It Ain’t Real Wednesday Open Comments

Do you like my picture?  Thanks.  It ain’t real.  I combined two separate pictures of mine to create the illusion you see above.

This missive is being penned on Tuesday so I do not know the results of the elections.  It is my sincere desire that your particular choice of politicians vanquishes his/her opponent and the liberal judges are kicked off the bench.  With the exception of the judges I do not think a RED TSUNAMI is going to make any difference for at least two years, if at all.  We still have to contend with BidenCo or his replacement for the next two years.  Yes yes iI know all about veto “proof majority”.  I’ll skip why I believe that is an illusion too.  But here we are a brand new day with more to be revealed later.

Government

Government is like a condom in that it allows for inflation, halts production, destroys subsequent generations, protects a bunch of pricks, and provides its constituents with a false sense of security while they are being screwed.

Good morning fellow couch dwellers.  If we needed any proof that there is some chicanery going on, I submit that the lump and it’s vegetable Fetterman beating Dr. Oz is exhibit #1.

#2 would be Wretched Whitmer winning.

Doncha’ miss being able to get on the Wednesday after the election and know exactly who won and lost? All the important Senate races are still out but Fetterman wins in Pennsylvania?! Who is voting for that pathetic clown? He had NO RESUME BEFORE the stroke. Thankfully JD Vance beat that slimy little Clinton Wanna Be, Ryan in Ohio. Murkowski is behind in Alaska but if they have a rematch in their convoluted voting system she”ll win. Sadly that midget Astronaut won in Arizona, what is wrong with those people? With the economy in a tailspin, the border wide open and a doddering old fool in the White House and we can’t decisively take the Senate, I don’t think that there is any hope for our republic. Oh well.

Do y’all remember that slimy Democrat operative, Robert Zimmerman that ran interference for the Clinton’s? He used to be on TV a lot but I’ve not seen him in a while but this morning, on Fox they reported that someone named George Santos defeated in in New York’s CD 3.  Didn’t he (Zimmerman)have some thing to do with Telemundo? FWIW; I bet Texpat up in the frozen north knows about this race since CD 3 is on Long Island.

Morning gang.  Looks like the sun will be coming up today as usual.  Dems were able to steal another election cycle with the Reps sitting right there watching them.  Just like Lucy holding the football for Charlie Brown to kick.  Frankly, for how long now have we been faced with voting for the lesser of 2 evils when making a selection to begin with.  A non-appealing Rep candidate just does not generate any enthusiasm among the voters.  I decided with the McCain Presidential election cycle that I would no longer vote for some rotten Rep simply because the Dem was worse, and I’m continuing to do the same.  Cornholio comes to mind for instance.  I may not be the only one who feels that way.  I once asked my Senatorial candidates who they would vote for for Leader; congressional candidates if they would vote for Paul Ryan for Speaker, etc.  If no change, time to walk away.

So once again, the Rep influencers and candidates under performed at the polls and in the courts.  To defeat the Dems they know we have to win by more than the margin of fraud, and we sit right there and watch while they manufacture votes and send vicious lawyers to the courts to deal with judges that they have bought and paid for just for occasions like this.  I’ll say this about the Harris Co election administrator – they got a good one this time.  He even sounds convincing at times, even while he’s explaining the fraud away.

Oh well, have a great day you all.  More later as it develops.

It’s hard to measure on the morning after, but Donald Trump lost a lot of influence and his reputation as kingmaker has taken a big hit.

Her Highness asked me last week why DeSantis wasn’t out campaigning for Republicans in other states.  He’s even smarter than I thought he was and apparently had intel the “red wave” wasn’t going to materialize, that many of these Republican candidates weren’t as popular as everyone thought.  It was a very shrewd move to stay home and let Trump take the blame.

” It’s also impossible to separate the national GOP political apparatus from former President Donald Trump, who, before the election, circulated a memo hyping up the number of rallies, candidate endorsements, fundraising numbers, and primary wins for which he claimed responsibility.

For Trump, his biggest win on Election Day was arguably J.D. Vance’s victory in Ohio. But losses for his candidates, including Oz, Walker, Bolduc, and numerous others, call into question his role in picking candidates and getting them across the primary finish line — something he’s bragged about endlessly.

After all, the rest of the GOP machinery ended up pouring money and time into the races where Trump-endorsed primary candidates advanced to the general, but that’s all downstream from Trump (and in some cases, Democrats who backed the same candidates in a now proven theory that those candidates would be easier to beat). “

On the NY-3 congressional race, it was first time both opposing candidates were openly gay men.  I don’t keep up much with Long Island, but find it interesting George Santos ran as the candidate of the Conservative Party rather than as a Republican.  I started hearing Santos had pulled ahead of Zimmerman weeks ago.  Long Island is much more ideologically conservative than any of the 5 boroughs of NYC.

