BREAKING: NASA terminates $34-million contract with climate consultants tied to Chinese interests.
The ICF has taken billions in taxpayer dollars and even pocketed $638 million from USAID has been peddling the climate agenda. It was contracted to receive $34 million from NASA alone for so-called climate research.
ICF also holds contracts with the EPA, the Department of Defense, and even the Chinese government.
Their “climate science” is little more than alarmism, serving degrowth advocates bent on deindustrializing the US. With the program now axed, other US agencies must take NASA’s cue and sever ties with ICF.

About the so called “Election Deniers” it struck me at the time that all the Left-Wing Media types were adamant about NOT saying anything about election integrity and they ALL had the same talking points. Remember it was the most secure election ever! They also coined the phrase “The Big Lie” and parroted it continuously, still do.
That said; I knew the election was stolen on election night, I watched it in real time and as soon as they stopped counting in Georgia and Pennsylvania I knew the fix was in. -

Determining the date for Passover:
The Jewish calendar year begins in late September or early October with the celebration of Rosh Hashana. Unlike our calendar which is based on the solar year, the Jewish calendar uses twelve lunar months of 29 to 30 days in length. The new moon marks the beginning of each month with the full moon occuring halfway through the month. The seventh month in a normal Jewish calendar year is the month of Nisan (also called Abib in the Old Testament). Passover is celebrated on the 14th day of Nisan at the time of the full moon.
Determining the date for Easter (*Western Church):
Easter is observed on the first Sunday following the full moon that comes on or after the vernal equinox (March 21). Thus Easter can take place as early as March 22 but no later than April 25. This full moon is normally the full moon which takes place on the 14th day of Nisan. Thus in most years Easter is celebrated on the Sunday following Passover.
Why don’t Easter and Passover always fall together on the calendar?
Every two or three years the Jewish calendar requires the adjustment of a leap year. During a Jewish leap year an additional month of 29 days is inserted before the month of Nisan. The additional month is needed because the Jewish calendar year has less days than the solar year and begins to slip out of gear with the seasons. The extra month thus realigns the Jewish calendar year with the seasons of the solar year. This is important because the Jewish holidays are closely related to the seasons. For example, the Torah commands that Passover be celebrated in the spring.

On my calendar it says that Easter this year is on April 20, tomorrow is April 12 and we have a full moon so why isn’t Easter on the 13th? Am I missing something?

This is incorrect. Also, the full moon lasts from Saturday night to Sunday night and Easter cannot fall on the Paschal or Pink Moon which is the first full moon following the vernal equinox.

The only air warning system Iran has right now is whatever satellite intel the Russians or Chinese want to share with them. Their attack detection and ground-to-air defensive installations were destroyed by Israel months ago. The only hope they have is to launch missile attacks from hidden sites in Iraq and/or Syria. Could they have clandestine launch sites in Armenia, Turkmenistan or Tajikistan ? Who knows, but there is no question about Yemen and possibly still somewhere in Lebanon.

I don’t follow a lot of people on social media. Heck, I haven’t even “friended” most of my family. I don’t seek a big public footprint. But I decided to follow Fr. James Altman on X this morning.
In case you missed it or forgot who he is, his homily “You Can’t be Catholic and Vote Democrat” went extremely viral years ago. He was later deprived of his parish, kicked to the curb, and had to scramble to find a place for him and his elderly parents (whom he is caring for) to live. He was left without health insurance, an income, or work. He was prohibited from even offering public masses. Every priest is required to offer a daily mass, even if it’s just him in his bedroom, which is what his bishop was trying to restrict him to. I think he was granted the “freedom” to offer mass to his folks, but no one else. For a priest, that’s horrendous.
A go-fund-me was set up and the original amount was something like $150K. It ended up raising over $2M. IIRC, he’s donated $1M to the Coalition for Canceled Priests (because he’s not the only on being persecuted) and has gone on the speaking tour route, offering masses where he can, and supporting his fellow persecuted traditionally minded priests.
Fr. Altman was a lawyer before answering his calling, so he knows of which he is talking when he posted this on his account:
Dear family, I’m about to release a tell-all description of how vipers in miters have railroaded my Appeal, including – and I have this recorded and can’t wait to release the video/transcript – blatantly denying me access to the case file sent to Rome. They literally asserted they don’t have to show me the case file they filed against me! That is equivalent to a defendant not being shown the “evidence” against him in a criminal or civil trial. It’s an outrage against any semblance of fairness. Further, Rome literally manipulated the dates I filed 3 Appeals and changed the rules of trial procedure to assert I did not file an Appeal in a timely manner. I can’t wait to show you this latest stunt they pulled. As a lawyer I say to you, the corruption goes to the very top. But then, Catholics who actually know the Deposit of Faith already knew this.

