We have a Brunette Friday and it is one of my all time favorites, a classic beauty like old time Hollywood but she’d be a beauty in any case. It’s still real dark here on the Bay but I can see a flare down at some Texas City Refinery.

Me, too. Wife 2.0 was almost a dead-ringer for Ms. Wood.

Too much eye makeup in those days made women look like they had black eyes.  Actually too much makeup, period.

    This is some great satire.

You will also be shocked at the accompanying photo array.  It’s a large montage image I wasn’t sure if I should post it here with our recent problems with Bluehost stability.

I am Goodthink Celebrity #690 (they/them). For my entire life, I have craved fame and attention. Ever since I was a theater kid in high school, I aspired to make content for you to consoom. Please clap!

Over my glittering career, my narcissism grew as I racked up awards, influence, and cash. You peasants made me rich by watching my movies and buying my products. That made me realize that I am not just an entertainer, but your moral superior. My ability to play pretend, sportsball, and sing gives me the mandate to lecture you about the correct progressive opinions you should have too.

Now that Hollywood is dying, which is definitely not my fault, I am panicking. How can I stay relevant? Being hip and cool is the only thing that matters. I have been preaching the sermon of open borders, diversity, and gun control while living in a homogenous walled compound with armed guards. Since that isn’t trendy enough anymore, I am pushing the most stunning and brave agenda – trans kids!

A quick glance at the picture before I RTWDT and I’ SHOCKED! I knew those people were screwed up but dang I didn’t know that they ruined all their kids!!! I did know about Cher’s daughter but not the rest. Of course I didn’t know half of the principals anyway. ~SPITS~

There are more than a few actors and other show business people who have moved out of California to remove their kids from that sick, demented environment.

Places like Nashville and Austin though have become so overrun with entertainment industry morons to the point they could be called Hollywood East and Hollywood SW.

Nice writeup for these two projects in Austin.

AUSTIN, Texas — Lacking three crucial components – students, faculty, and facilities – the two educational experiments proposed in this state capital sounded like moonshots just a few years ago.

Today, the School of Civic Leadership at the University of Texas and a feisty startup calling itself the University of Austin are not just up and running, but helping lead the movement to revive classical liberal education across the country.

Now in their second semesters, the two unrelated schools – one public, one private – offer a mix of courses emphasizing political theory, economics, philosophy, and canonical texts that appeal to big-time donors eager to fund traditional academic subjects that have fallen into neglect, or even disdain, in the ivory tower. A big part of their strategy relies on a naked grab for the academic market share by being perceived as more relevant, more exciting, and more consequential.

I made a trip out to the Rocket Ranch yesterday morning to check  out the VAL improvements and touch base with a few old buddies and coworkers and it is a few, as so many have retired and or passed on. Carl the head Test Director and someone I’ve worked with since about 2015, not a long time in my time there, came to Bld 110 to pick me up with an ES Division “Family Escort” Badge because getting a new NASA Visitors Pass is a big hassle, going on-line and giving them all the information that has ever been logged anywhere about you. As we were walking to Bld 13 we met a lady crossing the street and entering the parking lot and by the time I really looked at her we’d already passed and neither her nor I realized we knew each other. I said; “Karen?” and she turned around surprised and said; David! Turns out she was my son’s wife’s mom who works at Jacobs. She had no idea I was withing 700 miles of Houston and I was surprised to see there at Bld 13. We had a nice short visit there in the parking lot and she told me her boss, a Division Chief who was my big boss in 2019, told her that I was missed because they had to get all their service done by outsiders since I’d left.

I was shocked at all the improvements in the lab, 2 new Unholtz Dickie Shakers, one big one and one HUGE one 50K force lbs 200 G’s! They of course came with their respective Amplifiers and they’d also replaced the Amp for the dual 4022’s with a newer version of the old DMA 4030. They also gave the trusty old 335 shaker to ESTA Bld 350 since they already had one and a spare would be nice. Fortunately they gave the Chinese POS that was purchased in 2017 to the Suit People, (I don’t know who has that contract now) but they can’t seem to get the thing working. Lot’s of luck I’d say they need it. So it seems that they spent a whole lot of money for equipment, (nothing wrong with that) but now they’re short money for staff and have laid off some key personnel. Typical NASA,….sigh. Carl will turn 70 this summer and says he’s retiring in December and old Clifton will still be there at 76. I’ve worked with and or known him since I got there in 1985. A total of only four of us had lunch at Los Ramirez, several could make it but it was good to see them again. As I told my #1 sidekick Adrian who sadly couldn’t make it, we’re not getting any younger and one day soon one of us will not be here, not sure who, but that is the way it is.

All in all it was a good day for me. 😉

Tulsi Gabbard was very blunt last night with Laura Ingraham.  When Laura asked her if she thought Comey should be in jail, Tulsi said, “Yes, I do.”  None of the usual bureaucratic squishy blah, blah blah.

Hubby and I extended our stay by one day so he could join a car show that’s actually being held here at the resort tomorrow. For some reason, that means we have to change rooms. That means this morning is packing and moving day.

I have to figure out what and how to pack for the overnight stay tonight. I tend to over pack ( ask Lovely Daughter) but we’ve used most of what I brought.

    So, busy morning…

The US Senate hearings yesterday were really alarming, but you wouldn’t know it from MSM reports.  Try this on..

