I’m actually beginning to enjoy the “progressive” penchant for playing the blame game. They can always find a way to tie any event to MMGW. But here’s a new twist:
At issue was whether the EPA had the necessary legal authority [to regulate CO2]. The EPA’s actions were spurred by a 2007 Supreme Court decision that called on the agency to determine if carbon emissions were subject to the Clean Air Act. The EPA determined that they were and moved ahead with its agenda.
The Republican-controlled congress is already working on reining in the EPA to keep them from legislating by regulation. In the meantime Congressman Ed Markey (D-Mass) managed to bring al Qaeda into the mix:
Rep. Ed Markey, D-Mass., went the furthest, arguing that limiting the EPA would empower Al-Qaida by keeping the U.S. dependent on foreign oil.
Forgetting for a moment that it has been Democrat roadblocks to domestic drilling that has helped keep the U.S. dependent of foreign oil, Republicans joined in the fun and sarcastically lobbed their own softballs at Ms. Jackson:
“Thank you, madam administrator. Do you like puppies?” he asked Jackson.

Squawkster, I’m glad you have a little sunshine in your day, and of course prayers to Margie and Frank.
Whoa talk about yer up and down emotional roller coaster. First and foremost thank you all for the prayer for my friends. Once again I am humbled by the kindness of care of met and unmet friends and acquaintances. On a much happier note my younger brother eloped and got married to the girl he has been with for years… Read more »
So far, we have successfully “google bombed” LST, as well as this site with two gay bears wearing clown suits singing show tunes.
I can’t help but wonder how many mentions of “I cut my teeth on a Wang” will be required to elevate Hammie’s couch to the #1 search result for that phrase too.
Yah.
You gotta watch out for those wangs—-
Never heard it called a Guioguio before.
I’m going to hide in a corner somewhere. I had no idea what I had started.

Mubarek has kicked the ant bed by letting a rumor out that he was stepping down and now, apparently he is not. THe official position, I think, is that he has transferred authority to VP Sulieman but will not leave either. TT: Ink jet printers suck. Get a color laser by Brother. I have a Brother b/w multi-function printer that has never failed, other than feeding more than one sheet through the feeder when I overload it.
Man, you have the wong idea. It was a word processing system. Would you like me to clean your brain for you? It has obviously been spending a little too much time in the gutter. So; Who cleaned the wang? Can just anybody do it, or is there only one person allowed to? Does the wang require special equipment or… Read more »

Ok, how about this Wang?
I worked for a company that remanufactured ink jet cartridges such as the HPs with their integrated print head. We also made aftermarket cartridges for Epson and Canon. I personally always liked the HP because it held the most ink, 60 mL, and it had an integrated printhead. The Epson’s and Canon’s print head received their ink from a separate… Read more »

Hummm, I don’t think this is going to fly,…what say you?
I used to frequently visit a client that had systems from my company as well as from Wang. The Wang tech was female, cute as a button, and sharp as a tack.
We got to know each others equipment very well.

I was surprised to find that my new HP has headless ink cartridges. That was the reason I had bought my deceased Canon.
When researching for my new purchase, I read alot of negative comments from long time Canon owners about their new products.
#50 bob, I used to have to keep this old “Kerosene Burner” going; Versatec 800 Printer/Plotter.
Man, now I’m having flashbacks of that smell.
Hey, it could be worse.
‘Bout printers, I’ve had several HP’s but hated paying out the A$$ for ink. The HP is by far the most rugged. A friend recommended a Canon with six ink cartridges, the ink was cheaper than the HP’s because the HP’s have the printer head built into the cartridge, but the down side is that the Canon WILL clog up… Read more »

#47 At the risk of dating myself, I’ll confess that I early in my career, I was a qualified 1403 repairman. The later models used trains instead of chains, and if you used too little or too much oil on them, they would “derail.” The machine was noisy enough when it worked. When it had a train problem, it was… Read more »
As per printer recommendations, we use color quite often. We have to print utility maps for all of our jobs, and it’s important to be able to tell the blue lines (water mains) from red lines (sewer mains) and green lines (storm water). We sometimes also use aerial shots of the work area. I like the laser printer idea for… Read more »

#44 Bob42 Boy, does THAT bring back memories! My first corporate job was a summer job before going to college. There was a Wang there and I cut my teeth on that thing. I was recently chastised by someone for giving short shrift to “the arts” in general and “art professors” in particular (how many art professors does the world need?).
