Mark Tapscott, the venerable old newsman from Texas writes…
The Truth About the COVID Vaccine Is Finally Becoming Known
It’s a research paper entitled “COVID-19 mRNA Vaccines: Lessons Learned from the Registrational Trials and Global Vaccination Campaign” that appeared on the internet at the Cureus Journal of Medical Science. The abstract bears your close reading and then re-reading, especially if you are one of the millions of Americans who did what public health gurus like Dr. Anthony Fauci incessantly told us to do and “followed the science.”
Here’s the abstract, but I’ve broken it into multiple paragraphs to aid your reading, and I’ve included my own emphasis of highlights.
I am doing my own editing here on the abstract.
Our understanding of COVID-19 vaccinations and their impact on health and mortality has evolved substantially since the first vaccine rollouts. Published reports from the original randomized phase 3 trials concluded that the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines could greatly reduce COVID-19 symptoms.
and,
Re-analysis of the Pfizer trial data identified statistically significant increases in serious adverse events (SAEs) in the vaccine group. Numerous SAEs [Serious Adverse Event] were identified following the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA), including death, cancer, cardiac events, and various autoimmune, hematological, reproductive, and neurological disorders. Furthermore, these products never underwent adequate safety and toxicological testing in accordance with previously established scientific standards.
plus,
The risk-benefit imbalance substantiated by the evidence to date contraindicates further booster injections and suggests that, at a minimum, the mRNA injections should be removed from the childhood immunization program until proper safety and toxicological studies are conducted. Federal agency approval of the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines on a blanket-coverage population-wide basis had no support from an honest assessment of all relevant registrational data and commensurate consideration of risks versus benefits. Given the extensive, well-documented SAEs and unacceptably high harm-to-reward ratio, we urge governments to endorse a global moratorium on the modified mRNA products until all relevant questions pertaining to causality, residual DNA, and aberrant protein production are answered.
Looks like the wet stuff will hang around a bit longer into Monday morning before the sun takes over. Such is winter in Texas, wait 5 minutes and it will change to something else.
Shannon,
Thanks, I set the DVR on the Dish.
Dang I didn’t think she’d ever leave. Just kidding, my wife sometimes says that when sister comes over. 😉 Oh and the supper was great, sister really loved the chicken N taters AND the carrots.
It’s been a wet and rainy day here but we did get over an inch of slow rain so that’ll help the ponds.
The weather was beautiful today. I spent some time outside, went to the store. I came home and I guess my insomnia reduced sleeping period last night hit me like a ton of bricks. I laid down for “just a minute” and woke up some time later, in time to fix dinner. I ate, laid down again, but forced myself up. If I fall asleep again I *will* be up all night again.
So, I’ll try to study some Latin. I missed it the last few days with all of my verklemptness over my business computer not working properly.
I spent almost all day outside. You have no idea how great it was after at least six weeks of wet, dark weather.
The north wind is still strong , and the temp is down to 61. Old Glory and the Be My Valentine flag are swinging rather fast on the front porch that faces NW. I think they should be taken down soon. Spouse, who has to do that, is not very concerned that they might blow away since they didn’t blow away during the day. We shall see what happens or does not happen. We do have memories of chasing flags bouncing around the yard and a pasture years ago…. hunting by flashlight with a little help from the Moon.
By the way, if any of you receive the GRIT channel, they are starting Lonesome Dove at 7pm tonight and finishing it tomorrow night.
KTRK (ABC13) disappeared from my television during the last storms and hasn’t come back.
So, I decided to do a channel search.
Oops. It’s really gone now.
Oh, well, I’m pretty sure there isn’t a single program on ABC that I watch.
But still….
Penn State got their revenge in the 1972 Cotton Bowl, whipping Texas 30-6.
Believe it or not, Texpat, I vividly remember that Penn State was not too happy that Nixon declared the Longhorns the National Champions.
The Nittany Lions had just completed two undefeated/untied seasons.
People have been whining incessantly since then for a real playoff.
I handed out three rosaries and three St. Michael chaplets today. Gave the rest of my stash to a friend at church for some upcoming events, where they’ll be handed out.
Gotta start a new stash.
A hot, crusty baguette has to be in the top five joys of life. Or sins.
Speaking of appliances… Hubby went the rounds wrestling with my washing machine, and the machine won. Hubby’s determined the problem is the transmission, and a new one costs as much as a whole new machine.
So guess what we’ll be doing online tonight? Yup, shopping for a new machine.
And this one isn’t that old.
#42 Shannon, sounds just fine to me. I just put 6 chicken thighs in my Dutch oven with new taters and my world famous honey mustard garlic sauce. I also have some baby carrots in honey garlic Sriracha sauce in with it. Warm up some little Le Sueur peas and Hawaiian rolls and we’ll have a fine supper. Sister is here and I don’t think she has had chicken fixed this way before. 😉
Oh, and some of my birthday wine. A 2023 Argentine Malbec made by Fay’s son.
Ahhhhhh.
Early supper, grampa.
Shrimp Gumbo with hot, buttered, crusty baguette.
Eureka!

