From what I found, it was Eagles by 1.5 points, and the over/under was 51. Looks like they whiffed on both of those. 1.5 point spread is basically a “pick-’em” so KC by 3 is still within the margins I suppose – can’t really call it an upset. Just your every day black on black ball game.
I did something that I’ve not done in years, I watched the Super Bowl, all of it and what a game. I didn’t really have a dog in the hunt but since Jalen Hurts is the QB for the Phillies I wanted to watch. And I wasn’t disappointed even if he didn’t pull it out. It was a great game.… Read more »
BTW, I just heard that the all female fighter pilot group was able to do a fly over the SB site without crashing in to anyone, and in fact they all landed safely at their destination once they were done. Congratulations ladies.
As promised, I watched Dan Gryder’s Probable Cause Sunday live edition, and since there have been no General Aviation accidents in the entire month of February so far, there was little news to talk about. The pilots involved in the JFK runway incursion are refusing to talk on the record, and the cockpit voice recorders were not pulled and have… Read more »
And what is going on with the weird traction or lack thereof on the field ? Guys falling down everywhere and that announcer new member noticing Jalen Hurts changing his cleats at the end of the first quarter. They said there is so decoration paint on the field it has made the surface slippery. It seems stupid.

My grandmother passed away on my mom’s birthday. It’s been rough on mom the past 11 years. Mixed emotions is an understatement.
Our mother died 17 years ago this coming Thursday, February 16, 2006. Valentine’s Day week isn’t necessarily a happy week for me, but I would never ruin anybody else’s joy over it.
By the way, Bff’s birthday was February 15, and she passed away a week after that – so it’s almost 1 year that she’s been gone. Seems like it was only a couple weeks ago. Life goes on.

I took a nice long nap, felt very refreshed, went back to the driveway and swept up 2 more bags of plant debris. Not sure when I’ll get that job finished. It’s supposed to rain tomorrow.
You’re going to have to turn in your Real Man Card if you don’t get another grill. How can you live without a grill unless you’re going to become one of those vegan pod people ? Oh, I did go to the Mexican joint and ate my two chicken enchiladas, and they were excellent again. My buddy did not show up, so I left. Score was 7-7 when I left, but I was watching my enchiladas to make certain no one got them rather than watching the game. I’m afraid that those Girl Scout Thin Mint… Read more »
George Foreman has certainly proved to dominate the grilling market at my house. If I have company or do a big slab or ribs or something I’ll go outside, but for daily living and grilling needs, it Foreman with the TKO. I’ve been waiting several years now for my original GF grill go quit working so I could replace it… Read more »

Shannon – the first thing that caught my eye was that lovely cross way off across the room. But the furniture piece is nice, too. As regards the ball game: I would much rather watch a good military style marching band than any of the crap they have nowadays. Don’t wanna support woke, so…….nope. I’d watch for the commercials, but… Read more »

At some point this week, I heard that this officiating crew called more penalties than any other this year. These crews work together throughout an entire season. Supposedly, the best are awarded the honor of working the Super Bowl.
May they stifle themselves and let the players play tonight.
No matter what happens I’m tuning in to Dan Gryder’s Probable Cause at 8PM on YT. Speculation is that the SB will cut back on Dan’s audience considerably for his live Sunday evening broadcast. I’m betting just the opposite. Dan’s an obnoxious ahat, but he’s all about aviation safety, and I tend to think aviation safety is a good idea… Read more »
So, football season is officially over for now.
Shannon, I also liked the short commercials for Gutfeld. Tyrus and Kat Timpf were on also along with Gutfeld’s dog.

I don’t know because I wasn’t really interested, but I think the Eagles were favored by the bookies.
What was the line on the SB?

Wilford Brimley won the Super Bowl.

Glad you felt well enough to leave your house and visit with neighbors. That is definite progress!

That’s just great Texmo.
Just FYI.
Apple pie ready in 6 minutes.
Never count out Andy Reid and friends. Until it’s over.
What a cool play.
TD!!!
I got out of the house for something other than a doctor’s appointment this evening by going to a neighbor’s house for the first half. It was nice.
The players have that blue and red paint from the NFL logo all over their uniforms.

Unfortunately, Joe Buck and Troy Aikman left Fox.
But apparently you and I are the only ones who liked them.

That’s a NO CATCH.
Are all NFL announcer crews this bad ? Fox doesn’t enough money to hire good help or what ?

No Super Bowl at this house tonight. Watching “All Creatures Great and Small” on PBS.
We don’t have a dog in that hunt since the Packers aren’t in it.
That’s two mini commercials for Gutfeld!
Excellent.

I hadn’t fired up the grill in at least four years. One of three burners was dead. I was glad to get it out of the back yard.
Does anybody have George Foreman’s number for me?

I gave away my grill this week.
I wish it was still out there and some woman was cooking a medium rare ribeye and baked potato on it right now.

It’s nice that Jalen Hurts is a Houston boy from a nice family.
But I can’t root for any team from FilthyDelphia.
Dr phil Goodbox?
WTF?
The Constitution of LST and Hambone clearly states that only one person from the Box family is allowed.
For obvious reasons.
Shannon – #110 VEEEEERY Nice
#111 made me wonder which Super Bowl it was when MJ torched his hair… Hadda have been 93-94ish… Not curious enough to look it up, YET (LOL)
I missed that one too unckyay.
By the way, Love Boat Boy
The Who played the Super Bowl in 2010 in Miami.
I guess I missed that one, too. Dammit.