Let’s see if Childers’ sarcastic optimism can cheer me up…Coffee and Covid today :

It now looks like the “red wave” story that the media has been crying about for the last couple weeks was in fact just a pre-election narrative, to transform a tidy, workmanlike victory for conservatives as “really” a victory for Biden, because he prevented the red wave or something.

…The Senate is still up for grabs, but the House looks pretty much flipped, so the Biden regime will be dramatically slowed, with serious implications for the proxy war, as I’ll discuss further on.

Keep in mind: retaining the Senate is CRITICAL for democrats, to stop Republicans from impeaching Biden. So.

    That last point.

    That. Last. Point.

  20. Tedtam Avatar

Let’s begin with the disappointments. As I write this:

Pennsylvania democrats elected the first mentally-disabled stroke victim in history to the United States Senate yesterday, confirming that all it takes for democrats is a hoodie and a pulse. Maybe just a hoodie. The good news is, for the next six years, John Fetterman will be a walking billboard for vaccine injury, since less than a year ago he could talk right.

    /snip

Amid widespread voting machine problems in Arizona — we’ll be talking a lot more about this one, I bet — Kari Lake has temporarily slipped below the threshold for a recount against current secretary of state and election-controller Katie Hobbs. Similarly, Mark Kelly is currently edging Republican Blake Masters for Arizona Senate.

But hang in there. There are still a lot of uncounted ballots in Arizona. As of an hour ago, 1.7M Arizona ballots had been counted, leaving about 900K left to count. Some folks are optimistically speculating that Kari still has a good chance:

How in the world did THESE two things happen?  Fetterman is the Senate version of Biden, being a meat puppet that will be handled from behind the scenes.  Neither of them have the cognition skills to process their jobs on their own.  I would feel sad for them except for the fact that they started out wanting to be evil.  The fact that they are manipulated by evil hands (that they chose) doesn’t change the fact that neither of Biden/Fetterman are competent.

  21. Tedtam Avatar

    This is sad:

California, Michigan, and Vermont all passed the broadest abortion laws in the country — as state constitutional amendments — creating a constitutional right in those states to kill pre-born infants up till the moment of birth.

    God help them.

    Indeed.

Yesterday was the last day to gain plenary indulgences for the souls in Purgatory (the last day of the Octave of All Saints Day).  I stopped off at a local cemetery to pray at the site where my favorite aunt and uncle are buried.  As I stood there, asking for mercy for all of the souls of all of those people, I was brought to tears.  I had an overwhelming sense of the magnitude of my puny efforts, and how grateful I’d be to have someone praying for me. So many souls!  The idea that I could help free them from Purgatory was an overwhelming concept.

And then we have states passing laws to kill innocent lives for convenience.  In my faith, there will be no Purgatory option for those people who support abortion murder.  There will be no one able to pray for mercy for their souls.

As Childers said.  God help them.

“I have been practicing criminal law for 16 years. I started out in the DA’s Office and left in 2009 to start my own criminal practice,” said attorney Tonya McLaughlin.

McLaughlin is running against 262nd Criminal District Court Judge Lori Chambers Gray.

Lori Chambers Gray has granted multiple bonds to 12 defendants who went on to allegedly commit murder.

“This court, out of all 23 felony courts, has the highest caseload,” said McLaughlin. “When we say caseload, that means open cases on this docket. The last time I checked, it was close to 3,000.”

Right now with 774 of 782 voting centers reporting:

    Lori Chambers Gray – 526,846

    Tonya McLaughlin – 522,472

Chambers Gray should be removed from the bench and disbarred.

    RED WAVES

    Now for the good news!

Republicans appear poised to take control of the House of Representatives and shove Nancy Pelosi into retirement in Italy. Not enough votes have been counted yet to confirm anything….

Brian Kemp soundly beat professional whiner and democrat heavyweight Stacey Abrams for Georgia Governor, 54% to 46%. THIS TIME she can’t claim the election was stolen from her.

    Can she?

Oh, yes she can.  And will.

Other seats won for the Republicans: WI- Sen Ron Johnson (projected),  OH -J.D. Vance

    And then…

    Florida

On top of Governor DeSantis’ astounding blowout victory, Florida’s overall results were remarkable, a “real” red wave, or maybe even a tsunami.

