, which is the formal process of filing. He hasn’t filed yet, and the deadline is way off. Even publicly announcing his intent to run would not trigger the statute. And even if DeSantis does submit his resignation, it would not be effective until the first day of the new presidential term.

But there is a serious question about whether the statute even applies. DeSantis has a solid legal argument that the law doesn’t apply to him. [Insert legal reference here]

I’m not the only one suspecting presidential campaigns are excepted from Resign-To-Run, as you can see from this excerpt from the Division of Election’s website…

    /snip

I believe all this explains why the Trump PAC filed an “ethics complaint” instead of a lawsuit… they’re arguing…DeSantis is still violating the spirit of the law by not resigning to run, and is therefore acting unethically. They bizarrely asked for the Ethics Commission to promptly remove DeSantis from the Governorship.

The Ethics Complaint is going nowhere.

… this complaint poses no real threat to DeSantis; it’s just a political stunt or a way to generate headlines.

It’s regretful that the primary seems headed toward a negative campaign. More than anything, I wish the two men would not attack each other and would just focus on presenting their own best cases to the voters.

You and me both, Mr. C.  You and me both.

But you know what? There is a bright side, due to the very compelling argument that DeSantis needs more experience in the crucible, because after he DOES declare, the democrats are certain to be merciless and it will be something the Governor hasn’t faced before.

It is one hundred percent certain that democrats would’ve attacked the Governor over Resign-To-Run even if Trump hadn’t. And DeSantis would be dealing with those lawsuits much closer to the election, and the democrats would inflame everyone about how DeSantis was breaking the law by not resigning.

In that sense, Trump’s PAC is really doing DeSantis a favor by drawing the sting of this issue now…

#29 – Unfortunately neither the professor nor the author know what they are talking about when it comes to banking matters.  If the government is expected to take care of the depositors’ risks, they will also dictate how the banks are run, like they are not doing that already.  Since the beginning of banking time, when you had over your money to the bank for deposit, it becomes the property of the bank and is no longer yours.  What you then have in return is a note from the bank promising to pay you money whenever you request it, provided they are able to do so.  If they are not able to do so, they they are broke and your note that you hold from the bank is worth whatever you can get for it.  Businesses and companies go broke and owe money to creditors that they cannot repay all the time, and a bank is no different.  So the banking business is dependent upon the people’s trust to stay in business – if everybody went in to demand their money at the same time, they would all be bust.  So the level of security for your deposit is contingent upon how much freedom you are willing to give up to the government for that security.  Realistically, I don’t know why anyone uses a bank anymore anyway for anything except routine transactions.  Just go buy US treasury issues and cut out the middle man – they are just as liquid and are the safest financial instrument on planet earth.  Where do our enemies, our friends, and everyone else in the world with money go to invest – good old US Treasury.

As far as SVB, eventually everyone should recover almost all their money, even before the government stepped in and bailed it out.  But it would not have been available on call like they are used to.  So no, I do not want the government interfering in the banking system more than they already are.    These banks did not go broke from the usual case of making bad loans – they merely borrowed short term (deposits due on demand) and invested long term (long term bonds trying to achieve better yields).  Interest rates go up, bond prices go down.  When the music stopped, they had huge unrecognized losses that they had to take to liquidate the bonds to pay off the depositors.  About as simple as you can make it.  Poor management decisions, but no worse than many others that are made by big shot businessmen all the time.

My son, 24 years old, only has one close friend who didn’t get the vaxx. He knows the next couple of years will be tough. Like watching a horror film you can’t turn off.

On the PV front, I believe Pfizer had everything to do with James being ousted. Im thrilled to see he’s back and I hope he turns PV into a memory hole of time, they deserve nothing less.

So wokeness is ruining our banks – and of course ruining our military. Purging the patriots from the military enables the Govt to enact tyrany and facism. Russia & China fears not.

Dozens of ‘Diversity Manager’ jobs for $100K pay. Designed to run off the high performers. Seems to be working, sampling the comments:

    – My son was well on his way to a great career in the Army but recently bailed. He simply could not take the wokeness any longer. The new leadership is petty, vindictive, hold grudges, are inexperienced, do not work for the respect of the soldiers and generally make everyone’s life miserable. Too bad, they lost a great guy there.

