TUCKER CARLSON: Here’s what a source said about the CIA and JFK’s assassination
Tucker Carlson questions whether the CIA had a role in JFK’s death

Got my coffee, comfy chair, a fine cuban cigar.  I am gonna go sit and wait for someone to tell me they already posted this. Or maybe not.  I posted the Carlson story because it was the best one to go with the Solzhenitsyn quote.

Taking a moment to check in. I’m able to go to the bathroom if Hubby helps me get up of the couch. I found out pretty quick that holding my hands to pull me up hurt me and he knows we have to grab elbows instead. Even then there an involuntary grunt of pain.

The toilet riser and bedrails should arrive today and that will improve my quality of life. I hope.

I don’t know why, but my left leg hurts aheckuva lot more then my right. Most of my pain was on that side pre-op so maybe the nurse was right when she said that maybe he had to do more work on that side. I have to call this morning and make my 2 week follow-up appointment and I will be sure to mention it then.

Anyway, the pain pills make me exceedingly drowsy, so most of my days are spent laying down in the couch, sleeping and trying not to move to much.   I just took another set of pills and I’m lucid, so I thought I’d check in.

I don’t normally like to take pills, but I think I’ll make an exception in this case.

Morning gang.  Just in time for Christmas, the heat in my Kitchen area quit yesterday.  It’s a heat pump several years old which was scheduled for replacement right after the first of the year since it has outlived its useful life as an AC, so looks like I’ll try to expedite that replacement project.  The remainder of the house is heated separately, but I want to be sure we keep enough heat flowing in here to keep the pipes from freezing.  Everything is underneath in the crawl space, so ambient heat leaks through the floor to prevent pipe freezing.  Fortunately I have no piping in the exterior walls, so that helps.

In other news, it’s just too early to comment.  Glad that TT is able to get up and around a little bit.  Don’t rush it, but it should get a little bit easier after a couple of days.  You all have a good day, and I’ll report back later as the situation requires.

A little late checking in this morning but it is good to see a post from Tedtam we just need an updated report on TexMo. I got out whacked down a Christmas tree yesterday and yes I know I’m late and my wife even thought we might dig up a small cedar and use it until we could replant it but I wanted a full size one not real big but a 6 footer. I’m not putting out the yard decorations down at the Farm House but I did put wreaths on the gates and lights along the gate and fence behind the old house.

A couple of comments here from me to Shannon late last night:

I’m looking at Weather Underground and they’re saying 16° on Friday morning at 7 AM with a 2° wind chill factor.  You better turn that water off on Thursday evening.

You’ve got a 19° wind chill factor on Thursday night at 8 PM.

    and,

At the same time it will be 16° on Friday morning at 7 AM in Bellville, it will be 53° in Bergen County, NJ and raining like hell.

    No kidding.

I’m still shaking my head over the second one.

I was a conspiracy skeptic over JFK for decades, but in the last few years watching the entire American intel community prove itself to be rotten to the core has changed my mind.  Thousands of pages still classified ?!

Vincent Bugliosi’s 4,300 page magnum opus, Reclaiming History: The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy, in 2007 was supposed to be the final word on November 22, 1963 and the events surrounding it. Bugliosi, the former LA prosecutor, was convinced it was a one man job after years of his personal investigation.  If key evidence was unavailable to him and he had to have known that, why would he make such a claim ?  Was Bugliosi compromised by the CIA ?

I remember reading interviews in the 1970s with a couple of Watergate figures from the Nixon White House who had been working with the CIA on Cuba back in the late 1950s.  They were deeply involved in organizing the Bay of Pigs invasion and disaster.  When Kennedy slammed shut all US covert and overt support at the very last minute for the assault and left the Cuban insurrectionists to be slaughtered by Castro’s forces, these guys were extremely bitter towards JFK.  They were explicit and still furious nearly 15 years later.  Their hatred for Kennedy was palpable.  It would be unsurprising to find irrefutable proof of CIA involvement in the assassination.

Here is your bizarre story for the day.  It happened back in March, but I missed it.

A 21-year-old woman allegedly stabbed her date inside a Nevada hotel room in retaliation for the death of an Iranian military leader killed in a US drone strike in 2020, authorities said.

Nika Nikoubin, 21, has been charged with attempted murder, two counts of battery and burglary of a business. She is being held on $60,000 bail.

Nikoubin and the man — whom she met on the dating website Plenty of Fish — agreed to meet at the Sunset Station Hotel and Casino in Henderson, on March 5, renting a room together, police in the city near Las Vegas said. The victim picked her up from her home and drove her to the hotel. Nikoubin apparently took a shower to freshen up and then went to the lobby to get orange juice to put in the alcohol the victim brought, according to the police report.

I do understand that and I remain open to any evidence but after I read Posner’s book; Case Closed I pretty much decided that Oswald acted alone and Jack Ruby accidentally came across Oswald as he was being led out of the basement of the Dallas Police Department. Posner didn’t have a dog in the hunt and debunked most of the conspiracy theories. I don’t have time to do a book report but Oswald got the job at the book depository months before JFK was to drive by. Oswald only found out about JFK’s visit a few days before and had a friend drive him to the Dallas suburbs to get his rifle that was hidden in the garage where his wife was living. He brought it back disassembled and wrapped in brown paper. The package was about 28″ long and he told the driver it was curtain rods. I’ve been to the Sniper’s Nest at Dealy Plaza and any 10 year old kid from Alabama could have easily made the shot debunking the theory that it was a hard shot. And yes the 6.5 MM Carcano was plenty accurate enough to make the head shot. As for Jack Ruby, he went into town with his little dog to wire a Western Union money order to one of his dancers in his T,…..well his club she need the money to bail her boyfriend out of jail in Oklahoma. Oswald was to be transferred at 10 AM sharp and all the media was notified but the FBI wanted to interview him one more time and so he was transferred at 11 AM. Jack ruby wired the money at 10:50 something or 11, I don’t remember but after he left the Western Union Office he just happened by the area where the police had it roped off but since Ruby was friendly with the police one of the officers let him pass and he shot Oswald with the 38 he always carried. He left his dog in the car for 10 minutes or so and wouldn’t have brought the dog that he loved if he thought he’d be arrested.

