I love that picture! FWIW; The headline came up several seconds before the picture so I figured it was a post by wagonburner. It’s Tuesday and we may get some rain tonight, I sure hope so it’s dry here.

Oh well, I guess I wound up on the S#!T List…….. 🙁

FIRSTICUS.

I gots one in the spit bucket, a one word post and it gets flagged; whodathunkit?
It’s not even a bad word. . .
-
Well I’ll have to wait for daylight to survey the goings on last night and check my rain gauge. Sounded like a bunch.
-
Comment in the bucket.

Morning gang. Cool 48 degrees here this morning. Winds are from the north but are not howling as they were last night. Of course, not a drop of rain out of all this for us out here. Eyeball report – fuzzy print but pain free. I go back for a check up next month, and I’m expecting that by that time we’ll see what sort of adjustments we may need to make with glasses and such for up close reading. You all have a good day.
-
Wow, Granny Hamous has already put me in time out this morning. Don’t know what this one is about. Maybe I spoke my piece a little too loud or something.
-
Good Morning Hamsters,
The front came through sometime last night and left 0.14″ of rain. Every drop is appreciated. Down to 59 and presumably we shall have a few days of seasonal temps.
We are thinking about taking a little trip for a change of scene and maybe a chance to see some Fall color. Except there isn’t much color around here, maybe some in N. Texas or farther north. Nobody has had a frost yet.
One can’t possibly guess what the next political story will bring. Anything seems possible, really possible. This is a strange season.
-
First?
-
Everybody’s comments were in the bucket. Weird.
So I just released all of them.
-
I still have two in the spit bucket.
-
Make that 3 and counting.
-
Test.
-
Thanks Shannon. Spotted over yonder;
OleTimerLin and his lovely bride Dee are celebrating their 53rd anniversary.
-
FWIW; My #10 landed in the Spit Bucket again. I guess Hammy’s Granny is on the warpath?
-
Every comment is still going into the bucket. I don’t know how to fix it.
-
Word Press was a little cranky this morning and decided to quarantine everybody.
-
So I guess Shannon or some other Moderator will be busier than that three legged cat today?
Emptying the Spit Bucket. 😉
-
I think I have finally cleared the hurdle and can post now.
-
IT works after refreshing about 4 times. Word Press need to take a Midol.

Chris Salcedo on his radio show is reporting on a Bloomberg story about us having less than 25 days of diesel left. Of course, Bloomberg is worried about how that will affect Joe and not the American public. Salcedo has not been able to corroborate the story himself, but a trucker called in from the northeast market and said that he’s having problems getting fuel now.
Salcedo said no one in the industry will confirm or deny the story.
-
My buddy Les posted a beautiful picture of a Scissortail over yonder. Absolutely beautiful bird.
-
It appears that every comment is still going to moderation. Except for perhaps Tedtam.
I need to get in the shower. Will be back, and release more comments.
-
Nope, my post went spit bucket, too. I just have magical powers and went to approve myself.
-
Scissortails are possibly my favorite bird. I do love watching a hawk soaring in the sky, though.
-
Word Press just logged me out three times in a row over about two minutes. Something is glitchy. I have a really busy day and have to leave very soon.
Plug the leaks and keep baling out the water.
-
If you are close enough to a scissor tail, and the sun hits those silver head feathers just right, they almost look like glass. It’s pretty amazing.

