I always thought the little giraffe in this commercial was photographically manipulated somehow. Yes, they are fake, but just imagine….
It got me thinking – what else can we find in miniature form? Not just naturally small stuff, but miniaturized form? I went looking for these wee things with my magnifying glass and a small net. First I found the rare panda cow, which only grows to be a few hundred pounds. It reminds me of an Oreo® cookie on four legs.
Next, I found teacup pigs. Yep, tiny little swine that make great pets. Perfect for those people on diets who crave just a little BLT sammich every now and then. And if your grandbaby gets tired of walking and you don’t have a little red wagon, you can get one of these little horses to tote that tot! And to keep the piggie and pony company, you can get a baby doll sheep for that “awwwwww” factor.
Moving away from the animal realm, I found these miniaturized items. Everything you need for the aspiring farmer who doesn’t really want to farm much. And for those who don’t want to drive much, you have these.
And for those who don’t want to think much, there’s this guy and his select few. Unfortunately, they are as real as lap giraffes are fake.
Now, if you’ve had enough of small stuff, try taking a gander at this!

I do not do religion. I do go to church to worship and fellowship. I refuse to enter into these holy wars.

Crap, now I gotta start watching my back!
Regarding Christianity: I’ve heard all my life that Mormons are not Christian. Two of the theologican arguments used against mormons being Christian go as follows: (a) We don’t believe in Jesus because we believe in the necessity to do good works. We therefore reject Christ’s mercy and thus reject Christ. (b) We don’t believe in only one God existing in… Read more »

Everything on my computer crapped out. We just got a new one and I finally got Word set up. Open Office seems good but I just have not used it much.

Very cool. 🙂
Rumor has it that Brainless Williams and Kool-aid drinking Krissy Matthews are going to karaoke to this song on the Nutjob Broadcasting Company’s Nightly News as a montage of Obumma campaign videos plays in the background.
They hope to put to rest the notion that they’re nothing but pure propagandists for King B.O. and his Marxist minions.

Now that right there is a heart of gold. No matter how curmudgeonly the exterior, inside you’re a real mushball.
I am of the opinion that when any person starts condemning say the Catholic Religion they are walking on grounds best left to the Father because ultimately they are judging the heart and relationship a group of people has with God. When they do that with an individual well now that person is getting real close on treading on grounds… Read more »

Looks like fun. I have always loved the San Jacinto Battleground area and the battleship Texas. Great old memories from the San Jacinto Inn days.
Wish I were there.
Only after those bastige Republicans outed her!
The weather should be great on the morrow, enjoy this if one can.

So I have to see this jackass day and night up here and try to escape his face by traveling cyberwise to Texas and what do I find ?
Thanks a lot.
That would be openly gay mayor.
Pool is just a misunderstood gay trapped in a male body who was freed from his shackles and is now… ummm… uhh…
Don’t be a cis-neanderthal transhater

As a native Houstonian, the fact this took place at One’s A Meal is only fitting.
If Art Wren’s Drugstore were still around it would be even better. That building is Katz’s Deli now.
#148 Simple I think you miss the point of a Walmart. They are not a department store there to provide a variety of choices. Their focus is to deliver the best deal, in any given category, on any given day, at the very best price. They do not intend to be all things, to all people, or offer something for… Read more »
So you thought building a toy train and electing a lesbian mayor was all we needed to make Houston a World Class City, huh? Well apparently that’s not enough. Apparently we need a psychologically unbalanced, self-mutilating tranny to seal the deal: City council hopeful Jenifer Rene Pool, clad in a black blazer with a hint of a hot pink blouse… Read more »

Press on, brother. It’s a battle I’ve been waging all of my life, at least the adult phase. Sometimes the battles are with kinfolk. Hell hath no fury like a Catholic converted.

Dang, Debbie Downer! Did you have lunch with Headshaker today?
Here’s a different opinon for ya.
VH with either DLR or the other loser.
Over rated. Nobody cares.
125 Texpat, I have shopped mostly at WalMart for years, but sometimes I have erred and went over to Kroger’s and Whole Foods. I wish you would would tell me where “o” where was that haute cusine section in Wal-Mart that catered to the snooty crowd. My one criticism of Wal Mart is that they seldom if ever offer much… Read more »

Yanno I really do not think I would want to get caught making that judgement.
And Mr. Katfish, let me tell you something else about Mr. Squawkmeister: he hates Marshall Tucker. And “hates” is not a near strong enough word. I would have to get into descriptives to fully express how I loathe that band. I do not want to be banned from Hammieland for such graphic verbal depictions of how much I despise that… Read more »

I am sorry to hear you had to wake it up. 🙂
Now Open Office on the other hand, I never have to wake it up.
Sheer ignorance. Just ignore them.
@129 Hamous, Thanks. See LoRents That’s what we can do with one of them. Bought him in late ’06 and he’s been our primary breeding stallion since. His offspring start in the low 5 figure range and, read it again, this is how we can get that: Glory Be Farm Legacys Bojingle: Bo is 31.5 inches tall and an 8… Read more »

to ME (really no biggie and all a matter of personal tastes) Sammy Hagar is a good musician and a decent singer – nothing spectacular DLR is (at best) a remarkable personality and not one IOTA more If DLR is a singer…….then so is Bruce Springsteen (he’s ok at best but a GREAT performer), Axle Rose (hate him) and Bob… Read more »

Ditto on the Doobies.
There can be no argument or disagreement: Van Halen without David Lee Roth is at best a weak and disappointing imitation.

Hamgar #122 Oh no. Another skirmish in the Van Roth / Van Hagar War. I ain’t in the mood to correct ALL the ills in the world today. Best I can do. I lost my youtube access at work this week after a proxy server crash. If you had an iPhone with a Verizon plan this would not be a… Read more »
After posting an unprecedented 7 straight losing quarters, Walmart is going to back to basics, first by firing the former Al Gore aide they hired to turn the company “green”. Few may recognize it as such, but this episode should be seen as a cautionary tale about “progressives” and social engineering experiments on low-income Americans. This morning’s Wall Street Journal… Read more »