SO! I could be wrong and somehow all of this was altered by someone in the FBI/CIA, I don’t know but I’ll have to have better evidence than all the hearsay than the Conspiracy “Book Sellers” are spouting. I do agree that the FBI and CIA are corrupt and have been for a long time and having the files still sealed does seem suspect so I’ll keep an open mind but if you have any real interest in the topic do read; Case Closed and it least keep an open mind about it.

One more thing I hope I didn’t open a big can of worms and I’m not here to argue just state what I think.

This is a terrifying story.  Years ago, my daughter was in college 900 miles away when she had to have emergency surgery for appendicitis.  She lost a whole semester because of it.

Jake Tapper’s 15-year-old daughter, Alice Tapper, revealed she “almost died” from appendicitis last year after doctors misdiagnosed her.

Alice explained in a new op-ed for CNN that she was hospitalized after developing “severe abdominal pain” and a fever, so her parents asked about the possibility of appendicitis; however, because she was “tender all over” and not just on one side, doctors dismissed the possibility and concluded she had a viral infection.

This is staggering.  No wonder businesses can’t find help.

Today’s welfare programs are failing to accomplish that goal.

Did you know that families earning half a million dollars a year can receive ObamaCare subsidies? Or that in some states, unemployment insurance benefits can be equivalent to a job with annual pay of $100,000?

It’s shocking but true, and it might explain why so many businesses can’t get workers back on the job almost three years after COVID-19 hit these shores. Today there are still at least 3 million fewer Americans working than there were in 2019.

There are many reasons for the worker shortage, but one is that in many states, welfare pays more than or nearly as much as respectable middle-class jobs.

Under Presidents Barack Obama and Biden, many of the highly effective work requirements, which were instituted in the historic 1996 bipartisan welfare reforms, have been eviscerated. Often limits for public benefits have also disappeared while Congress and states have made benefits more generous.

Follow the link and look at the chart listing each state.

These people should be banned for life from ever working with children. This story is from Maine.

A Damariscotta mom demanded the resignation of several public school officials at a school board meeting Wednesday following her discovery that a school social worker had begun secretly transitioning her 13-year-old daughter’s gender.

In an emotionally charged address to the school board, Amber Lavigne said a Central Lincoln County School System (CLCSS) social worker at Great Salt Bay Community School in Damariscotta provided a chest binder to her daughter — a gender transitioning device the employee encouraged the young girl to keep secret from her parents.

Lavigne said she’d never met the social worker — Samuel Roy — and had no idea school employees were secretly working to put her daughter on the path to gender transition. Other officials in the school also participated in the young girl’s social transition, using masculine pronouns to address her.

    RE: JFK

The truth on this event is so obfuscated and time has distanced us so far from the assassination I am not sure we will ever know THE TRUTH.  I do lean on the side of a single shooter doing the act but from that point on I cannot declare it was Oswald that did the deed.

Trying to separate facts from pure bovine processed hay has become problematic because of the passage of time.   I believe the Warren Report which I consider a fair presentation of SOME of the evidence but the question has to be asked as more documentation is released what did they leave out?  How many document dumps on JFK have we seen over the past 60 years.  With each dump we seem to be treated with more questions and less provable facts.

Thousands of pages still classified ?!

And it is because of that fact I think we will never know who did what and why.  Frankly I do not want to play anymore.

Monday on FBN’s “Mornings with Maria,” House Republican caucus leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said a Republican-controlled House of Representatives was contemplating a “Church-style investigation” to look into potential past intel agency abuses.

The Church committee was a 1975 U.S. Senate select committee named for former Sen. Frank Church (D-ID) to investigate alleged abuses by the Central Intelligence Agency, National Security Agency, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Internal Revenue Service.

Host Maria Bartiromo suggested former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe, who McCarthy said was “ideal” for the role.

I’m going to be the first to say it here.  I’ve been mulling it over and while I think Representative Chip Roy is going to make a run for John Cornyn’s Senate seat, I believe the best candidate for the job is John Ratcliffe.

    Arlo Guthrie Edition:

Stopped by the neighborhood liquor store to pick up a 12-pack. As I was backing into the parking spot (just a habit from working around refineries) I had a flashback to about 35 years ago. I was picking up a keg at the liquor store in Willis and backed my truck up so I could load the keg easily. I left the truck running because it was hot and 35 years ago in Willis you didn’t have to worry about someone jacking your truck. As I was coming out of the store the local cop told me to freeze. I resisted the temptation to fold my arms and go “Brrrrr!”. He then asked me the strangest question a cop has ever asked me:Son, don’t you know that it’s illegal in the state of Texas to back your vehicle up to a liquor store and leave it running with the doors open?

Had to crack up laughing. How would I or anyone else possibly know that? I thought I was in an Arlo Guthrie story. He let me go with a warning.
