Spotted this over yonder; Electric School Busses.

    My response;
OK but not one of those statements is true. 1) No change in pollution since only a small portion of electricity comes from renewable energy. 2) Electric busses are ridiculously expensive compared to diesel busses. 3) The more electric vehicles added to the already over loaded grid doesn’t provide “grid” security. ~sigh~
Let’s see how long this stays up.

Agriculture has become a favorite target of climate activists and the ESG movement. Earlier this year, the World Economic Forum (WEF) released a report on models for financing a “sustainable transition” in agriculture.

“Global food systems need to shift rapidly to more sustainable forms of production as part of broader food system transformation efforts. Food systems accounted for more than 30% of global greenhouse gas emissions in 2020,” the report warns.

    and,

Among other initiatives it proposes, the report says farmers should be “offered a flexible stack of financial and non-financial services” to get them to switch to regenerative agriculture. Regenerative farming is an organic approach to agriculture that, among other things, uses manure instead of modern fertilizers.

In 2022, Sri Lanka became an organic farming experiment when it banned modern pesticides and fertilizers, which resulted in a complete collapse of the Asian nation’s agriculture sector and economy.

We now have the latest Democrat talking point. It goes something like this; Can Kamala Harris successfully prosecute the case against Donald Trump? They’re saying that since Harris was a Prosecutor in California she is well suited to “Prosecute” her case against the Felon Donald Trump. Clowns ~SIGH~

Made two rosaries this morning, since I’ve given away so many over the last week or so. Normally, a strung rosary takes me 30 minutes, give or take.

Unless I get sloppy with my quality control and forget to count before, during, after, and after each decade.

Then it can take me well over an hour. /sigh

But they be purdy. Two more in the stash.

Collin Wright is a well-known evolutionary biologist opposed to the corruption of human biological science. This was his post on City Journal in June. The Left is using American tapper dollars to fund falsehoods and lies to justify all the trans dogma.

The impact of this radical pivot away from objective biology to subjective identity cannot be overstated. Perhaps the most glaringly obvious consequence is in the realm of sports, where male athletes who “identify” as women are being allowed to compete in female sports, stealing scholarships and titles from female athletes. This ideology has also permeated medicine, where sex—despite multiple large-scale reviews concluding its central importance as a medical variable—is now frequently ignored. The most disturbing consequence of this ideology is the promotion of pediatric sex-trait-modification procedures, euphemistically termed “gender-affirming care.” These procedures, which aim to align a child’s physical features with his or her subjective “gender identity” through irreversible and often sterilizing hormones and surgeries, lack evidence of benefit.

The good news is that opposition to this ideology is growing. Numerous national and international sports organizations have begun to ban males from competing in female sports, and many Western nations have started to restrict “gender-affirming care,” especially in the wake of the U.K.’s recent Cass Review. This review, based on the findings of seven new systematic evidence reviews, found “remarkably weak evidence” supporting these procedures.

And this from John Solomon yesterday:

Evolutionary biologist Colin Wright, a fellow at the Manhattan Instituteand academic adviser to the Society for Evidence-based Gender Medicine, and Pepperdine University philosopher Tomas Bogardus are prominent academic critics of gender ideology.

The former filed an expert declaration supporting female prison inmates challenging California’s law that gives men who identify as women, regardless of intact male anatomy or hormone therapy, presumptive transfers to women’s prisons. He’s been deplatformed by PayPal and Etsy for his views.

The vile campaign by the National Institutes of Health is an attempt to establish scientific basis as legal evidence to overturn or block further legal actions by the states to keep trannies out of women’s sports.

  12. Tedtam Avatar

I despise those parents who force their children to suffer dangerous, non-life-affirming gender surgeries because they want a trophy child. “Hey, look, my kid is part of the latest mass psychology trend!” It’s a type of codepency write large, the liberal left; they can’t tell where their existence ends and the public begins, they have such a desire to fit in and be part of the current trend.

It is dangerous to be a young girl with tomboy tendencies these days, especially in blue areas.

One of my favorite cousins (RIP, Sandy) who dressed like a guy and had a stocky, non-feminine build. She liked to work on her motorcycle engine herself, and farmed their land (raised cattle) with her husband. For a while, she worked in the street sign making department of her town. She would rather work with her hands and be outside, and she looked it.

But she was firmly female and happy to be so. She was one of the most well-grounded, sensible people I know. She would have laughed at the idea that she was in any way a male, and would’ve punched out anyone who came near her with a knife.

Dang, I miss her and Green Cousin so much.

