Naw, I am the last. Dang blast it, I just wasn’t able to go to the Old Gang party. I felt like I was coming down with something, but nothing much came of that. I know I’m sick of the cold weather.
Nothing new to report from out here. It’s a little early for bed just yet, so I’ll find something to watch for a few minutes and then turn in, Hope I don’t wake up and find that big old Chinese weather balloon staring at me through the window. Shannon, then you’d HATE this pizza crust recipe… but we love it. I guess that’s what makes the world go round. #64 – Mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnny mQQns ago I recall some sort of ready made pizza dough balls (total guess – at Kroger)
All ya had to do was bring it home, let it rise in a covered bowl, then roll it out to your preferred size / thickness. ‘Twas pretty darned good crust!
And we have a new pizza joint in town that is pretty darn good.
The last thin crust Red Baron frozen pizza I bought was really quite good. I, of course, doctored it up with lots more pepperoni, jalapeños, mushrooms, and some extra mozzarella.
Shannon – did you find a pizza in your freezer? I can send you the recipe for the best pizza crust ever, and the jarred pizza sauce isn’t bad – we’ve used both Mama Maria’s and Classico. We’ve actually been known to freezer half of one because I make them on a BIG cookie sheet… but usually we have leftover… Read more »
All the outdoor plants that have been under the tarp for the past few days got a breath of fresh air and some sunshine today, even if it wasn’t all that warm – low 50’s. Well, I did go back to bed and slept till 4. Got up with sniffles and a stiff neck. I had a bite to eat, and just emailed my regrets to the 2 old friends hosting the slb party tonight.
Our uncle, Dad’s older brother, claimed to have bought the first Apple computer in the Houston area. He had read about the small startup in California and saw a small ad for them in the back of a magazine. He called Apple, ordered a computer and mailed them a check. He had a business trip scheduled to the West Coast… Read more »
This was a pretty good stretch of cold weather for us.
Gov. Abbott was brilliant to borrow George Bush’s weather machine, causing an I-35 ice storm from San Antone to Dallas. Downed power lines reduced demand, leaving plenty of grid power for us in East and West Texas.
Texmo Really at the end of the day it does not matter to me what anyone uses. I have used every iteration of Windows including CE from 3.1 up. I figure people gotta use what they are familiar with.
