Hubby just finished giving the yard a haircut. I asked how he handled the onion odor, whereupon he gave a deep breath and said ‘It’s pretty strong back there. What I really need are goggles!” He and I agreed that the bug population is getting off to a rousing start this year.

These are the onions I harvested from my yard, from the 4×8 plot that is now home to my asparagus plants. TW and I are in Tulum, the shooting took place a few miles away. This is first I have heard of it. There is a heavy police presence here, federal, provincial, municipal. They mostly drive around with what I assume are M-16’s, no foot patrols that I have seen.