I have my coffee in hand, and the roundup from today’s C&C looks very interesting.
Good morning, C&C, and Happy Tuesday! Your terrific roundup includes: are we seeing the first signs of a major shift in the Ukraine narrative?; good news trending on social media about the elections; so much so that bots are pushing back; three more sudden and unexpected celebrity deaths; cross dressing volleyball player spikes teenaged girl; you’ll never guess what top Biden officials say is the ‘top’ threat to the mid-term elections; and an MSNBC focus group lays some hard truths on the interviewer about J6.
-
Well, this is good news (emphasis mine):
The top question that I am asked at speaking events, and the topic that occupies most of my strategic thinking is: WHEN will there be accountability for what has happened with the jabs. There’s a lot happening behind the scenes you don’t know about. I am working on a special post for Friday that describes exactly how we get from where we are now to criminal prosecutions. Stay tuned.
I’m hoping that Childers and all of those lawyers and lawmakers that he’s been training/working with will soon start slinging
hammerslawsuits at all the appropriate people. It’s just a shame that people had to die, suffer, lose jobs, be ostracized, etc., for this to happen. I know that most of the Karens won’t be held accountable for their insufferable behavior, but we can hope there’s at least a little bit of remorse. /not holding breath
-
Hamsters – as long as I’m at the computer, I’m keeping the “pending comments” window open and will be checking it to let you in. Be advised that I may start another canning or treadmill session soon, though.
I haven’t decided what to do first.
-
Finally, a little bit of sanity from the left to the meat puppet:
The Washington Post ran a story yesterday headlined, “Liberals urge Biden to rethink Ukraine strategy.” Apparently, the 30-Democrat ’Progressive Caucus’ sent a letter yesterday asking Joe Biden NOT to escalate Ukraine, but instead resolve the war peacefully.
/snip
The other significant bit was the letter’s call for “direct talks with Russia,” meaning, cut Ukraine out of the negotiation, since it’s just complicating everything.
/snip
Rank and file twitter liberals were NOT pleased. “Russian stooges!” “Why don’t you just hand Ukraine to Putin on a silver platter!” “Appeaser!” “Traitors!”, and my personal favorite, “You want Ukrainians to suffer under occupation and torture for YOUR benefit.”
/snip
The commenters who enthusiastically attacked the Progressive Caucus are probably the very same people who screamed the loudest and longest for harder lockdowns and tighter masks and stricter jab passports. They’re always so angry about the ‘current thing.’
And then THIS happened:
Anyway, within a few hours, the Progressive Caucus was forced to issue a “clarification” emphasizing their support for Ukraine. They must have calculated that they’d gotten a bit over their skis.
But Childers makes the point that this is how the narrative on the jab began to change. One opposing view comes to light, then another, then another. I hate to say it, but the Progressive Caucus may have been the dancing man on the hill. Who will be the first and second followers?
-
I’ll let Squawk know about the ‘pending comments’ issue – when he wakes up. we were up late last night with the storm coming thru (didn’t want to miss the excitement)… I seem to have picked up some sort of stomach bug – so… not going anywhere outside the house anytime soon.