IIRC, Texas is actually “divisible”: as part of its acceptance into the U.S., I believe Texas reserved the right to divide itself into as many as five parts.
I may be wrong, but I remember hearing that somewhere.

It was in the original annexation treaty in 1845 with the US. However, Texas lost that privilege when they seceded and joined the Confederacy. Texas surrendered with the other southern states and paid a price for their rebellion.

The second bit is the Crossfire Hurricane documents dropped last night. The bad news is I couldn’t stop looking at them, so today’s post is less polished than usual. Please bear with me. We were never meant to see these documents. But the Crossfire Hurricane files—including the explosive Strzok text messages—aren’t merely transparency for transparency’s sake. They’re a black-op in reverse, a precision-guided strike against deep-state narratives, laying bare the bureaucratic abuses, political bias, and partisan conspiracies cloaked behind the curtain of “national security.”

I wish someone had saved all the man-on-the-street interviews over the years asking college students, for example at HBCUs like Howard, in the Bronx and other locations with minority interviewees.
The one I remember best was a young guy walking around the campus of the largest black school in America, Howard University. He asked at least 15 students if they had drivers licenses and if the members of their families had the same. Most of them looked at him like he was crazy or laughed after confirming they did.

It looks as if New York AG Leticia James committed fraud and federal wire fraud, not to mention violating New York state laws on residency for state officials.
“I intend to occupy this property as my principal residence,” swore James. But did she? Since she went on to conduct her infamous fraud suit against Donald Trump two months later, it seems highly unlikely. But if she didn’t move to Virginia, that would mean she fraudulently signed the document.
Why would James have lied on the POA? As anyone who has purchased a second home can tell you, mortgage rates are lower on primary homes than on investment properties. Was James deliberately misrepresenting her status as a resident co-owner to obtain more favorable loan terms?
Perhaps James really did start spending most of her time with Thompson-Hairston in their jointly owned old Virginia home — but that would lead to a different legal pitfall for her. Multiple New York State laws require residency for state officers. “If James declared Virginia as her principal residence—which the power of attorney clearly shows was her intention—she may have triggered an automatic vacancy in the office of Attorney General under New York law—potentially invalidating her authority during the very period she was prosecuting her highest-profile case,” notes Antar.

Hubby is taking the car club’s dune buggy to a place called Freddie’s in Pearland, to sell raffle tickets. Tomorrow he drives it to the Lone Star Flight Museum.

My supper tonight, Blackened Grouper. Our Place Diner has Fried Catfish for their Friday special and lately they’ve added Grouper, Fried, Blacked or Grilled. The Blackened is very good made with Cajun spices so I approve.
Oh and I got there real early (4:50) to beat the Friday night rush and I noticed that a bunch of tables were put together so I asked the waitress about it and she said a party of 45 was on the way! Dayaam! I had just ordered when they came pouring in, what Zoo! If I’d been 15 minutes later, I’d have just turned around and went back home.-
That looks very much like a plate of fried catfish dinner available any day but very much so on Friday at our local seafood restaurant in Richmond, just a few miles away from our home. Spouse usually gets shrimp dishes there tr occasionally gets catfish. The place is very convenient for residents living in a large and lovely 50 and older apartments complex closer to there than we are.

I believe this is the only apparition of Mary that shows a pregnancy. The Aztecs would know this by her apparel. The stitching has special significance to the Aztecs as well, with significant symbolism within the stitching patterns. They have found music in the stars in the image. An attempt to destroy the image by bombing destroyed everything surrounding the tilma, but the tilma was left untouched. The star constellation included in the image is the placement of the stars at the time the image was revealed.
There are so many miracles associated with this image, I can’t list them all here. After the revelation of this miracle, millions of Mexican natives converted to Catholicism, and a major war was averted.
