On the 10 pm news tonight was the scene of President Biden tripping and falling on concrete as he was stepping down from the lectern after having completed a speech.  Secret Service to the rescue in carefully getting him up again.  This man is neither physically nor mentally capable of being President, and it is easy to imagine what our… Read more »

After watching some of the Texas House members engaged in debate, I seriously doubt whether any of them are intellectually or verbally qualified  to conduct the trial over in the Senate.

They started this Session with a $32 Billion Dollar surplus above the last biennial budget. The Texas House doesn’t care what Rusty and Dick charge.

FWIW; The sand @ White Sands New Mexico is very fine also but I doubt it is as fine as the Sahara.

Super Dave

The sand in the Sahara is like nothing I’ve seen in other parts of the world. It is finer than milled wheat flour. That is because it has been whipped back and forth across the desert for thousands of years until it is fine and smooth like tiny round balls. There was an old trivia question about what was one… Read more »

When we visited the mountain top village of Erice (air-uh-chay) in Sicily, I could see the distant outline of Africa. Robert told us that the bricks on the roofs were to hold the roof tiles down when the African winds got fierce. “And no matter how tightly you seal your house,” he said, “there will still be sand in piles… Read more »

#44 Tedtam, Might that call for having an adult beverage nearby before attempting to read Hunter’s laptop contents? 🙂 Must assume that currently the web is frozen solid by millions of folks trying to look at the contents of that laptop.  I shall wait for reliable conservatives to comment on them first before charging headlong into what’s online now, if… Read more »

Oh, man, what a show this will be.

Prominent lawyers Dick DeGuerin and Rusty Hardin will serve as lead prosecutors for the Texas House in the Senate impeachment trial of suspended Attorney General Ken Paxton.

Good news: Legislators have ended annual vehicle Safety Inspections in Texas, like most states have done.

Bad news: The $7.50 safety inspection fee will be added to the already exorbitant annual Registration Fee. Because the SOBs just can’t give up that money.

You people in certain counties will still have to get emissions testing done.

If you’re in a high risk environment, go for the antibiotic stuff.

For regular household use, doctors and I both recommend the non-germicidal stuff.

Why is the USA still in the UN?!?  They are nothing but a bunch of rapists and thieves engaging in said evil via our tax dollars.

Why not put the NORKS on the Human Rights Commission, it would make as much sense.

My New Jersey visit made a body wash convert out of me. Dove Antibacterial body wash is the bomb. Clearly, Tedtam and I have differing opinions on antibacterial soaps. I get too many nicks and cuts to not use these products. I don’t work any wastewater plants anymore, but I did manage to hook up with a pretty vicious infectious… Read more »

I actually am considering doing some mystery shopping.  I went to a class with a lady who does a variety of side hustle jobs, and I bought her book on how to go about applying for the shopping trips and how to do it right. Hubby and I were mystery shoppers for a now-defunct chain of restaurants called Victoria Station. It was a night to remember, for all the wrong reasons.  It took our food forever to arrive, Hubby’s tea glass wouldn’t get refilled until I physically left the table and wrangled the manager personally, etc.  We started our meal around 7 p.m.  We were… Read more »
