Well it’s election day in Alabama and it’s going to be a wet one, not sure when I’ll head down to the Alabama Forestry building to vote but I’ll be watching the weather.
Mornin’ Gang -
It’s grey and foggy, borderin’ on drizzley here in the woods… Since there’s no sunshine visible, I better get busy drinkin’ coffee or I’ll wind up asleep here on the couch

Now you have your Red Belly Ford’s but how about this 58 Ford 851 Powermaster? Beautiful. 😉

This is a highly under-reported government failure of monumental proportions. It involves Gavin Newsom, Warren Buffett, the federal government, innocent electrical utility ratepayers and environmental agencies of the state of California.
The Klamath River originates in the Cascade Mountains of Oregon and flows south into California. It had four hydroelectric dams producing 169 megawatts of electricity. Now they have destroyed the dams.
I discovered this conservative leaning outfit last night called California Globe and here is their report. It really is astonishing how stupid this whole project has been. All of the environmentalists’ “science” and predictions have failed.
Is California’s Klamath River Dam Removal a Ghoulish Experiment?
‘Everything, every living mollusk, crawdad, turtle, fish, insect in and along the river is DEAD!’

This is the third article in a series about the Klamath Dam Removal project in Siskiyou County: This is the First; This is the second.

On Sunday mornings (early) I often watch the farm Report and it is fascinating to see how politics affect the farming/ranching industry all over the world.Last show the wheat and soy bean farmers in the NW are concerned about the IDIOTS taking out 4 dams on the Snake River where they ship 80% of all grain out of there. No dams, no water, no navigation. SMDH ~SPITS~

This shocking judicial ruling dropped last Friday late and I missed it. The reason you don’t know about it is because the corporate MSM doesn’t want to report it.
The fact this was a unanimous decision out of the miserably politicized DC Circuit Court of Appeals makes it even more surprising.
Judges may have improperly applied federal sentencing guidelines to more than 100 people convicted of participating in the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the US Capitol, a federal court ruled Friday.
A three-judge panel of the DC Circuit Court of Appeals rejected the Justice Department’s argument that convicted rioters merited lengthier prison sentences for interfering in the “administration of justice” when they stormed the Capitol to disrupt the certification of Joe Biden’s 2020 election win.
“[T]he phrase ‘administration of justice’ does not encompass Congress’s role in the electoral certification process,” Judge Patricia Millett wrote in the court’s unanimous ruling.
“[T]ext, context, and commentary show that ‘administration of justice’ refers to judicial, quasi-judicial, and adjunct investigative proceedings, but does not extend to the unique congressional function of certifying electoral college votes,” she added.
-
About damn time! Also that is a great find and needs to be reported somewhere.

This will be disastrous for Harris County.
Liberal billionaire George Soros has been heavily contributing to Democrat candidate for Harris County District Attorney, Sean Teare.
According to a recent campaign finance report, Soros spent just over $2 million on Teare’s campaign.
Teare is running against the incumbent Harris County District Attorney, Democrat Kim Ogg. A poll published Feb. 20 by the University of Houston’s Hobby School of Public Affairs showed Teare leading Ogg in popularity by 38 points.
Teare’s campaign has been endorsed by Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, former Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, and Harris County Precinct One County Commissioner Rodney Ellis.

How Illegal Aliens Flooding Our Border Skew Elections For Democrats Without Ever Casting A Vote
Both congressional and electoral college apportionment is derived from the number of residents in a particular area. Trump signed a memo in July of 2020 that barred illegal immigrants from being counted in the census, which is used to apportion representation in Washington. Biden, however, reversed the policy and ordered the census to include illegal immigrants and other noncitizens.
and,
As residents flee blue states like California and New York for more family-friendly and taxpayer-friendly states like Florida and Texas, Democrats need to recoup their population losses. Illegal immigrants inflate the census data, which in turn could help Democrats retain their power.
-
How removing unauthorized immigrants from census statistics could affect House reapportionment
If unauthorized immigrants were excluded from the apportionment count, California, Florida and Texas would each end up with one less congressional seat than they would have been awarded based on population change alone. California would lose two seats instead of one, Florida would gain one instead of two, and Texas would gain two instead of three, according to analysis based on projections of Census Bureau 2019 population estimates and the Center’s estimates of the unauthorized immigrant population.

China’s Roving Death Vans
The more we find out about Communist China, the more there is to loath, despite all the globalist happy talk about a “flat” world where we could export manufacturing to China for lower costs without any negative consequence. Today’s example: A government propaganda video bragging about their mobile death vans.
Chicoms have execution vans that drive up to people’s homes they don’t like, drag them out of the house into the van and inject them with fatal drugs. Nobody knows what happens to the bodies.

Scary thing is, this is the wet dream of many a lib.

