Dang look at those eyes, I highly approve of this Brunette Friday lady. Well we’re supposed to get a little rain today, I sure hope so we’re still behind. Oh and I hope the Texas Panhandle gets some relief from those wildfires. How long has it been since they’ve had fires up that way?

Pity the nation whose people are sheep,
and whose shepherds mislead them.
Pity the nation whose leaders are liars, whose sages are silenced,
and whose bigots haunt the airwaves.
Pity the nation that raises not its voice,
except to praise conquerors and acclaim the bully as hero
and aims to rule the world with force and by torture.
Pity the nation that knows no other language but its own
and no other culture but its own.
Pity the nation whose breath is money
and sleeps the sleep of the too well fed.
Pity the nation — oh, pity the people who allow their rights to erode
and their freedoms to be washed away.
My country, tears of thee, sweet land of liberty.~Lawrence Ferlinghetti

So are we going to have cook outs and keggers in celebration of Texas Independence Day tomorrow?
/Morning Dave

My how times have changed.

2 Super Dave
The great irony of that poem is Lawrence Ferlinghetti was an old socialist and, in his heart of hearts, a anarchist. He founded the City Lights Bookstore in San Francisco in the 1950s and became a secular holy icon of the Left and hippies around the world.
It’s justice reformed to expropriate “Pity the Nation” to serve the purposes of conservatism.

If anyone reading this has the bad luck to be stuck in New Jersey with a day of free time, please go and spend it at the Ellis Island museum and the Statue of Liberty.
Every American should do it at least once.

I’ve never been able to be hypnotized, but it’s quite possible Marina Laswick could do it.

Texpat, @ 7:41 AM I did catch this;
Pity the nation that knows no other language but its own
and no other culture but its own.And
Pity the nation whose breath is money
and sleeps the sleep of the too well fed. -
I’ve never been able to be hypnotized, but it’s quite possible Marina Laswick could do it.
Ditto that! Same here I couldn’t otherwise be hypnotized but she might be able to pull it off.
FWIW; IMHO I think only the weak minded can be hypnotized.
-
Is it common to attempt to be hypnotized? It’s never came up in my lifetime.

Wife was out showing houses yesterday, I think in Cypress. They came upon this home with the garage destroyed and a car upside down on top of it. Kid was texting and lost control, everyone was ok. Lady was having new tile put down in the house so most of the furnishings were in the garage, kid had no insurance. Bad day.

Retirement in Each of the Fifty States, Ranked.
Not sure I agree with all of this list but it is interesting. Totally not surprising is that Hawaii is #50, ranked dead last mostly for the ridiculous high cost of living. Didn’t BigIron45 from the LST days retire in Hawaii and then have to go back to work? In banking if I remember right. Another not surprising was California @ #49 and New Jersey @ #46. Oh and Texas was #15 beating North and South Carolina and Georgia, Louisiana #14 and Alabama #8. This is for retirement only so it doesn’t take into considerations for job opportunities.

I had two friends who were unfortunately married to psychologists. Both of them swore they could hypnotize me, but I proved them wrong.
A warning to all men: Never marry a psychologist.
Most psychologists and psychiatrists are spending their adulthood trying to resolve their own childhood traumas and mental disorders.
-
I have heard from both MDs and Chiropractors that while in pre-med (it is almost the same curricula for MD and Chiros) that those who leaned towards psychology/psychiatry were almost always at least half a bubble off center. Birds of a feather, I guess.

Was Alex Jones correct about the chemicals in the water turning frogs gay?
The above is in an interesting article in American Greatness.

Panhandle fires over a million acres now, not a lot of hope for relief in the near future. I was curious what the cattle loss is looking like, only reference I see is it in the thousands. Not to mention loss in crops.
Now the largest wildfire in Texas history.
-
Morning, y’all. I thought I was out of everything and started making a list to go to the store. Only came up with 3 items. Guess I need to walk through the house and see if that jogs my fading memory…
-
They came upon this home with the garage destroyed and a car upside down on top of it.
If you’re gonna screw up, you owe it to everyone else to do it in such a way that nobody else can figure out how you did it.

