About getting to bedtime out here. I’ve still got the game on the Echo, but I’m going to watch something on TV to wind me down. If I don’t make it back tonight, I’ll try to be here in the morning. Nite nite all.
Big, nasty story out tomorrow on Matthew Schlapp, head of the American Conservative Union and C-PAC over fondling a Hershel Walker campaign aide. Schlapp’s wife was a Trump aide in the White House. Looks very credible.
Media will try to use this to cover up Biden classified docs story.
It’s not looking good for TCU, the Dawgs are really good this year. I was hoping that maybe TCU could pull it off but if they do something will have to change. The network showed the last time Georgia and TCU played in a bowl game and it was the Orange Bowl 1942. Georgia won 40 – 26.
FWIW, if you are looking for a radio stream, I’m getting it on WBAP on the internet. Just tell Alexa to play WBAP 820 AM.
These new biffocals are giving me fits. I’ll figure it out sooner or later, but it’s certainly not what I’m used to. Don’t need to see to listen or to type though.
Well, I drank a couple cups of coffee and the game looks like it’s getting out of hand sort of early. I don’t like driving after dark, but I’m only a few blocks from home. Georgia is doing whatever they want, which is not unexpected but still somewhat disappointing. Oh well, I’d rather be back here and home waiting to… Read more »
It’s really sad when the commentators start discussing the architecture of the stadium because there’s nothing to talk about unless Georgia has the ball
We had a family of toads living under our house for a while. At first I thought the movement was a snake, but was relieved to know that the little burrow next to where I had to stand for my water hose was populated by toads instead.
Well, although I’ve never really tuned to ESPN unless it was a game on, but this is the first time I don’t have it. Dang I was all dolled up for the frogs!
I just saw Dana Loesch on Jesse Watter’s show and I didn’t recognize her. That country girl has gone Hollywood. I’ve always thought she was very pretty, but with the hairdo and fancy makeup job, she’s really stunning.
It looks like I get to do the insurance dance. They’re refusing to pay for my treatments. I had surgery on the 16th, and insurance changed on the 1st. We had to change as our provider was pulling out of this area.
My similar experience – I went to Optometrist at about 45 and when she ask me how old I was I told her. She sais well, you should have been here 5 years ago. Been using readers ever since – adding power every few years. Now up to +2.5, but the cataract replacement lenses have opened up the light, so… Read more »
I fought the contacts for a few years, perhaps ten, total. Hard ones. And then the soft ones were an exponential improvement, but still….
Again, working outdoors in windy and dusty conditions, dirty hands/fingers. etc. was all a contact lens nightmare. And the ten years I was a welder, they just weren’t an option.
My problem was that I started wearing contact lenses in my early 20’s… Got new ones shortly after my 40th birthday – and went back for follow up “Doc – these are weird… Everything over there is crystal clear, then I look at something up close and it’s blurry but clears up, then everything other there is blurry” He laughed… Read more »
Working outdoors in the sun….just the thought of having some damn lines in front of my eyeballs that might increase any kind of glare was an absolute NO WAY for me.
I started out with progressive tri-focals and never had a problem.
At one point along the way, I thought I had a problem with them, but we discovered that I had, out-of-the blue, developed a little astigmatism. That was easily corrected with the next set of lenses.
Thanks for the advice on learning to use the bi’s. Our good friend and aviation consultant Juan Browne at blancolirio takes a little spin around the area where it has been raining quite a bit, following a terrible drought that almost emptied Lake Oroville. I enjoyed the photography and also the absence of commentary. Enjoy if you like – some… Read more »
65 to 7???? Really??????
‘Curb Stomping’ would be a gross UNDERSTATEMENT…………..
Trump can’t beat ‘em, so he joins them?
Who could be a bigger enemy than Mitt Romney’s niece?

Holy crap!
This is not even entertaining.

Oh well, TCU had one hell of a year.
Thanks for the radio link, Katfish.
17-7 after one.
And they never pressured him once.
I blew it off.
This three hour NCIS is much more entertaining.
#86 – earlier WBAP still had Mark Levin on…………
I really DO hate to say – as ole Don Meredith said:

This is ugly.

Toads better figure out where they left their horns – and most tout de suite.
Just get some of Snakeoil the Medicine Man’s remedy.
Prune Bran! Nature’s little roto-rooter!.
Me thinks I am gonna go find Dr Ho’s Miracle Colon Cleanse infomercial and watch it.
GO WITH DR HO
24 – 7 already, oh well.
Why am I watching this football game?
Maybe it’s just me; but, this is one of the most boring football games I’ve ever watched.
We had a family of toads living under our house for a while. At first I thought the movement was a snake, but was relieved to know that the little burrow next to where I had to stand for my water hose was populated by toads instead.
Well it’s 16 – 7 Georgia in 1st quarter already, I’ll just keep up with the score. Not paying for a blowout.
TCU better get some defense fast. This isn’t working well.
ROLL FROGS!!
I am really fighting the urge to twist and pop my back. This feeling that everything needs to be resettled is annoying.
Still weeks away from being able to do that.
Lets see I could live stream the TV on my iphone to facebook with really poor sound
OH WAIT you don’t do facebook either. Never mind
Shannon – I found the radio feed
https://tunein.com/radio/CFP-Championship-TCU-Horned-Frogs-at-Georgia-Bulldogs-Jan-9-2023-p3087779/
Well, although I’ve never really tuned to ESPN unless it was a game on, but this is the first time I don’t have it. Dang I was all dolled up for the frogs!
Sometimes you can get live ESPN through this site:
https://www.espnplayer.com/home
The CATCH is you need a VPN and have it set for somewhere anywhere in Europe. It is a pay site BUT they sometimes drop the paywall.
Shannon do you have VPN
Gooooooooooooooooooooooooo HornedFrogs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just saw Dana Loesch on Jesse Watter’s show and I didn’t recognize her. That country girl has gone Hollywood. I’ve always thought she was very pretty, but with the hairdo and fancy makeup job, she’s really stunning.
I don’t get ESPN.
never have, never will
The game is on ESPN
It still wisses me off.
What a pain. I ain’t signing up for fuboTv, even with the free trial. The game simply isn’t that important to me.
I’m going to the bar with a couple of friends even though I don’t drink. I’ll be the one having coffee.
Well, this is a first.
No broadcast network is carrying the college national championship game.
yeah, yeah, it’s on fubo

I was afraid of this.
#59 – He musta been related to my eye doc LOLOL
Because that is something that happens to 40 year old eyeballs – it’s called a focusing mechanism disorder and it usually kicks in right about 40…”
I had an eye doctor call it “42-18 syndrome”. Turn 42 and start holding everything 18 inches away.

My downfall was 18 hour shifts on the ambulance – my eyeballs didn’t like having the contacts in that long.

Danger, Will Robinson.
The Texas Legislature convenes tomorrow.
