Took down the Christmas tree today and put it and the ornaments back in the hall closet. We usually keep the decorations up through Epiphany, but this year it went longer ’cause we were busy with other stuff. Now its place in the corner of our family room looks so bare even though the table it was on now has… Read more »

Regarding glucose testing in a medical setting: I don’t know if you have watched them do it, but they may be using bigger lancets that draw a larger blood drop. I complained back in 2013-14 while in Mem-NW for 4 different events, the big whacker they use HURTS.

Anyone else getting excited about watching the Democrat debate coming up soon? Now if I can just chew through these leather straps and change the TV…..
I’ve only been able to check y’all out a few times this weekend, but I’d like to say that taking Max to see his mom was good therapy for her and him. I’m sure she missed him and I KNOW that he doesn’t understand why she’s not home. Remember DOG is GOD spelled backwards.
It was interesting and I’m sure there is a simple explanation, but Max very predictably lays down about 4 minutes into any car ride.
Not this time. Sat up and looked around for 90% of the inbound trip.

And perhaps that was the inspiration for a learned Texian to create the Texas Come And Take It flag.

#79, I know a lot of middle aged women who drive crossovers. They were too cool to drive station wagons when young, nor would they drive one now. Function over form I suppose. The mini-van was an evolutionary step between the two now that I think about it.
It annoys me to watch the Subway retro commercial set in the mid-60s and see a mid-70s Ford Country Squire station wagon in the parking lot. Couldn’t they find one of these?

That Packer game was unbelievable. As was the late officiating.
I think they were lucky to get as far as they did this year with Rodgers carrying the whole team on his back.