Unprecedented wildfires in the Texas panhandle and hordes of illegal aliens storming the southern border and now a kangarooed penguin put a temporary order on Abbott’s new arrest the illegals law because that’s the feds job even though the fed is the one in charge of the invasion.
if I didn’t know better I’d say it’s all an orchestrated plan but we all know that the guvmint is only here to help.

I couldn’t otherwise be hypnotized

A rancher I knew up in Brenham had a bunch of rancher/farmer friends up in the Panhandle. They all raised cattle and also grew wheat.
One day I daw the rancher right after he got back from attending a funeral in Amarillo. He told me his friends up there were all dying by the time they were 60 because of the stress. He added,”If the cattle market doesn’t get you, the wheat market will – one year to the next.”
He didn’t mention anything about fire.

A week or so ago MHarper asked you
Morning, Texpat! I’m hoping you will comment on the March 11 currency event, when the “digital dollar” will replace our current savings accounts.
You replied that you were unaware of what she spoke, Here reply was more information for your perusal.
Texpat: RE March 11…
https://investingoutlook.co/beware-executive-order-14067/?cid=MKT788871&eid=MKT792944
AND
Texpat, here’s another comment on the digital dollar issue… I was surprised to find it in Facebook… https://www.facebook.com/watch/?ref=tab
I introduced you to my good friend Britt Gillette a couple months ago when he first talked about this possible banking crisis. Now I do not know if March 11 is the date for the introduction of the new cyber banking system. (IT IS COMING BTW) but he has talked about a banking crisis that could manifest March 11.
You and EVERYONE need to watch this moobie by Britt Gillette. MHarper is on to something too.

It’s bitcoin-crypto mania out there.

The 2024 version of the California gold rush of 1848.I wanna be rich.

He didn’t mention anything about fire.
maybe because the deep state globalists weren’t interested in destroying the food supply (especially beef) at that time.
as my sage old grandpa used to say…always suspect the nefarious players hiding behind the curtain first.
He never doubted a certain alphabet agency, along with some other baddies, eliminated JFK.

I’ve watched several videos by Britt Gillette and yes, he is a smart guy.
I don’t know much about Dan Ferris. I am pretty skeptical about Porter Stansberry and his Stansberry Research though. I won’t go into it here, but you can do your own research.
I’ve never gone to the trouble to change my forgotten password for Facebook. It’s been probably 10 or 12 years since I logged-in there so I couldn’t read that article.

Texpat
Just reminding you about MHarper’s query to you for context. Like you I am very selective on resources. However my ears do perk up when these so called research boys echo what I personally have known for months. I’m not a prophet I just follow trends and something is going to let loose soon, world wide. When i say something it is for FYI, what anyone does with the info is purely up to them. My responsibility is fulfilled.

I’ve been really busy today. There is so much news out there it is truly hard to keep up.
Paula Bolyard, the editor of PJMedia, describes the news these days as if it were streaming out of a firehouse.
I didn’t have time to cover any thing today. Maybe tomorrow.

I’ve been saying…
What can’t go on, won’t go on.
It’s like they teach you in physics and these are Sir Isaac Newton’s Laws of Universal Gravitation:
(substitute money and/or capital for each blue phrase)
- First Rule: An object will remain at rest or in a uniform state of motion unless that state is changed by an external force.
- Second Rule: Force is equal to the change in momentum (mass times velocity) over time. In other words, the rate of change is directly proportional to the amount of force applied.
- Third Rule: For every action in nature there is an equal and opposite reaction.
These rules apply to capital/money no matter what the form of government, free market capitalism, totalitarian dictatorships or communist thugocracies.
There is not a damned thing the most greedy, ignorant and deceitful human being can do to alter these rules.

HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM
I am working to fix this thing. yes it broke and it might take me a day or so to fix it.
Use the site as much as it will let you.
There will be times when it will be down.
Admins you should still be able to post.
-
This could get interesting
-
I was at my bank yesterday and everything seemed normal. I didn’t expect that asking any questions about March 11 would be productive, so I didn’t ask anybody anything.
I did some stocking up today, for me and for the cats.
-
Okay I have this down to a minimalist site. The blog should be stable. It is going to take me a some time to decorate the place but when I get done things should run smoother and faster.
-
Thank you for your untold hours of work keeping this thing running.
Long live Hambone!!!

It’s no big deal. Just letting you know that I have no access to the dashboard.