Lefty insider mag Florida Politics reported sadly that:

… races were so uncontested that Democratic candidates might as well have been in witness protection. Nearly everywhere you looked, Republicans were holding victory parties… From Pensacola to Miami, voters sent an unmistakable message that they aren’t buying what Democrats are selling.

Democrat partisans on Twitter weren’t too happy, either. Threats to rage-quit the Sunshine State were quite common, e.g.:

But we know they won’t leave.  Dems threaten all the time to flee to more liberal friendly climes, yet can’t seem to afford a U-Haul….

Florida swept all five competitive U.S. House races last night, picking up +4 U.S. Congressional seats, making its new Congressional delegation 20 – 8 in favor of conservatives.

    /snip

Among all the wins for conservatives were a couple standouts. Trump-endorsed, photogenic Anna Paulina Luna won the House for Pinellas County, Florida, a historically-blue district, flipping the traditionally-democrat seat. And conservative Corey Simon became the first Republican since the Civil War to win the Florida Senate seat for Leon County, where the state’s capitol, Tallahassee, is located.

    Nice.

  24. Tedtam Avatar

I believe I mentioned yesterday? day before? about the leftist shenanigans on the single-member district vote in Florida, in Childers’ county.  About how the Soros-backed lefties were pushing out false text messaging in an attempt to change votes.  Well….

Here in my own uni-party county,..we managed to do the seemingly impossible: pass a single-member district amendment, which will finally break decades of single-party rule on the county commission — which coincidentally was the odious institution primarily responsible for local mask and vaccine mandates.

It took a lot of work by a lot of folks (and I might’ve even played a teensy-weensy part in it).

So the NEXT election cycle is going to look like something they haven’t seen before. Step by step.

As he says: Progress.  We are going to have to claw our way back to sanity, tiny step by tiny step.

I hope we’re successful.  But complacency and gov-ed are hard to overcome.

  25. Tedtam Avatar

And Childers reports that now that the House – which is responsible for sending money to Ukraine – will now be in control of the Republicans instead of the Democrats who have been funneling money to Zelensky.

This happens:  Zelensky is now ready to discuss peace talks.

Coincidence?  Just yesterday Zelensky was telling folks to go into bunkers and sing patriotic songs as Russia takes out their infrastructure and Zelensky begs for more money.

I’m not sure how I feel about the Ukrainian situation as I think there are bad players on all sides.  I do feel for the Ukrainian people, though.

This is interesting:  Clinton friend Evelyn de Rothschild passed away at age 91.  Yes, he was part of the Rothschild banking dynasty and one of the world’s richest men.

But I’m sure the Clintons have enough rich friends left to keep them in comfortable living conditions until the day they die.

I hope they find repentance before that happens, but I’m not holding my breath.

  27. Tedtam Avatar

And Childers’ efforts to put together his database of information against the jab and its authoritarian figures will be useful:

In the Accountability news section, the National Law review issued its “Class Action Trends Report Fall 2022” last month. You’ll like this. The report begins by noting sadly that “unfortunately, the outbreak of COVID-19- related litigation is still in its infancy.”….

The report describes a quickly-growing legal trend:

Of late, the greatest source of new cases challenge the steps taken to stem the COVID-19 tide, in the form of vaccine mandates. The number of such lawsuits has surpassed 1,200… The wave of litigation against employers that have implemented COVID-19 vaccination requirements shows no sign of ebbing. As of September 1, 2022, more than 700 lawsuits have been filed challenging vaccine mandates imposed by employers, both public and private. The number has risen steadily since.

    Today’s Hamousonian

(You would do well to read the WHOLE DAMN THING)

Well, it’s finally over. I’ve been through a lot of these elections. I’m usually disappointed at the outcome but there’s always been hope for the future. When a politician really sucks at their job we can always take comfort in the fact that they will be held accountable. I’m not feeling that this time. This is a pivotal election. The country had a clear choice to make and they’ve chosen. We had a choice between trying to pull ourselves out of the chasm we’ve fallen in to or dig down further and ignore the fact that we’re suffocating. We’ve chosen to quit breathing. From where I’m sitting, I see the event horizon, but it’s in my rear view mirror. There’s no going back now. It’s going to be a bumpy ride from here on out so hang on. In the meantime each and every one of you will remain in my prayers. I’ll leave you with a song and a comment from one of my cousins:

I was having a drink with Prince Charles and the Queen
When Winston Churchill stepped into my dream
His head it was heavy, his voice was shakin’
He said, “Look what they’ve done, it’s the death of a Nation”
I followed his shadow right out of the bar
And we talked all night ‘neath the light of the stars
He said, “This used to be a cradle of civilization
And now look what they’ve done, it’s the death of a Nation”
Every thing’s illusion now, nothing’s what it seems
Money isn’t everything, when you’re turning your back on a dream
I held you together when you were breakin’
You can pull down the flags, it’s the death of a Nation
Don’t say goodbye, don’t say goodbye
‘N we’ll never die, no we’ll never die
Don’t say goodbye, don’t say goodbye
‘N we’ll never die, no we will never die
From the bottom of this ancient heart
I hate to see you falling apart
‘Cos I love you still, I love you still, I love you still
You’ve been getting away with it far too long
Your promises ain’t worth the paper they’re printed on
I had a love, but that love’s been forsaken
Look what they’ve done, it’s the death of a Nation
Don’t say goodbye, don’t say goodbye
‘N we’ll never die, no we’ll never die
Don’t say goodbye, don’t say goodbye
‘N we’ll never die, no we will never die

Tonight, after the election is over, we can predict (and guarantee) the following results:

    1. God will still be on His throne
    2. Jesus will still be King of kings and Lord of lords.
    3. The Bible will still have all the answers to every problem.
    4. The tomb will still be empty.
    5. Jesus will still be the only way to heaven.
    6. Prayer will still work – it will still make a difference and God will still answer prayers.
    7. The cross, not the government, will still be our salvation.
    8. There will still be room at the cross.
    9. Jesus will still save anyone who places their faith and trust in Him.
    10. God will still be with us always – He will never leave us or forsake us.

BTW, what about Sarah Sanders winning in Ark?  I look for a massive exodus from the cities like Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and the like as businesses seek friendlier pastures.  They’ve been leaving Austin in droves out here, and it’s the right ones leaving.  Problem is not the Dems – we know what they will do.  The problem is the eReps who promise one thing and then do another.  People have figured that out and no longer trust them.

Update.  As I recover from my cataract surgery, the macular degeneration is still present which give the appearance of wavy vertical lines in my case.  Let’s say that I look at a door or window which has straight edges, to me there appears to be a wavy somewhere in the middle.  That will not be going away.  Secondarily, as my cataract surgery heals, my brain is still adjusting to the new and improved volume of light that is coming in, and it is still learning how to reinterpret these images. Result is still blurred vision when trying to read up close, while longer distance vision is more clear.  Using my old cheaters that have worked for the past 35 years of so no longer work, but I go back on the 21st to have my one month post op checkup and review.  I should be completely healed by then, and at that visit they will write me a prescription for new glasses which should help solve the problems – except for the MD.  So, while things are much better and should be much more betta in a couple of weeks, for now it’s still a learning process.  So the bold really does not offer improvement to the italics situation, but even reading the regular print is somewhat of a challenge right now.    But I’ll read what I can and report as I can.

    NOT PHOTOSHOPPED

Satellite imagery from NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory shows the Sun in ultraviolet light colorized in light brown. Dark patches on the Sun's surface are in the shape of a smile.

Say cheese! Today, NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory caught the Sun “smiling.” Seen in ultraviolet light, these dark patches on the Sun are known as coronal holes and are regions where fast solar wind gushes out into space.

Arizona’s gubernatorial, Senate races still too close to call

Democrat Katie Hobbs holds a narrow lead over Republican Kari Lakes in the governor’s race as Lake’s team filed a lawsuit against Maricopa Country after issues with tabulation machines.

Once they’ve gone to the courts, it’s over.

Dora “wins” by the standard always left leaning 15k votes in a close election while many polling places ran out of paper for the ballots to be cast at mostly republican polling places.

    James Taylor high for example.

American voting has become nothing but one big giant orgasm of a fraudulent clusterphluck.

But we’ll get em in 2024 until the propagandist media starts running stories about DeSantis and Russian hookers, pee stained mattresses and collusion.

My take on Georgia is Brian Kemp was rewarded with a win because he helped steal Georgia for the joined@thehip-sans-a-belt-slacks-parties and the Kenyan’s wooden dummy in 2020.

that explains why Walker is in a runoff and Kemp won by several points.

Voters disenfranchised in Harris County when 25 polling places in rep areas ran out of paper.

but I’m positive Dora’s 15k margin of victory was legit being as she hand picked that slug from dc to replace the last slug in charge of elections.

move along reps. Take your fraudulent whipping like good little doggies and shut up.

How about honey mustard N chicken with new potatoes and green peas? I wanted to fix something for supper but didn’t want to go all out and one of my friends posted a recipe for this quick and easy supper, so I went for it. And I got to use my new Dutch Oven again. Fine eating, especially for something so simple. I also had some fresh garlic that my wife pulled up down at the Farm House.
    Yup, Life is Good.