Next up: a veritable chorus line of tweets from folks voting R for the first time. One after the other, like a line of can-can girls. Then this:
In fact, the trend is so obvious that there’s a counter-trend of folks claiming to be Republicans voting democrat ‘for the first time’ because Joe Biden — I am not making this up — is ‘one of the greatest presidents we’ve ever had.’
Funny thing is, all of these tweets look suspiciously similar. Like those chocolates on the factory line in that famous “I Love Lucy” episode. All coming so quickly that Lucy couldn’t keep up and had to start shoving them in her mouth, her clothes, etc.
-
Bsue – hope you get to feeling better!
-
Test 3
-
Reporter Megyn Kelly announced yesterday on air that her sister, 58, died this weekend from a sudden and unexpected heart attack.
Megyn has always been pretty steadily pro-jab, but this month came out as “very skeptical.”
Now, she gets it. Her sister had to die first, but now she gets it.
- More “sudden and unexpected” public deaths:
Craig Lewis Band member and America’s Got Talent finalist Zuri Craig, 44, - Also Friday, British TV and theatre actress Josephine Melville suddenly and unexpectedly died backstage, AFTER performing in the play Nine Night.
May they rest in peace. Them, and all the non-celebrity folks whose names are never mentioned.
- More “sudden and unexpected” public deaths:
-
The CoffeeAndCovid.com column then mentions the volleyball story, where the trans-whatever ex-dude spiked a volleyball right at a girl’s face.
A teenaged North Carolina female volleyball player suffered severe head and neck injuries, long-term concussion symptoms, and vision problems, after an opposing cross-dressing male player spiked the ball right in her face.
I heard on the radio this morning that these injuries are persistent. Her school has forfeited all games against this team, due to “safety concerns”.
But hey, diversity and equality! I’m sure the girls he/she plays against are feeling real “equal” about this time.
-
WordPress is misbehaving huh?
-
I smell desperation:
Politico ran a trial balloon article yesterday headlined “Biden admin set to warn about threats to nation’s election infrastructure.”…
Physical threats!
Politico gave a single example of the so-called physical threats: “intimidation at ballot boxes.” I guess they mean someone is watching drop boxes, and Politico thinks that is the WORST. It’s a thousand times worse than the Ukraine war, and the federal government needs to do something about it.
/snip
Deep in the story, Politico admitted CISA Director Jen Easterly told reporters on October 13th that, “At this time, we are not aware of any specific or credible threats to compromise or disrupt election infrastructure.”
/snip
Can you guess what “officials” said was the top threat to mid-term elections?…
It’s misinformation, silly!
Politico ended the story saying, “Officials consider misinformation and disinformation the biggest threats to the midterms.”
And of course, government agencies get to decide what the “misinformation” is. Welcome to 1984.
-
I’m hitting the road.
I’ll dump the bucket as I can.
-
Squawk, thanks for the wifi troubleshooting resources yesterday.
-
And Childers links to this MSNBC focus group video on J6.
Let’s just say it did not go well for the interviewer. It doesn’t seem that she got any of the affirmations for her narrative that she was so desperately digging for.
-
Reading the comments, I now have this question:
I usually early vote, because I don’t want to show up on election day to find that “I” have already voted.
But then the comment was made that early voting shows the Dems how much cheating is required. That commenter suggested voting on election day, late in the day.
What do y’all do?
-
Got a text from the boy and he is flying out to Vegas for the “Pit Crew Challenge” with his company. First one since 2019, the last one he went to was in 2018. It’s a tough job but somebody’s got to do it. FWIW; He went to Tahoe twice this summer since the COVID had it shut down. These were his first Tahoe trips as an AVP, almost 3 years. 😉
-
#43 Tedtam that is absolutely hilarious! Tucker had that on his show last night.
-
I’ve always voted whenever the opportunity presented itself. While I was still commuting into Houston, I would, most times, stop by the early voting location on my way to work – generally to walk right in, vote, and get on the road in 10-15 minutes at most. This is the first go-round since I retired, but will likely vote early if/when the opportunity presents itself. All this to say, Montgomery County is pretty much a red county anyway…
-
From C&C comments:
I posted a video from Dr. John Campbell (2.5M subs) yesterday about how he bought Ivermectin and how he uses it. (He claims it’s for ‘scabies’ to get around censorship).
This was one of the comments, pretty funny:
“Tested positive in January after 2 days of 102 fever. I accidentally confused my horses dewormer for yoghurt at the ratio of .04mg/kg for 5 days and within 36 hours my fever was down to 99 and I was feeling much better, same for the wife. My Dr was told by her supervising hospital that owns her office that she was not allowed to prescribe Ivrmctn. I was able to replace my horses dewormer for $6.99 USD at my local feed store. Ahhh, the benefits of living in the country. By the way, most of my rancher neighbors also made that mistake when they tested positive with similar results. Don’t store horse dewormer in the yoghurt section of your refrigerator.”

Well now that Mr. Squawkster is on the job, the difficulties shall be sorted out forthwith.

Childer’s links don’t work for me over here.
-
Also from comments at C&C – note that in the DeSantis/Crist debate, Crist kept pivoting to abortion “rights’:
A Republican, an Independent and a Democrat walk into a bar in Florida. The bartender turns around and says, “What will you have Mr Crist?”
And he ordered a Bloody Mary.
-
Childer’s links don’t work for me over here.
I usually open the links in a new tab, and then grab the url from the open tab. 9/10 I don’t link directly from the Childers column.
Do other links work?

Hubby says the tree removal is going well. Turns out it’s a water oak, and the tree guy wants the wood. I told Hubby to grab some for us, it’ll probably be good for burning in our pit. Hubby assures me that there’s plenty to go around.
I’m just glad it’s coming down and that danger is being removed from our property.

Candidates for health freedom list can be found here.
The commenters at C&C are so helpful.

This C&C commenter ‘splains:
Why I’m voting straight Republican-
Take this experimental med or be fired.
Your young child will be wearing a mask for the next year.
A girl in your community was just abducted and sold into sexual slavery because the immigration laws are ignored.
Someone in your town will spend months in jail with no opportunity for bail because he/she has a contrarian opinion about the legitimacy of our elections.
We’re here to seize your guns because we received an anonymous complaint about your demeanor and no, we don’t have a warrant and there will be no hearing
The voting will start a month before election day and end two weeks after election night.

