As much as I love his early work, Eastwood really shined once he had the stroke and cash to become a producer/director/actor.

Well, most of the veggies for dinner tonight came out of my garden. Not the tomatoes, but I did pick one half-ripe, to let it ripen inside so the bugs can’t get to it. Spouse brought Mother’s Day flowers yesterday in honor of both our Moms, who have not been with us for many years now. Neither have our Dads.
We’ve recently looked at pictures of them at our wedding, sitting the front church pews with our Dads. A lovely way to see them again at a happy time for us all.

Her Highness is waylaid with a serious sciatica attack that has rendered her barely able to move around so we had to cancel the Mother’s Day event and postpone to next Sunday. It’s cold, rainy and overcast anyway so maybe it will be sunny next weekend.
