Hamous I still think of you often. I’m glad I was between chemo treatments so that I could attend your funeral. Though we never met in person I feel like I got to know you fairly well via this platform. RIP
Rest In Peace Hamous.
and a big thanks to you for starting and hosting this blog after lst folded and allowing me and others to state our views about almost anything whether you agreed with us or not.

Time flies.
some are sent home earlier than we’d like, but it’s not up to us when that time might be.

Just so you know, we have the regular Weekend Open Comments going also.
We’ve just arrived home from a lovely (as always) lunch at BJ’s in Sugar Land, bringing most of my main course home as usual. That’s because their salads are wonderful to dine on first and would not travel home and sit overnight in the fridge as well as the main course does. Anyway, while there I have to leave… Read more »
I also miss Goat and especially J-Nine Bounds (Southern Tragedy) I would have texted her yesterday to let her know Summer Sausage was on the way. 🙁
Good Morning Hamsters, Our Sunday Remembrance of friends departed is uplifting. Though unseen now, we know they are here in spirit, and that brings some comfort when the real world gets bumpy, as it will from time to time. They knew how to manage the bumps life brings through experiences great and small and kindly shared their wisdom with us. … Read more »
Forgot about the heart attack. Dang. Here’s to 2023!
I have a heart attack on Christmas Eve, 2 weeks later GJT is laid off, Mark dies the next day and then GJT’s sister-in-law is murdered a week later. We should’ve known 2022 was going to be a very rough year.
January 7th. The day after I got laid off, eight days later my wife’s sister was murdered. That was just January…
Man, as fast as time screams by, ‘22 was the longest year I’ve ever lived.
He knew it.
I know it.
And you know, too.
That damn album is a frikkin masterpiece.

Getting oniony in here.
Mark was obviously one of the really great guys; he did his job (assigned by ELOHIM) well and got to go home early.
I couldn’t remember if it was early ‘22 or late ‘21. We loved him and miss him tremendously. RIP Mark.

The last time I saw him was about a month before he passed on, between masses. I miss GTOTracker as well. I had the pleasure of meeting him in… Read more »
I’d only been around Hamous a handful of times in person, but online interaction with him was nearly daily. He was one of those guys I could disagree with yet still remain congenial in our interactions. Always felt like he was extended family. I still miss him too. Prayers.
I do miss Mark and it’s hard to believe that it’s been a year now. R.I.P Mark