My Catholic podcaster this morning strayed into the secular world, discussing the latest political events involving the meat puppet. He has a masters in PoliSci (during his previous “misspent youth”), and he makes some interesting observations.

I hadn’t noticed that the resignation letter wasn’t on official White House letterhead. Also, why notify your folks via Tweet/X? Among other things.

As SuperDave posted from Over Yonder and to which I agreed: When Biden wakes up, he’s gonna be surprised to find out he’s dropped out of the race.

Anyway, here’s the video. Stine makes some interesting observations.

The Donald master trolling the Dems.

Former president Donald Trump took to Truth Social Sunday night to raise the question of whether his party should be “reimbursed for fraud” for the cash it’s invested campaigning against Biden.

“So, we are forced to spend time and money on fighting Crooked Joe Biden, he polls badly after having a terrible debate, and quits the race. Now we have to start all over again.

“Shouldn’t the Republican Party be reimbursed for fraud in that everybody around Joe, including his doctors and the Fake News Media, knew he was not capable of running for, or being, President? Just askin’?” Trump asked.

    From the C&C today:

Mr. C. has decided to not entertain the round-ups now.

He first posts a video from *last month* where Joe was touted as “sharp as a tack!”

And, just like that, BOOM. The tack fell out. As you surely already know, at 1:46pm yesterday afternoon, on a Sunday, someone operating Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr.’s Twitter account posted a hastily-written and, frankly, fake-looking de-nomination letter that some other unidentified person had typed up.

Following is Mr. C’s usual pithy prose describing the dilemma of the WH staff, trying to decide how best to break the news to the world:

Then —we don’t know whose idea it was, maybe everyone— the most effective way to make the historic, unprecedented announcement suddenly emerged from the chaotic conversation, every head nodding in agreement,

like a CVS shelf of Nancy Pelosi bobblehead dolls.

A Tweet! On Twitter! That was clearly the best and most professional way to memoralize the historic decision. Of course! So simple! Anyone with the password could do it! And it would neatly bookend Joe’s “I’m staying in the race” tweet from just three weeks ago:

Of course, Kamala wasn’t mentioned, so they had to sticky note an endorsement for her later. OOPS.

But then (and now) there are folks wondering if he’s even alive. Who’s seen him lately? No one is opening that basement door.

But, well, you know social media. Doubters everywhere. Nothing is ever good enough. Conspiracy-minded people immediately started asking questions: where is Joe? Why hasn’t he been seen for five days since he ‘got covid’ and bowed out of that fund-raiser in Las Vegas? Is he being held hostage? Is he still ALIVE? Who REALLY signed the letter?

To calm a nervous nation, not to mention NATO allies, former comedians fighting with Russians, and America’s enemies, Team Biden knew it had to do something.

They cleared Biden’s entire calendar for the next week! Including a widely publicized meeting with Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. That would reassure everybody, they concluded, and just like that, Joe’s handlers grabbed another week of downtime.

Yeah, that’ll reassure NATO that Joe’s still in charge. And embolden our enemies.

How much weirder will it get ?

We haven’t heard or seen Joe Biden in person. He offers a “stand down” letter on his own letterhead saying he won’t run for reelection and then posts it on the platform of the guy he hates, Elon Musk. Even as his staff in DC are working the phones to nail down delegates.

Mr. C. discusses Biden’s insurance policy and her chances (highly redacted, btw):

Chalk up another historic first. Assuming she can secure the nomination, Kamala would be the most diverse candidate to ever run on a major party ticket. But her approval ratings are, and always have been, languishing in the 30’s. She’s not a terrific speaker. Her gaffes are, if anything, nearly as goofy as many of Biden’s. She has long been lampooned as being Biden’s impeachment insurance, since nobody wanted to see her occupying the Oval Office.

I peeked into liberal Twitter replacement BlueSky to see how the Democrats were handling the news. Responses to the possibility of the nominee being Kamala “Joe’s Impeachment Insurance” Harris were, well, mixed:

[insert tweets and other stuff about supporting the Cackler, etc.]

Some Democrat elites do not want Kamala. But will that last? And what about voters? Biden had 3,850 pledged delegates. Now, those delegates should be permitted to choose whomever they want, with Biden out of the race.

Will the Democrat party save democracy from itself?

The Hill ran a story around 3:30pm yesterday headlined, “DNC chair vows ‘transparent and orderly process’ to choose new nominee.

We are reminded that Obama hasn’t endorsed the Cackler, nor has RFK dropped out of the race.