This is hilarious.
A number of studios at MSNBC were closed briefly just hours before the Super Tuesday presidential elections after bed bugs were discovered in the left-wing network’s headquarters in New York, according to a report.
The New York Post reported Monday night it had obtained an internal memo to company staffers informing them of the find and what to do ahead of the busiest voting day of the primary season.
Per the memo, MSNBC alerted employees of the discovery of an “unidentified insect” inside Studio 3A at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in Midtown Manhattan.

These people at CNN will rot in hell.
To CNN and its writers, victims aren’t real victims unless they’re minorities.
An appalling article from the left-leaning news organization was published on Saturday where the author discussed how Hispanic students at the University of Georgia, the school where Laken Riley recently met her brutal death, haven’t “felt safe.”
The article goes into detail about how students aren’t feeling unsafe because an undocumented illegal is suspected of recently killing a student, but instead because racism is the greater evil.
“But then, as the news spread that the suspect in Riley’s killing was an undocumented Venezuelan migrant, Doblado said she became frightened for an entirely different reason,” the article reads.

It’s a horror story. A completely unnecessary, preventable environmental disaster caused by incompetent government.
Just like the Flint, Michigan lead in the public water system. -
Heh.
Harris County DA Kim Ogg couldn’t vote for herself today. Election workers told her someone had already voted in her name.-
I hope that makes national news.
-
Buhwhahahahahahahahaha
-
Watching ABC13. So what was Ogg’s reaction? Did she get upset that someone stole her vote? Did she point out that this is a dangerous glitch in the system and she was going to take action to see this never happens again? NO and NO. She was upset that she waited in line an hour only to find she could not vote because someone “voted for her”.

The huge new demand for electricity to power EVs will eclipsed by the insane power demands for AI computing. Nobody but Musk is raising this issue.
This is a crisis of enormous proportions. Recently, an ammunition manufacturer in Sweden was going to start construction of a large plant there when the government owned power company denied their permit because a new giant server farm dedicated to TikTok was gobbling up all the available power for the area.
AI will break all the grids.
We’ll let Musk take it from here in his own words, lightly edited:
“The artificial intelligence compute coming online appears to be increasing by a factor of 10 every six months. Like, obviously that cannot continue at such a high rate forever, or it’ll exceed the mass of the universe, but I’ve never seen anything like it. The chip rush is bigger than any gold rush that’s ever existed.
“The constraints on AI compute are very predictable… A year ago, the shortage was chips; neural net chips. Then, it was very easy to predict that the next shortage will be voltage step-down transformers. You’ve got to feed the power to these things. If you’ve got 100-300 kilovolts coming out of a utility and it’s got to step down all the way to six volts, that’s a lot of stepping down.

I got banned in record time at a pro-Trump blog. I told them I was pro-Trump but I was skipping the vote. Hilarity ensued. They did not give me a chance to explain why. It is getting harder and harder to troll some of these blogs.

Squawk, can we get links to posts previous and following? I found those helpful.
-
Tedtam I am not sure of what you want?
BTW I put the “Read More” function in so that you could do your coffee and covid and not worry about wissing anyone off. 🙂-
On the old format, when I opened the site, there was a link to the previous post, and if it was first thing in the morning I’d see a link to the current day’s post, below the OC post. For example, if I logged in on Monday and I simply clicked on the Hamous tab, I’d still see the Sunday posting with a link on the right (under the OC) to Monday’s post. I’d also see a link on the left (under the OC) to Saturday’s post. Since there are many days/nights where I don’t post, I’d click back and forth using those links to pick up what I missed. On my phone, it treats every “open Hamous.net” request as a new entry on my tab list and I have to clear it out periodically. If I use the “current” post and just move between the days’ postings, I don’t have that problem. It’s also easier on the computer; I open up my existing tab, read the posts, and then click on the right link rather than go to the address bar and request the hamous.net page again.
-
I will put that on my list of things to do. No problem.
-
-
In the previous version there was a hyperlink button to yesterday’s post.
-
Got it. I added that to my punch list of things to do.
-
-
I haven’t posted much from the C&C because I’m in a period where I’m just not at the computer as much and have been crunched for time. I was trying to be careful about the fair use rules, too, and not post too much. If I get back into my old routine, I may try to share more. I just love, love, love Mr. C’s prose. I share what brings me joy (e.g., my rosaries); it’s hard for me to not do that.
-
I share what brings me joy
As well you should.