The truly horrific line of questioning from Paul, however, concerned his allegation that a DHS lab close to the infamous Fort Detrick facility is working on aerosolized Ebola:

“I am told in public records that they are doing experiments or have done experiments to aerosolize Ebola at the Impact lab, that’s the DHS lab nearby Fort Detrick… The idea of aerosolizing Ebola, I think is, uh, and/or training Ebola to be aerosolized is incredibly dangerous and probably goes against the Biological Weapons Convention.”

On that score, I had known there was a concern that The Science™ might undertake such a reckless project, but I wasn’t aware there was already evidence in the public domain that they had actively looked into how to make aerosolized Ebola infectious to humans.

Back in 2012, researchers at now-shuttered Fort Detrick, which also developed SARS-CoV-2, sought to manipulate, with success, mouse genetics to make them more susceptible to aerosolized Ebola.

I want to know why in the hell the US government is developing terrifying bio-warfare weapons like airborne Ebola.  This is outrageous and disgusting.  In what hypothetical situation could this conceivably be used ?

Which brings to mind the data thefts of millions of Americans’ DNA profiles by the Chinese ?   Are the Chicoms working on some kind of strategy to modify American DNA through a population wide vaccination program ?

This research opens up the door for weaponization because, if they can pinpoint what genetic changes in humans might make them susceptible to airborne Ebola, nefarious actors can induce those changes and create a pandemic — possibly via mRNA “therapy.”

Certain members of Congress, as in the leadership and members on select intelligence committees, have known about these programs.  Where is the tranparency ?  Bastards.

With major indicators from April — the month of peak tariff uncertainty — now in, none show the kinds of recessionary or inflationary conditions implied by business and consumer surveys.

Why it matters: Warnings and anecdotes are taking on greater importance as signs of how tariffs are working their way through the economy.

The big picture: New data out Thursday showed steady retail sales and a surprising drop in wholesale prices in April. So far, so good

…recessionary or inflationary conditions implied by business and consumer surveys.

I just love it when the media parade piles onto some hysterical panic and when none of it comes true they blame businesses, Wall Street, Republicans, Christians, Jews and capitalism.

Childers has some interesting legal insights on the Comey issue. Bend over! /Snuffle, snort!

Also, Pfizer may be in the legal crosshairs for election interference. They don’t have immunity for that.

And more on the jab and the future of it. Or lack thereof. Also, Trump is trying to fix the ATC.

I’m not tired of winning. Yet.

I still say Pfizer and Moderna are both legally vulnerable regarding their “immunity”.  There is significant evidence Pfizer lied multiple times about their testing.  Lying to the FDA and Health & Human Services is a clear disqualifier.

And both companies viciously attacked and funded media smear campaigns on Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine.  The reason is because federal law states no company can be granted immunity for an “emergency use” vaccine if there already exists proven available treatments

      1. Tedtam Avatar

I agree, but that’s going to be a long legal haul because the gubmint approved of their behavior, IMHO.  The election interference is a different animal.

I say start with one and then hit them with the second.

Jordan Schachtel made this Defense Department memo available for the first time to the American public on July 18, 2023.  It had been issued on February 1, 2023 and although it was not classified, it remained hidden from the public.  Thank God we were able to elect Donald Trump as president.  Guess who was paying for all this ?

Anyway, here’s some of the “highlights” found within the document:

    1. Taxpayer funded “care” for transgender service members includes:
    • speech/voice therapy
    • cross-sex hormones,
    • laser hair removal,
    • voice feminization surgery,
    • facial contouring,
    • body contouring,
    • breast/chest surgery (“upper surgery”)
    • genital mutilation surgery (“lower surgery”).
    • Psychological counseling
    1. Service members who identify as transgender may receive a waiver for grooming and uniform standards.
    2. Service members who identify as transgender may receive an indefinite waiver for physical fitness standards. This waiver often becomes a de facto permanent situation, and the transgender identifying service member just has to renew the exemption request every six months.
    3. Service members who identify as transgender will be considered “non-deployable” for up to 300 days while taking hormones for their “transition” period. Again, given that these hormones are often required for life, this may render the transgender identifying service member as permanently unable to deploy.

We always stop at Buc-ees on the way home from Fredericksburg, and the place hasn’t changed much from its original opening other than being bigger and bigger on every stop we make.  Seems the original building hangs in and the newer additions just keep piling up.

Everybody and his dog knows of the place including total strangers visiting from other countries who insist on stopping there as if it is a magic place.  Well, it sort of is magic.  The owners and the neighbors miles around make it so.

    Fritos and Gummi Bears.

It was 1968 and 1969 when I lived with my uncle and aunt in Germany.

I couldn’t get Fritos over there unless my uncle (former Navy aviator) happened to go to a PX. So Mom would occasionally ship me a care package with Fritos.

Long before anyone heard of Gummi Bears in America, I discovered them in Germany. After I returned to the States, my aunt would occasionally ship me Gummi Bears. The German ones that I liked were larger and softer (never sticky).

Note: Although German, the Haribo brand really sucks and could pull out a fifty year old tooth filling. And their television commercials are atrocious.

The only problem is the traitorous republicant’s and the penguined kangaroos in dc and Texas rigged it after the election. Now the totalitariancrats and the Kenyan have their fourth term and they will get everything they want.

The republicant’s won’t even get rid of all the waste found by doge.
