    A truly great headline…

MAUREEN CALLAHAN: Evil global news media! Here are the reasons why you MUST stop hounding ‘Woko Ono’ Meghan and poor traumatised Harry – and just let them get on with their low profile work for Netflix, Spotify and a global publishing giant!

Well the dang dog got me up about 1 AM and after getting her situated I couldn’t go back to sleep so I tossed and turned until about 3 and finally went back to sleep so I woke up about 5:30, late for me. But I got the coffee pot going and I’m ready to get going, not sure what I’ll be doing today but the weather is going to be great. We hit 82 yesterday and it’ll be about the same today. BTW; I’ve had the A/C on a few times this week.

Spotted over yonder; Enjoy the little things because one day,….

That is so true and it got my attention, I remember one of the first few times I took my boy deer hunting. He was 11 and we were sitting on a couple of folding stools, leaving back against a huge native shortleaf pine, all bundled up because it was cold. After an hour or so my boy came over and climbed up in my lap so I leaned the 30 30 against the tree and held him until the sun was up. I thought then that if we saw anything there would be no way I could get to the rifle and get it into position in time but it didn’t matter, we were making memories. Dang, is someone cutting onions in here? 😉

Matt Tye and Winston Sterzel were once the first YouTubers in China, according to their podcast description, and now they expose the CCP on The China Show. YouTube age-restricted both their podcast and another show, China Uncensored, which were covering the mass anti-CCP protests in China, as MRC’s CensorTrack recorded. The China Show was also demonetized.

“When YouTube age-restricts a video, it kills it,” Sterzel said on their Dec. 2 show. He explained that YouTube’s age restriction not only prevents people under a certain age from viewing a video, but it prevents anyone who is not logged into an account from viewing the video. Many people view YouTube videos without being logged in. Sterzel said a restricted video cannot be embedded or preview play. “It doesn’t get shared out, and YouTube doesn’t promote it,” he said. “It completely destroys it.”

The Chicoms have fake bots flagging YouTube videos that expose the ruthless crackdowns on protestors.  YouTube automatically restrict without review the “offending” videos.  They could remove the restrictions because they know what’s going on, but they drag their feet for days before they do so to appease the CCP.

    A brief history of lentils…

Jews have a long history with lentils: Lentils are mentioned in the Hebrew Bible, when Jacob talked Esau into selling his birthright for a mess of pottage. And that history continues millennia later: A similar dish of cooked lentils and rice topped with caramelized onions called mujadara or mejedra is still prepared by Jews and Arabs today.

Lentils are one of the earliest foods to be cultivated by man. Evidence of domesticated lentils dating back to the Stone Age have been found on the banks of the Euphrates in what is present-day Syria. The ancient Egyptians also enjoyed lentils and were convinced that they enlightened children’s minds, opened their hearts, and made them more cheerful. The Greeks agreed, claiming lentils softened the temper and disposed the mind to study. The playwright and poet Aristophanes referred to lentils as “the sweetest of delicacies.” The Greeks also used lentils medicinally: Hippocrates prescribed lentils for liver ailments and for ulcers.

I like lentils.  I think I’ll make some lentil soup this week.

My schedule today is being scrambled.  Today is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, which is a holy day of obligation in my faith.  I was going to mass at 7:00 pm, but Hubby said his car club is wrapping presents and stuffing stockings for kids tonight.  We had a good car show this year, so I’m assuming we’ll have lots of presents to hand out.  I think we’re doing stockings for an entire school.

So I’ll be attending the midday mass instead.  Somewhere I need to get my exercise time in and I *have* to get some certified mail sent.

And more party prep.  I have a final shopping list now.

    But first….

