Well, this might ‘splain a lotta things:

U.K.’s Largest Pediatric Gender Clinic Ignored Autism Connection In Teens Seeking Sex Changes, New Book Claims

This is from the Daily Wire, so you may not be able to access the text at the source.

The U.K.’s largest pediatric gender clinic has been accused in a new book of medicalizing teens with comorbidities, including more than a third of patients who showed signs of “moderate to severe” autism.

The book, “Time to Think: The Inside Story of the Collapse of the Tavistock’s Gender Service for Children” by BBC Newsnight journalist Hannah Barnes, alleges that the the Tavistock Clinic, an NHS facility in the U.K. officially called the Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS), ignored evidence that 97.5% of children seeking chemical and surgical sex reassignment services had autism, depression, or other problems that may have explained their unhappiness.

Just reading that much, it fits with the groomers picking on the mentally unhealthy. /spits

After conducting over 100 hours of interviews with clinicians and patients during research for the book, Barnes found that staff at the facility sought to push a pro-transgender policy and, as one whistleblower put it, treated children who might not have been transgender as “collateral damage.”

According to the book, former staff said many children, including those with neurodevelopmental disorders like autism and ADHD, were unnecessarily prescribed drugs and even surgery. The book reports that less than 2% of children in the U.K. have an autism spectrum disorder, but approximately 35% of GIDS referrals “present with moderate to severe autistic traits.”

Children and adolescents on the autism spectrum are disproportionately represented among the large, newly emerging cohort of children claiming to be transgender. Over the past 10 years, there have been at least nine studies connecting Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and transgender identities. Rates of autistic traits in these studies range from 5% to 54% among those with gender dysphoria, significantly higher than among the general population.

Some researchers believe the percentage of young girls with autism who believe they’re experiencing gender dysphoria is actually higher, and that many females who have autism go undiagnosed. Up until recently, autism was considered a “boy’s diagnosis,” affecting males-to-females by a ratio of 4-to-1. Experts now believe that girls’ autistic traits present differently, which may require a separate diagnostic criteria to detect.

A recent study published in 2022 used a mathematical model to predict the true male-to-female ratio, which they estimated as being closer to a 3-4 ratio. The study notes, “Eighty percent of females remain undiagnosed at age 18, which has serious consequences for the mental health of young women.”

The following paragraphs further down the article almost made me jump out of my chair:

Barnes reports that some staff at GIDS felt that children who would have reconciled themselves with the bodies they were born with were being denied that chance by the use of drugs. Dr. Anna Hutchinson, a senior clinical psychologist at GIDS, stated that the service quickly began to “accept everyone.”

Although puberty blockers were intended to give children “time to think” about whether they wanted to transition fully, Dr. Hutchinson realized that almost all of them ended up taking cross-sex hormones such as testosterone and estrogen, which have irreversible effects. When she recognized this, it was a “holy f***” moment for her.

There’s more, but you get the idea.

Years ago there was a famous picture of a vulture waiting in the background for a young child close to death in the foreground.  That’s how I picture these pieces of human debris who are waiting to take advantage of the mentally impaired.

I do love a story with a happy ending. 😀

Woman accidentally runs over and kills man trying to steal her catalytic converter.

The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department said that the unidentified woman who accidentally ran over and killed the man was sleeping inside her Ford Excursion in the car park of a Palmdale shopping centre.

This is when a group of four alleged thieves pulled up next to the woman in her SUV just before 6:00pm local time on Tuesday (14 February).

The press release added: “The victim woke up from the sound, turned the car on, put the vehicle in reverse, and felt a bump like she ran something over.”

The woman then immediately stopped her car and called 911, with the alleged thief lying beneath the car.

When officers arrived at the car park located on the 39000 block of 10th Street West, Palmdale, they found the Ford partially backed out of a parking space with the man still underneath it.

Meanwhile, the alleged thieves’ car was still parked right next to the big SUV.

I surely did not imagine THIS being possible………..

Saying that DeSantis “is shrewd, ruthless, and ambitious”, George Soros delivers an endorsement of the Florida governor adding, “He is likely to be the Republican candidate.”

When billionaire leftist and creepy globalist George Soros is complimenting your personality attributes, you just might be doing the whole Republican presidential candidate thing wrong. Just sayin’.

