Got all the porch construction debri pick up and burned what was burnable then got the mowing done before the supposed rain coming, but no, no rain, none even in the forecast.
Just a friendly reminder Texas Constitution article 4-Sec. 7. GOVERNOR AS COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF OF MILITARY FORCES. Shannon Yabbut… Getting things out of the passenger seat is one of the worst things I can do. Triggered acuppla times on the way up here. For the sake of your arm, I am so glad to hear you are leaving town, Tedtam. And leaving behind that kitchen and all the thrift stores and every other temptation you have. Put it back in a sling and leave it there for a week. I hope those babies are too big for you to pick up, too. There.… Read more »
How in the world Little Ricky was ever conceived on the Lucy show no one knows.
I remember a celebrity being asked this, in the era of separate beds. He told the interviewer “Every night I throw my hat on her bed. Sometimes she throws it back, other times she brings it back.”
Scroll to 9:14. In this episode she has taken some sort of pills but I think I remember her getting drunk on wine. Right now I don’t have time to look.
FWIW; That took me 2 minutes to find this, scrolling through fast.
Speaking of Bewitched, I have a hard time sleeping in the middle of the night often anymore so I watch MeTV a lot. They sure drink a lot on that show, sometimes to the point of drunk. I was trying to think of the other old shows (family oriented) where drinking was so prevalent – Dick Van Dyke maybe? I… Read more »

The arthritis in my hands and wrists this morning is making it hard to type. I had a lot of things I wanted to post today, but I’m not sure how much typing I’ll try to do. I just read this shocking story of a woman in Plano who was almost murdered by the staff at her local hospital. She has filed a lawsuit against them and the telling is like something out of a horror novel. Stephen King couldn’t do better. Over a week after Gail Seiler’s physician had given her a terminal diagnosis, her husband,… Read more »
And the first C&C comment: If one objectively weighs the evidence, Kimdotcom’s assessment of the US is right on the money. From Childers’ C&C, in a report on highly activist gay teacher shoving the alphabet madness upon her students: You have to admit, they’ve succeeded beyond their wildest imagination by linking the popular concept of “freedom” with sexual deviancy, calling it “liberation.” That’s the link that must be broken. Sexual deviancy is not freedom. It’s the reverse opposite of freedom. It’s… Read more »

Sorry didn’t realize it was paywalled.
Will Ron DeSantis Miss His Moment?
So I’m at son-in-law’s house to babysit my grandson because the kids are going out for their anniversary dinner.
I asked SIL, the senior Wall Street analyst about ESG and he printed out a 55 page report he wrote on ESG.
The subject is a lot more complicated than even I thought. Wait till I send this to Squawk.
Digital medical advice only costs $20. I’m the cheapest in town.

My phone number has been disseminated to every conservative fundraising bot data list on the planet.
I keep blocking the numbers but it doesn’t help. I guess they have an infinite number of numbers to use.

“DICK VAN DYKE SHOW” – BEST LAURA PETRIE MOMENTS – COMPILATION!!!

I am at the vet with Headcrusher. It is time to put his dog down. It is a real BUMMER!
I don’t remember regular cocktails on the Dick Van Dyke Show.
There is bound to be an episode with a tipsy Laura – how could they resist? I just don’t remember it.
They still slept in separate beds in that era.

Went to the meat store and loaded the truck.

It looks like they captured his huge, goofy, jug-ears; they show on the profile.
Oh yes, Jeanie! Oh Master!! 😀
Yes, I Love Lucy.
GJT, pretty sure you’re right about Dick Van Dyke…Others that pop to mind were Bewitched, I Dream Of Jeanie, and I Love Lucy

It says here that the cruising speed of the Apache is 165mph.
From a couple hundred feet below they still look like they’re moving in slow motion.

Four Apache helicopters just flew low overhead.
Hope they were friendlies.
Morning, gang. I also liked the Voodoo Daddy piece.
And it even has a Dominiquer Hen in it. 😀
