Democrats across the nation are expressing deep concerns about the potential impact of the Hollywood Writers Guild strike on the normalization of degeneracy in popular culture. As the strike looms, Democrats fear that without the steady stream of morally questionable content coming out of Hollywood, society might actually have a chance to, dare we say it, normalize healthy and responsible behavior.

For years, Democrats have relied on Hollywood to push the boundaries of what is considered acceptable in society. From promoting pedophilia to glamorizing substance abuse, Hollywood has been instrumental in championing a culture of degeneracy that aligns perfectly with the progressive agenda. However, with the writers’ strike threatening to disrupt this carefully crafted narrative, Democrats are scrambling to find alternative ways to advance sex with children.

plus this,

The Democratic National Committee has even begun reaching out to celebrities who are not part of the Writers Guild, begging them to continue producing morally questionable content in order to maintain the status quo. It’s a desperate move, but one that highlights the party’s deep concern over losing their grip on the culture war.

#50 Shannon,

Same here.  Also get up stiff for several steps if I’ve been sitting very long, even in a comfortable chair or couch.

If I’m moving, I’m usually okay.  Standing still, not so much.

Amen. Standing on concrete is the devil.

Are you a fish hater in general? Or what?
Fish stew is just a different version of  gumbo. Gumbo hater, too?

You ever tried a fish taco? Do you hate all fried fish? Or just that wrapped in a flour tortilla?

I did some grocery shopping this afternoon. Found some thrift store items I wanted, then to Aldi.  I was in line to check out and was waiting my turn. If I’m moving, I’m usually okay.  Standing still, not so much.  As I’m  patiently waiting for the gentleman in front of me to get checked out, a lady who had checked… Read more »

With nothing on TV worth watching, I’m watching Lidia Bastianich cook her glorious orthodox Italian cuisine.

Have watched her for years on public television. Right now she’s making an incredible fish stew. With Grouper, clams, and shrimp.

Oh my.

#35 #36 That is pretty damn hard to believe but I’m glad they pulled it off. I do wonder how it happened though.

I was wrong on this issue. I never believed that it would happen. I guess some of those flaccid pencil RINOs in the House were reading their emails.

I was wrong also.

We’re getting a good rain. It started about dark after a sunny day and we’ve got almost an inch (.94″)  last count. Lost of thunder boomers so it’s been nice. In other news we are planning on going fishing in the morning weather permitting so I got the old Jon Boat out and pressure washed it, lashed onto the top… Read more »

Authored by New Braunfels Republican Sen. Donna Campbell, SB 14 would prohibit trans Texans under the age of 18 from accessing transition-related medical treatments including puberty blockers, hormone therapies and surgeries — though surgeries are rarely performed on kids. The bill would also require trans youth who are already getting this care to be “weaned off” in a “medically appropriate”… Read more »

Evening, y’all. I had a nice long nap, then got up to feed hungry mouths everywhere I looked. After the rainy days, Billy seems to have gone back to the adjacent back yard, although I haven’t spotted where he curls up over there. I think there is also one young raccoon that holes up in that yard, and comes out… Read more »

I spent about 4 hours in the Sun today. Got a lot of gardening done, which I haven’t been able to do for the past few days because of all the rain. I’m now out of the shower, and I looked at my arms. I’m getting a very definite tan line from my tank tops. I’m also attaining that color… Read more »

Yea for Alberta.  The western provinces of Canada are much more like us in our Midwest and far West than they are like eastern Ontario and the rest of the Eastern Provinces.  British Columbia in the west would likely not want to come since it is pretty much like our current messed up west coast states.

Morning, gang. I need to “get a move on”, as the old folks used to say. I made it through the weekend, but must go to the store today, or face rebellion from my yard friends. We just barely made it through last night. Billy Cat seems to have bunked in the gazebo last night — based on seeing him… Read more »