I get the C&C by mail. I’ll just watch it there.

Yes, fixed.

I need to get off the dime and buy my new laptop.

The problem was a confluence of mistakes and Bluehost web portal being updated. I needed to update my incredible card expiration date. Hey we have all done that, forget to update incredible card expiration dates. Anyway a vital subscription lapsed causing angst on the web page comment system. I commenced to update the needed information and it just so happened that BH was updating their webportal and I could not update online. Talked to a nice Pakistani man located in Malaysia who provided a means for me to update my incredible card. I promptly renewed the required subscription and it appears to have remedied the malady. In short…….
MY BAD.
Guess y’all are just gonna have to fire me.
-
I believe I’ve been corrected on this before but I always voted on election day because I’d heard those were the votes that were used on real time announcements and early votes were only counted if needed. Probably wrong but I’ve always voted on Election Day. And I have the luxury of no big crowds out here.
-
Just took an election day poll. Squawk is not allowed to quit or be fired. It is a life time appointment, he can only be impeached to be removed but it takes a 100% vote and all must vote.
-
Got my oiled changed. Got my mail held while I’m gone. Went to the bank ATM.
And VOTED. Brisk business at the poll.
All of the above took 40 minutes.
God Bless Country Living.

Country Boy Goes To NJ Diary…
I was hell bent on traveling with only a carry on bag. Found out quickly that you can’t pack five days of warm clothes in a carry on.
So I had to buy another piece of luggage at Walmart.

Squawk you can’t be fired unless this guy sez you’re fired.

I would be honored to be fired by that guy.

I’ve also prepaid and reserved covered parking at Park N Fly.
And prepaid my snacks and drink at United.
Man, this technology stuff is cool.

You’ve got to think outside the box. For a one week trip, you only need three pairs of skivies and socks, three shirts, and two pants. Bring a long sleeve sweater or other layer and your coat.
I’m pretty sure Texpat will let you use his laundry facilities. You could probably even get by with less.
I attended the NPE, National Plastics Exposition, in 2000 at the McCormick center in Chicago for five days. I had checked a small bag because I had five pairs of slacks and five dress shirts. I met my boss at the gate at IAH on a Sunday evening. He did not check a bag and had a really small shoulder bag with his laptop. I asked him about clothes. The only extra clothes he had was a set of under garments, a rolled up polo style shirt, a rolled up pair of slacks, and a few toiletries. He went on to say that he goes from his air conditioned house to his A/C car to his A/C office. He said he virtually never sweats in his work clothes so he just wore the same pair of pants five days a week.
Between that advise and eventually finding Rick Steves’ website, I have become the master of minimalist packing.
-
And yes I have washed skivies in the sink in my hotel room.
-
Shannon do you have the United app on your phone? You can get your boarding pass electronically and scan your phone at the gate to board the plane. You don’t have to worry about keeping up with a paper boarding pass.
It will also send you push notifications with the flight status such as delays or gate changes. No need to go find the monitors to check flight status.
-
Morning, gang. I got in on the tippy-tail-end of the Blue Host problem. We are so lucky to have Squawk ready, willing, and able to keep The Couch running for us! BSue, please give him a kiss, for all of us!
As far as I can tell, from stepping out back on the patio, we got no rain last night at Chez Harp. I certainly wasn’t awakened last night by any storm noises. But right now, there is a fierce 20 mph wind, and it’s cold: 63°.

My aunt could pack a twenty pound boulder in a ten pound bag and have nary a wrinkle.

Talk about updates and expirations.
Harvard is being sued in this huge class action (white and Asian students) affirmative action lawsuit going before SCOTUS. Their legal expenses are around $25 million and one Swiss insurance policy was supposed to cover $17 million, but somebody at Harvard overlooked the notice and they didn’t renew the policy. It was months past due.
Ooops. Harvard is out the $17 million.
I thought they were all geniuses up there in Boston.

