To say that Kahmala is dumber than a box of rocks is an insult to the rocks. She may actually be a psychopath as she has demonstrated that she cares not a whit about We The People, only her accumulation of wealth and power. She is the personification of everything that is wrong with government.

Now Christians are being as dumb about voting as Jews. Who woulda thought it ?

NEW—According to new survey data by George Barna, only 51% of “people of faith” plan to vote this November.

    TRANSLATION:

    – 41 million born-again Christians WILL NOT VOTE

    – 32 million mainline Christians WILL NOT VOTE

    This is a five-alarm fire.

The local church must be activated to explain WHY voting is critical and national leaders must not take this group for granted in key issues.

We cannot expect President Trump to have a more Christian ethos if the Church refuses to vote. We cannot expect President Trump to be more pro-life if our own people don’t back him up at the ballot box. The local church MUST be activated.

Christians, you are about to hand the White House to Kamala Harris.

About the O.C. video, I don’t have time to watch it but I saw several excerpts from the 60 Minutes interview and I will say that Bill Whitaker did a fairly good job with his questions but more importantly the follow-ups, often more than one trying to get an answer. Oh and WTH has heard of or ever seen Bill Whitaker? FWIW; Jesse Watters did a pretty good job last night with Kamala’s 60 Minutes disaster. I assume the show can be found on-line.

They couldn’t pay me enough to work in this company or industry. This is disgusting.

Race and Culture Unit ? This sounds like Mao’s Red Guard.

Late last week, a group of CBS News employees approached executives with their concerns about Mr. Dokoupil’s handling of the interview, according to two people with knowledge of the events, who requested anonymity to share internal discussions.

Mr. Dokoupil met for an hour with members of the CBS News standards and practices team and the in-house Race and Culture Unit, which advises on “context, tone and intention” of news programming. The conversation focused on Mr. Dokoupil’s tone of voice, phrasing and body language during his interview with Mr. Coates, one of the people said.

Mr. Dokoupil, who joined CBS News in 2016 and became a morning anchor in 2019, is a rising star at the network who recently took on an extra hour on “CBS Mornings.” He is continuing to appear on the air.

    Spotted over yonder;

The people you refer to as “uneducated hillbillies” are the men and women building back roads and bridges while you wait for someone else to do it! The people you call “dumb rednecks” are the men and women rescuing families with nothing more than a rope and maybe an ATV! The people you like to refer to as “inbred” are the men and women making sure that their “cousin kissing” neighbors have food, clothing and anything else that they need!

The Supreme Court—often derided by progressives as a bastion of far-right extremists—will soon deal a devastating blow to the death penalty.

The court is scheduled to hear oral arguments in the case of Oklahoma death row inmate Richard Glossip on Wednesday, and either way they rule, their decision will rock national attitudes toward capital punishment.

If the court rules in favor of Glossip, it will be acknowledging that a grave injustice has taken place, raising questions over the guilt of anyone on death row. But if the court decides against him, and Oklahoma moves forward with his execution—even though almost every powerful Republican in the state opposes it—the call to end capital punishment in the state will only grow.

It was revealed this weekend that Chinese hackers managed to access systems run by three of the largest internet service providers (ISPs) in the US.

What’s notable about the attack is that it compromised security backdoors deliberately created to allow for wiretaps by US law enforcement …

Apple famously refused the FBI’s request to create a backdoor into iPhones to help access devices used by shooters in San Bernardino and Pensacola. The FBI was subsequently successful in accessing all the iPhones concerned without the assistance it sought.

Our arguments against such backdoors predate both cases, when Apple spoke out on the issue in the wake of terrorist attacks in Paris more than a decade ago.

The crucial French Fry economic indicator.

Americans are revolting against McDonald’s and fast-food chains. That’s hurting french fry suppliers like Lamb Weston.

Lamb Weston, the largest producer of french fries in North America and a major supplier to fast-food chains, restaurants and grocery stores, is closing a production plant in Washington state. The company announced last week that it would lay off nearly 400 employees, or 4% of its workforce, and temporarily cut production lines in response to slowing customer demand.

Shares of Lamb Weston (LW) have dropped 35% this year.

The potato giant is oversupplied at a time when demand is sluggish. Restaurant prices in recent years have increased faster than grocery store prices, leading customers to pull back at fast-food chains.

This shift has taken a toll on Lamb Weston because people are less likely to cook french fries at home. Around 80% of french fries consumed in the United States come from fast-food chains, according to Lamb Weston.