    STUCK LIKE GLUE ☙ Thursday, December 8, 2022 ☙ C&C NEWS

Good morning, and Happy Thursday, C&C! Today’s roundup includes: American dollmaker teaches girls how to ask for puberty blockers; Project Veritas exposes sodomite groomers at Chicago private school; Russian bans gender affirming and pedophilic media; pro-jabber Rod Stewart experiences coincidences; Republican Senators want answers about Project Veritas exposé on HHS involvement in child trafficking; a good insurrection in Peru; a bad J6-style insurrection in Germany; and climate activists misstep.

I saw a PV link yesterday, but didn’t have the time to click on it.  I guess PV has released yet one more truth telling video.  I’m sure Childers has the link and I’ll include it in today’s report.

  12. Tedtam Avatar

I found this amusing:   My 12-year old son, Luke, prepared a “Year of C&C” video and asked me to give you a link. He’s a chip off the old C&C block.

    heh heh heh

Someone’s going to have to carry the water when “that day” comes.   Onward!

The amazing team at Project Veritas… is doing some really terrific work lately. Warning: this one includes some adult subject matter.

Yesterday, PV’s investigative team, recently restored to on Twitter, posted an undercover-camera exposé with the dean of students at Francis W. Parker School in Chicago. In the video, the effeminate dean can be clearly heard bragging about grooming kids at the elite private school, educating them on what he proudly calls “queer sex” techniques.

I’m not recommending watching the linked video. I only include it to show the receipts. Take my word for it that it’s fair to conclude the dean is an out-of-control, full-on pervert.

Even if you’re an adult perv, just leave the kids alone.   Leave. The. Kids. Alone.

Here’s a link to the PV video (WARNING: ADULT TOPIC) https://video.twimg.com/ext_tw_video/1600656269232279558/pu/vid/480×270/Ds1fc1KZX2hRfKb-.mp4?tag=12

I point out that Project Veritas has been reinstated on Twitter.  Good for them/Elon/us.

Tuition at the Francis W. Parker school runs up to $40K a year. I’d love to predict that Dean Bruno won’t finish out the week after parents get a look at this, but, well, it’s Chicago. So who knows. It wouldn’t fly in Florida, though.

The Francis W. Parker school raced to delete its Twitter account, but sent parents a statement supporting Dean Bruno and his degenerate lesson plans and props.

The PARENTS supported this perversion?!  This is why we can’t have nice things.  Like safe schools.  Because the woke disease has pervaded so much of the population, more interested in virtue signaling than in their kids’ mental health.  The school administration has rallied around this degenerate, calling the PV reporters “an aggressive right wing fringe group”.

When you can’t defend the message, destroy the messenger.

But in Russia, that “teacher” would be…less happy, let’s put it that way:

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on Monday expanding Russia’s 2013 law forbidding the promotion of “LGBT propaganda” to minors. The revised Russian law now also prohibits publishing material about gender transitions or information promoting pedophilia. Violators can be fined up to $64,000 (4 million Rubles), or if they are non-residents, deported.

Buh bye. At least it’s not as bad as the punishment for smuggling drugs into the country. I’m beginning to think the proxy war might be less about protecting the Deep State’s crack house (Ukraine) and more about the culture war, but I haven’t fully developed that theory yet.

It’s weird to think I’m applauding Putin for anything, but there ya’ go.  Destroying the family unit – the basis of any society – is harmful for that society in so many ways.  That’s why communists go for the family unit as one of their first steps in taking over any country.

And Childers makes this interesting observation:

The sparse reporting on this story is really weird, because you’d think corporate media would have itself a field day demonizing Putin as transphobic or something. They could be running whole series of articles about discrimination in Russia, and even making songs about it. That kind of thing would get anyone in the U.S. immediately canceled. But they’ve left all that on the cutting-room floor.

I could speculate, but for sure SOMETHING is going on with this issue. My working hypothesis is that corporate media is terrified of the story, for some reason.

A hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, says it has paused its services for transgender patients as the American Civil Liberties Union threatens to bring suit against a move the organization believes is illegal and discriminatory.