    – My nephew bailed for the same reasons. He said he became a babysitter to adults who act like spoiled kids that were owed something simply because they were breathing and didn’t want to put in any effort to learn their jobs. Once again China laughing at us. I was on a military base just the other day, I couldn’t believe all the overweight people I saw. I don’t think they could run 100 feet without collapsing.

I had my 2011 Corolla inspected yesterday, and just now registered and paid on-line. This is so much better than when we had to go to the county courthouse and line up to pay cash or write a check…

One thing I especially hated was how people running for a local office would work the crowd that was wound around the courthouse, wanting to give you their literature and shake your hand…

Bailouts are very easy to start. And very hard to stop. Especially when sophisticated people have figured out how to make money from them.

What happens next? Where and how does all this end? I don’t know. But it WILL end. Eventually these excesses will have to be unwound, gradually or suddenly. When they are, you can bet that all the people who have made fortunes from cheap cash for the last 15 years will be reaching into someone else’s pockets to save themselves – just as they did over the weekend.

And the only pockets left will be the federal government’s.

    In other words, yours.

I recently renewed my registration online, too, even though doing so in person in Bellville is a breeze.

The State sent me a snail mail letter confirming my successful renewal and to expect my sticker in the mail, soon.

I wasn’t particularly pleased when the same letter indicated that should the Postal Service lose my sticker, I would have to go to my local office and pay another $6.50 for a duplicate.

I agree.  Trump without the childish ego would be so much better.  The way he lashes out, calls name, fabricates stories (was it Cruz’s father who was supposed to an assassin or something like that?)…

He’d be so much better if he could control those behaviors.  He’d be unstoppable.

#41 TT:  NOw Trump is just a lightning rod that the incompetent electrician hooked up to the main breaker box.  Desantis has been playing this whole thing correctly, at this point I think he is the better choice for the country.

Our good friend blancolirio has his perspective and detail analysis on the drone that was struck by the Russian pilot with some insight that none of us are probably aware of.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVzLV-R_-kk  Pretty short as well.

He’d be so much better if he could control those behaviors.

    This is not uncontrolled behavior.

He sees it as a previously successful strategy that destroyed 15 or 16 primary opponents last time around.

I think it makes a lot of voters detest him. And can make it difficult to find needed allies following a successful election.

Not everyone is going to take repeated, brutal kicks in the nuts and then turn around and help you down the road, like Ted Cruz did.

Why should I believe that Trump can tame the Swamp?

He had some amazing accomplishments as President.

But – outside of family members –  how many truly loyal, competent, non-Lizard Executive Branch appointments was he able to make last time?

Ten? Twenty? Less than ten? Out of hundreds?

As they say, personnel is policy.

But – outside of family members –  how many truly loyal, competent, non-Lizard Executive Branch appointments was he able to make last time?

Donald Trump stepped into a world utterly foreign to him and blew it time and again listening to the fools gathered around him about who he should appoint to high level positions.  Washington DC is full of vipers and nasty Orwellian figures who are loyal only to their own wicked self interests.

Would he do a better job a second time around ?  I don’t know, but I’m not looking forward to it.

DeSantis is attractive to me because he can speak in entire paragraphs (even two or three) about issues that are important to me.
He does better than Trump, up against the media retards. Never let’s them distract him from the subject at hand.

Agreed. At the risk of being canceled as a Never-Trumper, it really ticks me off he’s playing it this way. Did Cruz the same way, dirty.

Getting about bedtime out here again.  The cold front has moved through with some strong northerly winds, but the rain was all north of us.  Last I saw was a forecast for about 40 in the morning, so my plants should be able to handle that.

I find it difficult to believe that in and among this group there are so many who are more interested in the cosmetics of the Presidency in stead of the actual results and achievements.  I like DeSantis, I like Trump, and I like Cruz.  I’d be happy with any of those as candidates for President, and I think each of them would put forth policies that are good for the country.  Just say no to Nooky Haley and the rest of those frauds.

You all have a good night now.  More later.

    #51 El Gordo,

Yea, here’s a vote for your opinion about candidates.  One must think about who can do the best job for our nation and review what Trump accomplished.  Scared the livers out of those bastards who would harm us, and  it only took on demonstration of what he did and would do again.  Recall that if you regard him as an SOB, he is Our SOB.  🙂