The 2020 Theft Saved This Country

First, let’s state the obvious… of course, Trump won in 2020. The statistics are overwhelming. Leftists often try to use statistics to “prove” racial discrimination in all sorts of situations. For some reason, they don’t seem to have the same desires and statistical certitude regarding the overwhelming statistical evidence that Trump won.

Combine this with the truckload of obvious — and unexplainable — shenanigans across many states and it is clear the rightful winner was Trump.

    /snip

So, at first glance, this looks like — and felt like — a significant loss for the right and conservatism. Upon their taking office — and in this situation, it really was taking office — Biden and company immediately set out to undo basically everything Trump had done. If Trump’s fingerprints were on it, it needed to be killed. Again, this looks like a loss.
But was it? If Trump’s win had been acknowledged, he would have been President for the last 3.5 years. A whole lot of bad things in this country and across the globe wouldn’t have happened. But they did.
Please read the whole thing; he might be right.

When Todd Graves and Craig Silvey came up with the idea for a restaurant in southern Louisiana that only sold chicken fingers, they probably didn’t expect to get the lowest grade in a startup-pitching assignment for Silvey’s LSU undergraduate business class — or to get rejected for bank loans when they tried to make it a reality.

Yet the concept, which eventually became Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, propelled Graves to his debut Tuesday on the Forbes 400, a ranking of America’s richest people. He’s reportedly the country’s 107th-richest person, with an estimated net worth of $9.5 billion, largely driven by his ownership stake in Raising Cane’s.

“If people tell you something can’t be done, it makes you strive so much more to do it,” Graves, now 52 and the company’s co-CEO, told students at Nicholls State University in 2009.

The first-of-its-kind database, which logs sex-change procedures given to children nationwide between 2019 and 2023, catalogs a total of 5,747 minors who underwent sex-change surgeries, along with 8,579 who obtained puberty blockers or cross sex hormones.

Do No Harm believes the problem is likely even bigger than the data shows. The numbers, which are drawn from insurance claims data across all 50 states, do not include self-pay, charity payments, internal Veterans Affairs claims or patients covered by Kaiser Health Plans.

    and,

The top four states for sex-change procedures include California, New York, Washington and Ohio, with more than 1,000 children in each state undergoing the procedures. In California, 2,024 children received sex-change procedures, including 1,359 who received surgeries, for a total of $28.9 million in charges.

This is how FEMA ended up in the open border business.

In the midst of the last major budget crisis in Washington, Democrats diverted money and the legal authority to put the nation’s disaster relief agency into the business of caring for the millions of illegal immigrants who crossed the border on the Biden-Harris administration’s watch. And now both parties seem to be trying to obfuscate the truth.

White House spokeswoman Karine-Jean Pierre took the lead in trying to suggest it was a “conspiracy theory” to suggest the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) was using its resources to aid illegal aliens. Republicans countered with surprise and shock that FEMA had routed $640.9 million in grants to nonprofits aiding immigrants, many of whom have crossed into the U.S. illegally.

    plus,

A group of Senators who did not vote for the funding measure led by James Lankford of Oklahoma, wrote a letter to President Biden last week raising concerns about how FEMA’s immigration responsibilities could be impacting its disaster readiness.

    and,

The letter was also signed by GOP Sens. Josh Hawley of Missouri, Rand Paul of Kentucky, and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin.

These people are not only incompetent, they are lying, cheating bastards.

An August report from the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Inspector General noted that in 2022, FEMA “estimated that 847 disaster declarations with approximately $73 billion in unliquidated funds remained open.”

Drilling down on that data, the OIG found that $8.3 billion of that total was for disasters declared in 2012 or earlier.

Such developments are part of a larger pattern in which FEMA failed to close out specific grant programs “within a certain timeframe, known as the period of performance (POP),” according to the IG report. Those projects now represent billions in unliquidated appropriations that could potentially be returned to the DRF (Disaster Relief Fund).”

Topline: The Biden-Harris administration is eclipsing the $1 trillion mark in improper payments, a new record for wasted money in a four-year term, according to a recent report from OpenTheBooks.com.

Key facts: Improper payments — money sent by the federal government to the wrong person, for the wrong reason or in the wrong amount — totaled over $800 billion from 2021 to 2023, adjusted for inflation.

    and,

Medicaid and Medicare accounted for 43% of improper payments last year, but problems were found across the board. Dead people received $295 million, mostly from pension benefits the Office of Personnel Management sent to former federal workers who had passed away. Prisoners were paid $171 million.

The Internal Revenue Service spent $25 billion doling out fraudulent and mistaken tax credits, with some IRS programs reporting mistake rates above 30%.