Memphis-based Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare halted some of its treatment of transgender patients due to a number of care providers ‘voic(ing) questions about patients receiving gender-affirming procedures at a facility affiliated with our health system,’ said a spokesperson for MLH.

‘This resulted in a temporary pause to review current practices.’

The Tennessee branch of the ACLU previously accused MLH of stopping all transgender surgeries due to a newly adopted policy. The legal organization also threatened to file a complaint with the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office for Civil Rights (OCR) if it did not put some of its patients’ surgeries back on the books before year’s end.

Some of these people who underwent these mutilating surgeries have filed or given notice they will lawsuits against the doctors and hospitals who manipulated them into it.

If I were legal counsel for this hospital, I would tell them to be much more afraid of future damage judgments from former trans victims than the ACLU.  The HHS will no doubt pressure the hospital because without their approval the facility can receive no Medicare or Medicaid funds.  It would mean bankruptcy.  It’s going to be interesting to see how this plays out and it may end up at SCOTUS.

On to the shocking story of Rod Stewart’s 11 year old having a heart attack:

Singer Rod Stewart is a big fan of the jabs. He likes to refer to vaccine-hesitant people as “killers.” He’s been pretty aggressive about it, once even threatening people who don’t want the shots: “It makes me angry, especially in America where they talk about ‘It’s my right, it’s my freedom’. No it’s not! Because you are a killer, and you can be killed.”

Sooooooooooooooo…I can assume his kid’s been jabbed.  At least twice, probably more.

For some baffling reason, doctors initially assumed the boy had a heart attack. But fortunately Aiden has made a full recovery, and the family is hoping it was just a panic attack or something.

I’ve never heard of anyone turning blue from a “panic attack”.  But then, if you’re vehemently pro-jab, you’ll say or do anything to protect what you are so invested in.

And finally, light being shed on the child trafficking by our government.  This is another PV expose.

Sad to say, my beloved Catholic Church is also involved in this process.  And only God knows how many other NGO’s, which are making money off of the government’s desire to import more votes.

Tuesday, Senator Ron Johnson, who just yesterday held a blockbuster covid hearing in the Senate, this week also demanded the Homeland Security Committee hold hearings on troubling allegations about HHS’s involvement with child trafficking. Johnson’s letter was also signed by Senators Rick Scott (Fl.) and Josh Hawley (Mo.).

The Senators’ interest arose from an under-reported November 29th exposé by Project Veritas, which interviewed a lady named Tara Lee Rodas, who used to work at HHS’ Emergency Intake Site in Pomona, California, where she helped process illegal immigrants. Rodas told Project Veritas reporters about some pretty dark things that she said were going on inside the U.S. government.

Project Veritas says it quietly investigated her claims for nine months. For example, they went to locations where Rodas says HHS “placed” up to fifty kids — in one house! Rodas says no placement studies are done and nobody asks questions. They just ship the kids at the speed of science.

According to Rodas, it’s well known inside HHS that kids are being delivered to traffickers, who enslave the children by holding their immigration status over their heads. HHS will deport kids who are reported as delinquent back to Mexico or wherever they came from.

Here’s a link to the Rodas video: https://twitter.com/Project_Veritas/status/1597666616619061249?s=20&t=3LY9roZa-G1CCqJOAa_HMw

Money quote:  A government employee explaining why kids are being released to the sex traffickers: “We don’t get sued by [child] traffickers.”

When she complained to her supervisors, Rodas said that someone at HHS replied, “I think you need to understand we only get sued if we keep kids in care too long. We don’t get sued by traffickers. Are you clear? We don’t get sued by traffickers.” Rodas has been reassigned out of immigration processing.

I think I’m going to be sick.

… why do democrats always get a pass for being so murderously incompetent? And why does politics always trump basic decency and humanity? In other words, why aren’t any DEMOCRATS also mad about this, and not just three Republican senators?

