The thing that drives me crazy is Copy/Paste are keyboard commands Only with the Trackpad.

I’ve never used any keyboard shortcuts or created any custom ones in my life. 🙂

Bedtime has arrived again out here in centex.  Getting pretty cool this evening but looking for 70 tomorrow; then back to cooler again.  I’m just leaving the lamp on in the greenhouse, but when it warms up tomorrow I may open it up and shut the light down for a while.  My brother went to the funeral for the owner… Read more »

The only thing really driving me crazy is Apple has the scroll wheel running in the opposite direction.  Up is Down, Down Is Up.  It has been really hard to retrain my mind/hand to work the other way.  It’s funny how embedded your motor skills become over the years.

It is one of those things that make you go huh?  but sort of.  the program I think he is using is non-destructive meaning you make a change and keep your original picture.  It really is a good function.

So Windows “Save As” = Macs “Export”?

Heck I’d bang my head on the wall too. 🙂  Fortunately I do actually have some good friends and relatives that could help me out if I ever make the switch to a Mac.

59 Shannon The gulping air syndrome is only one form of cribbing.  Is it a vice ?  I think that’s a strange way to define it, but then Merriam-Webster is so self-consciously leftwing and woke I avoid them like the plague. Actually, my favorite is The Free Dictionary.  I like their format with incorporated thesaurus and medical, legal, finance dictionaries… Read more »

I always thought cribbing was simply chewing on boards, however Merriam-Webster defines it as:

2
: a vice of horses in which they grasp a solid object (such as a stall door) with their teeth and gulp air

Once a horse starts cribbing on wooden boards or planks, it can become like an obsessive/compulsive behavior.  I saw it most in horses who spent too much time in stalls, barns or pens and didn’t get ridden or worked enough.  It began as a nervous reaction to boredom.  Horses need exercise and work, just like people and dogs.

My physical therapist visits are down to once a week now with several new exercises added to help my lower back stiffness that comes and goes.  The irritated sciatic nerve is much less irritated but can be sneaky about returning.  These are two separate things that just happened to overlap about the same time. TexMo – ROTFLOL… The last few years that I worked, my personal home “confuser” was Mac, while my work one was still Winders-based… And I survived that – I have confidence that Texpat will someday become “bilingual” and be able to navigate both equally adeptly (or ineptly, as I did some days)

The corruptocrats that run our government need fresh meat for their fetishes and addiction to pedophilia; this is why they have opened the floodgates of illegal alien invasion.  This is just one reason why the invasion is happening.

I believe one can support strict border enforcement and highly restrictive immigration policies and still follow the teaching of Jesus Christ concerning refugees and “the least of these.” However, I think there is plenty of evidence that the Catholic Charities, the NGO’s, and the United Nations are all guilty of facilitating the highly profitable transnational human trafficking industry. May these… Read more »

This is a shocker and it’s revealed at NPR, of all places. Who is he? Well, in Christianity, he’s known as the son of God. The ads all stem… Read more »