“My hope for 2024 is that Trump and Governor DeSantis of Florida will slug it out for the Republican nomination. Trump has turned into a pitiful figure, continually mourning his loss in 2020. Big Republican donors are abandoning him in droves. DeSantis is shrewd, ruthless, and ambitious. He is likely to be a Republican candidate,” Soros said.

#8 – I’ve been starting my seeds in the little greenhouse in peat pots.  I fill them about half full of potting soil with the assumption that I will add more soil to strengthen the root systems after they germinate and begin to grow a little bit.  My squash seeds seem to be germinating, but I can’t really tell about the melons or the tomatoes yet.  I’ve also planted some marigolds that seem to have little green shoots showing already.  Last freeze around out here is not until April, so I’m hoping to have some fairly good healthy plants to put in the ground by that time.

Last year I started some tomatoes and peppers inside and they did OK, but I’m liking having the little greenhouse to keep all that stuff outdoors this year,.  So far it’s doing a good job of deflecting the strong winds that seem to like to blow up on this hill too.

I just dropped the wife off at Enterprise to get her wheels. She needs transportation while I’m off to Bastrop later today. She was going to Uber to the Hen Party and get Dana to chauffeur her if needed but she really needs wheels, can’t function without them and neither can I.

So Enterprise wants $20 to deliver a vehicle?!?!? For years they delivered and picked them up for free, part of the service. If she was still in the insurance business they’d have taken care of her anyway since she gave them tons of business. Back in the day, we’ve had free rentals.  😉

    REVIVED ☙ Friday, February 17, 2023 ☙ C&C NEWS

Good morning, C&C, and Happy Friday! I am pleased to present another “good news” edition where the majority of the roundup will encourage you. In today’s bag: a reassuring update on Project Veritas; Florida drops a massive bombshell on the vaccines; Naples county cancels CDC contract; East Palestine developments; GOP lawmakers consider ending FISA; YouTube CEO steps down; Joe Biden explains we just shot down a recreational balloon and some folks aren’t buying it; Florida sets tourism records; a nonstop revival at a small Kentucky college electrifies the Christian world.

    *****************

One downside of having a lawyer as your blogger is that, due to professional experience, I usually won’t wade into a brand new debate until I have some verifiable facts. Sometimes that means I wait a few days to comment, like with the Project Veritas issue. But at last, I’ve got some facts together and am ready to give you a quick report.

I’ve been waiting to hear from corporate and yesterday they got around to reaching out to me. They were (obviously) limited about what they could say, and some of what they told me is attorney-confidential…

    /snip

Next, according to my contact, contrary to widely circulated rumors, there has been no change to James O’Keefe’s employment status. His title has not changed. His office has not changed. His salary has not changed. His two-week involuntary vacation ends on Monday.

    /snip

But there are so many potential angles we cannot possibly know whether to oppose or support the board. I’ll give you just one example. Let’s say that on the company’s internal chat system, several staff publicly accuse the CEO of Acme Media of sexually harassing a temporary female intern at a company retreat.

As counsel to Acme, I would advise that the best practice for handling that delicate situation is for the board to give the CEO two weeks off while human resources conducts an investigation.

    /snip

    ….

It it were a takeover situation, I would have expected O’Keefe to have already filed for an emergency injunction somewhere.

Let’s see what happens on Monday. I think everything is going to be okay.

I read that one of the donors who was supposedly so upset by O’Keefe as to be a cause for his removal had adamantly refuted the accusation in the leaked letter, and has said they will stop being donors if O’Keefe is forced to leave.

    So there ya’ go.

    More C&C:

… Florida Surgeon General Ladapo sent a letter to the CDC and FDA demanding they admit that the vaccines are causing unacceptably-high levels of injury: [insert image of strongly worded letter here]

Haha, he put “safe and effective” in quotation marks and called that a “claim.”

… on Wednesday, after sending the letter to the federal agencies, Florida’s Health Department also released a “Health Alert on mRNA COVID-19 Vaccine Safety,” which was sent to all Florida healthcare providers. The alert included this chart showing the massive spike in VAERS reports since the mRNA EUA jabs’ rollout: [insert eye opening chart]

The Health Alert also cited three recent studies (plus the CDC’s anemic stroke advisory) about the risks posed by the mRNA vaccines. Check out how many types of injury were included: [insert eye opening list of jab collateral damage “side effects”]

    /snip

Florida just became the first state in the country to officially label the vaccines as being generally risky. Florida might also be the largest political subdivision in the world to do have done that.