The grossest day of the year was getting on a train on the first cold day of the year. All those Germans had dragged out their un-laundered winter gear that they had sweated through the previous winter (or ten).

I remember getting on a large elevator in Dallas one year about February or March and I was the only Yank with about 15 Brits and Scots all dressed in their woolen winter clothes.
I didn’t think I was going to make it to my floor. The stench from their clothing was overwhelming and they seemed oblivious. This was a very expensive hotel, too.

Project Veritas does it again. Democrats put money behind Trump-backed candidates because they thought it would help them in the elections.
Their attempt to manipulate the elections is sad. Laughable. Welcomed. [Insert your word here.]
Given the current state of the economy, I can’t see how this strategy would work in any sane world.
It’s not only Joe that can wiss things up.
-
#81 Tedtam – you answered your own question (if there was one) with 4 words… “in any sane world” …. I’ve not seen many people call this world “sane” – at least, of late

Texpat that boss I had back in 2000 was an Englishman. Fortunately he bathed everyday and he never emanated any foul odors.
Shannon I had to deal with Moroccans that only bathed once or twice a week for an entire year. Also remember the Moroccans are heavily influenced by French culture. There were some days during the summer were you wanted to take about five steps back from someone. It was really bad when they came to your desk and you were seated and trapped like a wild animal.

I had a short contract for a man whose halitosis was so bad he actually got an anonymous note suggesting he brush more often.
I don’t think that was the issue; I have the feeling it was something more organic internally. He made it known that he was consulting a doctor about the issue after he got that note.
Fortunately, I was never in his office with the door closed, but I heard it could get pretty bad in close quarters with him.

Re: Halloween pics
A few years back, someone hung a figure in their tree a week or so before Halloween.
Oh, my word, did someone get triggered. The homeowner took down his decoration before someone became dangerously unhinged.
BTW – IIRC, the dummy that was hung in the tree was white.

Alex Berenson:
So much for the Omicron boosters.
Updated mRNA booster shots from Pfizer and Moderna – okayed for human use on the basis of data from a handful of mice – actually produce fewer useful antibodies against Omicron than a fourth jab with the original formulation.
Don’t take it from me. Take it from a paperreleased Monday from Dr. David Ho, one of the world’s top virologists.
Worse, newer Omicron variants evade both types of boosters with particular ease, the report found.
The report helps explain why Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the director of the Centers for Disease Control, was infected yet again last week with Sars-Cov-2 just a month after receiving her newest booster. Given that the original fourth dose appears to provide at most a few weeks of partial protection against Omicron infection, the booster dose may well offer NO protection at all against the new variants.

Childers said this day was coming. The dam is breaking, and at least some people are going to be held responsible for their madness.
BREAKING: New York City ordered by court to reinstate all those fired over Covid vaccine mandates

On top of that, unconstitutional. And stupid. And something we’d see in China.

So Shannon is going to see Brother Texpat in Jersey, very good. I don’t fly much anymore but we flew to Midland last week, first time for me since I always drive and wife usually drives. I say get a fair sized bag, take the essentials but pack light. Since I was going to Midland in the fall, I took one pair of shorts and one pair of jeans and wore a pair. My problem was with my light leather jacket and my fancy boots that I had to pack but I managed to stuff them in the bag along with the undershorts N socks and a few shirts. I even put my laptop in the bag since it has to be inspected at the gate if you carry it. BTW; Jacket wasn’t needed but you never know.

Signs and wonders
One of the signs that tells me we are in trouble….. Michael Berry was asked who he suggested we vote for. His answer was to vote only for those people with “R”s behind their name. I fought that advice during several election cycles. Now I am forced to agree with that advice.
While my thought is that a Republican sweep will be nothing more than a placebo I m still forced to agree with Berry. But here is a reality most people ignore. just for the sake of argument let’s say the pubbies rule 2/3 of the political world after the elections. They still have to deal with BidenCo and the deep state. I have heard arguments that the pubbies will have veto proof numbers and they will battle BidenCo Inc that way. My reply is “really”?
You got your deep tater Mitch “the itch” McConnell and his minions too deal with. There is just enough old guard pubbies that will “veto” the new guard. It has been discussed here on the couch how Gavin “Gruesome” Newsom could be extreme chicanery be elevated to the residency. I see major gridlock for awhile while the pubbies get all aghast but as the always do cave to the demorats. Then we can look forward to a 6 month to a year love fest. And the right back full swing election cycle.
So i said all that to say this…. go ahead pubbies win. WIN BIG even, but there ain’t gonna be nothin change. Our trajectory will remain on a growing mess. And if Biden gets us into a war? All bets are off.