Good Morning Hamsters,
Wow. Keep that “In case you didn’t know” picture and content posted at least once a week if that isn’t copywrited, or at least make fair use of it as you can. That should be on billboards on main highways all over the US.
Maybe Mr. Musk would be interested in sponsoring something like that. 🙂
-
I just got home from a trip to my chiropractor and from dropping off a bag of rosaries to be picked up by ladies filling in for me with the monthly rosary lesson at Blue Blossom Pregnancy Center.
Dr. Bailey remembers you, Bonecrusher. Put a smile on his face. I invited him to join us, so Squawk be on the lookout for a registration request. I hope he’ll join us; he’s a perfect fit for our little gang here.
-
Also, for those of the praying type, Dr. Bailey’s girlfriend is suffering from turbo cancer. The tumor appeared almost out of nowhere, and has grown to such a size that it is pressing on her windpipe and her heart. She is quadruple jabbed, so I’m not surprised that this has happened to her. Please pray for Dr. Bailey and Lisa. He wants her on as many prayer lists as possible.
-
And, once again, another suspected vaccine injury: a friend of mine from my old parish passed away Suddenly & Unexpectedly last night. Dave has been caring for his wife, who has some slight cognitive issues and chronic physical ailments. Knowing those two, I’m pretty sure they’ve been jabbed at least twice. I don’t know if there are children who can take care of their mom, but this is going to be difficult for Mary Ann, who depended on Dave to drive her everywhere and help manage her care.
-
And one more vaxx story: While at the church dropping off the rosaries, I met two priests from South Carolina who wanted to pray inside the church. I asked them to pray for my friends, explaining the situation. One of the priests shared that he had just buried a SEVEN YEAR OLD BOY WHO DIED FROM A HEART ATTACK! Yes, the kid was jabbed. “You know,” the priest said, “I haven’t buried a single person who died from Covid, but now I’m getting all these…..” and his voice died off.
Heads. Should. Roll.

Scary.
Clay or Buck just said he thinks Trump has chosen Tim Scott for VP.
I have watched a lot of Sen. Scott and my very strong impression is that he simply is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. -
I never understood the appeal of Kim Ogg, but what has happened that she is so unpopular as to be running 38% ? behind this Soros funded creep ?
-
If Trump is going to choose a black guy for VP I would have him pick Florida congressman Byron Donalds. The man is very sharp, very articulate and knows his politics and history.

Ogg and County Judge Hidalgo have been at bitter war over budget issues for years. Which doesn’t make Rodney Ellis happy. Ellis runs the County and Hidalgo is his puppet.
Ogg has managed to piss off some of the other top County officials.
And Ogg hasn’t been shy about investigating County corruption at the highest level.
And has never been on board with the Catch and Release policies of the county judiciary.
The Democrat machine has decided to abandon her. -
Okay, I don’t have time for the whole C&C bit, but Mr. C’s description of the train wreck that is Fani Willis just HAS to be shared: Last, but not at all least, yesterday saw more developments in the Fulton County tragicomedy now called the Fani Willis case. Soon, only robotic drone submarines will be able to still see the murky outlines of Fani’s sinking ship as it drifts down into the Marianas Trench.
-
Trump has this flaw about people he perceives to be his friends. He is obviously very loyal as a friend and will appoint them to positions even if they are not the best choices. Donald’s allegiance to friends got us Jeff Sessions as AG and Ben Carson as head of HHS. Nice guys, but neither one were cut out for the job.
Remember the embarrassment and humiliation when GW nominated Harriet Miers to take the SCOTUS seat Sandra Day O’Connor ?

They did it again.
Rehobeth JROTC wins second straight state championship; set for national competition.REHOBETH, Ala. (WDHN) — A back-to-back state champion team now resides in the Wiregrass and they call Rehobeth home.
The Rehobeth JROTC Air Rifle team won the state championship for the second year in a row and they even have the banner to prove it.
The team consisted of Jordyn Allen, Aaron White, Preston Smith, and Jazmine Coyt. They competed over the weekend and earned enough points to qualify for the Junior Olympics and CMP Nationals which will take place in June at Camp Perry in Ohio this coming June.
“Well, it was really good for us to go up there and pull off 2107, which is the highest we have ever shot in a competition at this school, but also to go up and defend our title as state champions is cool,” Rehobeth Senior Jordyn Allen said. “As you have seen in the videos before we don’t have the best range, so it was still really cool to go up there and still win state with the little amount of resources we have as a unit.”

