Which reminds me.
Haircut this week or die!! -
#2 Got mine on Saturday, I was getting pretty shaggy. Haircuts are just too easy to put off.
-
It’s getting harder up here to find barbers who are trained to scissor cut, that is to be proficient in actually cutting hair. The barber schools aren’t teaching it anymore.
The young guys are taught to do everything using electric clippers only. It just doesn’t work for somebody who has thick, curly hair and it becomes really apparent 10-14 days after the haircut.

Yep.

Pants up!
Don’t loot! -
The ghouls have crossed a bridge too far.
-
Memorial looting on August 9th is apparently a new tradition.

#7 – speakin of those Ghouls……………….New Hampshire, Louisiana, and now Alabama have pulled the financial plug on PP…………..SO what’s Texas waiting for?

I think the issue merits a special session to defund this criminal organization once and for all. If what they do is so wissin important, let those who believe so and have the deep pockets donate to keep the organization afloat. Taking my tax dollars by force and funding this bunch of murderous criminals is offensive on many levels and represents criminal extortion. -
Hildebeyotch “certifies” that she has had all incriminating evidence destroyed.
HEADLINE: Clinton certifies she has turned over work-related emails
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has told a federal judge that she has turned over all of her work-related emails to the State Department after she was ordered to certify that she had done so, a state department spokesman confirmed to CNN on Sunday. This follows U.S. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan ordering Clinton as well as two former top department aides to state under penalty of perjury they have produced all government records in their possession.
I can see a couple of ways that she could still attempt to parse/lie/delay her way out of trouble. She is so tainted it amazes me that she is even in the running on the D side let alone leading. If another email happens to get out that was not previously turned over, she is in serious legal jeopardy.
Dennis Praeger brought up an interesting point: it is highly likely that the email server in Chappaqua was hacked by Russian and/or Chinese spooks. She is completely compromised as POTUS because when a damaging email surfaces she is in jeopardy of perjury and obstruction of justice charges. She will be impeached and removed from office if we should be so cursed as to have her elected, should one of those emails turn up that was not turned over as of now. She will give those governments whatever they want to keep her cankles under the desk in the Oval Office. -
Still hot and dry out here. I think the last rain was sometime before June 1. The grass and weeds sound like breaking glass when I walk across the yard. Varmints and deer seem to appreciate the water trough I put out for them, so there’s no other standing water around for them to drink. And the spring was so nice and rainy.

Prince Bandar bin Sultan, the Saudi ambassador to the United States between 1981 and 2005, has written a damning column in which he compares the Iran nuclear deal to the failed nuclear deal with North Korea — and concludes it will have even worse consequences.
Writing for the London-based Arabic news Web site Elaph, Badar suggests that President Obama is knowingly making a bad deal, while President Bill Clinton had made a deal with North Korea with the best intentions and the best information he had. The new deal will “wreak havoc” in the Middle East, which is already destabilized due to Iranian actions, Bandar writes.

The Washington comPost doesn’t like Ted Cruz much.
If that rag doesn’t like Cruz, it make me like him more. -
I know it’s still VERY early, but at this point I’d say Cruz has essentially zero chance of getting the nomination. I would agree with Hamous’ assessment at this point that we’ll probably be looking at another Bush vs. Clinton race in 2016. Blech.

A father would rather his daughter drown than be saved, because his religion says that her honor would be defiled if men touched her.
I don’t know whether to be sad or angry about this story.

Well, they are getting creative. . .
HEADLINE: Sickening video reveals Isis’s new method of execution: Ten prisoners made to kneel above bombs that have been buried in the ground
There are pictures and videos but no need to actually damage the soul by watching. This is islime in action and will become even more widespread until action is taken to wipe such practitioners from the face of the earth.
I can just hear those who defend PP but will condemn ISIS for ripping bodies apart. . . .
Same barbarism but different victims. -
#16, from your link:
Dubai police said they arrested the man for getting in the way of the rescue crew and contributing to his daughter’s death.
I wonder what, if any, the punishment will be?
This is islime and it will spread unless and until it is wiped from the face of the earth. I am almost to the point that they should be treated as G-D instructed King Saul to do to the Amalekites. -
The Malay Mail Online reported Tuesday that the Perak mufti, Tan Sri Harussani Zakaria, advised Muslim members of the government “not to go overboard.” He reminded them that “Islam is based on faith… Don’t make any remarks based on the intellect or logic…” Why not? Because “the intellect is governed by desires and it is influence by shaitan (satan). Don’t be ruled by desires and rudderless comments.” Harussani was reflecting an aspect of Islam that runs through its history, but is little remarked upon today by Western analysts: its anti-intellectualism and rejection of reason.