Thats a pretty good one.
JP tends to take a good three-minute bit and drag it out forever.
But that one was worth it. 🙂

Half tons now have these big ol’ tires and brakes.
I’d be interested to know what kind of modern advancements they have made in suspensions. You have a half ton pickup that now rides like an old Town Car but can still pull (safely?) over 10K???
Or maybe, they’ve just gotten bigger? 🙂
There’s been a longtime ongoing race concerning Towing Capacity among these manufacturers.
You wouldn’t be dragging around 10,000+ pounds with a 1987 half-ton truck.
It’s gumbo day again. Zatarain’s this time, which continues to be my favorite. They don’t try to keep the cayenne folks in business.
I knew we had a 4quart pot around here, I just haven’t seen it in 18 months. I’ve been using a too large 6qt. Finally got down on my hands and knees and found it in the back. Beautiful, big, heavy mother. A joy to cook with.
Stove Porn, O’Keefe & Merrit.
JP Sears on the border.
good stuff.

Morning, chickadees!
Darn it, I thought I was almost done with my Sunday sudoku, when I noticed I had an error. I think I’ll print it again and start over.
I am afraid I’ve been giving Billy Cat too much food — he is getting chubby.

I never looked to see if Toyota offers this $10K truck with a 4WD option. That would be perfect for a lot uses.
Texpat @ 10:06, from you article; If you are curious, the engine in the test vehicle was a 1TR-FE 2.0-liter four. In dual-VVTi form as found in the current Hilux, it makes 137 hp. That had to contend with a curb weight of 1,555 kg (3,248 lbs). 140 H/P and 3250 Lbs curb weight makes for a decent power to weight ratio and that 2 Liter Toyota engine is a tried and true bulletproof little engine. I’d love to have one of those to replace my trusty Kawasaki Mule. They’d be smart to offer it here for off road use… Read more »
33 Bonecrusher The story isn’t about your truck or your right to own and drive it. Take a 1995 to 2005 Ford F-150 XLT and park it next to a 2024 version. It ridiculous. The point of this article is to illustrate how government regulation, in collusion with huge domestic manufacturers, end up screwing the American consumer by manipulating and distorting the truck market. The bigger, fancier and more expensive trucks become, the bottom brackets of the market are left with nothing affordable. It is backwards in logic. There was no massive public demand to have physically larger, heavier trucks.… Read more »
The $10,000 pickup truck the US government, in collusion with American automakers, will not let you buy.

My 2016 F150 Super Cab XLT rides great, is reasonably quiet at 80 MPH and get 20 mpg or better with all around driving. When I need to, I can go through high water, over curbs, carry lumber or whatever, etc. It fits my lifestyle well and the notion of some fargin Karen griping that it is too big or whatever falls on deaf ears.
Why Are Pickup Trucks Ridiculously Huge? Blame Government. Regulations, tariffs, and other government-imposed hurdles reward American car companies for building bigger, more expensive trucks and keep out any potential competitors. One of my favorite economic rules is simple. Whenever a progressive scold blames capitalism or private companies for a “market failure”—i.e., the inefficient or seemingly inexplicable distribution of goods or services in the economy—it’s best to dig a little deeper. Almost always, some government regulation, tax, or law is largely to blame. One recent example involves the proliferation of mega-pickup trucks. It doesn’t take scientific analysis to notice these vehicles,… Read more »

It was all predicted.
Prime ribeyes at Costco are $20+ per pound now. Everything down the quality scale rises and falls with that benchmark.
Costco held their 88% lean ground beef at $2.99/lb. for years in the face of fluctuating herd and retail pricing. Covid, inflation and supply chain disruption finally broke them and over a 2 year period ending a year ago they raised the price to $3.99/lb.
Beef ribs at $11.99/lb. seems absurd to me when most of my life they had to give them away.
MAZE @mazemoore This is hysterical, check this out. After getting caught plagiarizing and lying about a bunch of things in 1987, Biden dropped out of the Presidential race. He was asked about claims he made about being an activist for civil rights and he came clean, admitting that none of it was true. Years later he resurrected the lie and in 2012, while speaking to the NAACP, Biden claimed that he would go to “Reverend Wright’s” church before heading out to desegregate movie theaters. In 2014 Biden replaced Wright with Reverends Moyer and Holloway. Both Reverends were asked about Biden,… Read more »
I watched the Farm Report earlier and they were talking about Beef Cattle. The US Cattle Herd is the lowest it’s been since 1951 and the Cow herd is the lowest since 1961. With the bad weather and crazy economy the cattlemen are low on heifers to replace their herds. In 2022 & 2023 51% of all the beef slaughtered were female. They were saying it will be late in 2025 before any of this turns around. This depresses me but I can’t imagine how badly Texpat feels about it.

That was great! I saw in the comments: “Prince is the guy who shows up at high school wearing a cape, and then actually flies.”
Or something like that.
Well, I *finally* got my Quickbooks file up and running. I spent hours trying to get my reset computer to open the files, but I kept hitting roadblocks. I finally wandered into a dialog box that asked if I wanted QB to find a file. I’d been pointing at my files, waving big ol’ flags over the files, sent up flares, tried to drag QB’s body over to them…but none of it worked. Finally it asked for permission to go look for the files by itself, and voila! it opened the files. So I was finally able to run Handyman’s… Read more »

Steven Hayward’s THE WEEK IN PICTURES: PSY-OP EDITION Have you heard? The Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift tie-up is some kind of deep state psy-op that will culminate in a Swift endorsement of Joe Biden at midfield at the end of a victorious Super Bowl victory in which Kelce will set new pass reception records with the help of an officiating crew drawn from suspended UNRWA staff. But this is just one giant misdirection, and I can’t believe people are falling for it. With north of 100 million people tuned in, the Kelce-Swift 2024 ticket will be announced, replacing Biden-Harris. Their first… Read more »

If yes, will the case get dropped?