DeSantis for President!   Thisis one time where I wouldn’t have a problem with Abbott being a follower instead of a leader.  At least following DeSantis’ lead would be progress.

  18. Tedtam Avatar

Next up: Florida returns a big CDC grant, which appears to be more for pharma prop and not any real effective activity.

In other words, the CDC’s outdated “education materials” were indistinguishable from pharma marketing materials. In fact, it’s worse than that. Pharma is required by law to state their drugs’ side effects in their drug ads. But now they’ve found a way to get around that requirement: by having official U.S. government agencies do the marketing for them. It’s so simple!

Childers reports that Russia is finally calling for a Nordstream UN Security Council meeting.

Right after I said yesterday that the Russians were being a bit too quiet about Nord-Gate, Reuters ran a sobering story headlined, “Russia to Call U.N. Security Council Meeting Over Nord Stream Blasts.”

    Finally.

Russia announced yesterday it has called a special United Nations Security Council meeting, scheduled for February 22nd, to discuss the sabotage of its Nord Stream gas pipelines. Meanwhile, the U.S. continues to officially deny any involvement in the sabotage operation, calling the allegations it had anything whatsoever to do with the operation “utterly false.”

I remember when Biden kept threatening to take anyone who spoke against “behind the woodshed” or some such, flexing his nonexistent muscles in a show of fake masculinity.  I wonder if he’d do that to Putin?

  20. Tedtam Avatar

    Death of FISA?

The Washington Times reported that House GOP lawmakers are considering NOT renewing the FISA surveillance authorization, for the first time ever since that awful law hit the books, during some long-forgotten state of “emergency.”

Childers has other stories (see roundup), but he ends with the ongoing revival at Asbury.  Tucker said that he was going to bring a crew to do a story on it, and he personally wanted to see it and feel the experience.

He is respecting the request to keep his crew away.  He was told that what was going on in Asbury was purely spiritual and not for TV cameras.

Tucker is a class act, and is not forcing himself on the event.

May the revival be harbinger of better times to come.  Jesus is suddenly getting the attention he deserves.

    From the C&C comments:

On another note, yesterday I had the unfortunate experience of seeing a Pfizer ad in my Facebook feed, so I reported it as fake news. I am absolutely sure my action will be a game changer…

I saw an ad for Pfizer as well – this one involving something for children. I reported it as violence bc Pfizer needs to stay away from anything kid-related for the rest of its days – at least in public ad campaigns!

    Okay, that made me LOL.

There are zillions of earthquakes going on all the time.  The vast majority are too minor for people to feel.

There are also many that you can feel, but don’t even cause stuff in shelves to even rock. These feel like a heavy truck driving by.

There are a few that cause stuff on shelves to rock and maybe fall off. They’re very disconcerting and people tend to grab something for stability.

The big ones are thankfully very rare and usually make the news, especially if near a population center.

Here’s a nifty guide from our friends at the USGS.

Highly respected investigative reporter, Jeff Gerth, has written a 24,000 word report in the Columbia Journalism Review vindicating President Donald Trump and exposing the unprofessional and corrupt behavior of all the corporate news media.  Early on, Gerth was even recruited by his former employer, The New York Times, to use his contacts in Swiss banking who managed Russian financial accounts to provide dirt on Trump.  He turned them down because he thought the Russia collusion story was a fiction from the beginning.  Amazingly, so did Bob Woodward.

Woodward went further with his Washington Post colleagues, reports former New York Times investigative journalist Jeff Gerth in a monumental takedown of media coverage of Trump, “The Press Versus the President.” After the Fox News appearance, Woodward told Gerth in an interview, he “reached out to people who covered this” at the Post to express his concerns. Reporters at the Post ignored him, Woodward said. “To be honest, there was a lack of curiosity on the part of people at the Post about what I had said, why I said this.”

Gerth, like Woodward, is very much a figure of the media elite, a storied and widely respected investigative reporter. “The Press Versus the President” appears in a leading industry publication, the Columbia Journalism Review. Few news organizations “have reckoned seriously with what transpired between the press and the presidency,” Gerth writes. His 24,000 word, four part report goes a long way to correcting the record. It likely will remain a landmark study of media malfeasance for decades to come.

