The couch has been cleared of newspapers and loose coins. Y’all can come over for a Friday sit.
GJT, FWIW; I’ve been kinda’ wanting a grapple but have not been able to justify it but once I have the third function I may revisit it.
GJT the third function is ridiculously expensive, $1200 + $300 to install. As far as the three functions working at the seam time they will, IF you have enough GPM so if the mower is spinning, the other functions will be sluggish, not the fault of the equipment but that the tractor was designed with a 7 GPM hydraulic system… Read more »
SD, this is a comment on my BX group, don’t know if it applies to your model. Apparently there is quite a difference in brands. Seems it would be pretty important to be able to use all functions at once. I have the one from summit. I purchased it last winter for $579. It was a fairly easy install. Dealer… Read more »

GOOOOOOOOOOOOO ‘STROS!
How much to install the third function?
Shannon, I loved SNL “Land Shark” back when comedy was still legal. Oh and GJT, thanks for posting the video, one of the best I’ve seen but the dude didn’t show the tilt down for the side of a bank. Looking at the mower when it’s extended to the side you can see 3 holes for the stop pin 90,… Read more »
El Gordo, you getting rain? The local weather gal showed the front that’ll be here Sunday and it looked like it’s out in your neck of the woods now.

Morning gang. Here’s Ammo Grrrll. https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2022/10/thoughts-from-the-ammo-line-451.php You all have a great day.
Man this week flew by. Shannon our grass is gonna get watered eleven-twelvish.
Is it Friday? Seems like it.
Anyways Mornin’ Gang
Getting some rain at Chez Harp, fortunately the critters got their back yard chow long before the rain started. There is still one young possum out there under the breezeway. I looked ahead on the weather report for tomorrow and right now the forecast is dreadful for my 2:30 pm appointment for my Medicare Fall checkup. Due to something causing… Read more »
Super Dave is going to keep making trails until he runs out of trees and ends up with a pasture.
Can’t believe that thing would pass whatever safety regulations there are for tractor implements, thing looks nasty with a fool at the controls. Maybe since they put a sticker saying not California EPA approved it’s all good.
Lane Shark. Get it, make a lane in the trees?

Nite all.
Maybe he meant Land Shark.
I think for Christmas I’m asking for a set of edge tamers, mostly meant for snow removal but I’m thinking it could be helpful in picking up leaves and spreading dirt. I wanna 3 point rake but they’re damned expensive for no more than what they are.
SD, never heard of a Lane Shark but looks very handy. I think I’d want a grapple if I had a third function.
Tomorrow, it’s the cigar store and The United States Military Academy, also known as West Point – 50 miles north of New York City. Situated on the site of an old fort overlooking the Hudson River from a strategic high point.
FWIW; I may have really screwed up. I headed up to Troy today and stopped off at the tractor place to ask them about “Lane Shark”. Like what do they know about them and would my wimpy 7 GPM hydraulic system run the thing like they say it will. Well, he says I have one in stock and yes it’ll… Read more »
But Bones promised me half a turkey breast. And some trimmings.
Didja’ make the cigar store with the walk-in Humidor? Google maps shows it to be about 2 miles from Texpat’s place.

Turns out my Latin class is canceled this evening, so I have more time to study and practice.
It’s quite beautiful up here with the fall color. Some really neat neighborhoods.
First stop was indeed the best pastrami on rye I’ve ever eaten.
Then the wine store, of course.
Squawk,
I used to watch Canadian Prepper, but he got too “WORLD’S GONNA END TOMORROW! WAIT, NO, THIS AFTERNOON! HOLY COW, DUCK! DUCK NOWWWWWWWWWWWW!“
I see Mharper overlooked my C&C post…/sigh I know, I know – I’m guilty of “not reading above” as well. Just got home. I dropped off a check to my investor buddy, then the lady at the thrift shop told me she had some canning jars for me. I went to bank in between and ended up in a discussion… Read more »

Dang, she’s lost a step.
San Fran Nan pooted. I heard it all the way to here. Bout a 4.7
Didn’t San Fran just recently have a quake?
I am stealing this quote from Canadian Prepper.
Could this be the quake that causes L.A. to separate and float off into the Pacific?
How you sposed to pickup lot lizards?
Not that I would know if it works or not.

SuperTruck II. Found an intro video. Sleeper accommodations are dang nice. I am not real sure about mid cab driving position. That would take a bit of getting used to.

Good morning, all. Finally got some chilly going on in H-town.
As promised yesterday evening. Natural gas prices at the Waha hub in West Texas fell into negative territory Oct.25, 2022, as surging Permian basin production collided with offtake constraints. Spot market pricing for next-day delivery dropped as low as -$2.25/MMbtu. Front-month Henry Hub-basis NYMEX futures transacted at $5.613/MMbtu on the same day. Ongoing repairs at Freeport LNG’s 2.1-bcfd plant on… Read more »
