Weekend OC

The Democrat Party seems to be all in a tizzy over undisclosed donations to conservative non-profit groups:

“Groups that receive foreign money are spending huge sums to influence American elections — and they won’t tell you where the money for those ads comes from,” Obama said at a rally in Maryland. “So this isn’t just a threat to Democrats. This is a threat to our democracy.”

And nationalizing private industries is good for our democracy? Anyway, Democrats don’t seem to have a problem with undisclosed donations from their groups. Take the Democracy Alliance Click Expand on the Map Tools bar to the left of the diagram to see the whole thing. You can also click on one box, George Soros for instance, and expand his relationships.

#107/108 Bigs! I’m glad to see that you’re healthy enough to be your usual feisty self. Keep it up dude. I grew up in the same country that your did. Forever fond in my heart are the fat Cajun Catholic ladies that served up the free lunch at my school when I needed it most, and often had a kitty… Read more »

#86 Darren, do you dare to deny that the horrible and inexcusable violence related to the abject stupidity that was alcohol prohibition declined substantially after that failed experiment of overreaching government authoritah was ended? (a) legalizing it will NOT eliminate drug-based violence and (b) alcohol plays no small part in their violent activites. So bob is just a sel-interested fool… Read more »

#98 Texanadian, I’m voting straight ticket republican in November because every day I tremble in fear about the possibility that a pregnant lesbian Mexican Muslim narco-terrorist might sneak across the border with a suitcase nuke, sell meth to my kids, drop the anchor baby, blow up the hospital, and marry my sister.

And I don’t even have a sister.

I see from a story linked on Drudge that Cheney was able to pack a 10,000 seat event. How many were supposed to be in TBO’s failed speech? 650? I notice that he’s sticking to college campi now. The young and foolish are the only ones he’s able to find in large enough numbers to keep him from looking like… Read more »

Except that we have a much longer border with Mexico than they have on the south — mostly with Guatemala. So the flip wouldn’t give us a complete fence. But at least there would be less of Mexico butted up against us. Okay, so Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas would have Pacific Ocean borders. We could then deal with Guatemala to… Read more »

I just meant, I can understand the full cover on a nun, a religious virgin. But on a wife & mother, it just doesn’t compute. Modest dress, yes, amen sister. The tent? A lot wrong with those people & their culture.

I would never criticize the garb of a nun, but this gal is presumably a housewife & living here in the USA. I didn’t take your comment as a criticism of nuns or anyone else other than the women who think their religion compels them to walk around wearing a Coleman 3-person tent so that their male relatives won’t go… Read more »

we’ll flip the country of Mexico upside down. Then we’ll have a fence.

#94, #95 TT – Hmm, overly revealing clothes are the other side of that shrouded coin. Bikinis are fine at the beach, but a lot of Western young women do dress slutty. I read an article, which I can’t find at this moment, that talked about how women were supposed to keep their sexual organs covered. The hijab and niqab, which would cover the woman from top to bottom, obviously push the point that in Islam, the woman’s whole body is a sex organ. Or, in other words, Muslim men are incapable… Read more »

Nowhere is the failed ideology of the left on display with greater fanfare than in today’s political advertising where the Democrats are all doing their very best to disavow their association with President Obama and the policies their party voted for. However I do point out that what the most oppressive, most dictatorial, most fascist countries in the world fear most, what they fear more than death, bombs, or invasions, is the free exchange of information and ideas between the people they oppress within their borders and the more fortunate free people living in the rest of the world. Yikes. You’re… Read more »

Jerry Brown announced he has received the endorsement of the National Organization for Women, less than 24 hours after the emergence of a recorded message in which Brown can be heard in a conversation with advisors in which someone calls Whitman a “whore.” Coincidence? You be the judge.

#74 mharper42, “It’s easy if you try…” John Lennon was a lot of things; an overly ideological socialist leaning commie among them.