In case anyone is interested, here’s our next speaker. It really snuck up on me.
Speaker Series – March 7, 2024
Annunciation Evangelization Quarterly Speaker Series Presents:
Hugh Owen,
Founder and Director, Kolbe Center for the Study of Creation
“Creation: The Only Firm Foundation for a Culture of Life”
Thursday, March 7, 2024
7:00 PM
The Church of the Annunciation
1618 Texas Ave, Houston 77003
Hugh Owen, is the Founder and Director, Kolbe Center for the Study of Creation. He will demonstrate that the anti-culture of death is rooted in the abandonment of the traditional Christian doctrine of creation, which is the foundation of our Faith and the only firm foundation for a culture of life.
Questions Mr. Owen will address:
- What is the traditional Catholic doctrine of Creation?
- Why is it the only firm foundation for a culture of life and for sound, pro-life scientific and medical research?
- What is the difference between sound natural science and scientism?
- How do the answers to these questions relate to the advancing anti-culture of death and the current crisis of faith and morals?
- Hugh Owen is the convert son of Sir David Owen, a former secretary general of International Planned Parenthood Federation. Mr. Owen directs the Kolbe Center for the Study of Creation which provides a forum for Catholic theologians, philosophers, and natural scientists all over the world who defend the traditional Catholic doctrine of creation that was handed down from the Apostles and who are dedicated to making sure that the evidence for and against the evolutionary hypothesis is made available to Church leaders and to the lay faithful.
- Mr. Owen and his colleagues have participated in conferences on creation and evolution at major academic centers in Europe, including several conferences in Rome and a conference at Gustav Siewerth Akademie in Germany which received the explicit blessing and encouragement of Pope Benedict XVI. He is a member of the recently-founded John Paul II Academy for Human Life and the Family. He and his wife Maria have nine children, including one who is a novice with the Benedictines of Mary, and 20 grandchildren (so far!). They live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, near Mt. Jackson, Virginia.

Entrance to my subdivision. In the ditch.

I saw some on my way back from Denton Sunday. I was thinking how I was going to time my bluebonnet road trip around my dental surgery….
-
-
Went in for my six-month check up. All good.
Although we agreed that I need some updated diagnostics on my spine since the last MRI I had was 13 years ago. Will do an MRI at Hermann-Katy sometime soon.-
so the bluebonnet was a reward for following Dr’s orders? <VBG>

The azaleas at our office started blooming last week. Next week they should be covered in blooms.
I had to make it clear to the landscaping company to not trim or otherwise harass them until after they finish blooming. Last year the idiots trimmed them in January and we had no blooms. -
It’ll be interesting to see the progression of all the horrible things that were seen 13 years ago….bulging discs, degenerative discs, multiplicity of spinal stenosis, and arthritis throughout the L1-L5 spine.
It won’t hurt to get the updated pictures and a consultation with a neuro guy. Especially since my plan is to never have surgery. 🙂
But things can change. The progression is relentless and for some reason I’m not getting any younger.
-
Headcrusher got excellent results from his lumbar surgery. Night and day difference. Don’t be such a stick in the mud, procedures have changed drdamatically over the last 30 years. At least investigate and see what they can do.

I don’t think you are imagining things about Mr. Teare. Agree there is something odd about him. Sort of like he is an actor in a play or movie who is slightly over-playing.

Beats me…I don’t know what happened there.
Anyway, Shannon, you never mentioned you have spinal stenosis. So far, I haven’t had that show up.
-
Yes. That worries them as much as any of it.
-
When your discs disappear the body eventually fuses the vertebrae together, most of the pain begins to dissipate and you adjust to the new body.
However, stenosis is progressive and never stops – as far as I know. It’s like a circular clamp on your spinal cord and nerves.

So the story goes Kim Ogg’s lesbian partner voted last week saying she lived at the same address. They said the vote was done in Ogg’s name although the woman signed her own name.
What kind of idiots are working the polls for Harris County Democrats ? They didn’t ask her for ID ? If they did why did they hand her Ogg’s ballot ?
-
Watching ABC13. So what was Ogg’s reaction? Did she get upset that someone stole her vote? Did she point out that this is a dangerous glitch in the system and she was going to take action to see this never happens again? NO and NO. She was upset that she waited in line an hour only to find she could not vote because someone “voted for her”.
-
-
Well dang Barry Moore is leading Jerry Clark 56% to 44% but with only 40% of the votes counted. I do hope that they’re not sandbagging a bunch of votes over in Baldwin county. Remember District #1 is now 41% old #1 (Moore) and 59% old #2 (Carl). Fingers crossed. 😉
-
SO did the Wicked Witch of SC pull out Vermont, winner take all (17)?
-
I don’t understand how her girlfriend could vote in Ogg’s name, unless she used Ogg’s Driver’s License.
At my polling place, the first thing they do is scan your License. That information appears on a little screen, which you confirm is correct by signing your signature.
And that all happens before you do the first scan of the blank ballot.
-
Here they scan your license, point to the name on their voter role, ask you to verify that everything is correct, and tell you to sign next to your name attesting to that, and give you a number to enter into the voting machine… only way I could see that it could happen is that she (the “partner”) signed on the wrong line… signing next to Ogg’s name instead of her own… but this IS Montgomery Co – not Harris, so who knows…
-
-
This is huge.
Three incumbents on the Texas Criminal Court of Criminal Appeals are losing.
Which is the way I voted.
-
And then there are the TX House Republicans that Paxton was trying to defeat over their impeachment vote.
Thats going to take some time to ferret out.
Good night.