This article by Newsmachete got my attention.

I know a few people who worked at HP during Carly’s reign of terror and wouldn’t even consider voting for her.
-
#20 – If you liked that about Carley, check out her time at HP, and even Lucent before that. Spoiler alert: It’s not pretty.

Local water company has put us on a do not water your lawn stage 2 alert. Meanwhile they are filling the tanks with trucked in water as they are drilling a new well.
Can’t help but wonder if the aquifer here is way down low.

What is the reason to support “free-trade” — to keep the PIGS at WalMart well-fed?Fiorina just got scratched in my playbook for her Islamofascist friendliness.
I am sick and tired of WOMEN justifying everything from homosexuality to Islamic genocide by virtue of “friends” or relatives who are homosexual or Muslims.
This is why women should not be allowed to vote. If men would lock up their females on election day, or drug them, we might stand a chance of winning our country back.

I would agree with Hamous’ assessment at this point that we’ll probably be looking at another Bush vs. Clinton race in 2016. Blech.Actually, while MSNBC wants you to believe that the big news is that Trump is still #1 in the polls, the real big news is that Ted Cruz is now #2, Ben Carson is now #3, and Jebbydoesn;t show up in the top 5.
Hamous’ point of last night should be noted that at this point in 2008, Luap Nor was running in first place.
Who was in the top 5 then?

It’s Shannon’s fault – he’s got bigger pumps than you do. He’s stealing all the water for Washington County. When Shannon drills for water he fracks for it all the way to Cut & Shoot.

I swear, Officer, I thought it was a water pistol !
A White House staffer was arrested late Friday after allegedly shooting a gun at her boyfriend, an officer with the U.S. Capitol Police, during a heated argument, authorities said.
Barvetta Singletary, 37, who is a special assistant to President Obama and also holds the title of House legislative liaison, was charged with domestic violence in the incident, which police say occurred at her home in Upper Marlboro, Md.

On a happier note though, big thanks to Hamstaman for coming out to the gig today at Fletcher’s. We had a great time and will be back there again to play in the near future.
You should probably thank me for not yelling out “Play FREEBIRD!!!” I was pretty close 😉

#28 – GEEZ what a friendly and pleasant looking Lady!
NOT
All she had to do was send a text message to get sexed?
………times must be tough in Maryland!

Yeah, after you left someone did almost exactly that. We refused that request. And the Stairway one too. Ended up playing until ~ 7:00 though so it actually went over really well with some dancing going on there during set 2 and encore. Actually made a bit of money which we did not anticipate and will be playing again there. Everyone seemed happy, including the bar owner, so we’re putting that in the win column as a band.

I gave up on the repukes years ago. No rush to avoid for me! 🙂
-
Somebody, maybe Reverend Horton Heat, used to play Stairway to Freebird back in the ’80s. Music of one to lyrics of the other.
-
Heh… funny you mention RHH. I’m trying to convince the rest of the band to play ‘Love Whip’. Bar owner wants to hear ‘Purple Rain’ so I guess we’ll be doing that one next gig… but Cerveza Road style.
-
One version of Stairway to Freebird

I did not know he was still alive……. Buddy Baker, NASCAR’s ‘Gentle Giant,’ dies at 74
Anyone check on Abe Vigoda lately?
-
Here’s the version I was thinking about: not RHH but Dash Rip Rock.
-
On the TV show Beverly Hillbillies, Dash Rip Rock was the chosen stage name for the Jethro Bodine (played by Max Bayer) character. The boss and I chuckled about that this very morning.
-
Nope, Dash Riprock was another character, not Max. Don’t remember his real name. Here’s a clip with Sharon Tate.

He was part of a SiriusXM radio show I listen to a lot (when in the wife’s car). I did not know that, sad to see him leave us for the great high banks above.

Wasn’t Sharron Tate a victim of the Manson Family?

#46 The last place I lived in Gainesville was on Hwy 441 and you really could hear the cars roll by like waves crashin’ on the beach.

I started cutting the grass about 6:45pm and finished at 8:15. Hot, real hot.

I saw a local forecast on Ch 2 and it was being called a “cool front” for next week. Temps maybe 10 degrees lower than this week, and cooler at night too. Improved chance for rain. However, I see none of this coolness reflected in the weather.com for my zipcode into next week.

Late evening greetings. Spouse was telecommuting today, and the remote still doesn’t work right.
See ya’ll tomorrow morning.
