The weather folks are darned serious about the heat predicted for the next few (we hope) days. Summer just rudely hopped over Spring and would seem to be moving in. By the time we get to August we will be praying for an early Fall to magically appear.

Indeed those bags can be tricky. I found a way to outsmart them by folding the closed top down and anchoring it with a clothespin or a big paperclip. It looks rather strange but it works. 🙂

Great news travels fast. Saw your post about when you can go home this afternoon. Rest up for as long as needed/wanted. Having things back to “normal” can take a little while to get used to. In a manner of speaking, the “silence” is deafening for a bit 🙂
You can never be 100% sure that they are sealed and digging around in the freezer they can slide open.
I’ve always thought those freezer bags with the “slider” closure are totally useless.

Please extend my condolences if you get to talk to her. She was totally unaware of this little group of his friends until a few weeks ago.
About Texmo’s service, I really wanted to try and make it but just didn’t get things rounded up in time. I’m sure a few of our group will represent us well. Prayers go out to the family in this difficult time. I keep thinking about what he told Tedtam; “I’ll not make my 50th birthday”. 🙁