    Then, some climate idiot fun:

Meanwhile, a couple weeks ago, European ‘climate activists’ demonstrated the courage of their convictions by gluing themselves to a conductor’s railing at a Beethoven concerto in Hapsburg. The Project Veritas undercover asked this perverted dean if the parents approved and he ignored the question and responded with a shrug, “It’s queer sex.”   Does anybody think these kids went home and told their parents about this ?  I don’t.  None of them want to be the outcast tattletale in the school.  The unmentioned social pressure to keep it secret is very strong in those classrooms, no doubt.

Parents who can afford $40K a year tuition can also afford $800/hour lawyers.  This will be interesting.

I found this comment about the Dean

When Project Veritas asked Bruno if the parents complained about the seminar, he responded by saying- “no, it’s queer s*x.” He went on to brag about how the private school that charges $40,000 annually had enough money in their budget to teach children these lessons.

The reporters also asked him whether the institution’s trustees were okay with the seminar. Joseph Bruno claimed that they were unaware of it being conducted. He added- “I wouldn’t even like run it by them. Like, why would I run it by them?”

Poor reporting. That one line could be construed as the parents NOT COMPLAINING because it was queer sex. In the second paragraph it is clear the program was frowned upon. No wonder news reporting confuses us.

Former President Donald Trump posed for a photo with a prominent QAnon and Pizzagate conspiracy theorist at an event hosted at his Mar-a-Lago club on Tuesday.

    From Foreign Policy’s newsletter:

Germany arrests more coup plotters. German police are aiming to make further arrests after foiling a right-wing coup plot this week that aimed to install an aristocrat as the leader of the country.

Holger Münch, the head of Germany’s federal police office, said Thursday that the number of suspects involved is over 150—many of them COVID-19 deniers suspicious of the federal government in Berlin and members of the QAnon conspiracy cult—and the tally could still rise. The plot aimed to put Prince Heinrich XIII of Reuss in power. (The Twitterati have already dubbed Heinrich to be a character out of a Wes Anderson movie.)

Houston we have a problem. I was mulching the last of the leaves with my big zero turn mower and just about when I finished up the front yard she just stopped, blades would turn but nothing to the transmission. Since it has 2 separate tensioner belts left and right I figure that the belt to the tranny went south and it did sound a little bit like that. So I loaded it up on my 14′ ATV trailer and I’m taking to the Mower Shop. Oh BTW; did I tell you that damn thing is heavy?! Well it is, I used my old Red Mule to pull it to the side yard, went and got my trailer and used the Mule to drag it up on the trailer. I some how got it lined up and on in the first try. I pulled it up a slight incline and rolled it backwards onto the ramps. I always load it backward since that where the big wheels/tire are, the front has a couple of swivel coasters off a Kroger Grocery Cart. A little hint; ifin’ you do this with any motivation from the big 23 HP Kawasaki; fold the arms FWD or BWD to unlock the brakes, center is automatic braking, no foot brake. 😀 I bought this thing in July 2019 so I guess it’s been reliable enough and YES, GJT I’ve kept up with the maintenance. Last fall I had the regular blades replaced with mulching blades and while it was in the shop they gave it a 200 HR inspection and it passed with flying colors they said all the belts were fine.

Don’t mess with an old man.

A concealed carry holder shot two teenagers who were trying to rob him Monday morning in Austin, according to Chicago police. [Austin is a Chicago neighborhood]

The man, 56, was in his car in the 4700 block of West Arthington Avenue when three teens approached in another car just before 6 a.m., police said.

The incident unfolded around 6 a.m. in the city’s west side when a vehicle with “three males inside” approached the victim, who was inside his own vehicle, Chicago Police told Fox News Digital in a statement.

“One of the individuals got out of the vehicle, pointed a firearm at the victim and demanded his belongings,” police said.

    Damn, the bad luck.

The teen who was driving was struck in his head and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.

