Back from the Houston Museum of Fine Arts this afternoon to view more artists’ paintings from the late 1800s into the early 1900s. They are the generation following the Impressionists. I just watered the garden and harvested greens for tonight’s meal: chard, lettuce, and amaranth for the salad, and some herbs for seasoning. I like chard raw as a salad green.
