Is there anyone with an IQ over 90 who believes this wasn’t a deliberate act of sabotage ? At approximately 1pm on Wednesday November 6, 2024, the Yemassee Police Department received an alert from Alpha Genesis regarding the escape of numerous Rhesus Macaque primates from their enclosures at the Yemassee facility located at 95 Castle Hall Rd, Yemassee SC. The number has since been confirmed to be 43.The primates are described as very young females weighing approximately 6-7lbs, the animals have never been used for testing due to their young age and size. A spokesperson from Alpha Genesis can confirm that these… Read more »
Holy crap, if the Dems ever start listening to this woman, we got problems. On the other hand, it might signal a return to normalcy in American culture.
Attorney General Ken Paxton secured a final judgment permanently blocking the Biden-Harris Administration’s unlawful “parole in place” policy that would have provided a path to citizenship for over a million illegal aliens who have not satisfied the clear requirements set by Congress.
I see that the latest rush to the border has lost some steam since the election. About half the hopefully illegals have turned back towards their homes. Others are still hoping for asylum before the inauguration.
NEW TECHNOLOGY ADVANCES FOR PFAS REMEDIATION PFAS contamination is widespread A recent study conducted by the US Centers for Disease Control determined that 98% of people tested had detectable levels of forever chemicals, known as PFAS. The finding is not surprising, since at least 57,000 water sources in the US are known to be contaminated. PFAS are present in many products, including cookware coatings, food packaging, water resistant material, and even cosmetics. New EPA regulations require advanced remediation methods New EPA rules will limit the chemicals to less than 7 parts per trillion in drinking water. To pursue that goal,… Read more »
More from Mr. C. on the judicial front: In another exciting development, yesterday the Daily Mail ran another terrific immigration story headlined, “Judge slashes Biden administration policy for undocumented immigrants.”Yesterday, a U.S. District Court in Texas struck down one of Biden’s most liberal immigration schemes. The so-called ‘Keeping Families Together’ program allowed illegal spouses and stepchildren of U.S. citizens to apply for a green card without first having to leave the country, creating a greased naturalization skid. But federal judge Campbell Barker, a Trump appointee, ruled yesterday that the Biden Administration overstepped its authority and stretched the legal interpretation of relevant immigration law… Read more »
And New York is about to pull the free food card from the illegals: The Daily Mail did not connect this dot, but I wonder how much New York’s newfound budgetary wisdom has to do with its rational expectation the Trump Administration will soon cut off the federal money spigot.Plus, Mayor Adams has at times shown sparks of resistance to the Biden migrant scheme, and is under DOJ investigation. Maybe Mayor Adams’s legal problems may soon get some much-needed clarity. So, will these illegals be shipped to other cities who might (temporarily) support these people? Or will these illegals go… Read more »
Personally, I want the Departments of Justice and State gutted and reformed. Homeland Security also needs to be reduced in size like removing Secret Service and returning it to Treasury.
And on the Ukraine/Russia war: Mr. C. has some good discussion worth reading on this, but these paragraphs caught my eye: I don’t mean to overstate things, but I’m not sure this point could be overstated: When Trump makes the deal to end the Ukraine war, he will have single-handedly hauled the world back from the brink of global thermonuclear war, and will therefore have instantly succeeded as the 47th President — potentially before he even takes the oath. And since Ukraine is the lynchpin for nearly all current world conflict, removing that constant irritant would yield a deposit of political currency with… Read more »
Speculatin’ on the new Secretary of Education. In October, Education Week also waded into the topic, reporting: “Trump himself floated two potential candidates who he said could oversee the dismantlement of the education department: Vivek Ramaswamy, an entrepreneur who ran for the GOP nomination before dropping out and endorsing Trump, and former U.S. Rep. Lee Zeldin of New York, who left Congress last year after an unsuccessful bid for governor.” The article also cited Tiffany Justice, co-founder of the parents’ rights group Moms For Liberty, as a potential pick, as well as Cade Brumley, Louisiana’s state superintendent of education, and Ryan Walters, Oklahoma’s state superintendent of public instruction, both… Read more »

The C&C roundup: Good morning, C&C, it’s Friday! We begin with the first of several morning monologues aimed at where we should focus our energies next. Then, in the roundup: surprising news about who Ukraine wanted to win the election; Trump’s shocking peace prospects; surprising election news from San Fransisco; New York City’s immigrant nightmare nearing an end; Biden’s immigration laws take another legal hit; and President Trump finds an encouraging staffing agency for his second term. *** The “staffing agency” is the governmental population of Florida. Finally entering the fray. I took my time with coffee, beads, and rosary this morning. I had some of my hard boiled egg chocolate pudding for breakfast. It’s something soft and smooth, which is good for my wounded palate right now. I’m able to take off the palate cover for short periods of time during the day, but I make sure it’s on when eating or drinking anything other than water. I am so eager for the healing. I also took some time to re-sort and reorganize my beads. I have to do that periodically because…entropy! It’s good to do… Read more »
“If progressives have a politics that says all white people are racist, all men are toxic, and all billionaires are evil it’s kinda hard to keep them on your side. If you’re chasing people out of the party, you can’t be mad when they leave.”
Mark Judge: “Generation X delivered the White House to Trump.”That was the post-election analysis of political writer Philip Klein, who noted this week that people between the ages of 45 and 64 voted for President-elect Donald Trump 53% to 45%. Other generations, both older and younger, went for Vice President Kamala Harris. This result follows several recent articles calling Generation X, my generation, the “Trumpiest” generation. and, It’s been amazing to watch over the last 30 years as younger people have become more “woke” while my generation stays the same. Recently, a Generation Z friend who works with me at a grocery store watched… Read more »
What I’m really looking forward to is the in-depth piece by some NYT or Atlantic writer on how horrible she really was behind the scenes and the sheer panic by her advisors as they attempted to transform her into something marketable.
This will probably never happen because it would expose the ugly underbelly of the Left, especially the Obamas.
No other country goes to these lengths to protect innocent people. A Hezbollah leader and his wife were driving down a highway in Lebanon. A car following closely was driven by a young woman unaware of the other driver’s identity. She received an anonymous cell call from a man speaking perfect Lebanese Arabic who instructed her to pull over to the side of the road and stop. Fortunately, she followed his instructions because seconds later an IDF drone overhead blew up the car ahead of her with small missiles. The terrorist leader and his wife managed to get out and… Read more »
Netanyahu sends aircraft to Amsterdam to rescue Israelis following post-soccer match riot.
“Amsterdam Mayor Femke Halsema said Maccabi Tel Aviv supporters were “attacked, abused and pelted with fireworks” and that riot police intervened to protect them and escort them to hotels. At least five people were treated in hospital, she said.
Security measures were increased in the city, where hundreds gathered on Thursday to remember Kristallnacht, the Nazi pogrom against Jews across Germany on Nov. 9-10, 1938.”
My 4 month old puppy got me up at 3 am, whimpering at the bedroom door. Obviously nature was calling. It kind of messed up my sleep because I had just gotten up at 2 for the same reason, and I normally get up at 4:15. She is almost house broken at just over 4 months. My son saw her trying to open a door knob: both front paws on the knob trying to turn it. I think she is a smart one.

BAWHAHAHA! We have Dancia Patrick for Burnett Friday. Paging GJT. 😉
Actually she is easy on the eyes but I agree with Tim/Tom on the fact she was a DEI hire. She was NEVER very good and couldn’t have made it without her looks and of course, gender.
Well Dawg got me up and I can’t go back to sleep so I think I’ll start the coffee pot.