Another teen was located several blocks away with a gunshot wound to his shoulder. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said.

The third teen broke his leg in the crash and was transported to a hospital in fair condition, police said.

Some witness said the old man looked just like Robert Duvall.

You can go to this .gov page and see which 39 Republican House members voted for the gay marriage act that already passed in the Senate with 12 Republican traitors.

Under ALL VOTES, click on Republicans in the heading and Yea for votes to filter.

Tony Gonzales is the only Texas member to vote for it.

I was very disappointed in Brian Mast of Florida.  He was supposed to be a solid conservative and won his seat in a wipeout 63.5% to 36.5%, but he voted for this crap.

Elise Stefanik of upstate New York holds a powerful position as chair of the House Republican Conference which is supposed to be the caucus for all Republican policy making.  She is number three behind Speaker and Whip.  She voted for this crap too.

NEW YORK, NY — Researchers are reporting that disinformation on Twitter, Facebook, and mainstream news sources is already down by 92% in the wake of a 24-hour writer’s strike at the New York Times.

“We always wondered where all this harmful disinformation was coming from,” said Darryl Ball, a researcher with the Center for Combatting Bad Things Online. “Turns out, it was all coming from those knuckleheads at the Times. Who knew?”

Vanguard Quits ESG Before Republicans Take Over House

Vanguard Group Inc. is walking out of the world’s largest climate-finance alliance, marking the coalition’s biggest defection to date as US Republicans step up their threats against firms deemed hostile toward the fossil-fuel industry.

Vanguard’s decision followed a “considerable period of review,” according to a company statement Wednesday. Withdrawing from the Net Zero Asset Managers initiative, which is a sub-unit of the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero, “will help provide the clarity our investors desire” about everything from the role of index funds, to financial risks in the context of climate change, the firm said.

…Vanguard indicated its decision rested in a desire to maintain the freedom not to restrict its investment options.

    and these are key issues…

Closely held Vanguard did not make executives available for comment. But its statement addresses a criticism from some investors and U.S. Republican officials that efforts like NZAM go against antitrust rules. That concern that had already led NZAM’s U.N.-affiliated parent to soften a policy on fossil fuel financing.

    and secondly,

Under FERC rules, asset managers aren’t permitted to meddle in a utility’s operations. Vanguard is aware of this; that’s why the company promised FERC at its August 2019 authorization hearing it would be a passive investor in the utilities in which it holds shares. The commission granted authorization, and Vanguard’s investment has been anything but passive, actively pushing corporate managements to pursue net-zero targets and shutter coal and natural-gas electricity generation.

Vanguard was getting ready to have their a$$ handed back to them on a platter by the new House.  These are blatant violations of hard, black letter law.

This is a giant step forward, but my son-in-law warns the creeps will try to rename this and sell it as a new-fangled brilliant idea or possibly slip it piecemeal into legislation.

I attended midday mass, which was Low Mass.  I felt for Father, he’s been battling a persistent cough for weeks.  In a low mass, there’s no singing and the priest talks aloud more than in a high mass, where the choir sings Gregorian chant most of the time.

Poor dude was trying to get the prayers out between small hacks for an hour.  Man, that had to be frustrating.

BTW – he’s assured us it has nothing to do with the WLR.

Oh, and after completing lasagna ingredients shopping, I got a phone call from the surgeon’s office.  I’m to go under the knife on the 16th.  I have so much to do before then…

But Hubby’s love languages are gifts and service, so I think he’s going to be taking good care of me.  I also have a friend who’s not too local but has told me she’ll come by every day and change my bandages for me. And LD has promised me some days should  I feel the desire to separate her from her family.

But Christmas will be very different this year, that’s fer sher.

Nosing around here and and in spite of my best efforts to clean stuff out of this house that is left over, I found some Christmas decorations in one of the closets that I don’t use.  Some lady posted to the local forum that she was in need of some lights/decorations, etc. for her little boy, so I called and delivered the stuff to her – not much but one table top piece is pretty nice with a little tree and plug in lights that actually work.  She seemed happy to have anything, and I’m certainly happy to be rid of it.

