Back from the Houston Museum of Fine Arts this afternoon to view more artists’ paintings from the late 1800s into the early 1900s. They are the generation following the Impressionists. Their work slowly begins what becomes the modernist era. You do not have to stand on your head to figure out what the paintings are… Read more »
And my clearance “I’m about to die!!!” rose that I bought last spring (and that was mowed down by Hubby) is doing well this year. I’m getting blooms and a lot more leaves. It was hanging by a thread during the summer; I made a canopy to shade it and made sure it got watered… Read more »
I just watered the garden and harvested greens for tonight’s meal: chard, lettuce, and amaranth for the salad, and some herbs for seasoning. I like chard raw as a salad green. The lemon thyme smells awesome, so it’s part of tonight’s seasoning. My chocolate mint is making a comeback now that I’ve rid it of… Read more »