Gerth focuses on the Times, the Washington Post, and the Wall Street Journal—still the standard setters across the journalistic spectrum. At the root of the problem in the Trump era, Gerth writes, “was an undeclared war between an entrenched media and a new kind of disruptive presidency.”

plusHe reminds us that the Steele Dossier exploded on to the media scene after Trump won the election but before he was inaugurated—setting in motion a chain of events that embittered the new president toward the press and touching off dreams of a new Watergate among legions of ambitious reporters. He gets the former president and others on the record in interviews that offer revealing glimpses into the psychological dynamics at work on both sides of the war.

A quick check inside the greenhouse indicates the squash is germinating very nicely.  The watermelons are about half germinated, and only a few tomatoes breaking the surface.  It’s really too cold to be messing with that stuff so I just zipped it back up and let it be.  Still showing good humidity with all the condensate in there, and the combined effort of sunshine and a 60 watt incandescent bulb seem to be keeping the temps withing range.  If it warms up in a couple of days I’ll get in there and sort some stuff out a little better and maybe even raise the soil levels in some of the planting cups.  .

  32. Tedtam Avatar

I’ve decided not to grow squash this year. Maybe LATE in the growing season, but I am not going to put myself through the mental trauma of watching beautiful squash plants suddenly from the beautiful but PITA squash vine borer moth.  I remember so many times I was anticipating a beautiful squash and going out the next day to find the plant dead.  Or finding a larvae eating my baby squash from the inside out.  I remember the stress of being always on the watch for that bright red shooting straight out from my plants and trying to spray the soapy water on ’em.  Or the hours of hunching over my plants, injecting the stems with Bt, only to find I missed a stem or I’d find the stem near the dirt infested.

If the squash plants were smaller, I could put a top over them and either pollinate them myself or let the ants do it.  But, being a vine, they can get quite long and ungainly.

It ain’t worth it.  I may try my white scallop squash later in the year, but not now.

    And…back.

    Good winter morning, Hamsters,

Winter is back again, a whole 38 at 6am that has pulled itself up to 50 at noon.  Not quite as windy as  yesterday but still strong enough to pull dead branches off trees.  We had a large dead branch crash down on the front yard that had been hanging high up in a tree for well over a year.  It was much too far up to reach from the ground, and it was on the watch list for tree trimming by folks who know what they are doing.  They check our trees twice a year for health and condition.

We also have our heating and AC units checked in spring and fall to make sure they are performing as they should since our seasons are known to horn in on each other’s territory as recently done.

Somehow I got caught up in watching police interrogation videos of a couple who had starved their ten month old daughter to death.

It was obvious the wife was a victim of domestic abuse.  She showed all sorts of  signs of battered wife syndrome.  The husband was a big, big dude, and I’ll bet it was him who punched all of those holes in their walls.  There was a wife-torso sized indentation on a wall in their kitchen.  The drywall wasn’t just indented, it was broken in the form of a sideways silhouette of the wife’s body.  Despite them both admitting that when their daughter died, they spent some time on the couch together, then the husband called his dad for legal advice, and then “cleaning up” before calling the police, the house was pretty much a biohazard site.  I’ll bet the wife was too tired after working all day to deal with her house husband and then clean up.

If I had to make a guess, the husband demanded all of her time instead of letting her wash dishes or sweep the floor.  Because he was tired and couldn’t handle the baby crying any more.  He was supposed to be feeding her, but the police reported the daughter to be “skin and bones” when they finally arrived at the house.  “I could see the outline of her intestines through her stomach,” one officer said.  They said the coroner had never seen a case of malnourishment this bad.  Yeah, the husband was probably just throwing the baby food in the sink to punish his daughter for crying for attention, then throwing the jars away.   The baby weighed almost the same at ten months as she did at birth.

I almost cried.  That poor baby.  Being left to starve on a urine soaked mattress, because her parents couldn’t take the time to change her diaper.

The on screen captions when the husband was getting interrogated were pointing out signs of anti-social personality disorder – a sociopath.  He showed zero remorse and zero reaction to his daughter dying, except as to how being brought in for questioning was making it a hard day for him.  His wife was agreeing with her husband’s fear and disrespect for authority, including hospitals, doctors, and CPS.  She bowed to his demands on how to (not) care for their daughter.  I’m sure that some of those punch holes were the result of her wanting to take the baby for medical care.