”We can become a conduit for the government or anyone else to access anything on your phone anytime they ask.”
Sadly I agree with this too. I use a VPN and use DDG to try and remain somewhat anonymous online. I do realize that all these apps on my phone probably are a Trojan Horse. Not only do they probably allow government access without any type of warrant they probably sell info to 3rd party outfits. How is it that I can talk within earshot of my phone about socks made from alpaca wool and the next day I start seeing advertisements for alpaca wool socks?

I am not retracting my statement I made above about “just vote “R” above. But it is guys like him that just chills my stuff. He gets reelected out of our desperation to remove “D”s and stem the tide of destruction. It is guys like patch that work against the wishes of conservatives.

Porte cochère, Man, Porte cochère
Ha! I thought about Hamous as I typed that!
For what they are axing for them, they should be called a Porte Cochere.

” Rep. Tom Cole (R-Okla.) is a top appropriator and is likely going to be the Rules Committee chairman of the next Congress. In other words, he will control the flow to the floor for every bill and has a big say in in the entire budget process. He is also a man who believes we are not spending enough money on Fourth Reich agenda items, including the persecution of Trump supporters on January 6 – and beyond. “
and,
” Some Republicans are open to it. Rep. Tom Cole of Oklahoma, a senior GOP appropriator who objected to certifying the election results after the Jan. 6 attack, said he’s open to authorizing more money for the investigation.
“Those people ought to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I don’t have any problem giving the Justice Department the resources it needs to do that,” he said. “I don’t have any problem spending extra money to make sure that anybody that broke into this building is brought to justice.’ “
We are not going to win until we defeat the enemies in our own party.

I am slightly optimistic we will have some new people in there to hold together the battle this stuff, won’t be this time around but maybe begin building some coalitions for the future. I know, I know, we say that all the time.

Michael Berry just played some of the clip with the MSNBC anchor interviewing the focus group. He’s having fun with it.

My son and his gal are headed east to Smokey Mountains and North Carolina in his new to him corvette. I don’t know what “C” version it is but 2015 model. He just messaged me getting 27 mpg at 85 mph. “Lovin this 7th gear” he said.

Since there is nothing worth watching on TV, I have been binge watching this Missouri gal on YouTube, to try and catch up to current date.
By the age of 24, she had graduated (in 3 years) with a degree in Marine Biology and got her Captain’s License.
Bought a 1993 – 52 foot Beneteau monohull sailboat, on which she lives with her cat.
They live in the Bahamas teaching free-diving, doing charters, and taking the occasional sailboat delivery job.
Solo-Sailing a 52 footer around the Caribbean and to FLA is quite something.
I’ve seen her strip and refinish all of the teak on the boat, install wiring for various navigation components, wash and wax the hull while it was in dry dock (to replace a brand new engine that was installed incorrectly).
Oh, and did I mention she’s kinda hot, too?

Down, boy! Don’t let that boat get you all excited.

#118 GJT When daughter drove her Corvette from Richmond Texas to PC Beach Florida many years ago she got 28 MPG and she has a heavy foot. But a Vette is slippery, little drag and it was probably turning 1200 RPM @ 80.
-
#120 Shannon: It seems to me that she has a leak in the fuel tank, and that is letting water into the system. Going straight to the engine as the primary source of the problem doesn’t seem to me to be the best course of action.
A guy at the office had a similar problem, he thought it was the engines but it was the fuel tank that was the offending issue.

Shannon, I cheated tonight, since we worked outside all day I fixed a couple of Hobo’s for supper. Boneless pork chops, asparagus and corn on the cob. Quick and easy to throw together then pop into the oven for an hour. I also toasted some Texas Toast to go with it. Pretty dang good eating to be so easy to fix.
Oh and I used our fine China and best Tin-Foil for this auspicious occasion. 😉

You? Paper plates?
I feel so validated now.