    Pass the popcorn.

Finally, predictable demands have already begun for Biden to step down as President, since if he can’t run for office, how can he run the office? It only took about an hour yesterday:

Ha. If they want to remove Biden under the 25th Amendment, they’ll have to find him first.

The mind reels under the weight of the unknown. Consider the possibilities for just the next 24-hour news cycle. Will Biden turn up dead or disabled, another tragic covid victim? Who will Trump run against, while Democrats dither about who their insta-candidate will be? After a week of assassination attempts, global computer resets, and disappearing candidates, what does 2024 have in store for us next?

Charlie Kirk was repeating on the radio what I thought weeks ago when Biden agreed to the debate. The people who want him out (Obama, Hillary, Kamala, etc) encouraged him to do it knowing he would look like a disaster. The backfire was Joe bowed up like an old mule and refused to quit. Then they all panicked until the capo di tutti, Nancy Pelosi, told him it’s quit or you’re gonna be swimming with the fishes.

I saw Joe Manchin of one of the Lunatic shows and most of what he said made perfect sense. He didn’t think the continuing personal attacks on Trump would work and that Democrats should focus on issues instead. He also said he would not endorse Kamala until he heard just what her platform is and did indicate that she might be too progressive to win in a general election. After that he LOST his mind and talked about what a great leader/man/patriot Joe Biden was/is. 😉

The headlights on the Vette are fogged over, damaged by sunlight like a lot of older vehicles and new ones are no longer available from Chevy. Also if you don’t know the covers aren’t replaceable, you have to replace the whole damn lamp assembly AND they only cost about $1800 each!!! If you could get them. Nate at Podunk Body Shop suggested I get a set from Vette Lights out of Oklahoma. So I ordered a set of Morimoto C7 Style LED Headlights complete with matching Fog lights @ $1550 TT&L free shipping. This is disconcerting and worrisome. I have no idea if the GOP even has anything close to this.

HaystaqDNA’s suite of sophisticated tools, including custom microtargeting and multi-channel outreach, has given Democrats a marked competitive edge. By integrating diverse data sources such as voter registration, commercial data, and social media, HaystaqDNA creates comprehensive voter profiles that inform highly targeted campaign strategies.

The impact of HaystaqDNA on major Democrat campaigns, including Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential victory and Bernie Sanders’ 2016 primary run, demonstrates how data-driven decision-making has become central to modern political operations. The implications of this technological dominance extend beyond individual campaigns, signaling a transformation in political engagement and redefining the resources necessary for electoral success in the 21st century.

Ethical concerns and challenges associated with such extensive data utilization in politics, including issues of voter privacy and potential manipulation of democratic processes, have emerged as critical considerations. These issues are particularly relevant for conservatives, as they underscore the urgent need for the GOP to bridge this technological gap.

HaystaqDNA’s methodologies, technologies, and impact provide critical insights into the current state and future trajectory of political technology. The company’s work serves as a crucial case study in the power of data to shape electoral outcomes, offering valuable perspectives for politically engaged, conservative Americans seeking to understand and respond to the Democrats’ technological advantage in modern campaigning.

Hurricane slowed that down by seven or so days, soon as those are received we close. Ended up with six offers starting first day, some low ball from shystie investors but 3 within five percent of axing. All were investors. Really liked the people who are buying it, Indian (dot) couple, he is a home builder and buyer/seller but this deal is for his wife starting out in the biz, this is her first deal. Wow. Read this from Joel Mowbray . It makes perfect sense.

But key to the cover-up was Kim Cheatle. Look at her record (detailed below), and it’s clear she was hired to help conceal from the public Biden’s true condition.

No one has more direct access to — and intimate knowledge of — the President than his protection detail. Cheatle would know this, since she had served on both Joe and Jill Biden’s details during the Obama years.

THAT is why she was hired. The Biden family needed someone they could trust in charge of the Secret Service.

    and,

In short, the USSS assigned only 3 Secret Service post standers to Trump’s rally in Butler, PA, compared to 12 post standers for Jill Biden’s (much, much smaller) dinner event an hour away in Pittsburgh.

WASHINGTON — Vice President Kamala Harris awkwardly encouraged a crowd to clap for President Biden on Monday in her first public appearance since he ended his candidacy for a second term Sunday and endorsed Harris to replace him.

“Joe Biden’s legacy of accomplishment over the past three years is unmatched in modern history. In one term, he has already …,” Harris said in a speech on the White House South Lawn, before stopping mid-sentence to add, “Yes, you may clap.”