Witnesses say there was a slow roll by of some vehicles with dark tinted windows, followed later by either one or two helicopters that “rotor washed” the depot, hovering low over the tents and canopies where the supplies were stacked. It was an attempt to destroy the non FEMA relief effort. Things went flying.

Liquid Tire Chain Was Pure GM Innovation

Driving in colder climates where snow, slush, and ice are a constant reality during the winter months can prove treacherous without the right equipment. GM thought it had a magical solution to vexing problem of insufficient traction using regular street tires in winter wonderlands: Liquid Tire Chain. Introduced to the market in 1969 as option V75, shoppers could get the Liquid Tire Chain Traction Dispenser on pretty much the full Chevrolet model lineup.

The way the Liquid Tire Chain Traction Dispenser system worked was actually pretty advanced for the time. The driver could activate a control on the instrument panel, which would turn on two aerosol canisters, each mounted over the rear tires. Contained in those canisters was a polymer developed in the wonders of the space age, designed to make the tire tread pliable enough to grip the cold, slippery surface again.

    Also;

It’s not entirely clear whether GM’s Liquid Tire Chain solvent actually improved the grip of regular tires in winter conditions. Some claim it was a marvelous invention, but others say it was just snake oil. You should know only about 2,600 people ordered option V75 for the 1969 Chevrolet model year. Not shockingly, it was those buying full-size models who paid extra for the luxury.

When the 1970 model year debuted, the Liquid Tire Chain Traction Dispenser was nowhere to be found on the options list. Nobody seems to know why the technology was dropped, but it was mostly forgotten. Had GM forged ahead with the concept, would we have banished road salt entirely, saving untold numbers of car chassis and rocker panels? We’ll never know.

Night of the Living Ed: Zombie Public Schools, Drained of Pandemic Lifeblood, Haunt the Land.

When teachers’ unions buy off politicians to prevent school choice, Americans call a moving company and make the choice to leave.

A significant but unknown number of public schools across the U.S., particularly in big cities, have lost so many students in the last half-decade that many of their classrooms sit empty. Gone is the loud clatter of students bursting through crowded hallways and slamming lockers.

The harm from these half-empty schools is inflicted directly on all students in a district. Without enough per-pupil state funding to cover their costs, they require financial subsidies to remain open, forcing district-wide cutbacks in academic programs.

    and,

The permanent closure of schools slowed drastically during the pandemic, even though many urban districts suffered a major exodus of students, with double-digit losses in New York City and Los Angeles. Many hollowed-out districts have temporarily sidestepped the tempest of shutting schools because Congress provided them with a historic windfall of pandemic-related funding and wide latitude in spending it, said Georgetown Professor Marguerite Roza, who directs the Edunomics Lab.

Dental appointment went well – last of the stitches were removed and I’m healing well. The next surgery, Nov. 6, will involve an open wound on my palate as part of a tissue graft. I’m **really** not looking forward to that, and Dr. Lucena is well aware of my anxiety regarding that appointment. He’s had a palate cover made for me and we tried it on today. Again, my teeth must’ve shifted around a bit – it fits, but very tightly and he had to force it a little bit to get it on. Since he had a cancellation tomorrow, I’m going in for an overdue cleaning and he’s going to cast me again for another try at the palate cover.

I kept reminding them that I wanted a cleaning before we ordered the crowns that go on the implants. As I told Dr. Lucena, I don’t want my mouth to look like a quilt when this is all done.

Have I mentioned that I really like my dentist? He is very competent, charming, great bedside manner, and oh, he’s competent.

I’ll think of you as they slice my mouth. Well, no. I won’t. I’m sure I won’t. I may be praying for steady hands and a quick recovery.

They’re getting pretty good at track predictions.
But – wow – six/seven hours off on landfall?

These ‘pranksters’ need to get the stupid beaten out of them. Hospital time beating. When a few of them wind up crippled for life, perhaps then they will stop screwing with people.

I like reading the SCW website. They posted a piece about weather manipulation today because there’s been some banter about it the last couple of days and the fit hit the shan.

my observation of the the comment section is that it’s largely infested with dyed in the wool totalitariancrat sheep. The government is their god and the propagandist media is their manna.

Apparently the Waffle House gauge to disaster areas is in effect. At least I’ve seen several references to it. Harrumph.

Well the storm just made landfall in Sarasota just south of Tampa Bay. Cat 3 120 MPH winds but hopefully it’ll calm down some as it crosses Florida. Local TV News reports that there is not one Motel/Hotel room available in Dothan. Not sure about Podunk but the KOA across the highway is packed. The Fleabag Hilton next to it looks to be only about half full. Prayers for all the folks in Milton’s path.