I found an old kerosene lamp that has been painted and decorated up, so I’m working to salvage it.  It’s a glass base with a chimney and a brass wick control.  I put varnish remover on it and am getting most of the paint off, but it’s still smeared and the like.  I guess eventually I’ll soak it in hot water and soap and hope that it will clean up.  Thing must be a hundred years old – but like most items, it will cost more to try to restore it than it would to just buy new, but I don’t think they actually make the real deal any more.  This one looks like those lamps on all the old western movies, but it might be useful next time we have a harrycaine out here in SS.  I did remember to use rubber gloves before getting into the paint and varnish remover this time, but I’ve still got a couple of hot spots on one arm.

I need a tunnel rat to go up into my attic and drop some wires for me one of these days.  Anyone one of you who is interested is welcome to stop by after next Wednesday.  BTW, the builders put a plywood floor in the attic that covers a large portion of it, presumably to allow for storage when the house was built. More later.

    The human depravity.

We are so shocked by this young man murdering a little girl in Texas with his bare hands, for no reason, no reason at all.

And then we have the spectacle of a celebrity athlete being traded for a macabre, murderous freak on a runway in a country responsible for worldwide terror while an infamous, disgusting Mexican cartel madman has suddenly vanished from a US federal prison.

    You tell me…

Went to the graduation of my nephew from the Houston Fireman’s Academy, he is now a Fireman. My brother, his dad, is a HFD Fireman and put the badge on him at the ceremony. Proud of him, nephew is not real agile or athletic, and they put  them through an almost boot camp drill in the Academy, but he made it.

    Good Evening Hamsters,

We’re very much looking forward to that cold front’s arrival.  Ugh, this is too warm for early December and does not put one in the mood for the holidays and decorating for same.

I keep finding more decorations hidden away under beds and in closets I rarely go into.  The smartest thing to do is get all seasonal decorations in one place, specifically the former tack closet in the laundry room that currently has lots of empty but very good quality cardboard boxes stored there.  The local women’s center resale store nearby raises money from the sales of donated items to fund charitable works.  The items they display are all in good condition and priced very reasonably.   It is not junk.

With the current fiscal situation, I presume it is quite busy, and the call has gone out in the local paper for donation of boxes.  We have lots of good cardboard boxes in all sizes from things we’ve ordered over the past couple of years and could not throw them out because they are in such good condition.  Well, we’ve found a home for them.  I’ll try to get them organized tomorrow and delivered on Saturday.

When we built our house out in the country 42 years ago, we used a plan similar to our first house in Houston.  It is a bit larger and has some rooms rearranged, and it has 3 walk-in closets as well as plenty of storage space in cupboards in the kitchen and bathrooms and a built-in chest of drawers in the master bedroom closet. (Now for anyone who is horrified by the use of the term “master”, tough darts.)  Problem is if’n you have the space, it will over time fill up. 🙂

I learned from my mother at a fairly young age something confirmed by Her Highness in my old age and that is this axiom:

    Texpat’s Law

No matter how many closets, attics, storage spaces and barns you have, the stuff you own will expand to fill it.  It doesn’t matter if you build bigger and bigger houses.  It is an irrefutable law of physics.

If I get up enough nerve to do it, maybe I’ll take a photo looking in through the hall door into what started out to be my craft room 27 years ago. Yep, it started out with floor-to-ceiling shelves on the 2 main walls, and was so wonderfully organized. I’m not sure how to explain what it morphed into. I haven’t worked on a craft project in 5 or 6 years, although I did eventually realize that it was silly to buy any more craft materials, no matter how interesting something looked in the store.

Current status is I can’t do any craft work, because I can’t get far enough inside to look for anything.