You need to up your game.
I’ve been following this woman through all her trials and tribulations for several years.
I’m still trying to figure out whether I actually approve of her life decisions or not. She clearly comes from a wealthy family who doesn’t mind indulging her fantasy life, but she has young children who get shuttled off to other family members when she wants to take off. She is a divorcee and a widow. Nevertheless, the saga is intriguing and, man. so is she.
-
Texpat @ 8:37 Have you posted her before? I’ve seen her videos at some time but I’ve not followed her.
-
125 Bones,
You really need to watch the previous thirty episodes to get a handle on the many problems she’s had.
Proving once and for all that a boat is nothing more than a hole in the water to dump armored-trucks-full-of-money.
I’m only up to Episode 14, myself.
-
FWIW; If you missed Tucker tonight and can find his show you need to see the last part where Marjorie Taylor Greene got hit with a Swat Team for the sixth time!!! UN-DAMN-BELIEVABLE!!! ~SPITS~

Hey, My girl does it solo.
-
You? Paper plates?
I feel so validated now.
You have no idea how long it took me to get the wife to agree to paper plates when it’s just the two of us. Hell! She’ll even wash the dishes but I usually do that.
-
One episode covered a charter she did for a swim suit company doing a photo shoot for the launch of their new line of bikinis.
-
Sailing the world, remind me to tell you about the Lockheed NASA engineer that sold his house after buying and equipping a sailboat to retire on and sail the world. Last I heard, he was living in a condo with his new girlfriend while his sailboat was moored at Porto Afino. Not sure what happened to wife 1.0. 😉

I’m hearing thunder boomers to the west maybe we’ll get that front with the rain that they’ve been promising. We sure need it.

Touche’ !
My girl has done it solo, with girlfriends, with a husband and a boyfriend all at different times. She’s complicated, but like I said, she is interesting and she can hold her own with anybody modeling bikinis.
The woman reminds me of a couple of chicks I’ve known and I wouldn’t partake, although it’s fun to watch. I’ve been there, done that and don’t want to go back.
-
Final note:
There are no paper plates in this house. The only time we ever served on paper plates was for Kosher events in case there were folks here who lived Shomer Shabbas.
I refuse to eat off paper unless I’m at the Millheim BBQ.
-
The bikini shoot was actually an outlier when it comes to her videos. But when your a girl trying to make a living on and pay a big note on a big boat, you do what you have to do. I’m sure she ended up with some free merchandise out of the deal but she rarely shows herself in such a revealing way.
-
Yeah, but you run your dishwasher every damn day.
If you use paper plates you can run the noisy SOB once a week or ten days.
And no, I’m not gonna hand wash them every time.

Looks like ATM football is falling apart for the time being. I heard these idiots were smoking weed in the visitor dressing room at S,. Carolina. Sounds far fetched, but who knows these days. Sounds like they need to tighten things up around there or start winning football games – one or the other. https://www.texasfootball.com/article/2022/10/25/three-of-texas-a-m-2022-recruiting-class-suspended-indefinitely-per-report?ref=article_preview_img
PS also heard the number suspended is up to 4, after announcing yesterday that 3 other linemen are out for the year with injury. Time for some therapy? See below so as to not get 2 links on same post,.

I didn’t pay attention to college football this week.
Aggies lost again? Good grief.
maybe the Whorns and the Aggies should start a new conference with Rice and Tulane and La Tech.

I was a Cub Scout, a Boy Scout and I camped out on my own and with others. There were no paper plates and you had to boil water over a campfire and wash/rinse the pots, pans and messkits so nobody would get sick from the next meal.
It has never bothered me.

Here’s 2 fellas Shannon & I were just yakkin about…..

My back doesn’t like standing at the sink.

For unknown reasons, the speaker on my laptop stopped working. I fiddled with some controls on the screen and on the keyboard, but nothing I did brought the sound back. I had a 1-hour program I wanted to play and listen to, so was about to pop a gasket. Then I thought to take the headset I have plugged into a portable radio and plugged it in on the side of the laptop. Hurrah, sound.
So that got me past the immediate problem, but has anyone ever had something happen like this?
-
Hmmm, the speaker is working again on the laptop, with ads & so forth popping up with sound.