Even though the wife was emotionally battered, she was arrested for felony murder along with her husband.  He was also charged with child neglect, child endangerment, and injury to a child.  They both got life without parole.

I’m assuming their other two children were passed on to relatives who would actually care for them.  But my heart breaks for that little girl.

PS:  When the parents were told what the charges and punishments were going to be, the father’s jaw dropped in a “I can’t believe this, you must be wissing crazy” expression, while the wife began weeping and showing remorse and recognition that her life was basically over.  The husband was a sociopath to the end, unbelieving his role in killing his kid.

This entire nonsense started by Kari Lake really needs to stop.

Not wanting to be left out of the DeSantis Derangement Syndrome (DDS) asylum, a few people on the right have also started bashing DeSantis with baseless lies, lies, and more lies. The latest desperate bid to undermine him is that billionaire busybody George Soros “endorsed” Governor DeSantis.

When I first saw this, I rolled my eyes at how transparently desperate the Democrats had become given that DeSantis suspended a Soros-backed State Attorney for refusing to enforce bans on child genital mutilation and abortion restrictions, a move that was later upheld by a federal judge. But this utter nonsense and completely #FakeNews didn’t come from Democrats.

    and,

Soros is saying the same thing that many right-leaning analysts, pundits, and LI commenters have been saying/speculating about for months: If Trump loses the GOP nomination to DeSantis (or any other Republican), will he collect all his toys and stomp off to run third party thereby ensuring if not a Democrat landslide, a Democrat win? It’s not inconceivable.

The shameless and false claim that this is an “endorsement” of DeSantis by Soros, who is clearly hoping for a “Democratic landslide” as a result of the already-bitter and decidedly premature GOP civil war (before DeSantis has even said whether or not he is running), has garnered a lot of attention.

And, as always, people have thoughts.

DeSantis flew to Arizona and appeared at her rallies during her campaign and this is what she does to him.

Israel announces founding of ZPEC (Zionist Petroleum Exporting Countries) in another move to take over the world.

Israel has exported crude oil material for the first time, with a shipment headed to Europe from the country’s offshore Karish gas field, according to an announcement Tuesday by Greek gas company Energean. The London- and Tel Aviv-listed firm is in charge of production at the Karish and Tanin natural gas fields in Israel’s economic waters in the Mediterranean.

In a statement Tuesday, Energean said “the first ever lifting of an Israeli crude oil cargo has taken place at the company’s Karish field,” and a cargo ship of hydrocarbon gas liquids (HGLs) extracted from natural gas (and then used in a mixture to make crude oil) was exported to global markets “for the first time in the history of Israeli oil and gas production.”

“This creates a significant differentiated income stream, fundamentally separate to gas-derived revenues,” Energean said, welcoming Israel into the “club of international oil exporters.” The cargo was “sold as part of a multi-cargo marketing agreement with Vitol; the first of a new source of East Med energy to reach Europe,” it added. (…)

Putin will see to it Israel gets payback for this.  They have been walking on eggshells around Russia for a long time.  I have always believed the Russians have been feeding Israel selective intel on Iran for years and that is one reason the Israelis have avoided angering them.  Something changed in the relationship because Israel announced the other day they would ship Iron Dome units to Ukraine and that really surprised me.

“Last year there was an enormous, well-coordinated backlash against this topic which just changed the sentiment,” Aniket Shah, global head of ESG strategy at Jefferies Financial Group Inc., said in an interview. “The sentiment came all the way down to financial advisers and individuals deciding where to put their investments.”

The ESG industry in the US faced a reckoning last year, when sustainable mutual funds and ETFs took in a net $3 billion of client money compared with $70 billion in 2021 — a 96% plunge, according to data from Morningstar Inc.

The political blowback in the US came on top of the worst year for investing in stocks and bonds since the 2008 financial crisis. ESG funds, especially those linked to indexes, were often heavily invested in technology and growth stocks and many had limited exposure to the energy sector, the best-performing part of the S&P 500 index in 2022.

The anti-ESG sentiment wasn’t global, and ESG investments performed better outside the US last year.

Scientists are scrambling to explain why the continent of Antarctica has shown Net Zero warming for the last seven decades and almost certainly much longer. The lack of warming over a significant portion of the Earth undermines the unproven hypothesis that the carbon dioxide humans add to the atmosphere is the main determinant of global climate.

