96 Squawk Part of the registering problem with this blog is this old green theme. I’m good at what I do in maintenance but I cannot rewrite the theme code that causes the problem. Bedtime creeping up out here. I’ll probably watch someting on TV for a few minutes, but for some reason the heat seems to be getting to me and I’m just tired. So hope that you all have a good evening, and I’ll be checking back in tomorrow. Nite nite you all.
BTW – I was running errands before stuff got started in the late afternoon. One of the errands was to the thrift store to see if they had any canning jars. They didn’t but the little Baptist church along the way had two at their garage sale. I had noticed some piles out for heavy trash pickup. I’m always on… Read more »

#117 Shannon – corn meal-fried is for “patty pan” (white scalloped flat space-ship looking ones) squash because that’s the way Mama cooked them – softish in the middle, and crispy on the outside… but I don’t sauté the yellow one til they are mushy – my preference is more towards the al dente side, as well…
I believe this may be the first time that I’ve been involved in a live blogging colonoscopy prep. Ole Miss took out Arkansas to take the remaining spot at the CWS, so now it will be the best of 3 between Ole Miss and Oklahoma. Frankly, I’m not surprised that Ole Miss is there, but I am surprised at OU. … Read more »
