Where were you and what were you doing 25 years ago yesterday?

Of course, simply remembering those who died in that accident is insufficient for some. There are those who see a conspiracy in everything.

Well, I thought I might check in this morning and see if bob had given any thought to the legalization of marijuana issue, but I guess it’s just a little too early in the day to be seeking out his opinion on the matter.

Good morning all. Clear and 58 at 6, no fog until just before 8. Then it appeared in a few minutes and keeps on rolling in on kitty cat feet and thickening, like a live thing. The house behind us is disappearing into an indistinct shape among the trees. Trees behind it are gone in the mists, and down the… Read more »

Well, the predicted storm this morning was a bust around Richmond, gratefully so. The sprinkles were too light to register in the rain gauge, though the TV weather folks gave Sugar Land 0.03″. Folks north and east and way east weren’t so lucky. Sun came out in the afternoon, and it warmed to 71. A miscalculation such as today’s is… Read more »

there is a huge difference between being against drug use and being in favor of policies that cause more harm than good. Naturally, authoritarians have trouble recognizing that difference.

Indeed. and you’re one of them, bob.

So I’m watching a special on the North American Auto Show on channel 2. Ignoring the “green” propaganda so popular with trendy dirtbags and the “miraculous” recovery of GM (forgetting the $88 billion debt they got to write off), how on earth does a car win the Truck of the Year award?

Good morning all. Dampish 60 at 6 and light sprinkles that came and went. Seems the weather folks’ dire storm predictions have not materialized, at least not in the Houston area. The Chronicle came double bagged, with the outer bag tied in a knot at the end to keep it dry. The effort is appreciated. Good for the brave souls… Read more »

#96 Harper, there is a huge difference between being against drug use and being in favor of policies that cause more harm than good. Bob, eliminating WoD at the federal level would not mean that the several states are going to legalize pot. Most states would not, and you know it. Because their responsible voting citizens are against drug use. So don’t hold your breath.