Under ‘settled’ science requirements, the significant debate over the inconvenient Antarctica data is of necessity being conducted well away from prying eyes in the mainstream media. Promoting the Net Zero political agenda, the Guardian recently topped up readers’ alarm levels with the notion that “unimaginable amounts of water will flow into oceans”, if temperatures in the region rise and ice buffers vanish. The BBC green activist-in-chief Justin Rowlatt flew over parts of the region and witnessed “an epic vision of shattered ice”. He described Antarctica as the “frontline of climate change”. In 2021, the South Pole had its coldest six-month winter since records began in 1957, a fact largely ignored in the mainstream. One-off bad weather promoter Reuters subsequently ‘fact checked’ commentary on the event in social media. It noted that a “six-month period is not long enough to validate a climate trend”.

Reported from the Institute for Justice newsletter:

This Lexington, Ky. comedy of errors involves a garden shed aflame; a fire investigator’s request to access a neighbor’s surveillance footage; the neighbor’s refusal; a sketchy warrant affidavit for the footage; issuance of the warrant; police executing the warrant on the neighbor’s house; the neighbor’s mom burrowing through a ceiling to (the gov’t claims) extract 5 kilos of cocaine; a toilet clogged with a mysterious white substance; and two-thirds of a Sixth Circuit panel holding that all of it violated the Fourth Amendment because there had been no probable cause to suspect arson in the first place. (NB to snoots: Forgive the rampant fused participles above. Some of your correspondents just love to watch the world burn.)

Just to prove reality is far, far stranger than the imagination of any Hollywood scriptwriter.  Also, the defense attorney arguing this case must be one helluva lawyer.

#32 – Thanks for releasing the post.  Still looking for audio. This kind of made a mess out of SWA schedule, especially for a Friday afternoon which is always crazy busy with the mix of business travelers, weekend get away travelers, and so forth all converging on Friday afternoons.

And in en banc news, the Second Circuit will reconsider its decision that former high school athletes do not have standing to challenge the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference’s policy of allowing transgender students to compete in women’s track and field.

One more from the IJ newsletter:

Allegation: Unruly inmate at Oklahoma County, Okla. jail is escorted to a cell, where a 320 lb. officer kneels on his back to uncuff him. Afterwards, he lies unmoving for nearly six hours before a nurse finds him unresponsive. Jesus wept! He’s dead of a severed spinal cord. Officers: Okay, but what if that’s not what happened? Tenth Circuit (unpublished): Then we can’t hear your appeal. Fact disputes belong in front of a jury. No qualified immunity.

Whatever you do, please stay out of any jails.  If the inmates don’t kill you, the guards will.

Where’s Dan Hatrick ?  I guess the office of Lieutenant Governor has lost all its historical vaunted power or maybe Dan just doesn’t have the guts to get the job done and stand up up to Phelan.  Traditionally, the most powerful office in Texas has been the one he sits in.

Does Dade Phelan have secret scandalous photo dossiers on Abbott, Dan, Charlie Geren, Bryan Slaton and others ?

The Spectator is reporting (behind paywall) that this will be the first Presidential race in a long time without a Texan.

”Since 1976, every competitive presidential primary on the Republican side has had one thing in common: at least one candidate has hailed from Texas.”

That the Lt. Governor is the most powerful pol in the state has not been true for a long time.

Republican House members with a majority have happily and proudly shared power with Dems for decades.

    It’s just a fact.

Well the motley old NASA gang made the Seabrook Classic Cafe today. Oddly enough, 6 were coming besides me but 2 of my closest co-workers got caught up in a meeting that went past lunch by 45 minutes and couldn’t make it but Wintrick who I’ve not seen in a while just happened by so we officially had a quorum or so we decided.   😀

I sure did enjoy seeing the gang together again. Oh and I dispensed Bambi Sausage all around since they all love it so much but now I have one leftover.

    Really ?!

Republican House members with a majority have happily and proudly shared power with Dems for decades.

I lived in Texas for five decades while the Lt. Governors ran the state and then suddenly belated Republican Lt. Governors have been castrated since Bob Bullock owned and ran the legislature like a Hoss for ten damned years.  Nobody sneezed in Austin without asking Bob first.

Somehow you assume I am unaware of the fact committee committees chairs have been traditionally shared between the two parties in the Texas House.  Have any more insulting assertions ?  Just wonderin’.
